The food is consistently so good, and honestly, we love everything on the menu. Yes, it can be a bit pricey, but sometimes you really do have to pay for quality -- and this place is 100% worth it. My family especially loves the kimchi here, but truly, you can't go wrong with anything you order. We come here for family time no matter the season -- when it's cold, when it's hot, anytime we want a good meal together. It's comfortable, reliable, and always hits the spot. If this place ever went out of business, I swear half of Chino Hills would shut down with it. That's how iconic it is.

I don't see her anymore. I can honestly say it is a complete 180 degrees! The service has been wonderful! This is our 3rd time since. Each time the food has been amazing and the service is consistently good to very good. The store is tucked away in a shopping center full of lil stores and restaurants. Parking is okay but there are some days you will need to drive around for a bit. Usually, there is at least a 30-45 minute wait to be seated, but we lucked out this chilly Monday night. Still crowded though! The restaurant is quaint. Nothing spectacular but clean. Seating is not too close to others. The service has been consistently good to very good. Friendly and quick. If you do need additional items, you will need to waive someone down. The food comes out hot and fresh! Seafood tofu: Sizzling hot. Great flavor. Nice amount of umami and spice. Filled with tofu. Wish there were a bit more seafood. At least clams. Galbi: Excellent balance of flavor! Not drenched in sauce and very tender. Would be great if the bed of onions were cooked a bit more! Great condiment with the rice. Japchae: Was a lil overcooked but tastes great. Wished there was more meat. Bibmibap is always a winner. Great texture and fresh tasting. Sauce has a perfect amount of kick and mixture of spice and sweet. Spicy cold noodle odke. Huge! Fresh veggies and the buckwheat noodles were cooked perfectly! Condiments and rice were spot on! So happy we came back.

I've been eating at Seoul Haus for quite some time, but I felt compelled to write an updated review…read morebecause my recent experience was honestly a major letdown. I noticed that the service has become absolutely terrible; the staff didn't even bother to bring out basic essentials like bowls or napkins, making it feel like the restaurant has pivoted to a self-serve model without actually telling anyone. I was also disappointed to see that the menu has changed significantly, and I found the portion sizes to be much smaller than they used to be despite the prices staying high. I'm not sure if the ownership changed recently or what happened behind the scenes, but I can definitely say the quality and experience have gone really downhill since the changes took effect. It's a shame because this used to be a favorite of mine, but after this visit, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

We came on a Saturday afternoon and their service was fast and we were taken care of right away. Prices are reasonable and we were able to share a combo and one grilled meat for a party of three. We got galbi combo with kimchi beef soup and grilled pork belly. Everything was so flavorful and their banchan were delicious and tasted fresh. The meat on the galbi was my favorite part--they were not stingy at all! Will come back when I'm craving a good, hearty, Korean meal.

We ordered the jjajangmyeon, braised spicy beef back ribs, and fried dumplings, and everything hit the mark. We asked for the beef to be made mild, and the heat level was perfect -- still flavorful with just enough kick without overpowering the dish. The server laughed and mentioned it might be too much food for two, but clearly they underestimated our commitment to both dinner and leftovers. The banchan was also a nice touch, and the potatoes and seaweed were standouts for me. Overall, a really satisfying meal with generous portions, solid flavor, and a welcoming neighborhood feel. Definitely a spot we'd return to.

The people that work here are friendly and genuinely nice, So why only three stars? The portion sizes for the same dish vary drastically depending on your visit. I ordered the lunch kalbi ribs special a few weeks back and I was given a generous portion of ribs. I came back last week and was given only four ribs. I was so hungry afterwards, I had to stop off at Taco Bell and get two taco supremes. The same thing happened to my mom. Her seafood portion on the tofu hot pot varied drastically as well on her subsequent visits. Not sure how they are coordinating with their kitchen, but something is amiss. Hopefully they can get this ironed out.
