Well, you can add my five star rating to the collection. This is a really small cafe. A few tables. A couple outside. The food is excellent. I had the roast beef on herb bun and the red potato salad. The roast beef was really tasty. I substituted cheddar for the provolone. The remoulade sauce was the perfect accent. The potato salad was as good as mine -- that's a serious compliment because mine is fantastic. My companion had the buffalo wrap and pasta salad. There wasn't a crumb left. The coffee comes in huge cups. Each is unique. We had the old fashioned regular stuff. Beats Starbucks on every level. Some day I will try one of the fancy ones. The variety is mind boggling. I picked up some brownies to take home. I should have bought more. We inhaled them in about two minutes. Small brownies, big flavor. The service was a bit erratic. That sort of made it 4.5 stars, but I rounded up. They were pretty busy. Definitely plan on revisiting. read more

The restaurant has good food but they serve their coffee in carafes which do not keep the temperature hot at best it is a touch warmer than lukewarm. Really like their breakfast burito. read more

I did an online order, which was super easy & convenient. I got the Bus Driver...yum! I liked that I could choose the type of bread, marble rye hit the spot. Found this gem on here. Its hard to decide what to pick when I go. The hot italian with side of crispy home fries or the smotherload which is their home fries covered in cheese, jalapenos, bacon and onions. It comes with their homeade ranch which is delicious! This place is da bomb! Best homemade breakfast food I've had in a while. And they STILL carry peanut butter! So if your like me and like peanut butter and syrup on your waffles or pancakes go here. It's sad because of all the peanut allergies out there most chain breakfast places have totally just stopped carrying peanut butter also their lattes are to die for! And the cozy homey atmosphere is so nice. And the service is always friendly! Cannot say enough good things about this place! read more

A national treasure as far as I'm concerned. We were staying in an AirBnB in the area and dreading another chain breakfast when we found Tags. Seriously, if you were visiting another country and came across a place like this, you'd tell all your friends about it. The food was great, the people were friendly and you didn't eat at some corporate mass produced middle of the road kind of place. My family of six sat down... there was a kids birthday party going on next to us and a line out the door. The staff (family or friends?) were great. They clearly do not know how awesome they are, or they just don't act like it. Keep doing what you're doing guys. You're punk rock. read more

I came here with my Mom for lunch to celebrate my birthday. She went for breakfast while I went for lunch and I was not disappointed. I had a lunch combo of cup of soup and salad - the tomato dill soup was good, but not like mine as I use a little more dill. I had the buffalo chicken salad which was pretty good; however, the bowl was a little small and I had a hard time cutting up the chicken breast with the knife. It was a very nice little café the food was very good but the service was slow. We waited for 20 minutes just to get our drink order. It took about 10 minutes to just get the drinks to our table after we ordered. A couple that walked in after us was served right away and the workers were dancing while we needed our check. Tag's Cafe is the kind of place you'd expect find in old town Milford or Montgomery, not a tiny suburban strip mall. However, it's a perfect addition to the otherwise bleak food scene in Colerain Township (think chain restaurants, bar food, and pizza). Tag's serves up typical cafe fare and coffee drinks, and they do a solid job of it. No matter what I order, I always get a cup of tomato dill soup to go with it. It's a hug in a bowl! The women that work there are the real gem of the place. They do the cooking, the serving, and the chatting with the many regulars. This is my go to place for delicious homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. Today I had the Meltdown. It was stuffed with grilled chicken and bacon, Asiago and mozzarella cheese. This sandwich was so big I couldn't finish it. I also had a cup of Kickin Chicken soup which I would describe as a chicken chili. They have really good coffee, fresh baked goods, great homemade soups of the day, and a nice menu with variety but not too many options. The food is great. I walked in and sat at a booth. After ten minutes, I had to ask someone to take my order. When one of the servers brought my order, she set the food down and walked away. She didn't ask if Id like a refill or anything else. No server ever came to do a check back. I had to get up and ask someone for a refill on my drink. While this was going on, the servers had time to chit chat and clean in Preparation for closing tone. If you're going to be a server, you should take care of the customer, not ignore them. read more
