Let me tell you, honestly the first time I came to Tagliata, I was not impressed. However, this time, I was thoroughly impressed. This is an excellent spot to treat yourself or a loved one for a classy, relaxing private dining experience. The menu was fixed in advanced and it was quite a well organized classy affair. Our waiter was thoughtful and helpful in deciding the wine pairings for our meals. The waiter was kind and thoughtful for me and husband as vegan attendees of the dinner. The flavor was so rich and delightful, overall quite a well cherished moment to celebrate people you love with good food. The only comment I have is for one vegan dish that was purely vegetables on a plate, the seasoning was a little underlacking, I would hope this dish can be improved in the future with thoughtfulness of vegan spice and blends.
What a cute place! We came here on a whim, and it was a really nice experience. We started with the fried chicken, which was a decent sized portion for two. They also brought out complimentary bread with butter and cheese. I loved that you could see into the kitchen and watch them make everything from scratch! For entrées, we ordered the Rigatoni alla Vodka with chicken and the Chicken Parmigiana. We also ordered the Chocolate Semifreddo to share. I'm not a dessert person, but it was SOOOO good!! Def recommend this spot for a celebration or a random dinner outing.
It's a beautiful, elegant space without being stuffy. Staff were very much on top of things and friendly. The standouts were the chilled corn soup (fresh! Creamy!) and the bombolone (fluffy! Hot!) the caprese was very underwhelming with tomatoes that were not quite ripe and under seasoned. The lobster ravioli had a nice sauce, but I wouldn't get it again as it didn't really land for me. Expensive restaurant overall, but nice for a treat.
I had an opportunity during the week to stop in during lunch as I have had this on my "to go" list. I was able to get parking right at the restaurant without an issue; but be mindful this is not possible most days and times. Parking is tight around this area. The restaurant did not have signage viewable directing to the entrance. Entrance is through a terrace area in which there is outdoor seating and great vibing view (on a cooler and better day then this partucular day with temperatures over 100°. Entrance was made at the lower level(bar area) and greetings were made from the bartender. I then walked up the stairs to the hostess desk and was greeted again by the young lady. We were seated in a formal dining area. This is a casual to upscale dining experience. I was dressed not so casual but was not feeling out of place as it was not a lot of people inside. One large seemingly work group dining together. Hostess/waitress placed refreshing cold glasses of water on the table. I needed to wash my hands before my dining experience and meal. I asked the hostess/waitress for the location of restroom. She guided me to such. While walking to the restroom, I was able to see multiple food prep areas (open kitchen stove area, guy in another sections rolling and prepping raw ground meatballs another guy in another area. All food areas seemed neat and clean. Employees also using food prep gloves. I finally got to the restroom. Immaculately clean and smell fresh. The decor was warm and continued the asthetics of the restaurant. When I came back to the table I looked over the simple and minimalist menu. Its not overwhelming with a lot to chose from. The waitress explained the menu and when it came down to the pasta dishes she expressed the size of the half vs full. Her described portion of half was the size of a handful and the full was that of two hand fulls. I chose the bolognese (half), meatballs, and my dining guest chose a caesar salad with grilled chicken added. We decided on no other beverages beyond the water. The food came out quickly. The described size portions were as such. I was thinking the size would be not as small as it was. For a grown man or someone hungry, the half portion will not be filling. The salad came out portioned as the pasta. A handful of caesar with a large uncooked chicken breast. The meatballs (3 total) was a great portion. I found my bolognese and the meatballs to be on the side of a bit salty. My dining guest found the salad to be on the salty side as well. I enjoyed the ambiance and calm dining area but the food did not wow me. From the portions, to the taste and then the price. The caesar salad was $17 and $11 for the chicken breast that was not proportion with the hand full of romaine placed on a plate and uncut was too pricey ($28 total). They charge a 3% facility fee on to the check. Paying $80 for this experience was not justified. I am able to knock this off my list of "to go" I may take another look at coming here again but I for now will not consider anytime soon due to my first experience of the salty food. Other than the taste and portion its not a bad vibing experience.
I was in town for a work dinner and I apparently was the only person who has never been here before. Our server Jorge was absolutely spectacular and attentive. It was a work dinner so I everyone enjoyed the choices they made. My entire family chose well for their preferences. Having lived in Chicago for 20 years. I didn't even order a steaks the lobster bucatini with scallops on the side was exquisite. Support small businesses!
We stopped here impromptu to kill some space time and sit at the bar. We ordered a few drinks while having great conversation. The restaurant is beautifully tucked into a small alley way. The bartender was very personable and friendly. The atmosphere is classy. I would love to come back to try the full menu.
I love this place! I have never had a bad meal and they have one of the best happy hours in the city! We usually get multiple items to share between us and it's always the perfect amount! We got there early enough that we got a seat at the outside bar and the bartender recommended all of her favorites. We'll definitely be back in the future!
I really wish I could give Tagliata 300 stars because EVERY thing was OUTSTANDING! I have eaten at thousands of restaurants all over the world and this is DEFINITELY in my top three! I will brag on the EXCEPTIONAL duck, squid ink, calamari and fig bruschetta dishes, (all separate!) or the focaccia with butter, or the chicken parmigiana, or the salads. I will also brag on the lovely ambiance and exquisite service. And speaking of service, there aren't enough positive words to express how exceptional this staff is in every single way! I believe one Victor is the manager and he is SO classy and genuine! The other Victor, our server, was absolutely one of the MOST genuine, kind, respectful and professional staff in the industry. What an absolute pleasure to know him and everyone at Tagliata! My best friend and I are leaving tomorrow after our one week annual friendship meeting here in Baltimore. Since we have eaten here three magical days in a row, we are sad that we can't make it four because Tagliata feels like family. Here's to one of THE BEST places I've EVER eaten at in the world! This has some of the best Italian food I have had in the DMV area! There were a few small mishaps in my opinion, otherwise this would have been a solid 5/5 for me. We were in the Baltimore area for a concert and opted for a late lunch. Their kitchen closes mid afternoon, so we were able to get the last reservation before it closed. Everyone was really nice, but not overly so, which was kind of a shame since it is at a higher price point. Some highlights on the food: their caesar salad was amazing and I loved the parmesan piece on top. Their tuna tartare was really savory and delicious. One thing I want to note is that I had previously called ahead and asked if they could do a lettuce wrap for their burger, so I was taking aback when my server said no despite someone at the restaurant previously telling me that it was possible. I'm not sure if it's because the kitchen was closing or another reason, but it seems like there might've been some misalignment with the server and whomever had answered the phone previously.
Amazing dinner for my service. Everything was 5 stars from the food to the service to the ambiance. Highly recommended
Had pasta, a blueberry salad and tiramisu all were excellent. I was visiting from out of town for lunch; would definitely go back. It looks like a really fun place on the weekend there's outside seating and overall nice atmosphere. Loved the decor and vibe. Pasta was fresh and nicely seasoned. very very tasty!
I had dinner at Tagliata with three girlfriends on Friday night. We've all lived in Baltimore for several years, but none of us had ever been to Tagliata. The restaurant is large, although a bit compartmentalized (the front room of the restaurant looked beautiful, but we were sat in the second dining area, which was comfortable but perhaps a bit less elegant). (FYI: They also have some outdoor seating, and they had plenty of heaters by the outdoor seating when we visited.) The service was good from start to finish. Our waitress was very friendly, explained the specials and any dishes on the menu that we had questions about, and was very attentive to our table, even though they were busy throughout our meal. The food was a little hit and miss for me. We shared everything, so we were able to try about 7 dishes. We started with the Caesar salad (Parmigiano-Reggiano, sourdough, black garlic Caesar dressing), which was pretty good (maybe not my favorite Caesar dressing, but it wasn't a bad salad). Our antipasti course was their calamari, which isn't your standard calamari dish (not fried, it's served on top of fregola, olives, capers, pine nuts, golden raisins, and Calabrian chili). This calamari dish was one of our favorites of the night. Talgiata offers eight housemade pasta dishes, and they offer them in two sizes - small and large. We decided to order 4 in the small size so we could try more of them! We ordered: the Acquerello Risotto (brown butter balsamic butternut squash purée, parsnip, hazelnut, and balsamic vinegar); the rigatoni alla vodka (tomato-cream sauce finished with vodka and Parmigiano); lobster ravioli (mascarpone, lemon, lobster cream sauce); and the squid ink campanelle (with fresh blue crab, uni cream, chili, basil, and breadcrumbs). As an experiment, we decided to try them all and then say which our favorites were at the same time. We both liked two a lot, and two much less, which I thought was amazing. We're four people with different palates and different preferences, but we agreed exactly. The risotto was undercooked (the rice wasn't al dente, it was just undercooked), and I didn't enjoy the flavor either. It had a strong vinegar flavor, which I think would come from finishing a dish with poor quality balsamic vinegars (aged balsamic doesn't have that very acidic taste that less expensive, un-aged, or even faux Balsamics have). None of us enjoyed it much. The lobster ravioli was also a miss for us. I found the lobster overcooked (it was on the chewier side), but the real problem I had with the dish was the thickness of the pasta. It wasn't thin enough so when they created ravioli from the pasta sheets, the corners and edges were extremely tough and chewy. The flavor was fine but didn't make up for the pasta itself. The two that we did really like were the rigatoni alla vodka and the squid ink campanelle. The rigatoni was really simple and traditional - just a comfortable bowl of pasta. The campanelle was also a hit generally at my table, but I would add that I don't think much seafood flavor came through (it tasted like well-cooked pasta in a good cream sauce), so I'm not sure the uni in the cream is doing much (if you got a bit with a bigger piece of crab, the seafood flavor came through, otherwise, I didn't get it from the cream or the pasta itself). We finished with their Bomboloni (ricotta doughnuts, pumpkin spice pastry ream, apples, praline, and hazelnuts). I thought the texture and taste of the doughnuts was amazing - really light and fluffy. I wish the dessert had ended there, because I didn't think anything else on the plate made the dish better (the pastry cream in particular I did not enjoy). I had a couple of glasses of Cava, which I enjoyed. My friends ordered a few different drinks: red wine, an N/A cocktail, an espresso martini... I think we enjoyed all of them (I did really enjoy my friend's N/A drink which was light and refreshing). The restaurant's espresso machine was broken, so they couldn't make any coffee at all, which was too bad - it would have been nice with dessert. Overall, the meal was pretty okay. There were dishes I liked and dishes I didn't enjoy much. Tagliata has the vibes of a place that is just a little too scene-y for me: style over substance. It's not bad, but I don't think it ranks among the best Italian restaurants in Baltimore for me.
11.16.25 Hubby and I had a concert to go to at CFG Arena so I decided to select a restaurant nearby before the show to celebrate my birthday coming up in 1.5 weeks. When I did a search online, this restaurant received high reviews and had a lovely ambiance. I made reservations via OpenTable. When I made the reservation, I noted it was for my birthday. Upon being seated, I was given a handwritten birthday card. Our server was Christopher. He was knowledgeable informing us of the specials and offering a recommendation after my husband selected a particular glass of wine. Christopher started us off by providing us with complimentary bread. I ordered the lobster ravioli (half size) and my hubby ordered the chicken marsala with spaghetti. I enjoyed the succulent lobster and the flavorful sauce. My hubby enjoyed his entree as well. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate semifreddo which had chocolate mousse, cold brew gelato, white chocolate crema, and chocolate hazelnut crumble. Christopher brought it out with lighted candle and surprised me with a complimentary olive oil cake. Both were delectable and simply perfection. If I were at home, I probably would have licked the plates. Towards the end of dinner, Christopher didn't come to check on us as frequently, but I appreciated his thoughtfulness with the complimentary cake and his knowledge of the menu. I enjoyed the food, ambiance, and special gestures the restaurant made to celebrate my birthday.

It was our first time dining at Tagliata and it was such a good experience! The servers were so attentive and our waitress did an excellent job of recommending dishes and answering our questions. The space felt cozy, had a really nice ambiance. We went on a Saturday night so it was pretty packed, but still a great experience. They had live piano music playing as well! We ended up getting the calamari, lamb neck, and duck confit ravioli. Let me tell you, every single dish was delicious! The lamb neck was definitely our favorite - the meat was tender but also had some crisp from being seared. It was absolutely decadent! Can't wait to try more things from their menu next time! 10/10! read more

Came for lunch and while the food was good, menu was limited. We also received conflicting information from the host over the phone. Specifically, that we couldn't make reservations & that it was walk-in only. You can make reservations. Lobster di avolo: delicious and true to menu description. It was spicy and not too watery which is my biggest issue with seafood based sauces. Salmon tartare: basic Chicken parm, ravioli: good, familiar ingredients and taste Salads: not much to rave about. For the price point I think they could have harmonized in a way that tasted better not just a splash of color. read more
We came on a beautiful sunny day and took advantage of Tagliata's gorgeous outdoor seating area. Tagliata is clearly an upscale restaurant but they were very accommodating when we asked to share our food family style. We ordered three main courses for four people, including New York Strip, squid ink pasta and monk fish. They served the steak sliced for easy sharing. All three dishes were excellent. We got the panna cotta and gelato for dessert. I definitely recommend the panna cotta. read more
I was in Baltimore for a work conference & then happened to come across this place near the hotel I was staying at. I had gotten the Chicken Parm & the penne vodka pasta & it was really good. The portion sizes were big & definitely matched its' price. The sauce for the Chicken Parm had a slightly bitter taste to it & was a tad bit like an acidic tomato sauce but overall, the food was good! Would definitely come back if I'm ever in Baltimore again! read more

Food is great, it's high end and pasta is made in house. Big collection of spirits and liquor and wine. Portions are smaller than expected, you can get full and half portions, prices are high so I expect a bigger portion. But overall nice experience. Lighting is very dim but thats expected. Outside seating is nice. read more
Tagliata is 10/10 no matter when you visit- dinner, HH, party, friends- you name it, this is one of my go-to spots no matter what season! The service is impeccable and the food never disappoints. If you want an elevated experience- as a good cost- I recommend the amazing HH specials!!! read more

ambiance ambiance ambiance! Partially candlelit and perfect for an intimate date night. 10/10: fried chicken appetizer- I was in love with the tart creamy lemon sauce! That with the light fry on the chicken made for a wonderful dish. 9/10: peach Bellini- light and refreshing, not too strong 9/10: panna cotta- loved the addition of fresh fruit and cookies! 8/10: Bolognese- pretty good! the fettuccini was cooked Al dente and they provided a very generous portion 8/10: rigatoni a la vodka- loved the sauce and the mini rigatoni! Again a very generous portion 8/10: Caesar salad- yummy! I felt the lettuce could've been a bit fresher but we were their last table before closing. Loved the homemade croutons. 7/10: meatballs- a little cold when we got them, and the flavor wasn't anything the write home about,but the server took it off our bill so no complaints from me! The service was impeccable from the moment I made my reservation. I reserved the last available table on Open Table (10pm) and immediately got a call notifying me the kitchen closed at 9:45. First off let me say, I loved everything about this place. The staff was amazing, the ambiance was amazing, the service was perfect and the food was to die for. I love pasta!!! Tagliata did not disappoint. My squid ink pasta was so delicious, I almost slapped someone's momma. Obviously not mine because she is not for play play. I will be bringing her back to try this restaurant though. It was my kind of place where it was lively but you didn't have to shout to talk to the people in your party. The lighting wasn't that low basement trying to create a romantic vibe dark but definitely not too bright. Our servers were attentive but not overbearing. My food came out nice and hot. The portion was just enough to fill me up which is perfect because I don't necessarily need leftovers. The bathrooms were very clean which is an added bonus. All in all I will be back and have told everyone I know that this restaurant is a must try. ATLAS got it right on this one. Can't wait to go back and try the outdoor seating. read more

Love Tagliata's pastas! Went here on a date night. My favorite is the lobster one! I also love the squid ink and vodka sauce one. They bring great live artists on vocals and piano too. The only thing is that tables are super close to each other. We were squished between people and we could all hear each other talk - you could tell it affected people's date nights with how close our tables were. There was also a lady next to us with her kid and she was talking on her speaker phone. The kid just had a video playing out loud while we were eating dinner. Other than that, ambiance and food is great. They could just work on table spacing in certain sections. read more

Despite it being a chilly rainy evening I'm happy I attended a dinner party to enjoy Tagliata for myself. The ambiance invokes a sense of sophisticated comfortable conversation at your table despite the busy servers always moving. Ryan was our amiable waiter for the party of 7. His attentiveness and knowledge about the extensive menu options were standout. The courses flowed thru the evening without overwhelming us. The warm fresh bread with fresh butter and cheese each table receives makes is delicious! I started out with the Andiamo cocktail and the roasted beet salad was a beautiful spring melody in my mouth. As my entree the Bronzino with broccolini paired with the generously poured recommended Soave was exceptional. Perfectly cooked, the pesto and mushrooms are a different pairing for me personally. It wasn't bad just different I could see what the chef was going for with flavors. The sweet then fresh crispness after taste of the wine cleaned my palate yet complimented the meal. The portion sizes are generous the sides are shareable. A friend and I shared a half of squid ink pasta for our first time trying. It was really good the sauce and crab meat was a good compliment with the unique squid ink taste. I will most definitely be returning to try out the different menu options. This isn't a 5 star review solely because of the bathroom the walk in heels is a bit of task along over flown trash bin was disappointing. read more

Without a reservation, we were seated outside where many tables line the passageway to the entrance of the building and string lights over our heads. The property is new and elegant. Started with meatballs, had burrata and endive salads, and the short rib and risotto for the mains. The place doesn't feel like an Italian restaurant; more of a steakhouse with some pasta offerings. High end, high prices, good food. read more
Yelp Fam! I'm back with another review. I gotta be real, I'm ashamed it took me so long to check this spot out! my GF loves Italian ,so for an early V-Day situation we hit up Tagliata for happy hour. This is probably one of the best happy hours in Baltimore. Lots of food options, 8$ cocktails & a great atmosphere. As soon as we entered we were able to find 2 bar seats and immediately noticed the live piano player serenading the room. The vibe was very relaxed and we were greeted right away by Keith. Keith was amazing! Super nice, set us up with water, happy hour menus and got our drinks going quickly. We both had makers mark 46 & ginger ale - simple and very good. We ordered the veal Bolognese & Tuscan chicken. The chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly, The Pastas was fresh and my gf loved it. After finishing up we were invited to come back again and even found out that the sister restaurant Ouzo bay has a similar happy hour!! So we have added that to our list. I would highly recommend Tagliata for happy hour or dinner everything was great. read more
I want to start this post off by saying yyyaaaasssss. I decided to venture to Baltimore for a staycation/ birthday celebration. Tagliata was the restaurant of choice. And a great choice it was. My husband and I had a reservation and we were seated immediately. The ambiance is intimate and rather minimalist. Simple and chic. We started out with a lovely Caesar salad. It was sooo fresh and crisp! The homemade dressing was bomb! I devoured the salad. The bread and smooth spreadable butter were delicious and complimentary to each other. My husband ordered the ribeye with Brussel sprouts. I ordered two dishes. A half portion of the lobster ravioli and a half portion of the squid ink pasta. I couldn't decide so I picked both. The lobster ravioli reigned supreme! I sent the squid ink back but everything else was just devine. I cleaned my damn plate and I normally can't finish my meal. I probably should have gotten a full portion of the lobster ravioli after further review. But i was also able to sample the rib eye which was also perfection. Crisp on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. We had some sort of sauce to go along with the ribeye which was equally tasty. The meat didn't need any sauce. It was great on its own but why not give it a try. The restaurant had a birthday card for me on the table which was also a nice touch. I was presented with a complimentary tiramisu dessert for my birthday at the end of our meal. I highly recommend this Italian spot. Its authentic and bursting with flavor. Pro Tip: book your reservation a few days to a week in advance. This place is hot like fire. Don't think you'll be able to get a Friday or Saturday reservation same day or Thursday. You will have your feelings hurt. read more
Great spot for date night or a nice dinner! Wonderful ambiance and delicious food. Try to make a reservation if you have a large group or plan to go during busier hours. If the weather is nice, I'd recommend sitting outside. They also have a great happy hour! I ordered the squid ink pasta with crab and thoroughly enjoyed it. Was looking for some gourmet Italian food, and had heard some hype about this restaurant, so I decided to try it out for myself. Even from the outside, the bright lights adorning the restaurant illuminating the street pull you in, and the sophisticated and romantic aura of the place keeps you in! Easily a 10/10 on attractive decorations, especially the outdoor seating area. Definitely be prepared to spend a little more on this meal- so I would recommend coming here for special occasions and events. After being greeted by a delightful host, we were introduced to a very professional and lovely waitress. The staff made me feel spoiled during this entire dining experience. As for the food, we began with the Mushroom Bruschetta antipasti. As a mushroom lover and huge critic for all things mushroom, this was amazing! We also got the Sautéed Calamari which was garnished to perfection. For the main, we ordered the Chicken Parmagiana, covered in a layer of gooey cheese under a bed of delicious marinara sauce that made my mouth tingle with flavor! The pasta in the Rigatoni alla Vodka was a so fresh and infused with the smooth and creamy sauce. And knowing myself, I couldn't skip out on the dessert. Especially because it ended up being the best tiramisu i've ever had. The presentation as well as the taste of the food was spectacular. Overall, incredible dining experience in all facets of the meal, from the fresh and flavorful food to the beautfiul. It is a little pricey but you are paying for the full experience and it definitely lives up to the hype! read more
My new favorite restaurant in the city! We sat outside in their beautiful patio for happy hour. You can not beat their happy hour deal! $6 wines and cheap apps! We had their cheese plate, meatballs, and ended up splitting the chicken parm and rigatoni vodka. The bartenders were amazing and gave generous pours. I can't wait to come back! read more

I finally got to try the happy hour here! The happy hour menu actually has substantial offerings. However, if you wanted to mostly try the happy hour menu, expect to order 3 of the menu items to be satisfied. I loved the salmon bruschetta and the veal bolognese. The meatballs and charcuterie board were less impressive. I had a pretty good size glass of wine and the pinot noir was actually really good! However, they may have charged my friends regular price for their cocktails... We came 6:15p on a Wednesday and it was pretty packed. We were able to get a seat at the bar, but overall, it's quite popular. They won't judge you if you're dressed casually but it is more appropriate to be dressed a little nicer here. read more

My all time favorite Baltimore spot I've been about 7 times now and tried a good portion of the menu and never been displeased. The ambience is perfect, seating comfortable, lighting romantic, aesthetic welcoming and comfortable. The wait staff is always great and attentive. I've been here for a few friends' birthdays and one anniversary and they're very generous with a free little drink or dessert if you're celebrating someone. Everyone has been nothing but kind. The food is to die for. Some of the best vodka sauce around. And the sea food dishes are more than worth it. The half portions of all the pastas are very affordable, and the perfect portion size. The wine selection is also amazing. So far I've tried: the calamari, meat ball, squash soup, fried chicken, and smoked salmon bruschetta appetizers and they're all delicious (though the salmon bruschetta is perfection) For entres I've tried the rigatoni vodka, squid ink campanelle, and lobster ravioli , also all delicious though the squid ink pasta is a personal favorite and I order it almost very time. Their tiramisu is also delicious. I will continue bringing any out of town visitors here as it's my favorite Baltimore restaurant!!! read more

Very good food and pretty darn good service! We started at the bar because our table for our reservation wasn't ready. I had a perfectly prepared aperol spritz. My table shared the beef carpaccio to start - it was flavorful and very good. Our table loves the complimentary bread and butter and got multiple orders. For my main, I had the full portion of the vodka pasta and I added a meatball. The portion was HUGE, probably should have got the half size. The sauce was delicious and the meatball was perfect. Our table also shared the broccolini and zucchini. The restaurant was very busy so at times service was a bit slow. BUT our waitress was amazing and hustling!! She definitely made for a great experience. We had one issue where someone's entree came out 20 minutes before the others (is this like a theme in Baltimore?? Check my prior review...) but at least 4 different people came by to apologize. It was not a huge deal since our table was having food conversation, just a little awkward. I visited Tagliata with a few friends for happy hour on a weekday. There was no wait and we were seated at the bar area. The atmosphere was lively with music in the background, but quiet enough that everyone was still able to hear each other in conversation. I ordered the smoked salmon bruschetta, which was amazing! The bread was toasted perfectly and the smoked salmon, creme fraiche and pickled shallot balanced each other very well and melted in my mouth. At $8 for happy hour pricing, this was high quality food at a great price. Tagliata also offered fresh bread on the house, which was also amazing. It came with whipped butter and the focaccia was lightly seasoned with herbs and was very light and airy. I'll be coming back again and would recommend to anyone looking for a great Happy Hour spot! Not a bad bite was had. First visit the meatballs were a touch too salty but it was perfect my second visit. The squid ink campanelle was sinfully good, as is the lobster ravioli- the ends on these were a touch underdone but the flavor of the dish and the butteriness of the lobster on top let me overlook that. A good friend and I had the pleasure of visiting Tagliata for Dinner and I was excited for dinner from START to FINISH! The ambiance of Little Italy here in Baltimore is always calming and has that warm feeling. The smells coming from the restaurant will literally make you walk up. We sat outside to enjoy the weather while we could and we were not disappointed. Our server was the best from the time we got seated until we left. I started with a Caesar salad and I wish I had after photos because I never had something so simple have so many flavors. An the crisp sourdough chip across the top was perfect...I wanted more. Next, was pasta time and I opted for a Squid Ink Campanelle that had the BEST crab uni cream sauce with a touch of Chili and basil. I had to remember I was at a restaurant and not at home I almost licked my bowl. An you can never leave without dessert so yes Tiramisu was the obvious choice. An EACH layer just blended together and oddly enough I do jot have a good relationship with coffee, but I could eat a slice of this every other day lol. Whether it's a date night, girls catch up, or simply lunch and you are in the area drop in to Tagliata! You may get lucky and can snag a spot at the beautiful bar. read more
The best Italian food in the US! It can be a bit pricey, but it is definitely worth it. The food is super flavorful and delicious. They have the cutest little mocktails and desserts too! To Tagliata, an Italian chophouse, described as a supper club, located in Harbor East. Found the dress code to be interesting. The chef and leadership team all worked at Cinghiale, another Atlas Group restaurant. I start with Steak Tartare. I found the Pecorino Chips to be an odd pairing. Unexpectedly, I receive a complimentary order of the Tuscan Chicken, which was yummy. The Bitter Lettuce Salad was equally good with Pistachio Nuts. Although the most popular pasta is the Squid Ink, I go with the Acquerello Risotto which was super rich and filling. Good recommendation from my server. I decide to pass on dessert and this complimentary glass of Limincello appears. I ask the server if I was the "Customer of the Day"? He said he tries to do special things for each table! read more

Make sure you make a reservation! We didn't make a reservation and they weren't able to seat us and bar was completely full.. so we had to eat somewhere else. Luckily I was able to make a reservation the next day and came back. There's a dress code (house rules) so make sure you know them before entering the restaurant. The menu looked appealing so we had to try. Plus we were in town for the weekend and really wanted to try. It was definitely worth it. The food was delicious but prices are a tad high. For starters, we had the calamari salad. It was not what we expected. Look at photos to understand. However, the Cowboy ribeye and Squid ink uni pasta were amazing. Tagliata's has one of the best happy hours I've been to in a while. The patio seating was so cozy and inviting and the HH menu left us with full tummies and wallets! It was very busy and we didn't have reservations, but the hostess showed us some great high top patio seats where we were immediately greeted and given drinks and menus. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE was attentive. I don't think our water glasses ever truly got empty and our area was kept picture perfect without ever making us feel rushed. My friend and I both had cocktails, appetizers, and mains. I had oysters (fresh and tasty), she had meatballs (which she thoroughly enjoyed), and we both had HH portions of the Rigatoni alla Vodka. The rigatoni was everything! The perfect al dente and the sauce so creamy and bursting with flavor. I'll definitely be back! read more
Holy cow! This was so good! We got the half order of the squid ink pasta and a half order of lobster ravioli. We also got a Cesar salad and the meatballs to start. BEST meatballs ever, and my family is Italian. The restaurant itself has such a cool vibe. A cozy little ally way with cute lights above. You can also sit inside, but we chose to sit outside with a heater. The service was superb and was so polite! Parking was tricky, the road was tore up and just typical city traffic. But we parked on the street with ease, there is a garage a few blocks down as well. Totally will be back! read more

Everything on the menu is incredible, including the lobster ravioli. You won't be disappointed. Satisfaction is guaranteed!

Yes. It’s one of my favorites because of the outdoor bar. I usually get the $5 red wine - delicious and full bodied. The salmon spoon appetizer $2. The charcuterie $8. Some pastas - I think $6. And call it a day!! There’s other dishes as well!…
Are they expensive?
I think they actually have a great mix of prices. You can get everything from a half order of pasta for around $10 to a $125 steak.
