Cheese corn

This place is so cool. There was a little waiting but inside was packed, obviously it was a Friday evening. I went there at before 7pm, trying to avoid the crowd. When we got in there's olden decorations with pictures and seats and chairs in wood. Cool vibes right? The food was mostly towards the spicy side, I had to keep drinking iced water lol. We ordered a mixed of beef, lamb, octopus and shrimp skewers and chicken wings, all came in with mild to medium spiciness , including the cucumber salad. We also ordered steamed scallops and oyster and cheesy corn. These were not spicy, luckily For those spicy enthusiasts you should come n check it out ~! We enjoyed it with our Soju and hot tea. We also ordered dessert but forgot what it was but tasted delicious. We came out with full stomach ~~ yummy for your tummy

Pro tip: make a reservation. The wait can get long. We didn't know and ended up waiting about an hour and a half for a table of three. Service was just okay--not particularly friendly or attentive, but nothing terrible either. They got the job done. The food is where this place shines. The skewers were really tasty, and I liked that you could choose your spice level. Everything comes out piping hot, so be careful, but it tasted fresh and well-prepared. The space is cozy and has a more intimate vibe, which I liked. Overall, I'd come back--just with a reservation next time.

I've heard good things about this place and it does live up the the hype. it got busy on a random weekday but there's a waitlist. Food was so good ! and service was quick like they're use to turning over tables. And the food was reasonably priced. Great place to go grab a drink or eat soup on a cold day

Great food with super good atmosphere and fast service. You order on an ipad and the staff take care of the rest. I got the osmanthus wine this time and it was perfect with the food. And the tornado potato is the absolute best

Many seats for waiting. Uses chowbus and text for waiting list. Waiting times could be up to an hour from our experience. Skewers were good and had enough seasoning and pairs perfectly with a couple of drinks. Love how this can be a dinner spot after work to chill and hang with friends. They also have live music occasionally and/or music playing from the small stage they have. Noticed they have small private rooms for groups bigger than 4 near the entrance as well.

Always a great and yummy experience at Little Skewers, this one seems to be a lot less crowded than the ones in the SGV area. The golden soup hotpot is good (love the sourness to the soup btw and they will refill the soup at your request).. the grilled scallop is good.. chicken skin skewer is BOMB, also recommend you get the classics like beef and lamb. You gotta get the cheese corn as well. Highly recommend coming here. Nice serving size for the cucumber salad as well (unlike Din Tai Fung, but just as good if not better) for your fiber needs. It's also known for drinking if that's your thing, which the skewers compliment very well. Imagine having a beer with a side of chicken skin skewers.. yum. Well you don't have to imagine if you just come here and see for yourself :D Cheers!

Service was mid but the skewers were tasty and a pretty good deal for the price. They are called Little Skewers for a reason and now I really understand why. They also had way more side dishes than actual meat options, which is great if that is what you want, but I really wish they had more options for skewers!

Went to the one in Hacienda Heights, loved it so much and was glad to have found a sister restaurant in Diamond Bar. This review is for the one in Diamond Bar. Wow, this one is much better looking than the one in Hacienda Heights. Feels like you walk into a Chinese restaurant you see from Kung Fu movies. The decor is breath taking. Loved the decors. You order the foods from their iPad tablet. Ordering is very simple, see what you like, just add to your order. Suggestion, do not order everything at once, order a few items, submit it. They will bring them out shortly. Once you are about done with the current foods, order more items, this way, your foods come out fresh and hot. If you order everything at once, the foods will sit there and gets cold. The warmer thing doesn't keep the food hot. I like my water cold. The water from the kettle is not cold at all. Ask them to add ice if you prefer your water cold. We ordered the followings: - Tornado Potato (so good, one of our favorites here) - Butter Pancake (it was ok, kinda bland) - Grilled Egg Crepe (didn't like it so much) - Steaky Lamb (very good) - Premium Marbled Beef Skewers (oh, so tasty and yummy, another favorite) - Beef Aorta (was interesting, didn't know it was artery, not bad though) - Lamb Skewers (this was really good, it came with 20 skewers) Oh, forgot to mention, when we were there, we saw they had a Karaoke area. That was interesting. Not sure if you just go up and start singing or you have to order it from the iPad tablet. Not sure if it's a daily thing, or only on Friday, or on weekends. Will definitely be back to try different skewers. PS. Besides the skewers, they also have hot pots and lots of alcohols.

Corn cheese and enoki mushrooms

Great drinking spot. I love that they sell skewers in sets of 10--makes it really easy to share and try a variety of dishes (family style). They also have similar group offerings for drinks (tea, which they sell by the pot, and alcohol mostly). I found the experience unique, fun, and memorable. The decor inside is also very Chinese and quaint. Service was fast and courteous. Regarding the food, my favorite was the oyster mushroom. The corn cheese and enoki mushrooms were a bit salty, and tofu skin was a bit plain. They use the same seasonings for all the skewers so as long as you like it, you're in for a treat.

Came here for an early dinner at 5:30pm, it does get pretty full towards 6pm! The restaurant is a tad small, but the interior and decor here takes you to another world. Can be very lively later in the night. We ordered a variety of things, lamb, beef skewers, sliced cucumbers, squid, ma la tang pot, and golden pot. Honestly the overall meal was okay, but the most annoying part were the beef skewers. The beef portions were very small, and they stick to the skewer stick. You really have to pull sooo hard for it to come off. I just gave up eating the beef skewers cause they were too annoying for me lol. The lamb seemed to be fine. The cucumbers were nice and fresh. The ma la tang wasn't spicy, but wasn't really anything special. I did like the golden soup more because it had a nice contrast. It's more sour(?) too in a good way. Overall, some items were a hit and miss. The interior sticks to the theme; however the chairs are kinda uncomfortable cause they're so hard lol. Also they're kind of sticky. We only came 30 mins after opening, and the chairs don't feel that great. Service was average. At least food came in a timely manner.

been here a few times & i gotta say this location is much better than hacienda overall skewers r placed over a warming plate when they arrive @our table ~ my fav is their chinese cauliflower dark stinkin tofu is also yumz when served hot cucumbers have a good taste but i feel they can b marinated bit longer everybody besides myself tried & liked their pork & leek dumplings ~ i personally dont eat leek so i didnt try they serve beers by da pint or pitcher + they have large bottles of sake or other types of shots i like da decor/ambience of this place ~ wished they were open during lunch, like their other locations

An amazing belated bday lunch with my friend. Everything is cooked in the kitchen and brought out to you. We enjoyed: - Jasmine tea - Surf clams (served chilled in a gyojah / mustart sauce) - Squid legs (Excellent) - Lychee Fish balls (SO DELISH) - Cucumber salad (The Best in SoCal!!!) - Enoki mushrooms in garlic, butter, a hint of vinegar - Grilled HUGE oyster (2); each oyster was cooked to perfection and so big, mine took 4-5 bites to eat - Vermicelli noodles (we added the left over sauce from the surf clams) - Pork / Chive / Shrimp boiled dumplings with a vinegar/sweet dipping sauce Some items were meh or pretty bad: - Fatty beef skewers (too tough to eat, do not order) - Scallop with vermicelli (scallop was too tiny) Lunch for two came out to about $100 + tax and tip. You will leave full. Service was pretty solid. The decor is really amazing like an old time Chinese neighborhood bar. I really wanna go back for the cucumber salad, surf clams and the baked oysters!

Be hungry but also be ready to wait... Little skewer offers authentic Chinese bbq style Xi'an or maybe Shaokao (I'm guessing pardon me if I'm wrong but this is what it reminds me of from being a kid growing up around amazing Asian cuisine). No matter what you get I feel every table should have the cucumbers at the table. I really enjoy this local gem... Before finding this place I would drive all the way to Monterey Park for my bbq. Lastly, be ready to use someone's phone at the table to order because that is how orders are placed it's efficient but very much like Amazon... Easy to over order.

I love that you can order everything from a tablet instead of waiting around trying to flag down a server. Food comes out super fast every time, which makes the whole experience even better. The different pricing tiers are all pretty reasonable, but I usually stick with the basic option and it still has plenty to choose from, plus great side dishes. Nothing too fancy about the ambiance, it's just a solid, no frills spot to grab a good meal, which honestly works perfectly here. Definitely one of my go to KBBQ spots.

Service is attentive when we ask to change the grill. They forgot to come back with the side dish when we asked to refill a couple of times though. There's a hair in the water pitcher so we had to ask them to replace one. Ordering is on the tablet. It would time out after you order certain items and you have to wait to order more. It also locks out after 90 minutes for the whole meal. Just realized I didn't even bother to take pictures at this place. It's a no frill kbbq place. Barebones decor. The ventilation system is over every grill, but we still smell like bbq after the meal lol. It's cheaper than other premium kbbq place so if you don't want to spend as much and don't care about the quality for this meal, Seoul bbq fits the bill and get the job done.

My gf & I ordered the C1(Gangnam Couple) for $69 which I thought was pretty awesome in my head. (HEY, a pre-made combo of their best selection they have to offer, why the fuk not!). Soo starting off with the small sides, some of the side seemed to have spoiled. In photo 3, cucumber/pickled dish, DEFINITELY was not pickled, was more on the sweet/savory side. Bottom left, that one had a pickled taste & some OTHER hidden taste ... decided to bring it up close for a whiff... and yeah, smelled spoiled/old. Last but not least, Egg volcano ! ! It was GREY/GREEN, the WHOLE thing underneath, was hidden with a NEWER egg on top ! !... WUT The meats, were koo, quality was a -B, leaving it as that. Oh, service was koo, came on a Wednesday (yesterday). The place was not poppin at the time. It was just my Gf & I and, another lady who was already seated when we walked in. This place has a decent amount of room inside. Uhh, if it improves in its quality & care for the food. I'd return. If not, good luck..

I normally don't leave negative reviews, but this experience felt worth mentioning. We came in on 4/19 around 1:30 PM and were greeted by the hostess, whose name I believe was Lucy or Lucky. Short Asian girl with heavy makeup. Unfortunately, her demeanor was noticeably unwelcoming from the moment we walked in. She seemed irritated to assist us, was very cold while taking our name, and appeared visibly annoyed when my mom asked a couple of simple questions. It created an uncomfortable first impression, which was disappointing given the positive experiences we've had here before. Front desk interactions set the tone for the entire visit. TL;DR version: Visited on a Saturday about noon. Establishment is has very nice decor. The Premium menu selection is pricey but worth the money. Place is spacious, service is attentive, and has been deemed my new current fav KBBQ restaurant. Detailed version: Conveniently located off of Colima. lol (joking cause everything is off of Colima) But Thirsty Cow is surrounded by a lot of shops that have my interest. Costco, Costco Gas, Round1, other food spots, Frank and Sons...Target! Everything is around here. We've got done with our shopping and fun stuff and it was time for lunch. I thought I would be interesting to try out a new KKBQ spot. None of us have been and it was going to be a nice experience for everyone. Visited on a Saturday about noon Entering the establishment is a fairly large area greeted by a large logo of the restaurant and a bunch of soju bottles. To the right was a nice looking bar with some TVs and the way to the restroom. The waiting area had cold / hot water and popcorn which was nice. The rest of the restaurant was equally nice and very spacious. Party of 4 sat us in a booth with plenty of room for wiggling or possibly laying down. I always want to try the premium section of the menu. Decided to pay for lunch so we pretty much tried everything on the premium section. Our favorites were the Wagyu Delmonico Steak and the Thirsty Cow Black Angus Woodae Galbi. We were so impressed with the Premium selection that we forgot about the everything below it. Luckily there was a part 2 and during our second visit we were able to add some of the selection from the Choice portion into our meals. I think although Choice has some of my favs, the Premium section is where I will be eating during my visits. We did notice there were different types of salt provided and wanted to try them. The nieces loved the Rosemary Italian Black truffle seat salt. Lastly, I usually don't have room for dessert or care for it but since I am way too deep, might as well. Visiting Thirsty Cow has introduced me and the nieces to Melona bars and we've been hooked. Good job!! Parking: large private lot VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

I couldn't even hear the person across from me that I came with to eat dinner nor could I hear the server either. The restaurant was so excruciatingly loud that it genuinely caused bad ear pain and a headache so we left before ordering anything else besides water. Completely ruined the entire experience. And for reference I don't have any hearing problems and I'm in my 20s, so if I can't hear what the person directly next to me is saying then there's a problem here. It was so crowded and full of loud drunk people. Incredibly overwhelming. This place needs better max capacity laws in place or if they actually have them they're definitely not following them here. Also the inside set up is like a labyrinth. It's a confusing half open concept to the outside, half inside, and all very overstimulating. None of the staff seemed concerned at all with the hundreds of people overfilling the restaurant loudly speaking/yelling. This is unacceptable to be honest. I just wanted to come here to have a nice dinner after a long day at work and I couldn't. Beware of the noise especially if you have children or older people in your party; we didn't have either but I can't imagine how they'd feel in this chaotic environment. Btw, sitting outside won't change or help this fact either as it was also extremely overcrowded and nearly just as loud as well. 1/5 stars. Please manage your capacity better because it's driving customers away. This is supposed to be a nice restaurant not a club.
