Revisited for my birthday & everything was great still. Food came out extremely quickly, language barrier wasn't an issue at all, I just pointed at the menu photos. Gratuity has an automatic 15% added but they allow you to adjust it if it feels needed. Overall a great experience & we'll be back. :)

This will be my first and last time to this place. I believe I have been here once before but it may have been under another management. First of all the workers seem to all wear the same latex disposable blue gloves to handle everything, from bringing food out , to cleaning. The two staff seemed to be nice but it took a while for us to get service. Seems like they were vacuuming or busy refilling other things. The cold plate they had was decent, and they had a sauce bar where you can get soup if you dine in. We ordered a soup that seems to only be enough for 4 people. The biggest disappointment was the shumai. They actually look huge and good but you can tell they were frozen. I should have known as I took my first bite, there was raw pork inside. They took back the steamer and tried to heat it up again. I thought they would have just made a new batch. After steaming it again, I took another bite and again the pork was still raw in the middle. You cannot consume raw pork. They eventually changed the dish but only after trying to explain that it wasn't raw and that it was just that color. I know what raw pork looks like, and when I took the two bites, they are not supposed to be soft and cold. I didn't want to start my first review of the year like this, but I had a stomach ache and did not feel well the next day. I'm glad I did not have to go to urgent care. I hope they figure out a way to do their business.

It was a bit dry since it's fried but it's still edible to everyone's taste. We'll try the other lambs to taste the difference of it.

Came here to celebrate today's festivity. This place has good seating. Can hold a party of 100+ people. Our server is friendly and helpful. Has a bit of language barrier but we figure out how to communicate with visual tech. Now the food is great. Check my review for each order. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Eggplant is really, really good. The homemade pies are juicy and have plenty of meat inside. The lamb broth with seasoning is warming on a cold day. Friendly service, nice modern ambiance but keeps to traditional Mongolia vibe. My only gripe is the steamed lamb ribs had a lot of fat / more fat than meat on the bone.

First time coming here and I tried to order over the phone, but their English wasn't the best, so I decided to come in to order instead. I recommend doing this so you can point to what you want to ensure you order the correct items. Inside was very clean and wasn't noisy at all, which was great. After I placed my To-Go order, they said it would be about 10mins and they were SO spot on. It took 9 minutes to get my food! I ordered the Mongolian Pie and the Cumin Lamb and both were so delicious!

Eating Mongolian food in Rowland Heights for the first time. This place has a very home-like feel. Came here for dinner with a party of three, and we ordered a lot of food. The appetizer vegetables were delicious I love the shredded potatoes and cucumbers. We ordered the hot pot with lamb and also the deep-fried lamb with spice. The lamb dishes are so delicious I know a lot of people aren't fans of eating lamb. But this was delicious. Service was friendly and lively. If you ever want to try Mongolian cuisine and give it a shot you won't be disappointed with this spot.

Good food - not too salty. Good service - waitress was friendly. Nice and clean place.

I'm not too familiar with Mongolian cuisine, but the food here is amazing. We ordered a few dishes to share as a group, and they were all so good. The grilled lamb ribs were perfectly seasoned, tender, and some of the best Asian style lamb ribs I've had. The stewed lamb sauce was also perfectly rich and salty, and the meat in the stew was tender as well. The veggies and meat pie were also good, and other people I was with actually loved the meat pies. They offer free soup with your meal, and the staff offered us free salty milk tea as well. Overall, I was impressed by the experience and would definitely come back!

We stopped by on a friend's recommendation and really didn't regret our choice. We got the golden fish soup, roasted lamb ribs, and the Mongolian meat pie. The food was flavorful, and we loved that there was unlimited free soup and a sauce bar. The interior was cute, and the prices were reasonable as the portions were pretty large, and the servers were pretty responsive when we had questions. We'll for sure be going back to try more dishes!

This is a good Mongolian Restaurant. It's pretty packed. As soon as you walked in, you were offered the choice of Mongolian Milk Tea or Yogurt to drink, as a sample of course. My party and I have one each and share. I like the milk tea, which is perfectly salted. Ordered three items and the waitress says it is enough for both of us. We had left over to take home. We ordered "Three Items Cold dish" as an appetizer, Mongolian Pancake (Beef Patty inside), and also the Fish and Lamb Soup. I will have to return to the actual lamb dishes It is worth.

The server was super nice and helpful in guiding our order. We were going to order four dishes for two and she let us know that that would be way too much food. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Saturday and were seated right away and offered the complimentary milk tea (salty) or yogurt. Signs let you know that a service charge is included and tip not expected. Interior seems new and is clean and modern. Plenty of space for large parties of six or more. The lamb shumai taste more like lamb versions of xiao long bao-- juicy and bursting with broth. Eat them while they're hot (before the broth congeals)! We like the paper thin wrapper which seems to be made from a different type of dough. The filling flavor is similar to the filling in the Mongolian pie. The grilled version of the lamb is definitely the healthier version and taste, but every table seems to get the Mongolian spiced desert-style (which seems to come with fries), so we'll be back to try that. This place is in a retail complex so expect lots of competition for parking even for a big lot.

Came here for lunch with coworkers. Service was exceptional. The interior is much nicer than outside. I think this restaurant is overlooked compared to the other available places in that plaza. This is definitely a place to check out. We ordered a couple of lamb dishes. I'm not used to eating mainly lamb so it was a bit out of the norm for me but everything tasted great. I would come back here with other friends! It's a great find.

Although there was only one lady working in the front, she actually was able to run everything(taking the orders, clean the tables, packing the food and refill essentials/food) very well. On top of it, super high positive energy when greeting the customers. One of the main reasons this place reserved the 5-stars reviews. Place is clean and was label. After you placed and paid for the order, just simplely find a table, kitchen will bring the order to you, and you can start serving yourself with 4 great selection of congees (personally 八宝粥 and 小米粥 were my favorites), plus soy milk. I didn't try the side dishes this time. Surely will come back to try it out next time. They have sugar and salt on the side, so you can add according to your own taste. Neither congee nor soy was salted/sweetened, so if you prefer more flavor, definely grab a seasoning dish, and load up the sugars to your likes. They don't have cold soy milk, and don't sell fried donut(油条). That's the only complains I got. Overall, a great breakfast/lunch place.

They specialize in freshly steamed buns (baozi) and feature an all-you-can-eat congee bar. The lady working there speaks Mandarin; she asked if it was my first time, and I told her it was. For just $3, you get unlimited soup and congee with four different varieties to choose from. For an extra $2.50, you get unlimited refills from a selection of four cold side dishes. They also offer à la carte steamed baos, wontons, and dumplings for dine-in or takeout. I didn't have much of an appetite today, so I skipped the buns and just ordered the congee and appetizers. My bill came out to only $5.50 plus tax, which is ridiculously cheap! For the congee, the options were Century Egg & Lean Pork, Eight Treasure, Millet, and Hulatang (Spicy Pepper Soup). I tried the Century Egg & Lean Pork congee, but the texture was a bit watery, and the flavor was somewhat bland. The Hulatang (hot pepper soup) was a little too thick and jelly-like. While the Millet congee was also on the bland side, I actually really enjoyed the texture. I skipped the Eight Treasure congee this time. Honestly, at $3 for all-you-can-eat congee, it sounds too good to be true, so I didn't have high expectations for the quality. However, I really liked the cold side dishes bar! They had all my favorites, including Liángbàn Tǔdòusī (shredded potato salad), shredded wood ear mushroom salad, and spicy cucumber salad. I will definitely go back next time to try their dumplings, wontons, and baozi.

We got French-style filet mignon ($18.99), braised tofu in brown sauce ($14.99), chicken chow mein ($14.99), and a steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork ($5.99). A pot of rice was included in our meal. The steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork was a nice appetizer that arrived first. I enjoyed how the French-style filet mignon was garnished with Thai basil, black pepper, and ginger. The meat was flavorful and tender. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included.
