I always order the passion fruit royal tea for the hubby, the mango pineapple with the basil seeds for me, and a spicy popcorn chicken for us to share. Always comes out tasting great. Haven't had a dissatisfied item so far. Every time the service feels slow, but that's cus they look understaffed and over worked. The workers look like they are truly working hard to fill orders and take orders when people are waiting. Pay attention to your receipt. Their menu board states there is no sales tax for takeout orders. They tax you for dining/drinking in their shop, as other restaurants do. Have you ever been asked if you are taking it to go? I always take mine to go and I see plenty of people doing the same. Today, while actually reviewing my receipt, I'm taxed extra. My receipt says I'm dining in. I am not. Nor was I asked. If you don't pay attention, they will automatically charge you for dining in and collect an extra tax. Sure it's only a few cents here and there as an individual customer. But do the math. How many drinks are they making a day? How many take out customers come thru without paying attention and they just keep taxing all the take out orders? They are taking advantage of you, of me. It's not good business practice trying to be slick taxing all these customers on each item taken to go. I'm coming in later this week and will pay attention to your employees processes and my receipt. If I'm taxed again, I will call the Better Business Bereau to pay you a visit. They have limited seating so it is best to just grab a drink and go elsewhere. The tea here is a good thumbs up for me. They have a lot of options that you can select from. Although it can get a little overwhleming, you can always see what their top drinks are. I always get the usual roasted oolong, jasmine milk tea, and almond milk tea with the usual toppings: boba, pudding, or grass jelly. Drinks are pretty standard here. You can always adjust your sweetness and ice level so you dont have to complain that they gypped you with all the ice. This is not the best boba shop but it does get the job done. The milk tea was delicious, mediocre pearls but some of that could be personal preference for more firm pearls than mushy. It took ten minutes to get my drink with one order in front of me. Lots of seating available, the standard boba-shop blasting volume of Asian music videos in the background. I lowered my rating due to the place feeling pretty dirty. There were visible dirt rings around the bases of the table, black spots across the floor where food has clearly been stuck for a long time, and I stepped on trash on the floor. Floor clearly has not been swept for several hours, and the mopping is questionable from the grime around the bases of the tables. Definitely get your drink to go if you are concerned about health or have young children who play on or near the floor. read more

I ordered the winter melon lemon (apparently a T4 favorite) with the new melon popping boba as the "topping". It's a great combination of sweet and sour with each mouthful providing a tangible interplay of firm spherules popping with evanescence to silky smoothness. 5 stars! But, when I placed 2 orders of the ever popular egg puffs (1 regular, 1 red bean), the greasy-faced guy in glasses behind the cashier taking my order loudly harrumphed and threw his hands in the air. I'm sorry that my 2 orders of an item on your menu have inconvenienced you. I ordered a passion fruit smoothie with fig jelly and when I came home I got a drink that tasted like nothing. I went back and the girl gave me attitude about it and said, "so you want us to remake it" expecting I would say no. Her coworkers also gave me the same attitude like they didn't make a mistake at all while giving each other exaggerated facial expressions and talked about it right in front of me. Time: Late afternoon on a Tuesday... Location: In a strip mall, across the parking lot from Walmart. Food: I ordered Mango Royal Tea topped with cream and with boba, 80% sweetness. It was packed with mango flavor but it was overly sweet and I could not taste the tea. The boba was delicious, sweet and good chewiness. Probably not something I would order again. Service: I understand that this is a new establishment, but there seemed to be a lack of order and efficiency. I waited about 20 minutes for my drink. When I came in with only a couple people in line and many waiting for their drinks. The staff seemed disorganized and needed direction. Drinks were unfinished and finished drinks unclaimed. More than one party had to ask about their drinks since their numbers were called too quietly. With more experience, I can see the service improving. Mommy tip: No changing table, no high chairs. In this day and age, it's almost hard to distinguish boba places from one another but I believe that T4 can be a good exception. 1A) My ears weren't bleeding from listening to loud edm or slow jams and rnb that typically are played at milk tea places 1B) I could actually hear the person sitting across from me 2) I could clearly hear the cashier and she understood my order 3) the place wasn't filthy with trash on the floor or tables 4) the fried squid was actually pretty good quality for a boba shop (squid was fried nice and crispy and the the squid rings were still wholly intact and not breaking apart) 5) menu was easy to read and the ordering process was illustrated clearly and was easy to follow Pretty good experience! I've been frequenting this place since I moved to Dublin in August, right around the time they opened. I still think it's the best boba place in the area. For the first few months, service was really good and they had a nice, pleasant staff. Recently, they've been messing up my order and on one occasion, the young girl taking my order gave me attitude, which wasn't appreciated. My boyfriend and I come here almost every weekend and we normally get a drink each and maybe a snack or two. On a Saturday night with one other customer there, we ordered two large drinks, their new popcorn chicken rice bowl, and an order of French fries. Multiple times before, they've given me a regular when I ordered a large so this time, I made sure I clearly said I wanted a "large" black potted milk tea and my boyfriend said he wanted a popcorn chicken rice bowl. When I told her I also wanted an order of fries, she smacked her lips like "seriously?" Not to mention she put our order in as a regular size black potted milk tea and a curry chicken rice bowl. I didn't notice until I looked at my receipt. Upon telling her both mistakes, she gave me change for the difference of the rice bowl price with a "sorry". When they called our number for the drinks, my order was just an oolong milk tea, not a black potted milk tea. Once again, I had to notify them of this error. They offered for me to keep the mistake drink but I really just wanted my original order. Worst experience at this location yet. The thing that turned me off the most was her attitude. Really didn't appreciate that. If the quality of the boba and tea wasn't as good as it is, I would stop coming here. read more

My go to is the Royal Fresh Milk Tea with Angel Pearl and this place always seems to get the perfect level of sweetness down. It might have been just my luck, but both times I've been to this place, I've had bad experiences. The first time I was there, while I was standing in line looking at the menu, a family of 5 cut in front of me. I was slightly annoyed but decided to just not to say anything. However, this family took their sweet time deciding and ordering their drinks, including letting their five year-old son decide what he wants by listing every single thing that's on the menu for him...I was very tempted to just leave but at this point I had already waited in line for 10 minutes before this family cut in front of me, so I decided to stay. 15 minutes later after every family member had finished ordering, the staff announced that there's no more (large or small) tapiocas. FML. The second time I went, I was the only one in line. I ordered a small oolong milk tea with tapioca. Thinking that I would get my drink relatively fast, I waited for at least 20 minutes. The staff was friendly, but they seem to be all busy making the drinks for a large group of people that might be picking up their orders later. When I finally got my tea, they made my drink with small tapioca instead of the regular size. The staff was nice enough to re-make my drink but overall, I've just been fed up with this place with the wait time. The tea itself was a-okay. Most tea shops flavor their tapioca with black sugar but I don't think they do. I'd still try T4 if that was the only shop around but in general, would avoid. read more

This T4 has been open for awhile now and finally had the chance to come try it out. I've been to the other T4 in San Leandro and this one definitely tastes better! First off parking is easy since it's in a huge plaza and there a lot of rows to choose from. The place itself is tiny and not many people can relax/chill. There is tables and chairs, but nothing to support huge groups. The milk tea here is a step above quickly. I usually get the Rose Milk Tea and it is my go to! Boba is also a bit better, but still nothing to wow yourself over. Haven't had the chance to order their food, but it smells good whenever I walk in. If you're in the area and want boba/milk tea, skip Quickly and come here! The only annoyance I can see other people getting concerned with is the workers here. Not all of them speak perfect English, so getting your order right is sometimes difficult. 3.5/5* read more

Ordered pearl milk tea, taro milk tea and popcorn chicken. - Milk tea has a nice flavor but slightly water down... Maybe it is just today. Pearls are perfect, lightly sweeten and chewy-soft. - Taro milk tea is made from powder. Although can't compare to fresh taro but surprisingly good. - Basil popcorn chicken is fresh and crispy. I hate to go to places attempt to use garlic and spice cover up unfresh fry chicken meat. T4's is much fresher than other older bubble tea shops in Dublin/Pleasanton. Please keep this up! :) read more
