Healthy but has a definite farm-like atmosphere. There are chickens and goats on the property, which provide a relaxing atmosphere when sitting outside. I might add the livestock is in their own penned area and not roaming freely among the guests. They had some great beers to choose from. The American stout had. Wonderful flavor. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the prices very fair. They have live music on Friday and Saturday evenings we were told. So, we will definitely revisit on a Friday or Saturday evening!

Again- the icing is soft and delicious! I'm not a fan of royal icing, which is what most places around here use to decorate their pretty cookies. I LOVE the fact that NCH uses buttercream. Without a doubt, I believe their cookies are far superior to any other bakery in Cincinnati. The cakes are so tasty, of course including the cupcakes. I love the variety of flavors they always have in their cupcakes. And then... there's the pastries! I'll just say- I've never had a bad one! This place is amazing! Since I do not eat the loaves at the time of purchase; sometimes I don't eat them until a few days later. Every customer does not want their pastry to be opened at the time of purchase. The barista (white female, black curly/wavy hair) told me she couldn't leave it in the sealed plastic wrapping because "it loses its nutritional value". I kid you not! How the hell does that make any sense? What kind of nutritional value does the lemon loaf have? It has more sugar, and other unhealthy ingredients, than any nutrition. Which is why I don't consume it that often. She has definitely reached her peak in life as a Barista, with that idiotic sense of logic. I would highly suggest visiting a different Starbucks location since this is not the first time I've received incompetent, horrible service. The staff at this location just isn't up to par. People need to understand that you choose/chose the job; the job doesn't choose you. As a Barista, you are in a customer service role; IT'S YOUR JOB to provide every customer with superior service.
