Hidden Gem!!! Literally…read more So, your GPS/Waze will get you there but your eyes and brain will be lost. This is because it is literally inside the HighGrain Brentwood BrewPub. Once you've found HighGrain, park in the parking lot and go inside. You walk in and La Terza is immediately on your left. When you walk in, you can go up to the counter and check out the menu. Just hit the little doorbell on the counter if nobody is there when you arrive. They'll show up quickly. You'll also likely notice the coffee's that they currently have "on tap", if you will. They put the bags out front so you know what you're ordering. You can choose from one of their straight up cups of coffee to espresso or latte's, iced or hot. During this visit I selected a small black coffee and an iced vanilla latte. The black coffee was a Costa Rica bean that was bold and robust with flavor. I really enjoyed this. The vanilla latte was not sweet at all. So, if you're looking for something a little sweeter, I'd ask for it to be sweetened or possibly go with the caramel latte, as that was a little sweeter. They do roast their beans on-site. I was going to take a walk over there but the door was closed once I got my coffee order. I did buy a bag of their whole Peru sourced beans that I'm very much looking forward to grinding up and French pressing to perfection. Combined with HighGrain, there is a lot of space to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have a small bakery cabinet to check out and order from as well. I can only assume that the coffee shop and brewery work together, so you may be able to order food from HighGrain and have your coffee too. Would I go back? 100%. I'm looking forward to trying the beans that I purchased. If they're as good as the coffee that I had in-store, La Terza will be on my list of local places to get my beans from.

If you want great coffee, this isn't the place. But it's a nice little place with fairly friendly staff and a sitting area to chat or work.

Imagine driving to Cincinnati ahead of the incoming snowstorm, ready for a fun coffee shop, because…read moremy sister is basically a coffee shop snob. We go across town (at least 20 minutes), hopes high and taste buds ready, only to land at this spot and find the energy a little more "BLAH" than "CAFFEEINE PARTY." I'm all about giving new to me places a chance, so I let them know I was from out of town, expecting an enthusiastic welcome or at least a menu breakdown. Instead, I got about as much excitement as a decaf espresso shot. I was this close to skipping the order altogether, but my inner self said keep going. The baristas making the drinks were great, and the space itself is roomy enough for laptop warriors or a catch-up with pals. The drinks, though, didn't have me doing cartwheels, but hey, maybe it was just an off day for my taste buds. I can't begin to remember the name of my drink Would I go back? Probably not. Will our Cincinnati crew give it another shot? Also unlikely. But hey, if you're nearby and feeling adventurous, maybe you'll catch them on a day when the energy is as strong as their coffee. Every coffee run has its own story, and this one just leaned a little more decaf than drama.
