I've been ordering here since 2-3 years and their burrito set (burrito w fries) are the best ever. Their flavors are so filling and satisfying. They also don't hold back on the portions! I always go for the chicken but I don't mind the steak filling. The fillings are guacamole, rice, beans, protein, and some veggies. I love soft-cooked foods so I personally love the mushiness texture. We also get the horchata (10/10) and their passion fruit drink (10/10). I discovered cemitas late in life, became intrigued to a perhaps unhealthy degree and dialed it back slightly. Tortas are prominent here, but I'm glad I went the cemita route. The carnitas was enjoyable, but the action-packed combination of cheese, beans, chipotle peppers, avocado and papalo is more important than whichever meat you choose. This is a spicy, intense and hefty sandwich. This isn't in my proverbial backyard but I'll certainly return soon. read more

I hate giving bad reviews but this might be one of the most horrific food experiences I've ever had. 1st, the delivery person demanded a tip and I told him when you order through Uber eats it's doesn't reflect the tip on his receipt but that I can show him it in the app and he was just nasty. 2nd every single thing I ordered was inedible. Mozzarella sticks and plantains were SOAKED in oil, rice had the nice orange color but zero flavor, the avocado on top of the tostada was beyond just a little brown and had a really gross taste, the pork in all the dishes was 99% fat and 1% bland pork, and the beans were almost unseasoned too. 3rd the entire bag it was delivered in was saturated in oil so that was super fun having to clean off my clothes and my counter. 4th, I just updated because I found a thick maybe beard hair in the food. This was a Seamless delivery! I ordered the grilled chicken burrito w/ fries, and a flan because I was really just craving a good flan. El Sancho makes a good burrito, I was genuinely full from even half of it alongside the crispy fries. The flan, which I had high expectations for given how this was my main search, was delicious! Love that everything is freshly made to order while you wait. I didn't wait too long. The beans & rice were good. The two warm tortillas were amazing! The steak was VERY well seasoned! The onions were a bit thick & not fully cooked. They didn't give me any spicy sauces on the side (pico de gallo) . The price is a bit high with tax about $16, but you do get a large portion. My review for this place has been long overdue! This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn so far! They've been open all throughout the pandemic and I have since been ordering atleast once a week from here. I always get the carnitas torta and it comes with a perfect portion of fresh fries. I usually order from here and Never had a problem until now (I placed a $40 order that never arrived) November 10, 2021 I call to place an order the woman who answered the phone said they didn't accept card payments okay no big deal I placed the order through Uber eats, I was waiting over an hour , they kept pushing my delivery time back further I was calling to try and get in contact to know what happened and they couldn't even have the courtesy to answer the phone and even cancelled my order after me waiting an hour+finally after calling several times a guy picks up to tell me some guy went to pick up the food to deliver and I told him I never got the food. So I'm the pickiest person when it comes to Mexican food. I've literally tried almost every place in Brooklyn and Manhattan and this is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the world. Worst experience.!! I called for delivery on Nov Friday 15th 2019 about 7pm. I ordered a quesadilla and chicharrones. The quesadilla is huge so I ordered an extra side red sauce which I specifically told the lady that took the orders! Of course it came with only ONE and was green. So I called back to ask for it. The lady was very rude not only lying but also disrespectful !!she said to me "IF YOU DONT LIKE IT GO ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE" I said if I was to ask for Chinese food and ask for extra sauce the just give it to the customers. I ordered a hamburger deluxe and specifically made sure to tell her after the order was said "no cheese". My order arrives i take a bite and realize there is cheese on the burger.. i called back to inform them that my order is wrong. The lady then asked if i opened the burger.
