There are very few boba shops that I love as I always compare them to that of Taiwan's. Even though this shop is originally from Taiwan, I was still skeptical as many Taiwanese boba shops still turn out un-extraordinary. However this shop got me flying back to Taiwan with its sugar and ice options as well as the boba texture. It was perfectly sweet with the right consistency in terms of stickiness. Would definitely recommend! read more

T4 - Honey Green Tea with mini bobas (they ran out of big bobas) but 30% sugar and ice! - Bubble Tea Near Me - Millbrae, California

3.5 stars. The boba drinks are pretty on par with Sharetea in my opinion. They let you customize your drink in terms of sweetness, ice, and topping, which I so greatly appreciate. Okinawa milk tea's can be cloying sweet, but here, it's not the case. I always miss happy hour which occurs on the weekdays until like 730PM. One time, I got there at 735 -_- so close yet so far from even cheaper boba. I'd skip the food. The mozarella sticks are nothing to write home about, and I think the popcorn chicken at Eggetes is way better. Although if I had to put it in order, Eggettes chicken then T4 basil chicken then Costco frozen popcorn chicken then I guess Quickly chicken. They do give a decent amount of chicken so props for that. Parking is all metered outside unless you're lucky to find a residential spot. Can get pretty crowded Fri-Sun, but the line goes pretty fast. Also they have some board games you can take over to the ample seating area. Good place to hang out if you're in the area! read more

My favorite is the Grass Jelly Jasmine Green Tea with added pudding. I'm not a big fan of the boba balls. If you don't adjust the sweetness, the drink will come out super sweet! Sometimes I forget to let them know that I only want 30% or 50% sweetness. Maybe the staff should ask also for those who are forgetful like me. Anyway, I've been here a couple of times. They're clean and have plenty of seats. I haven't tried any of their food. They give 15% discounts to students and have happy hour. Make sure you get there before 7:30pm for happy hour! read more

I ordered the almond milk tea which i figured i cant go wrong with that but it turned out too sweet. My husband got his drink and it was very bland/water down. read more

There was literally a piece of metal on my chicken and absolutely no offers for refund. Customer service 101 people

I'm unsure whether this is a fair comparison, but just like Quickly, T4 also stems from Taiwan and is better quality than Quickly. A clean & spacious shop with its wi-fi info taped on a corner of the tables. There were tv monitors showing health/home exercise commercials you'll see during daytime TV or at doctor's offices; kind of odd, but that's not what you came for. I ordered the pearl milk tea, standard sweet, standard amount of ice. For everything standard, I thought it was pretty good: not too sweet and the tea flavor was on point. When I'm in the area, I'll make a return trip and try their other tea drinks. read more

OOOOooooooo the Oolong Tea with Cream keeps me coming back. OOoooooo Boy Oooo Hooooolong has it been since I had one? It's time I get another one. I also like how they have some board games to mess around with... Very Good.. http://www.youtube.com/AssassinationEXTREME Stache Approved read more

Like the variety of drinks and how it's customizable from sweetness and ice levels. I get the roasted oolong tea, 0% sweetness since I try to avoid sugar as much as possible and enjoy the roasted taste. Minus 1 star since the floor was dirty and the bathroom was not clean during my visit. read more

Great milk tea drinks and the food here is just as good. They even have a happy hour Mon-Fri. which is awesome for a milk tea shop. Large space with plenty of seating so its a great place to hang out and possibly play the many board games they have here. Great boba place in Millbrae will definitely come back when in the area. read more

This is my favorite boba place in Millbrae. There's so many flavors to choose from and the workers are polite. The boba tea place is very cute too. Also, they have straws that are individually plastic wrapped. This should be mandatory for every boba place, but unfortunately it's not... read more

Honey Peach is my go to. Can't really go wrong with it. T-4 is fairly consistent in all of their locations. I appreciate that.

Not a bad boba place. Lots of foot traffic from youngsters. The Jasmine tea was good but the boba was a bit mushy. I didn't like the rose tea though. read more

This place is pretty awesome! Plenty of seats, & games! If I was younger and lived closer, I could see how this place would be the place to hang out. I had the honey grass jelly drink and eggettes. The eggettes were so good! They were very eggy, highly recommend them! The drink I had was a little too sweet, but I did get it at 100%, next time I think I'll get 80%. I believe if you buy 10 drinks, you get 1 free, so make sure you use your 5 STAR! I would definitely come back if I'm in the area and craving something to drink! read more

I frequent this place often because I work nearby; no matter how often I come here, their service is always a hit or miss but mainly it's pretty bad. They've messed up on my drinks 50% of the time and I don't even order anything complicated, just wintermelon milk tea with small bobaaaa! Half the time the cashier isn't even paying attention to the customers, but rather use his or her phone. I only continue to come here because I love their drinks. They take super long to make drinks too, so if you're in a hurry, this isn't the right place to go! read more

Can pick sweetness and ice level Recommend higher than 50% sweet Sesame tea was ok. The royal Milk tea tasted watered down. Good boba though read more

I go into T4 about once a week for a drink and a quick snack. Every time I come in here, it is super clean and Covid safe. I feel like part of the family, because I'm always greeted and asked how my day is going. This place is truly a gem in our little town. I suggest people to go give them a try. You will not be disappointed! My favorite drink here is passion fruit royal tea. read more

I live in SF and we don't have a T4 around here, but whenever I'm in Millbrae, this is my go-to boba place! The milk tea is average...nothing special but nothing bad either. They give you the choice to ask for half and half milk so that's a good thing, but otherwise there's nothing much to say. read more

The beverage is pretty good. There are some card games and comics books for you to kill time with your friends. read more

I noticed this place had opened some time back while I was back in the city staying with my other MIL. There's been quite a few boba places opening up and closing down over the past five years I've been around here but amazingly don't always have the time to try it out when I am here. Finally decided to head down the street to try this place out before my husband got into town. He knows me best.... everyday is a boba drink for me. Either its boba or starbucks..I just can't live without them. Tonight I decided to try their passionfruit green tea and their royal milk tea. I normally order my drinks with 100% sugar since most of the time the drinks aren't sweet enough for me. This particular place...I should have asked before ordering it. My passionfruit ended up wayyyy to sweet and it wasn't that good at ALL. Same goes for the royal milk tea...it had an odd taste to it that I can't quite describe. I normally down two drinks like its nothing but these two I ordered that day... took me quite a bit of time to finish both. I don't think I would be back here. I actually prefer the dessert place down the street from here which offers a larger variety of drinks and desserts. Yelp Review 2017 Challenge 36/100 read more

I got the Panda drink while my other two sisters got the potted drink. The panada drink is really sweet, so it you like sweet things get it. I tried my sisters potted drink and it was terrible but you need to try things and decide on your own. read more

So glad T4 is on DoorDash. Most convenient way to get your fix when you're at work. They have a great variety of drinks and some great snacks as well. read more

My favorite boba place whenever I come to the bay! Love ordering the regular milk tea (which is the Earl grey milk tea) with boba and egg pudding with 30% sweetness. It's a fun place to hang out since they have little games at the store you can use to play while waiting or stay to drink your boba. Or just bring your own deck of cards to play (I've done this a few times). Wait can sometimes be long if there's a lot of people but still worth it :) read more

Regular boba joint, but dude!!! How are you gonna play the movie IT in the background. Kids passing through are getting traumatized. F bombs and gore while trying to drink boba. read more

Placed a pickup order and it was ready when I got there. Could barely taste the tea and I didn't like the creamer they used. Overall, the drink tasted watered down, but the boba was good! read more

Definitely one of my favorite boba stops! I've only ever tried their potted milk tea (I really need to venture out of my comfort zone with milk tea flavors). Every time I come here, there's usually a line but the wait is reasonable and pretty quick (unless you're ordering food then of course you gotta wait). The food selection is pretty good (I love their chicken, an order of that gets me going for two meals). The interior is nice and they have games so you can stick around for a while and play with your friends! The staff are friendly. I will be returning and ordering more chicken (and a different milk tea flavor, maybe). read more

Like this milk tea place! Neat and simple! Like their fresh royal milk tea's smooth texture and the sweetness is about right for me. They offer a 15% off discount if you have your student ID. read more

Got the pearl milk tea with boba. drink was ok but the boba was not. it was hard and not that soft chewy consistency like gummy candy. not yummy at all. drinks came out fast but it doesn't make up for the quality. i'll stick to onyx or aqua club! read more

I ordered a sampler platter and mango smoothie. And I paid for it it 5 minutes later my number was called and they said they ran out of mango smoothie. Then when I heard my number again they said they ran out of fries and I was frustrated. It would be great to check the supply before putting in the order. If I knew about it before I paid everything would've been alright. This place has great drinks and food, just not service. read more

bad service and just OK drinks... came in around 12pm today to get a drink since i haven't went to this T4 location. I stood in front of the cash register for one minute as the cashier texted his life away. when i finally said something, he took our orders. i ordered a rose milk tea and jasmine green milk tea with grass jelly. typical boba place where you can pick the % of sweetness and ice level. i got 30% sweetness for the rose milk tea and it was still a bit sweet for my tasting. my friend got the jasmine green milk tea and the grass jelly was super bland. it had no flavor and was pretty disappointing. the drinks also took a long time to be ready. when i went to get the drinks, again, the cashier was just ignoring me and i jus took the drinks and left. overall, just ok drinks and bad service. i won't be back, at least to this location. read more

One of my go to spots for Boba Tea. I usually order Thai Tea or Classical Rose Milk Tea. The tea/caffeine effect is pretty strong but I don't mind it as I'm a tea drinker. My order consists of normal ice and normal sweetness but I still find the Thai tea to be a little extra sweeter than Thai tea from other locations but I don't mind it since I like my drinks sweet. All in all it's a nice hangout spot to play old school board games and drink your Boba tea. They have a nice rewards program too which makes me come back even more. read more

Drinks are decent, not the fresh tea taste I prefer but still good! Thumbs up for having popcorn chicken when ya girls cravin' :)

I usually order the Roasted oolong milk tea with less sweet and less ice. Perhaps the only store that offer the option with less ice in this area. The roasted oolong milk tea and popcorn chicken are by far the best in town. Tried their grass jelly milk tea this time and its delicious. I will be back for some more. read more

I'm Shirley I stopped in at T4 this afternoon. What a Great place! There were many customers both seated and in line to order. It is a nice family place and good prices. I had a watermelon drink and it was DELICIOUS! I recommend T4 to everyone. 2 THUMBS UP TO T4! read more

So-so drinks and terrible customer service. The last time I tried to go there it was 1108am and they had an 11am opening time. I tried to pull the door open but it was locked. I could see three workers, none of them acknowledged me. One of them walked towards the door but did not come to the door and still did not acknowledge me. This was not the first time I've experience poor customer service here and the wait times are often unnecessarily long. I won't have to worry about this as I won't be returning. Tiger Tea and Eggettes are nearby and much better options than this place! read more

If I can give this store negative stars I would, the store isn't busy at all and here I am ordered at 6:14 time stamped on my receipt and its already 6:41!!! I approached the counter and was told that they're still making the cream, mind you there are 3 people behind the counter with a store that isn't even full. If only I can attach a photo I would, so disappointing WILL never go back here! Time check about to post 7:02pm There's only a couple of people ahead of me, it shouldn't be almost half an hour wait! So disorganized! read more

Good drinks! Knocked a star off cause sometimes the drinks come out really sticky - they don't wipe it down well enough before handing it to you. Very good boba and snacks though. Fyi, super busy during after school hours! read more

This is my favorite t4! The drinks here are really good and refreshing I usually get the passion fruit green tea with boba 50% sweet and 80% ice. The popcorn chicken is my favorite snack from t4 they make the best popcorn chicken out of all the boba places. The rice dishes are not very good so I don't recommend it. It tastes like frozen rice warmed up in a microwave. But everything else is really enjoyable. The atmosphere is nice it's very bright and makes the store look very open! read more
