I love that you can order everything from a tablet instead of waiting around trying to flag down a server. Food comes out super fast every time, which makes the whole experience even better. The different pricing tiers are all pretty reasonable, but I usually stick with the basic option and it still has plenty to choose from, plus great side dishes. We got the $39.99 premium option. The meat option is still quite limited at the price point. Meat quality is just ok especially the kalbi and pork jowl that's just too much fat compared to other kbbq place. The side dishes are tasty, especially the cold noodles and kimchi soup. Service is attentive when we ask to change the grill. They forgot to come back with the side dish when we asked to refill a couple of times though. There's a hair in the water pitcher so we had to ask them to replace one. Ordering is on the tablet. It would time out after you order certain items and you have to wait to order more. It also locks out after 90 minutes for the whole meal. Just realized I didn't even bother to take pictures at this place. It's a no frill kbbq place. Barebones decor. The ventilation system is over every grill, but we still smell like bbq after the meal lol. Right behind the Korean market, If it weren't for the company of my friends I would have rated this place a bit lower. Staff is pretty friendly, the work flow is very streamlined order through the iPad request small things from the iPad (chopsticks forks extra plates sauce etc) The meat came out pretty fast, and tasted really good too. Some of the issues were the floor SUPER greasy/oily. yes I know classic kbbq has oily floors it's a standard to a good kbbq, it just seemed VERY slippery. One of orders of the pork steak came out we cooked it and it tasted sour like the meat had gone bad. The restroom was a bit messy, my friend who went before we sat down said it was messy. Seoul BBQ is a solid Korean BBQ restaurant and gets 3.5 stars for me. There was no wait on a Wednesday night and a perfect spot for students. We went as a party of 8 and the seats were a little tight, but tolerable. They also had a small side table at one end for the uncooked meats so it was a little annoying to continuously ask our friends to pass the meats over to the other end of the table to cook. During busier nights I know it would be nicer to have a little more space and a table closer to where they handed us the uncooked meat. I personally prefer marinated meats and fattier meats so the A menu had a good selection. The bulgogi and regular beef belly were delicious and we got multiple helpings. My friends also quite enjoyed the food here and we general vist every so often. We also especially like the corn cheese and banchan here. I personally did not like some of the sides like the orange chicken as it tasted not fresh. The tofu soup was also a weird flavor that did not taste like a regular tofu soup and more like flavored spicy water, not a fan. Seoul BBQ is one our of regular AYCE KBBQ spots. One of the main reasons we come is the affordable pricing. The lowest price is $29.99 for the menu A option. The wait times can vary from 1 hour or less. The location is smaller compared to other KBBQ spots, however that's not an issue if you have a bigger party. Menu A is the go to option for us. My favorite options are the brisket, beef belly and the flying tiger beef belly. My favorite side is the steamed egg. As for banchan I enjoy the bean sprouts, glass noodles and the radish paper. The waiters here work hard and I have had no major complaints. My husband and I have come here for the past 2 years and seen how much it's grown. I was craving beef tongue today, so I came here to satisfy my craving lol. It's been a minute since I last visited! They had a sign at the door saying there's a minimum of two people, and it looks like they upgraded to a digital menu/ordering system. The menu even has a timer that shows how much time you have left to order. The only downside for me was near the end...I didn't order as much meat at first because I wanted to make sure we could finish it all, but then there was a cooldown timer before I could order again. The selection and non-marinated meats were very good, and combined with the excellent service, this place is deserving of 4 stars. However, the marinated meats were extremely sweet to the point of being unenjoyable. The LA galbi in particular tasted more like a meat dessert than a savory Korean BBQ dish, which doesn't align with a traditional Korean flavor profile. Unfortunately, because the premium marinated cuts didn't live up to expectations, I don't see myself returning -- but those who prefer sweeter marinades may feel differently. read more

So the best value AYCE KBBQ is the $29.99 combo. Comes with a lot of good pork and beef cuts all around, and you get other side dish choices, too. We ordered the Popcorn Chicken (a definite winner in our books btw!), the Flying Tiger beef (best-tasting marinated meat), along with the Spicy Beef. All meats were super fresh and delicious once grilled. We were pretty darn full after. Staff are attentive, but very chill atmosphere here. They do have a 90-minute limit per table, so that's all the time you can sit around and stuff your face. Parking is a smaller lot, but parking should be okay to find depending when you stop in. This is now our go to KBBQ spot. The quality of meat here is excellent. Not a single miss so far and we've tried their tier lists. The selection to choose from is quite generous and each one tastes just as good. The side dishes are excellent too and everything tastes fresh. We love the kimchi and fish cakes here. As for their Flying Tiger, it's our go to order. It's simple yet so juicy. It's so easy to eat and you really do get your moneys worth. The service here is excellent too. Whether you're here for lunch or dinner, it's always stellar. Everyone is attentive. Even when they only have one server, it's still excellent service. They've been consistent which is why we keep coming back. The ambiance here is okay. It feels like a hole in the wall, which it is. For that reason, we like it. The ambience is pretty quiet considering it's a barbecue place. The area that they need to improve on is more of the decor and the overall feel of the restaurant. I'm glad to see that recently they've implemented tablets to order meats, sides and drinks too! I know in the past they've struggled like other KBBQ restaurants with tracking orders so sometimes you'll be missing a meat or two that you asked for maybe 15min ago. Staff is attentive and nice as well. (Shoutout to Isaiah for taking care of me and my party) Meat is good quality given the price (Menu B is the most ideal but A is sufficient for probably most people who want the basics). I like this spot because it's smaller compared to most KBBQ places that are huge and just blast music and make it hard to talk with people at the table. The seating is spacious, and when we went, it wasn't crowded at all--we were seated right away. We had Jeong Won as our server, and she was amazing. She was quick, kind, and extremely attentive. It can be hard to get great service at KBBQ places, so this really stood out. The ordering process has changed since my first visit. You now order through a tablet, with about four meat orders per round. There's a short timer before placing your next order, but it's only a couple of minutes. The tablet also shows how much time you have left, since there's a 90-minute limit per table, which I appreciated. We went with the B menu, which was about $40 per person. We ordered the brisket, beef belly, galbi, marinated rib finger, steamed egg, tofu soup, and large intestines. Everything was solid and flavorful. The tofu soup was a bit too spicy for my taste, but the flavor itself was still really good. Service staff are very hardworking and caring. The two times my family has gone we only see two servers taking care of all the tables. Granted there's not many, perhaps around 8 tables but that's still a lot for two employees. They do their absolute best and are so sweet. This is a hidden spot worth trying. Came down to socal for the weekend from the Bay Area and found this place on yelp in Diamond Bar. We chose the course A menu which was honestly perfect since the group of friends I went with just wanted to fulfill our basic kbbq cravings. But if I were to choose anything on the menu--the large intestines!! The large intestines were SO YUMMY!!! We also were looking forward to the AYCD soju/beer but they unfortunately don't do that anymore. But they still had the OG korean soju and beer (my favorite Saero soju & Terra beer). Service was super quick and it was easy to order since you can do it on your own on the ipad which I love! Would definitely come back here next time I am back in socal. read more

The meat quality here is pretty good. The restaurant itself is nice and spacious with good amount of large tables. I could see how it could get really packed and busy though as they don't have a lot of tables. Upon checking in to their waitlist on a Friday night, we got seated in about 10 minutes. They have 3 options for AYCE KBBQ: MENU A: $26.99 MENU B: $35.99 MENU C: $49.99 Their Menu A is definitely really good for classic favorites like beef brisket, pork belly, sliced teriyaki pork belly, and flying Tiger beef belly. I loveee their sliced fresh garlic, steamed egg, salad, and sides like pickled cucumbers, radish, spicy fish cake, potato salad, and kimchi. I always have to get their kimchi lunch box and corn cheese too. They have a button at each table to press if you need a server which were all very fast in getting me more sides, orders, or changing the grill. After our favorite Kbbq closed, we've been looking for a replacement. This place might fit the bill. Not a big location, but wasn't too busy when we went in for dinner at 5:30. Servers are friendly and efficient. Empty dishes removed quickly and new orders are brought in a timely manner. We did the lowest menu at $26 and it had a good selection of meats and side items. One thing I love about this place than other places is that there's usually no wait time whenever I come here. They have a little ringer at the tables so that the server knows to come to you which I thought was very convenient. One of those "cheap" AYCE kbbq places. Matches in price with things like Gen and RH. It's still like $30 tho which ain't cheap by any means. I'm still a big AYCE hater and would prefer to go to a non-AYCE place but I gotta give credit where credit is due. For a cheap AYCE their banchan was nice. They had spicy fishcake which a lot of more expensive places don't even have anymore. And the service was nice and friendly. The meats were really whatever. We sat down and ordered what had ONLY been our second round of sides, the server with a black hat on didn't even let us finish ordering when he said, "anything else? Anything else?" But in a rude manner. I would've not taken this to heart but he was so nice with a couple sitting next to me and my bf. He dint come in to check on us until he saw that we felt a certain way about it. We didn't feel comfortable enough to order anything after that, which sucks because you come to eat and enjoy your time and food, and the server himself made us feel unwelcome and like we were bothering him. All we wanted was a refill on sides. Then it felt like he just wanted to mock us because he came and asked if we wanted anything, we asked for more kimchi and he never came to give it to us. If you're looking to eat KBBQ without having to break the bank, Seoul BBQ is an option. You get what you pay for though. The quality of the meats is just okay, as is the service. We had to wait for a while, and we were finally seated on the side by the kitchen, which didn't have vents. The staff wasn't very friendly, and when they brought out the food, they just shoved it onto the table. The table was small without a lot of space. One guy literally put a plate of raw meat on top of my hand and spilled meat juice on my arm, then walked away without saying anything. Even though we were right next to the kitchen and hence, the staff, they never checked on us, and we still had to flag them down every time we needed something. Came here to celebrate my birthday yesterday with family and let me tell you.. this place just ranked to one of my top favorite KBBQ spots! Food: 10/10 Banchan tasted so fresh and the server would always refill it every time we ran out as my family loves it! The meat quality tasted amazing and there was so much meat to choose from. Family favorite was the spicy beef belly and their marinated bulgogi. Service: 12/10. There was only one server who was at the front, taking our order, and serving us and he was amazing!! He never forgot if we had ordered something and he would ALWAYS check on us to see if we needed anything. He was literally a superman in service!!
