I got a brown sugar milk tea with brown sugar boba, less sweet. It was still really sweet (probably on account of all the brown sugar lol), which just means that there's little to no tea flavor. Pretty decent Thai tea, I'm very critical on my Thai teas, and while this was more milky than tea based (which I usually like), the one I received was not bad by any means. My brother got a Matcha which was good quality in terms of Matcha which is pretty competitive in the boba world especially in the Bay Area, they gave him a free large as well. Pricing is actually not expensive for the quality you're getting, plus free boba instead of an extra 75 cents which other spots would usually charge you. Very quick and easy online order pick up. I had the jasmine green tea with boba, and the boba was cooked quite nicely. It's in the Linda Mar shopping center, and parking is pretty decently easy to find. A nice bonus is that if you have a metal reusable straw with you, you get a free upgrade to the larger size drink for free! Just make sure you show them the straw before ordering. We ordered a a Passion Fruit Iced Tea with grass jelly and a Coconut Milk Tea with Almond Milk and boba. The cashier was very polite, professional and accommodating. Their offerings are accommodating to many customers' tastes and dietary restrictions or preferences. They offer an abudance of flavors along with dairy alternatives (almond, soy or oat milk), different sweetness levels and an extensive variety of toppings. Our orders were ready within two minutes. I also adore the colorful drawings made by local children and the bubbly atmosphere. The coconut milk tea was on point because it wasn't too sweet, even at regular sweetness. Hmmm, I'm kind of surprised at the good reviews! Maybe it's what I ordered but it was not good! I got a strawberry milk tea and it was so thick and powdery. My husband said it resembled Pepto Bismol. My husband got a fruit tea and that was actually quite tasty! Maybe if you come here, stick to the fruit teas. read more

Went after the gym at Anytime Fitness and it had just opened so not busy, service was quick. We got a bunch of drinks, majority of my cousins really like the drinks as well, especially, my 2 year old niece, she loves the strawberry milk tea. We've been frequent Beach Boba visitors because my daughter loves it. A recent visit was disappointing, we had a Mango slushie that wasn't blended long enough to look like a slushie. The other thing, the young staff is vaping outside in front of the shop. If they chose to vape, do it away from the storefront so the young kids don't see. I miss the sweet girl that had been there for years, she interacted with everyone and was super sweet!! read more

Located in the Linda Mar Center off of Linda Mar Boulevard and the Cabrillo Highway, Beach Boba is an independently owned and operated boba shop where their House Specials are the speciality of the day, thanks to the fact that they are one of the very few boba shops that does not charge extra for toppings, which is so rare and nice! What brought me and a group of friends here today was the fact that after an afternoon of hiking in the sun in the nearby Green Valley hiking trail right above the Tom Lantos Tunnels along the Cabrillo Highway, we were all quite parched and wanted to treated ourselves to a satiating treat that would quench our taste buds. When we looked upon our trusty Yelp app on what was nearby, what would be the only bubble tea/ boba place nearby but Beach Boba? After looking at pictures posted by our fellow Yelpers, we were sold as the Lina Mar Center was literally a block away as we drove our car, so we took that as a sign. Parking in front was super easy and when we arrived at Beach Boba there was not a customer in sight, but when we left with our orders the line was long and thirsty! The menu at Beach Boba is posted both in front of their storefront and on flat panel screens inside their shop. They are separated into categories including Fruit Tea, Milk Tea, Smoothies, House Specials, and Hot and Cold Teas. Our party was immediately drawn to their House Specials as our boba shop associate also suggested them, as they were their best sellers as well. I ordered their Mediterranean Tea, which featured Green Tea, Mint, and Honey along with a free topping, of which I chose Passion Fruit Bursting Boba. Now, they also have unlimited toppings which in and of itself is remarkable, but you don't want to go too overindulgent and since we each ordered their medium boba, which is a 16 ounce drink, one topping is more than enough. Others in our party ordered their Tropical Beach Tea, which had Mango, Rose, and Black Tea and their Traditional Sensation, which was a drink made from Tamarind Fruit. It didn't take too long for their team of two staffers to create our drinks, and the best part was their cups at Beach Boba are their lids as with a simple pop of the section where your boba straw is supposed to go, it gets flipped back and held in position, so there is no blunt force on your lid, so there is no overflow and cleanup necessary. My drink was a combination of flavors that reminded me of a fun trip through the Greek isles when drinking a lemonade and iced tea combination, with an extra burst of passion fruit mixed in. The only drawback was the abundance of mint that came with every sip, as it became hard to flow through my plastic straw. For less than six dollars a drink, we each got our refreshing quencher that we so desired. And to be able to support a local establishment only added to overall enjoyment. I can't wait to come back and try their smoothies on a breezy beach day, as who wouldn't mind walking the sands of Pacifica with a frosty beverage in your hand. If you bring in a Beach Boba metal straw, which no doubt comes at an extra cost you get upgraded to a large size, which is a super smart deal to take advantage of. Here's to Beach Boba's continued domination of the local boba scene in Pacifica. As I assume The Beach Boys would harmonize after drinking here...I wish they all could be Beach Boba drinks! read more

Service is always on point. Everyone that works here is friendly. One time I ordered a drink based on a recommendation from the staff, and the person who worked there said if you don't like it we will get you something you like. I like supporting a place that wants you to be satisfied. So many possible combinations between the boba, grass jelly and poppin boba! In search for CVS in the Linda Mar Shopping Center (FYI - CVS doesn't exist here) on Monday, June 20, 2022, at around 7 PM, we happened to park right in front of Beach Boba. Of course, I took it as a sign to treat myself to an iced milk tea. The venue is tiny with no tables nor seats for hanging out. Maximum capacity can't be more than forty persons. The store is fully order to go, so not a place for a meet-up to sit and drink. After perusing the posted menu on the window, my husband decided that nothing interested him...because he totally missed the House made Thai Tea under the House Specials section. Really? Thai Tea is a special?? It's pretty much a standard drink at most, if not all bubble tea places. Weird and disappointing. On the flip side, the build-your-drink style of ordering for Fruit and Milk Teas is cool and the Free & Unlimited Toppings are even cooler. What's not so cool? Run by teenagers (at least it was on the evening of my visit), the toppings bar was already removed from the display counter because the staff had already started to close the shop. This was the lame reason why they couldn't give me a sample taste of their Matcha Boba. This is under par service, especially if the team demonstrates their eagerness to close shop over providing quality customer experience. I ended up ordering an Assam Black Milk Tea with Lavender Flavor & Grass Jelly Topping at 50% sweetness. Perhaps I should have opted for 25% sweetness instead because my drink was still a bit too sweet to the point of drowning out the unnatural lavender flavour. I was not super impressed. It's unlikely that I will return, but if, for some unknown reason that I do, I will go for the basic Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Grass Jelly and/or Egg Pudding. read more

Came here for the first time and i got the tropical beach tea with regular boba. I'm usually skeptical about rose flavor since it can be overtaking but the drink was perfect! Really cool boba milk tea place. So much fun toppings. Unlimited. Too bad I'm not a huge topping person, however, I tried their boba. The texture tasted more like a jello than a chewy tapioca. I was super thirsty during and after our hike at Sweeney Ridge so I suggested to my friend that we should hit up Beach Boba since it's nearby, and it has great ratings. He was down for it as well so we drove over there after our hike, and I went with the "Tropical Beach Tea" with lychee jelly as my drink while he got a coffee drink with coffee jelly. I loved my drink as it was very refreshing, but I did feel like it was a tad bit too sweet. I would need to ask for a little less sweet the next time I come here. Then my friend really enjoyed his drink as he had never tried coffee jelly before, and he was like "Omg this is amazing!" The guy working the counter was friendly, and he was chatting to my friend about hiking stuff. The place seemed clean, and I really like their boba mascot in the corner- so cute! They hav mochi donuts here!! Outside on their window they have the drink menu. Small location which you would definitely just pick up and go. I wasn't really happy with my drink, I got something fruity but it wasn't like sweet tasty it was just fruity fruity. The mochi donuts were good though!! Plenty of parking with other stores and places to eat. I believe it's also walking distance to the beach but I don't think you can park here to go to the beach. Wait time isn't bad but if your in a hurry I would say order ahead well hopefully that's an option. read more

Americanized boba drinks, it's not the authentic Chinese boba drinks. I've been to many boba shops and this one was a little disappointing. Located in a mall and it's not what you expected. All the boba were put on display and not covered, not sure how fresh it is, and how long it has been sitting out. The price was fair but not as good as others. Service was decent but I didn't feel the welcome when I walked in. Didn't offer any suggestions or asked if I have been here before. This is one short of a boba shop and it's geared towards the population of people who live in that area. If you want better boba drinks I recommend you go somewhere else then here. Was in the area and wanted to try this place after an afternoon walk. Got the jasmine green milk tea, non dairy creamer, no extra flavors, house boba, normal sweet, less ice. The boba texture was chewy and perfect! There was not really any flavor though, even tho this is their honey boba. It was a very light sweet taste, but barely there. The tea flavor was light, it was primarily milky tasting. Normal sweet tasted like 50% sweet at other places - I prefer a lighter sweet but just expected it to be more sweet. The straws: I've never seen paper boba straws WITH the sharp angled end, so kudos to them for that! I still don't like paper straws since I'm a slow drinker .. so just a forewarning.
