We love taco trucks! This spot is so convenient and easy to spot, also hard to miss since the crowd be around the truck. We ordered shrimp taco(new menu items), chorizo, campechanos, oreja, and pastor. My mans got the chorizo and campechanos so i dont know the details but he said they were good4/5. Pastor was a lil tough and dry, shrimp was good but not much seasoning, oreja was crunchy and fatty, and the sauces was right yet not spicy enough(for me at least) The prices here is very nice to you, $2.50-$3.00 for each taco. Always drove by here and decided to give them a try. You literally can't mix it. It's right outside of Chase bank. The tacos are super cheap and pretty worth it. Most of them are $2 and some are $2.25. I went there last night and ordered some tacos and it took around 20 minutes. They come with cucumbers, cilantro, green, and red sauce The carnitas taco is probably my favorite. It was juicy and flavorful. My biggest fear with a lot of taco places is the meat being fry but definitely not at this place. Both the green and red sauces are delicious. They are creamy with a little bit of spice. The chorizo taco was pretty good as well. It was spicy but a little bit in the dryer side. The pastor taco was okay since I've had better ones. The meat wasn't as juicy and the pineapple flavor wasn't as enhanced as I've had at other places. Hands down though, the carnitas is prob the best taco here and only $2 so you can't lose! This review is so long overdue but It's definitely a good one. I discovered Tacos Lupita through my boyfriend who heard good things about this taco truck. I can't even describe just how good it is and how the quality is always top notch every time. They had me hooked from the first time we bought from the truck. I had some of the BEST tacos in California, I'm talking fresh made tortillas right in front of you with lines for it almost everyday during the hot summer months and tacos Lupita's really fills that void. The truck is parked in front of a Chase bank so super convenient for cash withdrawals if you're a Chase user. There's also a Santander, Citi, and Bank of America al within a block so no excuse for you to not get some of what they have to offer! My favorites for tacos are definitely chorizo, al pastor (the pineapple is so good and they give you nice chunks of them too), and the lengua (not dry like some other places, it's hard to get this one right). The tacos are amazing but you also have to try their cemitas. Those sandwiches are stuffed with Oaxacan cheese and just so good!! My friend ordered the steak burrito $8.95. I was craving tacos and wanted to try all of them so I ordered the roast pork, chicken, steak and chorizo tacos. All tacos are $1.75, but the chorizo and campechano is $2.00. I ordered at the truck, and it only took around 5-10 minutes to prepare all the food. The order came with green and red spicy sauce. The steak burrito was HUGE. The entire takeout box was filled to the brim with the burrito, with a side of lettuce, guacamole, and tomatoes. My tacos came with cilantro and onions, but unfortunately no tomatoes. Nonetheless, all of the tacos tasted great. The meat was seasoned perfectly, and none were dry. For $1.75 a taco, I'll be returning almost every weekend or every time I'm craving tacos! Previous reviews stated the times are a little off compared to what they advertise, but I can confirm they're there on Sundays in the afternoon! I do recommend calling ahead of time and picking up afterwards to minimize wait time. But they do offer free delivery with a minimum of $10. I just came back from San Diego, yet was still craving tacos. So I was happy to see this truck parked in front of Chase bank. It was around 12:30pm and the truck had just gotten there, so it took a bit longer to get my food than it normally wound since they were still setting up. I just got two tacos since I had already had lunch. Went with pastor and suadero. I wanted lengua, but turns out they didn't have it today. The tacos are relatively small, but with a good portion of protein per taco. They're fairly priced. And they were delicious. Al pastor is usually my favorite, followed closely by lengua, but this suadero really stole the show. The suadero was so soft and tender, with a really nice beefy flavor. The pastor was a bit tougher by comparison, but had great flavor as well. I liked that the pastor comes with chopped pineapple without having to ask for it. Both tacos were topped simply with cilantro and onion. A splash of lime and some of the included green sauce topped off each taco. The corn tortillas were really thick and stood up to the filling well. I would have liked a tortilla that was a bit more delicate. It felt like there was a lot of tortilla to eat per taco. I paid a total of $3.75 ($1.75 for the pastor and $2.00 for the suadero), which was decent. Go into Elmhurst and get much larger tacos with much more meat for $2.50 each, but here in Brooklyn, that pricing seems very appropriate. I'd definitely return. I hope they have lengua next time. read more

Had to try the steak, pastor, and chorizo tacos... keep in mind these are smaller tacos but they pack a lot of flavor. The tortillas are definitely homemade. The green sauce that comes with it adds the perfect bit of acidity and kick. It compliments the fattiness of the meat perfectly. Tacos are very hard to make well and easy to make average. These are made well. Some of the better tacos I have had in brooklyn. Definitely recommend. I was going back and forth between 4 and 5 stars....
