Mocha coffee and pumpkin cheesecake muffin
    Ryane S.

Love! I've been here in the past but it was for an event, so this was my first time ordering coffee and having bite. Cute spot, great service, and spacious enough to grab you a cozy seat by the window. But let me just say...but baaayyybeee...that pumpkin muffin was everythaaang. It was so soft and moist and the perfect side to go with my latte. I won't mention names of a chain place I know that has a pumping something, but this one here was it. I ended up grabbing a cookie as well on my way out the door and it didn't disappoint. I'll for sure return to try some other things on the menu.

This place is where the old North College Hill Coffee once was and it is a welcomed change! Using La Terza coffee for their drinks makes all the difference in taste. Whether you are looking for a cup of coffee on the go, seated with a couple of friends, or wanting to take home freshly roasted beans for yourself, this is the place. They also offer a few baked goods if you're needing a little more in the tummy. If you have little ones, there is a cute little area for them to play while you are with them. And there are quite a few tables to gather with friends/family. Very clean bathrooms, which is a huge plus! I opted for a breve latte and mini apple pie. Delicious! I've had several drinks from here in the past, as well as freshly ground beans for my French press at home. (Sorry I didn't get pictures of the seating out of respect for the privacy of others)

Updating my review to add that I tried the breakfast sandwich and it was FIRE. The homemade English muffin and special house sauce made it so unique and tasty and fresh. Would highly recommend and would order again. I also got a hot London Fog with almond milk and it was really good. I have had many disappointing ones lately, but this one had full flavor. Such a great spot to spend the day working.

This place was amazing! Came with a friend and found plenty parking in the back lot--the cinnamon roll was delicious as well as the butterscotch latte I ordered. Barista was very forthcoming and answered all of my questions with a smile. There's also tons of seating and even an area for children or young kids.

I was in Cincy for a few meetings and for one of them, this is where we decided to go. I found them on Yelp and when I mentioned it to my colleague they were one hundred percent onboard. I arrived to discover a really cute and comfy cafe with welcoming staff, tons of bright light, strong wifi, great coffee and food, and more. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a latte, both of which I enjoyed very much. A few other things to note... 1) There's a big parking lot out back, so no need to worry about that. 2) There's a lovely little corner with items to purchase. Things like locally made art, jewelry, and other knicknacks. 3) It was obvious that the place is very family friendly, so bring the kids if you want. 4) Toward the back there was a bulletin board where you can leave a post-it note with either something you're proud of or words of encouragement, things like that. Such a sweet thing to do. Very big sense of community here. I would totally come back.

Cozy climate with warm lighting, vibrant community involvement, delicious homemade pastries and dishes, as well as friendly and welcoming staff. Picture perfect cafe!

The vibe when I walked in is my kind of coffee house. The service from the barista was welcoming. I made it out with an almond milk latte and orange coffee cake. Delicious.

The service was amazing! Very helpful and answered all questions. I tried a dirty iced chai and it was amazing! I loved the cute locally made mini shop as well.

Cozy and cute interior decor. Very nicely decorated. The baked French toast is delicious. It's perfectly sweet without adding syrup. It tasted like bread pudding. The kitchen chef delivered my freshly baked French toast to the table. The spinach and onion soufflé when warmed is savory and just delicious as well. Now I like my iced drinks cold all the way through. The iced pumpkin custard latte would have benefited from either the drink being shaken to make it cold all the way through or more ice. The pumpkin flavor tasted artificial. Food was delicious, coffee not so much, just average.

Checking in at Luminary, with a Pumpkin Custard Latte.

Luminary is a coffee shop I had been waiting to try, for months. Believe me when I say: It was certainly worth the trip. Luminary took the place of the previous coffee shop, and has changed the vibe for the better. The outside (rear) has a couple of tables, and the inside has plenty of available seating. The colors, vibe and decorations encourage relaxation. I felt at peace when we arrived, and browsing their menu. I ordered the Pumpkin Custard Latte, while my wife ordered the Iced Gingerbread Latte. The woman who took our order was friendly, and that was pretty refreshing. We grabbed some seats at the front window and admired the artwork decorating the walls. After about 5 minutes, we received our coffees. My Pumpkin Custard Latte was smooth, creamy, and flavorful. It embodied being sweet, but not overly sweet -- the perfect amount with pumpkin. My wife thought her Iced Gingerbread Latte was decent/okay. She really could not get a strong flavor from it. She liked it, but thought mine was much better. I would highly recommend Luminary, as the vibe and taste are worth the trip. I can't wait to go back and maybe try one of their pastries.

    With tip, $15
Coffee refill? Got to go to counter and request it...

OK... I was a College Hill Coffee fan for 15+ years.... Luminary, so far, is OK. A bit pricy for what I got - bacon, egg, cheese sandwich with SMALL salad and "bottomless" coffee. (No table service). $15.00 I think it's set up to be "open and airy"... but it kind of feels like a cafeteria to me. Since it's one of the new "College Hill staples.." I'll probably be back...

Such a cute place! The ambiance is very cozy and inviting. Our barista was amazing and the pumpkin cold brew I had was so good!

Hidden Gem!!! Literally…read more So, your GPS/Waze will get you there but your eyes and brain will be lost. This is because it is literally inside the HighGrain Brentwood BrewPub. Once you've found HighGrain, park in the parking lot and go inside. You walk in and La Terza is immediately on your left. When you walk in, you can go up to the counter and check out the menu. Just hit the little doorbell on the counter if nobody is there when you arrive. They'll show up quickly. You'll also likely notice the coffee's that they currently have "on tap", if you will. They put the bags out front so you know what you're ordering. You can choose from one of their straight up cups of coffee to espresso or latte's, iced or hot. During this visit I selected a small black coffee and an iced vanilla latte. The black coffee was a Costa Rica bean that was bold and robust with flavor. I really enjoyed this. The vanilla latte was not sweet at all. So, if you're looking for something a little sweeter, I'd ask for it to be sweetened or possibly go with the caramel latte, as that was a little sweeter. They do roast their beans on-site. I was going to take a walk over there but the door was closed once I got my coffee order. I did buy a bag of their whole Peru sourced beans that I'm very much looking forward to grinding up and French pressing to perfection. Combined with HighGrain, there is a lot of space to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have a small bakery cabinet to check out and order from as well. I can only assume that the coffee shop and brewery work together, so you may be able to order food from HighGrain and have your coffee too. Would I go back? 100%. I'm looking forward to trying the beans that I purchased. If they're as good as the coffee that I had in-store, La Terza will be on my list of local places to get my beans from.

We go across town (at least 20 minutes), hopes high and taste buds ready, only to land at this spot and find the energy a little more "BLAH" than "CAFFEEINE PARTY." I'm all about giving new to me places a chance, so I let them know I was from out of town, expecting an enthusiastic welcome or at least a menu breakdown. Instead, I got about as much excitement as a decaf espresso shot. I was this close to skipping the order altogether, but my inner self said keep going. The baristas making the drinks were great, and the space itself is roomy enough for laptop warriors or a catch-up with pals. The drinks, though, didn't have me doing cartwheels, but hey, maybe it was just an off day for my taste buds. I can't begin to remember the name of my drink Would I go back? Probably not. Will our Cincinnati crew give it another shot? Also unlikely. But hey, if you're nearby and feeling adventurous, maybe you'll catch them on a day when the energy is as strong as their coffee. Every coffee run has its own story, and this one just leaned a little more decaf than drama.
