In looooooooove with their korean banana slush and their hojicha banana one omg. I still have dreams about it haha i love visiting san fran for food pretty Much lol and drinks and this is one of the best places for some yummy drinks ugh. Come to LA pleaseeeeeee
So glad to have the official Boba Guys close to home. I was happy they accept their gift cards too. High quality drinks. Friendly staff. Free parking in front. Nearby park. Quiet neighborhood. Zero complaints!
We love The Burrow!! Been to this location multiple times. Parking is fairly easy. I wanted to write a review just to say you need to check out their seasonal menu!!! My partner's favorite is Mango Sago, so I asked if they have something similar to that, and the guy recommended Mango Fields, which is amazing and even better than Mango Sago. I usually get Lychee Oolong, which is also amazing. Also sign up for the Boba Guys rewards program to get cool rewards like a free topping!
I placed an order online for pickup and ordered the horchata with boba. I took a sip of my drink when I was already in my car and drove off realizing how watered down my drink was. It had absolutely no flavor, basically like water and a hint of cinnamon. When I got home which was not that far, I took out all the ice and saw that I was left with only half a cup of liquid and some boba. You're telling me I ordered half a cup of ice?! There was also no less ice or no ice option. After taking out all the ice i took a few more sips. Boba was rock hard I had to spit it out and a lot of them were in clusters. Horchata was still watery. Taking out all the ice didn't help. I used to come here often and order the same drink but never had this issue. there are so many other places down in SSF, Burlingame and millbrae for better quality drinks and boba
I did realize this was a boba guys. It was a nice cause it's in a convenient location! Boba guys is always a good move! The strawberry matcha is a classic. Great matcha and great fresh strawberries. I tried their seasonal drink, the sapin sapin. It was pretty good. The jack fruit was a little too over powering. Definitely not a chuggable drink. Regardless, boba is based on preferences. The Burrow is a great place for boba!
My order took WAY less than a minutes to be ready!! I got the brown sugar hojicha, and it was super good! It's a pretty small spot, but the staff are friendly and the service is sosososo fast!
The nicest people work here, especially the gentleman with the best service, the most positive attitude and the kindest heart in the business! Bonus...I only come in once a year (because sadly, I don't live here anymore), but that doesn't stop this guy from remembering my order down to the detail! He is definitely an asset to the company! Lol...did I mention that they have the best drinks and I drove up from San Diego and headed straight here first, to make sure I got my fix before they closed!
Strictly for customer service today or complete lack of it... Came with my team (17 people) after lunch for more treats and about half of us ended up ordering drinks. One person on my team never heard her name called and when she went to the counter to ask, they claimed that they had called her name "at least twice" and with no reply, they dumped it. What?! There is no way that 16 other people did not hear her name. But even if we did, why would you toss the drink so soon? Yeah, sure, quality of the drink is a reason but I don't actually think their cited reason is valid or true this time. The reason why I feel so strongly about this is that multiple teammates placed and received his/her order after this teammate. If they had saw an additional drink waiting on the counter, I'm quite certain they would have also pointed it out. By far, the most egregious thing was that Burrow REFUSED to remake the drink or refund the drink. My teammate was SOL and Burrow seemed perfectly content with this resolution. Remarkable! At no point was she rude or making a scene and yet she was essentially being told this whole situation was her fault. She was genuinely sad and was about to just walk away. We ended up buying the drink for her again but yes, that also means this drink was about $16 at the end of the day. Ridiculous.
First time trying this place in Brisbane. Since it was my first time I really didn't know what to ordered. I ordered the matcha mango drink which I didn't really like. It didn't look like the menu. Plenty of street parking. No seating so if you plan on chatting you will need to look for near by seating or sit at car. This place is a scan to order place. There weren't anyone else so we didn't have to wait for our drinks which was good for us. If you are in this area and looking for a boba place you can give this place a try.
The Burrow is basically one of many Boba Guys locations they have. I ordered online for pickup, and got the ube latte with aloe jelly. The ube latte was very light, with unique hints of cinnamon and coconut. The aloe jelly was a good pairing, adding a slight crunch to the drink. I do wish that they would let you adjust the ice and sugar levels for this drink, just like with other drinks they have. Although the price is a bit high, I would recommend a try!
FINALLY was able to try the famous OG Boba Guys (The Burrow) which doesn't help that it's about 7 mins away from our hotel :) Tried one of their top 5 favorites: Strawberry Matcha Latte with boba. I loved how it wasn't super sweet and the matcha added was just right. The strawberry puree that was added, was the right amount of sweet balance to go along with the almond milk based drink. Friendly window service, and pretty quick turn around, about less than 5 mins at most. Parking: street parking, but fairly easy to find. Payments: they take G Pay/Apple Pay, cards, etc... I'll definitely will be back to try another drink before I leave back to so. cal. Thanks for the amazing boba!
First impressions aren't always accurate. When I first tried Boba Guys in 2018, I didn't think their drinks were all that special. At the time I was judging solely on their black milk tea. Their boba pearls were just okay and their grass jelly was a laughable attempt. I couldn't understand what the hype was about. Fast forward to recent months and I grew curious about the brand again. Whoever is their marketing or design person deserves a raise because I saw their special cups for sakura season with the cute little cherry blossoms and it was enough to make me decide to give them a second chance. My experience this time around was MUCH different than three years ago. A couple key differences is that their only topping is boba now (no grass jelly) and that they don't allow for ice/sugar adjustments. I was a little apprehensive about the latter because I'm the type of person to get no ice and 25% sugar in my boba drinks. But to my surprise, the drinks aren't overly sweet! I really enjoyed their strawberry matcha latte and strawberry tea fresca! I got the black sesame latte for my mom who really enjoyed it. I did taste it as well, but it's not my cup of tea (pun intended). Their boba pearls are honestly like just alright like 8/10. But their drinks! Delicious and good quality!!! Happy to share that Boba Guys is one of my favorite boba places now.
Time & Date: 1pm Thursday, 4/22/21 Order by: Walk in Payment: Apple Pay Items Ordered: Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte ($6.90) I ordered the 24 oz brown sugar hojicha latte with whole milk + boba and this is probably the best drink I've ever had from Boba Guys. The hojicha taste is very in your face -- super toasty & nutty with some grainy texture. I'm a matcha person but I think this drink just put me on hojicha lol! You can't customize sugar level for this drink, but the level was okay for me (I'm someone who usually orders 50% sugar)! I notice that the pearls were smaller than usual today, and more tough. It was pretty hard actually, not like the super soft pearls you usually get. Perhaps the pearls weren't cooked long enough today... but the drink compensated for that! Will be back! 10/10~
Pickup is easy and efficient. Show up to window and tell them the name you're picking up for Can order on DoorDash ahead of time I liked the matcha latte. Also was feeling adventurous and tried a seasonal yuzu flavored drink and to me the sourness of the yuzu was a strange combination of flavors with the tea, so I prefer to stick to the classics I know I'll like. Add toppings for additional cost. Can customize sweetness level or type of milk Order/pickup counter only. No seats. read more
I'm not sure how many people now about this spot. It's been here for a while now. They used to not make all the boba guys drinks but they have expanded the menu! I think you can also buy the milk tea in a jug size as well. Street parking is relatively easy to find. The workers here have always been really nice. There's no where to sit so all yours drinks will be to go. If you want a milk tea, I like the classic milk tea, jasmine, and Hong Kong milk tea. If you want something more fruity, I like the strawberry jasmine and lychee oolong! read more
Boba Guys spinoff [Brisbane CA] I found the name a little odd for a boba shop when I was searching for a bubble tea place while we were in Daly City. This one is located in Brisbane which is close by. When we arrived it wasn't what we expected... I guess they still have this ordering system around in some parts of the Bay Area, it just reminded me of Covid days. We found parking right in front of the store. We placed our order immediately just outside at the entry way, no inside customer seating. It was our first time here, they had their Fall/Winter 2024 menu out... no slushie type drinks (bummer!) which was what we preferred. We chose from their Seasonal Specials: Choconana w/ boba and Rosa's Nut Latte. I had the Choconana which was chocolate sauce and Korean banana milk. Nice but a little too sweet even for me. I usually don't adjust the sweetness level but maybe I should've this time. Ambiance is whatever the weather is outside... which was drizzling in NorCal at the time. At least we were able to step in a little on the covered part of the building while placing order. Review #3635 read more

How did I not know about this place? It's certainly closer than Burlingame and easier to find parking than their SF Boba Guys location so bravo for that! Came here for two drinks...my go to favorite Horchata and my second favorite Strawberry Matcha Latte. Both tasted great and had their signature flavor and quality. Online ordering made this quick and efficient, everyone wore masks and I was in and out of there like Superman! read more

Boba guys in Brisbane!!! Easy online ordering. Ready in 5 mins. I tried matcha strawberry latte, Korean milk , Horchata, strawberry milk and classic. They serve oat milk and almond milk for our lactose friends. It's depend on my mood but I like all of them. Boba is soft and chewy never hard. Friendly window at the door, right side is in store ordering and left is online pick up/doordash. Staff is quick and efficient. Plenty meter parking. read more

Fast and Friendly! Welcome back Boba Guys, we've missed you. Easy to order ahead online for cashless, safe pickup. Each order has an attached Next Level Quality Promise Card that provides the name of your handler, date prepared, and their temp to ensure your safety with Covid-19 tracing accountability. Check out the weekly flavors. As they ramp up service, you'll find more drinks coming back to the menu. We've been getting the 64oz jugs ($22) for home + $4 for 8 servings of boba. A FULL CUP of just boba. So worth! Tip: you can resoften your boba by dropping it into into hot water for a minute before serving. read more
Went to visit on a Monday holiday and it was quite busy. Ordered their Black Sesame Latte with boba and it was not how I expected it to taste like, but still good. This drink is made with rice milk so the drink is much thinner than if it were made with milk. The black sesame taste isn't too overpowering. The boba was cooked perfectly. Definitely need to try their Brown Sugar Hojicha next time! Will be back! :) read more
Don't be fooled. The Burrow is basically Boba Guys just named differently. If you do want to know why, it's basically the OG location of all Boba Guys. Boba Guys has always been famous for their boba; it's chewy, sweet, and if you get their boba when it's fresh, it's super warm and soft. I've had this place many times and I've practically tried their entire menu for years now. If you are a starter, the strawberry matcha latte is what they are notorious for. They are the creators of this drink and no other place can match up to how good this is. AND get it with oat milk. That is the game changer milk that makes this drink incredibly good. It just tastes like a really really good strawberry milk drink. All of the matcha powder they use is the good matcha so that's why if you get their matcha latte's, its like quality good! They use fresh ingredients for all their drinks too! Everything that they make is from scratch and I hold a lot of respect to that. Along with their standard drinks, they also have seasonal drinks that they release. My favorites are their Matcha Latte, Black Sesame (seasonal), Jasmine, Strawberry Tea Fresca, Korean Banana Milk, and of course, the famously aesthetic Strawberry Matcha Latte. But please, DO NOT get their grass jelly, you will be very disappointed. It's not soft and smooth like how other places make it, and it's kind of bad. You can feel free to try it, but I don't recommend it. BUT, get their almond jelly. Yes, their almond jelly! It's soooo good. It's like milky, sweet, smooth, and you can taste a hint of the almondy-ness too. read more

Been loving this place ever since it first opened! I love that I have an option to get boba guys and not having to drive so far into the city. The staff here has always been so friendly, checking in with me to see if my drink is to my liking. The boba is always on point and you will never be disappointed. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was able to place an order online. They unfortunately don't have all menu items available such as the strawberry Fresca, so I opted for just the regular milk tea with boba instead. As usual, the employee at the front was very polite. When he gave me my order, he handed me a plastic back which had a drink holder for the drinks inside. What a quick and easy way to give customers their order. read more

Coffee or Boba? Had to do a coin toss to see how I'm going to get my daily caffeine, today boba won! So I drove my butt to The Burrow before starting my errands. Wanted to try something aside from my usual (Strawberry Matcha) and got the Strawberry Tea Fresca - which I think is my new favorite! Strawberry Tea Fresca - jasmine green tea with strawberry purée -- you can really taste the subtle flowery taste of jasmine green tea complimented by a not too sweet strawberry purée. It's such a great drink! So refreshing for this weird overcast but warm weather. read more
I heard they make their own boba and the quality of the ingredients are very good. I can taste it in the drinks. Good job I'll definitely be coming back to drink more and I recommend this place to the real boba lovers read more
Not sure why it's taken me this long to visit The Burrow. Little did I know that this is the production site of Boba Guys... so technically when you come here, you're buying straight from the source! The menu is the same as the menu at any other Boba Guys store. Also complete with the sweet smell of fresh boba. I got an unsweetened matcha latte with almond milk, and thought it was perfect. My friend, meanwhile, ordered the ube latte, and really enjoyed his drink, too. All in all, I love having this location nearby, because it's the closest one to my home in Daly City. read more

Boba guys is my favorite boba place as of last summer. Still going strong. I always opt, at willing to pay, for white/crystal boba. But they make their own boba locally here and it's cooked to perfection every time. This location does just that, so you can't go wrong. If you're lactose intolerant, don't worry because they offer almond milk and not just their Strauss farm whole milk. Have a nut allergy? Not to worry either. They have oat milk! It'll probably catch on eventually, but boba guys is the only chain to have oat milk as an option. Yay! There was a line mid afternoon on a Wednesday, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a line on the weekends. Ok I'm tired. Just go here and enjoy. But also, plastic bags are $0.25 FYI. read more
I received a Boba Guys Hojicha Latte Kit from my sister for a Christmas present. I finally got around to making the latte with boba a couple of weeks ago and loved it!!! I cooked a dry cup's worth of the boba and it definitely needed more than 3 cups of water because of evaporation during the boiling process. Use 6 cups and you won't have to worry about running out of water. I used oat milk as suggested for the latte and it was fabulous. My sister is not a big Matcha fan but she loved Hojicha. The Kit came with recipe cards, kuromitsu, Hojicha powder, tea whisk, a metal Boba straw, and dried boba. I shop regularly for tea at their online shop. I love their Lychee Green Tea. I do a cold brew of it and drink the tea as is, no sugar no milk. I just recently ordered their Lavender Black online but they made an error and sent me Jasmine Green Tea instead. It's fine since I can always use Green Tea, but I do want to try their Lavender Black one day. I'll have to order it again. I have the Boba Guys' cookbook as well and have made the Black Sesame Latte, Strawberry Matcha Latte and Almond Pudding so far from the cookbook. I had to buy Agar Agar online for the Almond Pudding but it's totally worth it. It tasted amazing!!! So dangerous. I could eat the whole tray. Lol I love the Hojicha so much I was going to buy another tin online, but they were sold out of it a few days ago. I hope they restock it soon! read more

Surprise! They got Boba Guys here! First found out bout this great news when my brother had me pick up a big order for my goddaughters first birthday. Wanted to try the matcha latte but I'm lactose... then my girl tells me to try oat milk as an alternative! Best idea ever cuz this thing is refreshing on this random hot day in October! read more

Updating my review. 2nd trip here this week after a long day at work. These guy are awesome! I picked up my daughter on my way home and stopped at The Burrow. Unfortunately they had a power outage, thinking there will be no drinks for us. Just about to leave, when boba mixologist came out and asked what I wanted? I said I wanted the matcha and the milk tea boba. I said are you sure, there is no power. He's all no problem. 5 minutes later he hands me the two drinks and says 'on the house!' What? No power, no credit card swipe. I got cash ! No, it's on the house. Thank you! Gosh, you guys really made my day. Next time I will leave a big tip! read more
They sell Boba Guys beverages! The menu is limited because it's a smaller shop; the 3 additional drinks available that aren't listed on the menu are Strawberry Matcha Latte, Strawberry Jasmine Tea Fresca, and Strawberry Rice Milk. I liked that they have matcha cotton on and strawberry cotton candy, I should visit again to pick this up. Their Thai Iced Tea tasted slightly less sweet so I'll stick with their Strawberry Matcha Latte since it tasted the same as others. Overall, 4 stars, not bad, not bad at all! read more

Can someone tell me If they are open on Sunday? I thought i saw somewhere that they are.
They are closed on Sunday's, but are open on Saturday's! (:
The burrow? They broke away from Boba Guys?
Incorrect! The burrow was Boba Guys first initial store they ever opened up before branching out into what is now known as "Boba Guys". This is from what I've been told.
Why does it called Burrow and not boba guy?
What are you taking about? Shhhh!! 🤫 They aren't boba guys! 😉 I think it's because it is their distribution location, and not a full store carrying all menu items. The burrow appears to be where their catering orders originate from as well. I…
Did the hours change? Are they open past 4pm now?
Yes! They are open until 6:00 now.
Are they open today (Memorial Day)?
