We really enjoyed this meal. Live music was a nice level so you can still have conversations. Kevin our waiter (he's also a bartender) was amazing and actually took this from 4 to 5 stars. For the food. We got deviled eggs as appetizer. Wedge salad and Caesar salad. The special filet with bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp scampi. Crème brûlée for desert. Deviled eggs were very good. Wedge salad was also very good. Dressing is almost more of a ranch taste which the girlfriend loves. The Caesar wasn't as crisp as I like. But I'm also picky here. Shrimp scampi had good flavor. Nice big shrimp. Noodles were a little over cooked but not enough to mess it up. The filet and scallops was very good. We are steak snobs so girlfriend wishes she would have gotten it with the Demi glaze on the side to better know the steak flavor. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and it was very tender. Crème brûlée was super good. Has a hint of lemon which is interesting. Nice fresh berries made it very yummy. I very much like this place and we will ABSOLUTELY be back. read more

Our first visit here and I'm oh so very glad our great Yelp Elite friends Vic and Pam Murray joined us. The ambiance was white table cloth and elegance. Fantastic classy piano ensemble in the background. Surrounded by Varga Girl portraits and the Chairman of the Board "Sinatra" overseeing the entire restaurant from an overhead corner. Dinner was nice. Begin really well. Was asked what kind of ice I wanted in my drink.... small cubes or one large cube! One large cube of course! Tomato soup and lobster bisque were both excellent. So was the wedge salad. Loved having herbed butter to go with our bread. I would suggest that if there are changes to or unavailability of items on the menu, these be stated at the beginning of service. We were thinking about the beef Wellington but when ready to order were told there wasn't any. Then we opted for the Seabass with tomato coulis and we were told it now it's on risotto. Settled on the Seabass but asked for green beans. The Seabass was excellent, cooked perfectly. However those green beans were nearly raw. I was a tad dismayed that the waiter removed an empty plate in front of one diner while the rest of us were still eating. All in all, it was a pleasant evening. If we return on a night with music, we will opt to select a table further away from the stage. read more

I am sorry for this rating but I received really poor service on my last visit. The place was packed and when we arrived were told our table was not ready so we decided to wait at the bar. Fine got a drink all good. They told us our table was ready and we were seated. Our waitresses brought us water and took our appetizer order. The bacon wrapped dates were delish by the way. They came out really fast. Then the waiting started. We waited a while for her to take our next course order. We got our salads, again food was amazing. By now we have been at our tables for over one hour and still our main course had not come out. She never came to our table to check on us. My husband had to get up and get her to asked her about our food. Two couples that came after us left and we were still seating there with our empty salad plates. The main course took about 45 minutes from the time we finished our salads!!!! Sea bass was out of this world, but by the time I got honestly I wasn't even hungry anymore. We wait again for her to clear the table. My husband got up again to go find her. We got a dessert, ate half of it and we had to ask a food busser to bring a to go bag. Table 13 is a hidden gem. It is perfect for a date night or business meeting. I really enjoyed the food and service. They have some of the best steak and macaroni, by far one of the best in DFW! I didn't take any pictures because it is fairly in the dark side inside of the restaurant. I went for dinner and I can say it is reasonably priced. I highly recommend the steak and Mac and cheese. read more

This is a high end establishment. The type where the writers remove the bread crumbs with a little device. You know the kind. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Several friends and I experienced lunch together at Table 13 during Restaurant Week. We were greeted warmly and one of the things I first noticed in the entry was the wall deco of famous actors past. Eclectic. The dining area was intimate and already noted how this place will serve well for romantic diners with its dim lit ambiance. Our server took a little bit longer to get our drink order and our selection for our meal; it was a busy lunch hour and with the number of other patrons dining made the noise level moderate but not so noisy where my party and I couldn't carry a conversation. Once we everything was settled, our food came out well presented and was very much enjoyed. I would definitely return here to for a dinner experience. read more

Normally, I would give this place 4 stars for the great food and service, but one of those things has fallen off significantly. I still recommend this place for the delicious Chilean Sea Bass, but I now include a disclaimer that your server may disappear for a while. Our last visit included disappearing acts which lasted about 15 minutes each (i.e. ordered 2 cocktails and got them 15 minutes later along with the water we should've received right away). Keep in mind that there were only 4 tables needing to be attended to in the entire restaurant. There was no reason for the service to be so lackluster. If you go, know what you want right away, order everything as soon as you can, because it may be a while before you see your server again. I will tell you that the food and cocktails are excellent, which is how 2 stars were still given for such a terrible dining experience. read more

Came by during restaurant week. They've changed the menu a little from last year. Wish they still had lobster bisque as an appetizer. Nonetheless the wedge salad was quite tasty. I got steak Diane and my date got the sea bass. My steak was juicy and cooked to perfection so flavorful! His sea bass was good and so was the risotto but when he agreed my steak stole the show! For desert the chocolate torte was very dense but my creme brûlée was perfect. The fresh fruit was a good addition and it wasn't overly sweet. I lived the ambiance and live piano music. Our table of 4 had Restaurant Week reservations on a Sunday evening. I had never been to Table 13 and was looking forward to trying something new in the area, especially with a special tasting/fixed price menu for RW 2020. We were quickly seated in a booth at our reservation time and had good service from our water throughout. The gentleman that greeted us first who was not our waiter (I assume the manager?) didn't seem to catch my father-in-law's request to learn more about the available red wines. He quickly pointed at the full wine list, but I felt like he knew we were interested in the RW menu and thus assumed we only wanted the cabernet from that list. Odd. When the actual waiter came by to introduce himself, the manager interrupts the waiter and says "they want the RW cabernet". We didn't say that, but ok haha. The RW menu had a solid variety of their best sellers, and we generally all enjoyed our food (except dessert). The bacon-wrapped dates were small but excellent, especially with a bite of accompanying arugula. The wedge salad had tons of extra toppings like egg, pickled red onions, and a pickled caperberries which aren't typical but made it really flavorful and interesting. My steak Diane tasted excellent, but the steak was so thin and covered in gravy that I wasn't sure what bite I was getting each time. I wished the steak was a bit more.. steak like and not flat and thin. I will say it was very tender and still delicious as leftovers. Accompanying table bread was a let down. I was hoping for warm, crusty, but soft white or sourdough bread like at Oceannaire, but it was too airy, dry, and not glutenous enough. Perhaps that's a good thing, since we left more stomach room for the food. The biggest let down was the dessert, which is a shame since you want to end it on a high, memorable note. The bread pudding was too gelatinous and homogenous in texture. It was like eating a pressed pudding. I much favor bread pudding with chunks of discernable bread. Even worse was the chocolate kahlua cake, which was the driest cake I've ever eaten. All 3 of us that ordered it only took 1 bite, though devoured the accompanying coffee ice cream. I had to leave 3 stars instead of 4 because the odd manager interaction throughout the evening (seemed disinterested and forced in speaking with us) and the fact that there are so many similar menus around DFW, especially Addison, that the food really needs to stand out to make 4+ stars. *COVID note: Booths had a clear divider in between, and thus were fully booked throughout the night. Some tables were not used in an effort to socially distance folks. Staff were all wearing masks, and table cloths were changed in between guests. read more

Drove up from San Antonio to visit family in Dallas and wanted to dine out at a local restaurant for a pre Christmas celebration dinner. The food and live music was fabulous. Reminded me of a restaurant in Manhattan. Loved the whimsical touch with the animals on our drinks. Our waiter Clayton aka "Blake" was really great and made our night out a fun experience. It's almost amazing except the host with a little attitude. But that's alright, we still had a swell time! They have live jazz band which is awesome. They are in the neighborhood that doesn't look like a plaza for fine dining restaurant but it didn't stop them from getting so many guests coming in! We were kinda late for dinner and still waited till 9 to get a table( the restaurant is completely full till 10 on a Saturday). The ice cream drinks are yummy!!! And the sun pick is awesome! I don't see many restaurants making drinks with sweet tea vodka, and here they are, offering everything I wanted. The bartender still remembered me after the meal only cuz I asked for an extra piece of lemon, this is the hospitality I am talking about! Our server, Peter, is great too! He is funny and attentive! We absolutely enjoyed every dish and every side, we ate until we just couldn't talk anymore. The pork chop is huge! And the mushroom pasta (I think it has a different name) was just wonderful! The dessert was just alright comparing to the food, maybe it's just that we ate too much. read more

We had been going to T13 regularly since it opened. With all the Dallas dining options to choose from , we haven't been back for over a year. I booked a reservation for Mother's Day, thinking it would be great.... but it was anything but!!! I was greeted with so many signs telling me what I couldn't do or wear. Turn off! Had a 1 pm reservation, saw several empty booths , but waited 15 minutes to be seated. The singer( Melani Skybell) was so loud for a Sunday afternoon lunch. The menu was a limited, overpriced hodgepodge of food offerings with very few choices! I thought it was New Year Eve!!! The server was tough to understand, and inattentive. Just couldn't justify a $125 plus Sunday lunch of food that I wouldn't normally order or want to eat. Forced to eat deviled eggs?!?!? We got up and left before this bad spark became a flaming disaster ... T13 needs a makeover, badly. Sorry to report all of this cause it was a wonderful cozy place 3 years ago! read more

3/11/16 Update - We love this place! The filet and sea bass are fantastic, and the grilled romaine salad is amazing!! Our server was Elizabeth, and she was so friendly and a complete delight!!! We will definitely request her next time!! This was our first time here, and it was a wonderful experience! I had the salmon and my husband had the filet, and it was great!! Third time visiting Table 13 and each time, doesn't disappoint. Their $3 Martinis are a deal unlike none other. And I've had their salmon BLT, their burger and recently their lemon caper chicken......all delicious!!! Can't wait to return but next time, I may go for dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. I would say it was like being in a large fancy dining room at a mansion. It wasn't too loud and the waiter was very attentive. He knew the recipes and made excellent suggestions for both food and beverages. I asked if there were gluten free options and he replied anything without bread can be prepared accordingly and the beef was grass fed. He even offered the fried calamari with rice flour. To me, that is impressive and the clear indication they take great pride in cooking fresh quality dishes as requested. The food was a little slow coming out, but the quality of each dish made it worth the wait. To kick things off, I had the Shrimp cocktail with a lemon/thyme pesto. It tasted even better than it sounds. For the entree, get the Seabass with leek fondue (there is a strong french infleunce in the cuisine). The comination of flavor and richness was perfectly balanced. Both dishes were unique to their menu and simply amazing. Considering the local competition, the prices were very reasonable and the quality was not comprimised. Wife had the shrimp scampi and said she liked it. I had the filet mignon, kt was a little under what I ordered but was still good. I asked med rare +, got under med rare. Thus only 4 stars. I recently dined at Table 13 for dinner. For starters, we had the calamari; honestly, it wasn't the best. It was flash fried and had a very light flaky battered coat and it wasn't bad, it simply wasn't that good as it seemed to be missing something. But moving on to the main, I had the Chilean sea bass and my date had the pecan-crusted salmon, and let me say that the food was prepared to perfection. Lastly, for dessert, we had the creme brulee and the chocolate cake and both were delectable (the creme brulee was excellent, it had great consistency and wasn't runny or soupy and the chocolate cake was an ample portion and was moist and very very rich). The service was good maybe a little over-attentive for my tastes but better that than the alternative. The ambiance was nice as they had live music playing, and the noise level was moderate so you could have a conversation. The drinks were decent (not spectacular but decent). All in all the price point for the experience was ok (the drinks were overpriced but in most establishments they are and I do believe that the salmon entree was a bit overpriced as well given the fact that it was salmon and pecan-crusted salmon is not an original or unique dish). But as stated the experience was good and I would go back despite some of my constructive comments. Rex read more

My husband went there recently to celebrate being "cancer free". We had a reservation and had requested a quiet booth. When we got there there wasn't a booth or a table for us. This had also happened to a large group I was part of in December. After giving the greeter a large tip she moved us to another table. The meal was good, however, my creme brûlée was the consistence of Cheese Cake and my husbands cake was very dry. Probably won't give it another try for a while. read more

I really appreciate the classic atmosphere of this place. I've been twice so far and the service is always fantastic and the setting feels intimate with the layout, but you still feel close to the music (all the way the front). Let's talk food..honestly it's a little underwhelming given the prices but still not bad at all. I think it depends on what you order. I usually go with the salmon with risotto which is okay, but not excellent. I would go back however. I think the food would benefit from an extra touch of seasoning. read more

Warning - This is not a business dinner spot. More of a romantic vibe. I sent my boss and an interview candidate here on recommendation from Yelp! reviews. The food looked yummy and the reviews were high. Helped that it was near our offices as well. My boss arrived to a piano player singing and playing Frank Sinatra which is fine but the entire evening it was continued love songs with soft lighting. It was a bit awkward to say the least for the interview candidate and my boss (both male luckily). A female interview candidate and male interviewer would have been even worse. My boss said the food was decent but nothing to really write home about. read more

First time visiting here and definitely not the last! Sat at the bar for a later dinner and drinks and were quickly welcomed both at the door and the bar. We had amazing service at the bar from Don!! He quickly got us drinks and menus while making multiple other orders being brought to him. We settled on the deviled eggs, steak diane, lemon caper chicken, bananas foster, bread pudding and kahlua cake. The deviled eggs came out amazingly quick and were very good... surprised they didnt try to make a little different deviled egg but kept this a very basic deviled egg. It was a solid basic deviled egg you cant go wrong with. The bread and butter they bring is spot on as the bread is warm and the butter is whipped making it easily spreadable (most restaurants miss this so huge win here). The steak diane was just delicious, Don the bartender recommended this dish and man oh man was he right!! The steak was cooked to perfection! The chicken and capers is a light and flavorful dish and also made very well. The artichokes were yummo! The bananas foster was the dessert win for sure!! Hands down the best dessert. The bread pudding was good as well. I'd pass on the kahlua cake as it was much too dry and just not good. Live band and welcoming atmosphere this is a wonderful dining experience. read more

The service, the jazz and the incredible food make this one of our favorite restaurants in the DFW area. We had such a wonderful anniversary dinner here. We had reservations, which I think are vital. They were busy, but we never felt rushed. The food was amazing. We started with calamari, split the lobster bisque, steak Dianne (the sauce was so rich and perfectly seasoned), and the ribeye (great marbling and cooked perfectly).
