The other reviews here, great as some of them are, don't do this place justice. The food is amazing!!! Service was awesome, too. Reading the menu, the offerings seemed kind of unexciting, but everything we tried was sublime. Here's what we ordered: bread & butter (uniquely prepared and probably baked from scratch), fried mushrooms (unlike any I'd ever tried), winter fruits salad (they actually made kale in a salad delicious!), beef stroganoff (better than any I've tasted--the meat was falling-apart tender), and the pork shank (my husband especially loved the carrots on the side). We arrived at 5:00 pm on a Monday night and were seated with no problem. By 7:00 pm, every table was full, however, so I'd encourage diners to get there early. It's nice to have a fine dining restaurant on 25th street. The service was good, the food was delicious. I've only been once and will need to try for dishes, but so far so good! I had the bread and butter plus their special which was filet and shrimp. Both were great! It's pretty pricey, it's right on the cusp of (is the price worth what you get) speaking about the special which was $56. Their other dishes seem more fairly priced though. read more

Every time I visit my friends Jenny and Adam and their kids in Ogden, I enjoy meals at Table Twenty-Five. The location in the heart of Ogden's old town, it's a classic 19th century styled space with high ceilings, enormous original windows and outdoor seating. The food is always the delicious and the service flawless. I highly recommend dining at this wonderful restaurant. read more

Table Twenty Five has an awesome menu of rotating items and is a great find on 25th. I've dined here twice and had exceptional service both times. The biscuits are a must for a table appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I've had the fish special on one visit and shrimp scampi on the second. The fish was cooked very well but the portion size was a tad small. The scampi had great flavor and ample amounts of shrimp. I would choose to omit the chili flakes since I don't like spicy-ish things, but that is a personal preference. The one thing about Table Twenty Five is that is can get very loud as there is nothing to absorb the noise. I recommend eating outside if it's full Inside. On our first visit, we all left with nearly ringing ears and a headache from the other parties' noise. Otherwise, this place is solid! read more

Okay, I've passed this place a couple of times and have been wanting to try it, because I've tried everywhere on 25th. From the outside you can see how simple inside is. Don't get me wrong, it's the perfect kind of simple. They also have a shaded outside area to sit. I started off with the Summer Sangria and it was the best choice. A summer drink for sure, so refreshing, that blend of melon and strawberry was out of this world. The fried green beans was recommended and I am definitely a fan of that batter. I'm not too big on Cajun seasoning but this was not overpowering. It was so flavorful, and the green beans were tender inside. The only thing that could've made this more perfect? Ranch. Lol. For entrees I went with the fried chicken, and the seared scallops. Let me just say this place knows how to season their food right. The batter for the chicken was delicious. And the chicken was juicy not dry. & Do you see how huge that thing is? The Yukon potatoes were creamy, and that gravy? Wow. Everything complimented each other so nicely. Now the seared scallops, they were seared perfectly, but what I want to talk about is that rice. I would've expected like a jambalaya type of rice, I was very wrong. I was so happy to be wrong. The rice was like a fried rice, and dare I say one of the best fried rices I've ever had. It's not too often I want to keep coming back to a restaurant to try every item on the menu, but I'll be doing that here. & For the other two drinks I had? Utah has one of the saddest alcohol policies where we're limited, not one of those drinks tasted limited and that's my kind of drink. read more

I haven't had a meal here that I would rate lower than a five until today. I got the ceasar salad and it was completely drenched in the dressing. The flavor was good and the added corn was a great idea. The dressing was just way too much, I couldn't finish the salad. However, all of the other meals and experiences I have had here have been great, so I don't want to base my rating off of this one salad. I'm sure if I just ask for it next time with less dressing or the dressing on the side it will be great. One of the meals I have had here previously was the beet gnocchi, which was probably one of the best meals I have ever had. I definitely recommend it. read more

We found this place on a search for fun places to eat in Ogden. All I can say is awesome! Taylor and Emma we our servers/bar crew because we decided to eat at the bar rather than wait for a table. They were awesome and made sure we were taken care of we had the brussel sprouts, bread and butter, chicken and sausage gumbo for appetizers. Then we ordered the fried chicken and stroganoff entrees. Holy cow fantastic good food the beef in the stroganoff was so tender you could cut it with a fork and the fried chicken was crispy and juicy! But I swear the bread was too die for good! Ambiance can vary tremendously because we were at a table outside on 25th St. This is more expensive than I normally ever patronize, but someone took me there and it was a very good experience. Food: Started with the charcuterie board and I was a little disappointed there was no prosciutto... but the rest of it was good. The berry sauce was a nice touch with the Brie cheese. For the entree, I had the spinach gnocchi which was the bomb! I could have eaten about 50 of those little fancy things! The mushroom sauce and cheese on top was an awesome mix. Downside - MOST of my asparagus was cooked... except for 2 pieces. Growing up, I used to HATE asparagus but my wife cooks it perfectly - cut off the stem (about 1/3 the way down), sauté in butter, salt, lime/lemon and whatever else you want to throw in for 5 minutes and immediately remove. If it is not bright green, throw it away. Im not going to send a meal back for a small item like this, but I was disappointed because the other 5-6 pieces were cooked correctly. Atmosphere: It is trendy and chic inside, no fluff and very few decorations, very modern. I dunno, seemed a little echoey and bare inside. But, it was bright and everything was clean so, no real complaints. Price: Very reasonable, even a steak for 45$ isn't that bad. Everything else is 15-20$ a plate, so with a drink and appetizer, look to spend around 35-45$ a person. The downside is that the portions were small, I was still hungry after we ate. Service: Very nice servers, they were training a new person so I think our server might have been a little more helpful than usual...? No worries, still no complaints and she gave a good recommendation for the stroganoff (my coworker ordered that and said it was awesome). Overall: Good place, the gnocchi was epic and I would like to try more of their unique plates. Come here for a very unique and tasty meal. read more

I always check Yelp when I am visiting a new area, and when this popped up as Number 1 in Ogden, I needed to give it a try. Food here was absolutely incredible! I ordered the Beet and Fried Goat Cheese salad to start. The warm goat cheese ball was to die for, and as someone who isn't a fan of beets, somehow these were mild and tasted great. As an entree, I went for the French Dip. It was a unique take on the sandwich with the smoked brisket versus roast beef. And boy did it work! It was absolutely awesome. If I could provide some, the roll was a bit basic compared to the rest of the dish. I would suggest toasting the bread a bit, and trying to add a bit of flavor to make the roll a part of the sandwich versus an afterthought. The au jus was plentiful, but lacked a body and richness that would have brought this dish to another level. Either just reducing the jus slightly to thicken and intensify the flavors, or adding in some flavors like rosemary, thyme, and garlic, to the simmering process, would be epic. It wasn't watery, but the au jus was very basic and thin. My dining partner got the beef stroganoff as it was very highly reviewed on Yelp. I wish I could have tried some, but it was all gone by the time I looked up from my sandwich. She remarked that it was extremely good, and only thing she would change is increase the sauce as the noodle to sauce ratio was a bit to noodly. I had the Lavender Lemon Drop for dinner, and it looked and tasted great! Love the pink sugar around the rim. Over all, an incredible experience. The restaurant is visually very simple and the staff were friendly. Prices were insanely reasonable and the atmosphere was relaxed. I look forward to eating here again next time I come through Ogden. read more

Table 25 is one of the best restaurants in town. The menu rotates a bit, but there's always been something fantastic on the menu. I've had the Brussels sprouts, which are fantastic. The fried mushrooms are also tasty, but they have changed the glaze/sauce a few times. Regardless of that, it's always good. The beef stroganoff is among the best I've had. Their wagu steak is solid, not the absolute best, but you will not be disappointed. The lamb shank was amazing, and I don't even like lamb. The bartenders are also fantastic, the drinks are made right, and my goto old fashioned is wonderful. The restaurant itself is pretty small and can be a little noisy, which is no problem, just understand that going in. I've also taken my young kids here, and they swear by the buttered noodles...just ask for them, they aren't on the menu. read more

Taking a different tact here with this review. First off the setting is really cool. It is very close to another favorite place of mine to eat at in downtown historic Ogden Utah. We were in a large group setting for a luncheon after a high school graduation so take my comment with a grain of salt. The service was very slow. The time elapse from when one side of our group received their food to when we got ours was extremely long and created an awkward sitting where one side of our table was totally done and ready to leave while the other still had not received their food. The food was decent but the extreme wait created a dilemma in our meal where we were starving for anything and loaded up appetizers while watching one side of our table eat therefore when our main course came well we had little appetite left. Another thing here is the noise. If this place is busy you will not be able to hear people speaking. It is cavernous and voices echo in a way where you think they are amplified. The 14+ people at our table practically ordered every single item on the menu and we all agreed it was a solid B to B minus. read more

I can't believe I've been here so many times but hadn't written a review yet. Time to fix that! Simply put: I LOVE this place. All the food is outstanding; I've never gotten anything here that I didn't 100% love. The Wagyu steak especially is FANTASTIC. The cocktails are also a standout. If you're a bourbon lover, you must try the Taylored - I'm having one right now, perfect as I sit outside in mid-June. Maybe above all else is the service here. Absolutely several cuts above almost every other place in northern Utah. The staff is obviously very well-trained; they're super attentive, doing all the right things effortlessly and subtly. Checked out Table Twenty Five with a friend. We both hadn't been here but it was a cute find on 25th street in downtown Ogden. I had mentioned I was vegetarian to the waitress before I attempted to order brussel sprouts, which I was thankful for because they had fish in them. I was happy she told me! We switched our appetizer to the daily bread & butter. The bread was so soft. I ordered the vegetable fried rice. It was so spicy!! I was not prepared. A little hard for me to eat honestly. I did pick out all the asparagus from this dish quickly. It was cooked to perfection! I took most of this home & tried to mellow the flavor out with added soy sauce. My friend ordered the stroganoff minus mushrooms. The noodles in this dish have to be homemade! They are some of the best noodles I've had. The sauce had great flavor as well. Portion sizes were decent. Prices weren't outrageous. Staff was so friendly! Our waitress was Halli. She was so nice & patient with us! I wish they had more vegetarian options. The service is a 10/10. It was FAST! They were able to accommodate our party by finding a table for our reservation when we got there early. If you want to get in there and out in a timely manner I highly recommend eating here. It was packed when we ate there so that's usually a good sign that the food is good The food was delicious. This place was really good. Very popular on a Friday night, when we checked in they said it would be 20 minutes but ended up waiting 45. Once seated, we ordered the hummus. Which was really good they had an assortment of vegetables; carrots, parsnips, and pita bread. Had a lot of flavor, and A LOT of garlic. My mouth tasted like garlic all night. We both ordered the beef stroganoff. It looks like there's not enough meat but if you cut it all up it's the perfect amount without over powering the over all flavor of the dish. The meat was melt-in-your mouth tender. The noodles were the perfect chew. It had a great creamy sauce with the classic sour cream addition. We ended the night with a crème brûlée which was small and nothing to write home about. Overall, definitely worth trying especially if you're craving beef stroganoff read more

What an upgrade from the old Jessie Jean's! Young chef Nokes (sp?) has some serious skills. I had the Caesar salad and the NY Strip meal. The dressing on the Caesar was perfect and the roasted corn added another dimension of flavor. The NY Strip was cooked to perfection. It was tender and juicy. That bernaise...I hardly know where to begin. The broccolini and fingerling potatoes were cooked and seasoned perfectly. So much flavor. My friend had the beet salad with goat cheese. I tried some of it and it was delicious--especially that goat cheese. He had the Ahi Tuna and demolished it before I could even get a bite. Lol. I also ordered the lemon/ olive oil/ rosemary cake for dessert. When it arrived I was deeply skeptical. Looked like someone had over-baked a cake. When my fork slid into it I was even more skeptical. It was crumbly and stuff. But the taste? The flavor? Amazing. I couldn't stop eating it, while wondering the whole time how it was possible. The rosemary was very subtle but the lemon exploded on my palate in the most wonderful way. And the texture really worked. There was a delicious lemon whipped cream that helped add some moisture, but the cake in spite of appearances wasn't actually dry. We will definitely be back. A couple of years ago, my wife and I visited this restaurant shortly after it opened. The tuna I had was excellent; however, we left feeling it was somewhat overpriced. When invited to go out to dinner with some friends who picked Table 25, we decided to give it a second chance. We paid over $100 for dinner, sharing a bottle of wine with our friends, and got: Trout with skin that wasn't crispy and a flavor that was just okay; "Roasted" vegetables that were cut into big pieces and were raw with no flavor; Mashed parsnips that just didn't pair well with the trout (the flavor just didn't work); and, A mix-up on the salad (received an arugula salad rather than a Caesar that we ordered). And, it's loud. The restaurant can't help this without reducing the volume of tables or working on the acoustics. But, not really what we personally like. I will say that the service was excellent. But, we certainly won't be back. There are so many other great, up-scale restaurants to choose from. As we left, in fact, I commented that I would rather have gone to Lucky Slice than have that. The next evening, I basically replicated our dinner from the night before (salmon instead of trout - no trout at Smith's) and far surpassed our experience from the night before. If I spend north of $100 on a dinner for two, I really expect to leave highly satisfied. Silly me. read more

The Ogden restaurant scene feels like it's all over the place, with historical, kitschy, trendy and divey options galore. Sometimes you just want clean food in a clean place where you can zen out with your food. This is that kind of place. When I'm starving, I get a burger and this was a beautiful example. Girls week at Snowbasin ended w this truly 5-star dinner. All of us had amazing meals. Starting w the pickles, biscuits and Brussels sprouts. The trout, wagyu, risotto and the stroganoff were perfectly made and perfectly seasoned. Even the yogurt topping the stroganoff melded w the flavors in an unexpected way that elevated the dish as 3 of us got it and all agreed. Last but not least, the cocktails were award winning including the "penicilia " ginger w bourbon drink. I asked our server who was the chef and owner, and she told me they were once bartenders and clearly used their knowledge to craft this dining experience. Great to have this in Ogden. read more
