The first thing that you notice walking up is a nice amount of outside seating curbside, then upon entering the smell of freshly roasted coffee and hot buttery croissants. You're greeted by a couple friendly servers. It's very small inside, a few tables and some seats by the front window, so I imagine at a busy time of day it would be tight inside. I ordered a ham and Swiss crosspoint and a small drip coffee. (Sumatran Italian roast). It was under $7.00 before tip, not bad! I sat in the last table facing the door and noticed an apothecary style wall cupboard full of ground coffee! Service was fast, in and out in no time. And my food? O m g, delicious! Flaky, buttery, right amount of ham and cheese. My literal thought was that I should have ordered 2. The coffee was 5 stars alone! Just go, you gotta try it. My real mission was to shop for mums at a nursery but one must have sustenance first. I got an enormous Kouign-amann and a lemon-blueberry scone, with an iced vanilla latte, to go. The Kouign-amann was magnificent-- different than others I've had in that it was light and fluffy (more croissant-like) vs the tightly-packed layers I've had elsewhere where. Yes, I'm becoming a Kouign-amann connoisseur of sorts [flips hair nonchalantly]. It was very nice with a crunchy crystallized sugar at in the bottom (or top, depending on how you approach it!). The scone was covered in lemony glaze and was light and flaky. Very very good! I took both sweets home to split with hubs. My latte was good - needed a little more espresso oomf but otherwise just fine. It's a cozy spot, with indoor seating and some outdoor as well. Very popular - I was there on a Sunday morning. The parking situation is mildly intimidating, especially if unfamiliar with the area. A few spots out front and some metered street parking. There appear to be more parking but much of it have signs staking claim for other businesses. Bottom line, you'll find parking but may have a short walk.

Reading the website, they import the flower and butter for their baked goods. A reason why they're so delicious!

We were able to visit on a weeknight for a cozy bedtime drink. We had nearly the whole place to ourselves so I'd love to see more people utilize this quiet lovely spot for studying or socializing. While we just got a drink, the food menu looked delish. They had a hot honey and goat cheese toast that looked amazing. Their seasonal fall drink menu was also super unique; the barista recommended the sweet potato chai which had cinnamon bun notes and I noticed an apple lemonade too?! Yum. We got two of the menu classics. The Lavender London Fog and the Golden Milk Tea Latte. I didn't get strong lavender notes until the end when I noticed the syrup had settled all on the bottom. I would have used a stirrer in retrospect. But I still enjoyed my drink a lot. My husband told me that he liked how the golden milk had notes of turmeric- I had to explain what golden milk was haha! He really enjoyed it for his first one. The barista was friendly and patient with us and our toddler, who was practicing walking all over the shop. Oh, and parking is a breeze- there is public parking right outside the shop in a convenient lot. Definitely will be back, this spot is a huge asset to the neighborhood.

It looks like something really fun to try and share with a friend, sampling 4 different drinks from the menu (for an excellent price). Service was great, even on a day where they seemed pretty busy. They kept the line down and kept conversation with the customers so it didn't feel like a wait. Lastly, I love the expansion of the community information at the front counter. It gives the coffee shop a true feeling of "all are welcome here" and support for each other.

I am so happy with my experience - delicious, sweet, and in a space that felt so homey! Also, I'd like to point out how beautiful it is that so many folks from different walks of life were finding comfort in this same space. There was a group of construction workers on their lunch break together, a table of two having a deep discussion about something important, a woman on her laptop, a couple folks wanting a good chat at the bar, and that's just those of us who were downstairs. It's so special when a space can be safe to such a diverse set of customers. Before my lunch had even been delivered to the table I was texting specific people going "you have got to check this place out, you'd love the vibe!!" Speaking of lunch, here's what I ordered: TBS | turkey sausage, scrambled egg, cheddar & pepper jack cheese served on a croissant bun I had zero expectations for this sandwich as I didn't even comprehend how much variety would be in their meal choices. It was delicious. I did not expect it to be so massive. Holy crap. Very worth the price! Peach Cobbler Chai | listen, y'all. When most places say a drink is flavored or tastes like a pre-existing thing, it usually only hints at that original flavor. THIS TASTED LIKE A DANG PEACH COBBLER HAD BEEN MELTED AND POURED STRAIGHT INTO MY CUP. I'm blessed to have tried this. It was one of my favorite drinks I've had all year. Caramel Apple Snickerdoodle Cookie | ALL of their cookies are as big as my face, so I had to try one. I love caramel meaning this was the obvious choice. It was soooooo sweet and gooey! I thoroughly enjoyed it, though I'd probably get a different flavor next time! Iced Chai w/ Extra Cinnamon | as I was leaving, I wanted an extra drink. I asked the barista what her go to is and she hooked me up with this beauty! I have gotten chai so many times in my life. I've quite literally have had hundreds of chais. I love chai. I even was a barista for about a year and a half. Never have I ever thought to ask for extra cinnamon and now I feel like I've been doing chai wrong to all the chais of my past that I've deemed "weak" and "not flavorful enough", I'm sorry. That's on me. I should've added more cinnamon JT got the best side bagel (which he devoured, though he also underestimated its size!) and some specialty latte that was hand written on the menu to the right of the checkout. I tried a sip, it was a little less flavorful than I had expected but super smooth!

When you walk in, the space isn't too much bigger than a little house either. It makes things cozy, but possibly could feel a bit cramped if it got too busy. SF vanilla in coconut milk isn't a combo I've ever done before and I'd try something else next time, but that's just user error. The beans are by Deeper Roots, a local roaster whom I find quite good. There were a couple benches and a tables tucked around to the left of the register too. Some were closer to the window, which for a space that small made it feel intentional and homey.
