I'll start out with a positive. Best cappuccino I've had in a long time! My husband and I stopped in today for the first time after driving by this place and seeing the positive reviews. We waited about 10 minutes for a table and then ordered cappuccinos. The coffees came out very quick and we're SO GOOD. We both ordered eggs, potatoes, breakfast meat, and a biscuit. Then, we added on a side of gravy. I'm not sure if our plates sat for awhile or what happened but everything except the potatoes was cold, and they forgot our gravy. We tried to wait for the server to come back, but it took awhile for them to check on us and then even longer to get our side of gravy (we ended up asking again for it when she checked on us a second time). We were starving so we ate our cold food since she didn't come back to check for awhile.... which would have tasted amazing had it been hot. I may come back for coffee, but I'll get my food somewhere else or do take out so I can heat it back up at home.

Kids waffle a - a fucking battery in the waffle !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never been so angry in my entire life. I'm not sure if this was done on purpose or what. I believe this restaurant must have an issue with colored people. I cannot imagine they missed this and it was not intentional!!!! You put this kind of waffle in a waffle maker so I know this was done intentionally. A battery was put into my 3 year old daughter's waffle.

This adorable, unassuming Cafe is worth the trip! They offer a pretty large menu, both breakfast and lunch with a wide variety. Plus. The specials are wonderful and the drink menu rivals any commercial place. Take time, sit outside and enjoy the weather. Wait staff is super friendly and the kitchen is fast. You're sure to find something you'll enjoy and something to come back for next time

Can it get any better?!!!! Ohhhhhhh yeah! I returned for more of the culinary excitement that Tags shows off quite well!! You are dubbed one of my favorite go to restaurant in Cincinnati! So I found my way back to visit and this time brought my lovely daughter, who also couldn't stop talking about her experience!! My daughter had the Italian hot sandwich. She really didn't care to much for it. Of course I had to try it and agreed with her opinion. It just need more balance to it, like adding hot capicola ham, maybe mild banana peppers, or mildly sweet jalapeño peppers. Otherwise, just call it a fancy ham sandwich. Now we both had the beefy Mushroom soup!! We both could have licked our bowls clean!!! Was definitely a winner! I selected to Reuben sandwich, which was ridiculously delicious! As we were finishing up, a curious gentleman stopped at our table to ask if we enjoyed the soup. We gave him our verdict and as we were leaving he made an appoint to tell us he had got the beefy mushroom soup to go!!! Oh! I said, " You won't be disappointed in the least!" Tags your food is delightfully delicious! Keep up the culinary excellence!! Your doing a fantastic job!

My wife had been here once before but suggested I try it. Nice decision! This place is sooo good. Our waitress, Summer was on the spot and just as cheerful as could be. Food! Great selection of breakfast and lunch options. They close at 3, so, no dinner stuff. I asked summer which would she suggest, "the Butcher" American cheese and Goetta grilled your choice of bread, or the "Moe-Joe", grilled chicken, salami, pepperoni and provolone on a herb roll with herb mayo. She said she preferred the gotta, but that the Moe-joe was delicious , too. Since I had only ever tried Goetta once before in all y time in Cincinnati, I thought I'd go for it. Right choice for a lunch bite! Came with a bag of chips. Sandwich was big, not too big, but not some dinky thing. Taste was spot on! Definitely tasted lies American cheese, not the usual "cheese food product", but I may be wrong. But tasted great. Wife had a salad and a cup of some sort of Tomato Dill soup. Homemade and NOT at all like the plain stuff you find in a can or some restaurants. I do not like the usual tomato soup, however, I did like this! She thought it was really good, too. For dessert (departure, as it was close to closing time and we didn't make anyone hang around longe then needed) I had a Smoothie type drink called a Cocoa Beach. It chocolate, coffee, more chocolate and chocolate chunks in it. Oh my, it was a cold day but THIS has to be my new fav for ANY time drinks! Anyhow, if you're in the Colerain area, you really need to stop in at Tag's Cafe and try something. We've had some friends that have been there and they all say the same thing, IT'S ALL GOOD!! You be glad you did!

Such a cute little place! My boss invited me to lunch and she chose Tag's! I was surprised how busy it was for a weekday at lunchtime. The staff were friendly and quick to clear off a table for us even though we could tell they were super busy. The food came out fast and it was very affordable especially for the portion sizes. I'll definitely be back!

Great food. The eggs were just right, over medium, the bacon was crisp. Coffee was hot, good breakfast!

If you want great coffee, this isn't the place. But it's a nice little place with fairly friendly staff and a sitting area to chat or work.

We go across town (at least 20 minutes), hopes high and taste buds ready, only to land at this spot and find the energy a little more "BLAH" than "CAFFEEINE PARTY." I'm all about giving new to me places a chance, so I let them know I was from out of town, expecting an enthusiastic welcome or at least a menu breakdown. Instead, I got about as much excitement as a decaf espresso shot. I was this close to skipping the order altogether, but my inner self said keep going. The baristas making the drinks were great, and the space itself is roomy enough for laptop warriors or a catch-up with pals. The drinks, though, didn't have me doing cartwheels, but hey, maybe it was just an off day for my taste buds. I can't begin to remember the name of my drink Would I go back? Probably not. Will our Cincinnati crew give it another shot? Also unlikely. But hey, if you're nearby and feeling adventurous, maybe you'll catch them on a day when the energy is as strong as their coffee. Every coffee run has its own story, and this one just leaned a little more decaf than drama.
