The pupusas were okay. Decent size but lacked flavor and filling. Curtido is decent as well as the sauce. I also ordered an Hotchata and it tasted like regular Mexican horchata.. I was expecting Salvadoran horchata... not worth it for the 7 dollars. Service was good. The lady in the front is sweet. Ambiance is calm. Another issue is the pricing. The pupusas are not $3, they are $4 and the pricing for the soda is not correct either, they're $2 instead of $1. I had told the lady that she charged me wrong but she said that the prices changed but just haven't updated them. I think that's very inconsiderate... specially if someone is going in with a budget... there are several schools surrounding the area and I can't imagine if a student goes in thinking they have enough and turns out the don't. read more

After living nearby for over a decade, I can't believe that I only discovered this today. Man, pupusas are so delicious and affordable- Im not even latino and fond of these... until today! Waited about 15 minutes. The lady at the counter was kind and patient as I was determining what to order. This place is small and tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. I was met by three friendly women behind the counter when I rolled up to place my order. I ordered 4 pupusas (3 revueltas, 1 queso) to-go and it took about 20 minutes. If you're in a rush, this might not be the place for you because it looked like everything was freshly made-to-order. Pupusas were pretty good and piping hot! The filling wasn't as hefty as I am used to, but the flavors were solid. Would definitely come back! read more

I came here a day after I had visited the VCHOS food truck for pupusas. The food truck charged $10 for TWO pupusas. This place only charges $3.50 each! I initially thought for $3.50 they can't be better than VCHOS, but they ARE!!! I ordered 6 Revueltas to go and they were amazing! The curtido and salsa roja are sooooo good too! You might wait a little bit but it's totally worth it because the food is made fresh to order and HOT! The ladies there are really nice too! They only accept cash or zelle though so be prepared for that. It's a total hole in the wall not visible from main streets, but those are always the BEST places! Now I know where I will spend my time waiting for my car when it's being washed at the Alamo. And I will not be going back to the food truck. Give 'em a try! read more

Found this spot while waiting for my car to get tinted at Rich's Tint Shoppe. So glad I did. You got to try the Revueltas Pupusas, the outside was fried to perfection and as you bite into the filling was so flavorful! I've also tried both asada and pollo burritos that were both savory.
