Wonderful staff as always. Today I came in because I was having a rough day from work, so I decided to treat myself to some boba. Not sure what the guy name was but he was wearing an orange shirt that says Arizona with a star on it (top right corner) of his shirt, he was young Caucasian male, he over heard my conversation with my mother about how I was stressed out about my day. And he asked me if I was stressed out about my father adding ice cream to his Thai ice tea. I thought that was funny, he turned my really bad day into a wonderful day. I felt way better. Simple kindness acts like that is what matters. He's great. He deserves a raise. He's always working when I come. He's absolutely awesome. Drinks always turn out to be fresh and very delicious. Tea world is the best Boba in Pacifica. No question about it. They've been in business for over a decade and the quality has remained roughly the same. The quality will vary a bit depending on who the boba-rista is as well as time of day because the boba may be sitting if you come at the end of the day, but essentially it's the same product. I have completed a stamp card here, which is kind of an expensive journey, about $7 to $10 per drink. I have had no issues with the service here. Wondering aloud if there was a nearby tea shoppe, we were informed of Tea World just around the corner. We visited for the first time on the afternoon of Saturday, April 12, 2025, shortly before 3:30 PM...and have returned almost on a weekly basis Located in Pacifica's Eureka Square, there is plenty of parking in the private lot with spaces conveniently just steps away from Tea World's front entrance. The venue is tiny with room for a short line and a single bench. Maximum occupancy for the customer area must be twenty persons or less. With no other seating available, not even outside, this place is mainly for to-go orders. The place has always appeared clean and well-kept every time I have visited. Ordering tea is done in a few steps: 1. PICK YOUR SIZE - four sizes offered 2. Pick TEA BASE: BLACK, GREEN (Jasmine), or OOLONG. 3. MILK: Milk (WHOLE MILK or COCONUT or SOY, milk alternatives at an extra fee. I guess Tea World hasn't caught on that charging extra for milk alternatives is frowned upon nowadays.) or No Milk 4. My first drink from this place was GREEN TEA BASE + Milk + ALMOND FLAVOR + GRASS JELLY ($0.75) + HONEY BOBA ($0.75) which was yummy. I forgot to order the drink with almond milk, but, to my pleasant surprise, the real milk did not upset my stomach. I found out at my second visit that their milk is dairy free, yay! At my subsequent visits, I stuck with the same FLAVOR & TOPPINGS, just changed the TEA BASE. I like this drink best with the GREEN TEA BASE and the least with the BLACK. I will try the ROASTED OOLONG TEA at my next visit. Heads up - there is a credit card surchage. NO LIKEY! Service here is hit or miss. On the day of our first visit, Z commented that the girl behind the counter appeared to not want to be there like she wanted to go home already. I agreed; the young girl seemed like she was having a bad day and had a sour look on her face. I have been helped by two other young guys on the days of my subsequent visits. I really liked their tiger milk tea it has a nice sweet taste to it I highly recommend if you're a fan of sweet boba.

We were walking around in the shopping plaza and decided to check it out wanting a sweet treat. It seemed like a lot of the customers were regulars bringing out their stamp cards and they had some interesting drink options on the posters like the Mangga Con Yelo. I liked that it was a build your own kind of menu with so many options to choose from and the drinks came out very soon after we ordered. Mango Green Milk Tea w/ Lychee and Boba - It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me with a balanced level of mango flavor and they filled it with so much toppings. The boba was soft and chewy as well. I originally got the 16oz size but they were having a free upgrade on Monday & Tuesdays, which they were very kind about letting us know. My sister got the Mangga Con Yelo which she enjoyed with shaved ice with rich mango flavors. We would go back to try more of their unique drinks! read more

The storefront looks big, but the counter is surprisingly small. It sort of looks like they set it up for the "Covid pandemic days" and never changed it back to normal. There's no indoor or outdoor seating. There's a bench and seats for waiting, but the tiny lobby gets crowded fast when a line forms. After having lunch with family, I decided to cruise around Pacifica a bit. Using the Yelp app, I noticed Tea World offered coffee/tea and ice cream. Okay, I didn't get much sleep, so maybe coffee and ice cream would be a good combo to try. After waiting in line, the nice young lady took my order. I ordered: - Vanilla Latte, 16oz, Cold, $5.25 - 2 Scoops in a Cup, Chocolate and Coffee Ice Cream, $7.75 (Total: $13.00, no tax) How was it? It was just okay..... The Vanilla Latte tasted like it came from a carton and was pre-mixed. It had no caffeine kick to it. It's okay as a cold beverage. The chocolate ice cream was excellent. It was rich, creamy, and soothing. The coffee ice cream was grainy and gritty. It tasted okay, but had a weird texture like it had sand in it. So overall. a fair experience at Tea World. I come here when I'm babysitting in the area every so often but never wrote a review for it. I like that you can have the drinks water based because caffeine will keep me up all night but they tend to run out of things a few times I been there. So it's basically juice I'm drinking.. There was one visit, they ran out of a bunch of ice cream flavors and didn't have much of a selection there was only two to pick from. One small scoop was $6.25! I went to a different place that served gelato in Burlingame and they had pretty much the same size cups. I got two small scoops for $3 bucks! Another time they ran out of boba literally right after I ordered and they literally told me right after I ordered and so they asked if I wanted a substitute instead I said sure I believe I got some jelly flavored something and it was a bit tough and it didn't go well with the flavor I ordered.. It's pretty popular amongst the Gen Z kids because every other time I went there's always a crowd of them. Seating outside would be nice since the shop is super small with a wooden bench and two chairs inside and it gets very cramped with the Gen Z kids and it tends to get loud and I am very claustrophobic. As we entered the shop, I thought it was neutral and very simple with little decor plastered on the walls. I wanted some tea after my meal in a neighboring restaurant and really didn't expect much since I had never heard of Tea World before. The young lady was friendly as she told us to ring the bell whenever we were ready. Decided on malted Thai milk tea after asking her how malt changed the drink's taste. She said it added a roasted flavor. Sure, why not?? Especially since this is the first time I've ever seen malt as an option. MALTED THAI TEA: At 50% sweetness, this was just right for me. The Thai tea flavor ends up being a little muted but the malt clearly does its part. If you like the inside of Whopper candies, it tastes just like that with a hint of Thai tea flavor. I expect that the chocolate milk tea with added malt would taste exactly like a whopper. I actually really enjoyed the drink and would go back to try the malted milk tea shake next time I'm in town. Note: It's 50¢ extra to add malt to a drink. They also sell Mitchell's icecream as well. This is like an airport kiosk boba shop. Small hole in the wall boba shop. Lackluster and hard boba. Very chewy and I don't think it was cooked through. They don't have cream on top of their tea drinks to add. So, you're basically limited to milk and tea, or just tea. They have Mitchell's ice cream here, too. After spending the day catching nothing but water and seaweed at the nearby Pacifica Pier with some friends, I decided to at least end the day on a sweet note with some boba. Using my trusty Yelp app, I found that Tea World was pretty close by, so decided to give them a try. Located in a small, outdoor strip mall, this location is a bit unassuming and easy to miss. The interior was clean, and the only employee inside I saw was wearing a mask. They offer several different cup sizes to choose from, and prices were all VERY reasonable. In fact, for the majority of topping types, the 1st topping was included in the drink price at no additional charge! Not feeling like experimenting, I opted to go with my usual go-to flavor of passion fruit oolong tea, with honey boba. For only 1 girl behind the counter manning both the register, and making drinks, the turnaround time was pretty decent. Stood around for maybe 10mins, before she had already completed all the orders in front of me, and had my drink ready as well. While there are certainly boba joints out there that exceed Tea World's quality of either boba, or premium tea, the drink itself was fairly good in both respects, and certainly had a generous portion of boba topping included. I never knew of a good boba stop in Pacifica until now. But will definitely be stopping by more consistently whenever I'm in the area! read more

Sweetness was perfect. The boba was chewy and flavorful/sweet. Malted milk tea shake - this really intrigued me so I wanted to give it a try. The malt flavor was very light. I couldn't really taste the tea but the husband said he could tell there was tea in it. Overall, it was more of an Oreo milk shake with a hint of malt. Not bad, but not sure it was worth 4.75! Another day another boba shop. Tea World is a small, but solid boba shop in Pacifica with plenty of parking also. I went here after getting food nearby and I got a 28oz Tiger Milk Tea. It wasn't too expensive as it was over $6 total. Their Tiger Milk Tea lacked much tea flavor and I was mostly tasting sugar in my drink, but overall it was still good. Some of the boba were sticking together and some were not as chewy as others. Their drinks just aren't anything noteworthy in my opinion. It might sound highly offensive to compare a boba shop to Quickly, but their Tiger Milk Tea definitely tasted like something I would get from there which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Also when I went there they didn't use sealed lids like I saw in other review's photos. I'm typically not a fan of boba shops that don't use sealed lids, but it's okay as long as the lid was closed well to avoid spilling. Unfortunately it was not so my hoodie enjoyed some of my boba also. The customer service is pretty good and everyone working there is very friendly. Personally, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if you live in Pacifica and are near the area then this isn't a bad option for boba at all. This place is just tricking you. It's not real tea or even quality tea drinks. I got a malted Thai tea and a black sugar oolong. For drinks with "tea" in the name there's absolutely no hint of tea at all. Super watered down. Couldn't even finish it halfway since it's basically flavored water. All I taste are the toppings. I will also bet that they use powder for their drinks. Isn't justified by the low price either. I would rather go elsewhere for my drink fix. On the real this place gets five stars in my book all the way. Even though there's only one person working right now he is making it happen. Even though the line looked long he makes the drinks with the quickness and they taste great as well. Once you come in here it's just the right size for a two place. You can either have a milk drink or one without all kinds of flavors and, the bonus is that they have ice cream as well. Place that has milkshakes and ice cream is A+ on my list. This used to be my favorite tea place for a couple of years and unfortunately it's been disappointing every time I go. My go to was a black milk tea with coconut ice cream added and the black milk tea used to be sooooo floral and delicious! Strong and full of flavor. Now, the milk tea is watery and lacking any flavor. I never used to have issues with adding the scoop of ice cream for $2.85 which is literally on their menu sign but the last 5 times, they always try to charge me for a single scoop of ice cream which is $5 so then the drink is $10.75 which I always have to correct the cashier. Everytime it's a new cashier and everytime, they always charge it incorrectly which is super frustrating. Unfortunately, today will be my last time going. I paid EXTRA for my coconut ice cream and she barely even put a scoop in there. Usually it's a full scoop of ice cream in a very delicious black milk tea. Now it's complete garbage. Sadly, I'll have to find another new tea spot. They do have punch cards, so that's still a plus. I've gotten over 30 drinks from here but never again. read more

First time here. Located in a residential-ish area away from the action but not too far from the beach. Easy parking. Good place to stop by for some drinks and ice cream, though not a place you can sit down anywhere. Reasonable prices, esp with their generous scoops and cup sizes. And service was very prompt and friendly. Had the Rose Milk w Green Tea base, Peach Lychee Black Tea, coffee ice cream, pistachio ice cream, and halo halo ice cream. Loved everything but the halo halo ice cream, though I don't think that's the fault of the ice cream. It was ok but not quite to our taste. We did not alter the sweetness of the drinks but it was to our liking, and we tend to like things on the slightly sweeter side. Btw they have a buy 3 drinks or ice creams, get 1 snack free! It's pretty good! They have boba sizes from 16 oz to 32 oz! I got the black milk tea boba, lychee flavor- was too sweet, it worked out for me as I prefer my boba at 50% sweet. You can choose a base and different flavors. They offer biodegradable straws and plastic straws I thought it was odd as they serve the same purpose. Being that they're so close to the beach you'd think they would try to minimize plastic use. They also have snacks, like Pocky and Nutella dips, as well as Mitchell's ice cream! You can get it by the pint! Parking was easy! I was also able to charge my EV. Over all it's good place to call in an order after a run or a long walk on a hot day. Check them out! read more

Yes I'm a fan of Tea World because it's located right next to Plato's Closet and they serve Horchata Milk Tea. Prices are reasonable. I did get here when they first opened and the boba wasn't ready for another 20 minutes, so I opted for another topping, egg pudding. It all worked out. I've had this bookmarked for awhile and been wanting to try it out since Pacifica doesn't really have any boba places. However, on my visit here I was sadly let down and cannot understand how everyone else on yelp is praising this place so highly like it's the best boba they've ever had. First off this place cannot compare to actual boba places in San Francisco or San Jose. Heck this place can't even compete with Teaven on Skyline which would be very entry level quality drinks. I guess Tea World's claim to fame is that they have "Malt milk teas & shakes." I wanted to try this out as I've never heard of a malted milk tea so I ordered a Thai tea thinking it'd be quite hard to mess it up. Unfortunately, this gimmick was short lived as I immediately drank up a chunk of malt powder that wasn't fully dissolved. Don't get me wrong, I shook up this drink and stirred it around a bunch before I even drank it, but damn sip after sip I just kept tasting chunks of malt powder, powdered thai tea, and water. There really wasn't any flavor to this drink besides powdered water. Didn't even finish half my drink before it was tossed. My girlfriend wanted ice cream so she got their avocado "Mitchell's ice cream." Horrible quality, as there were ice chunks throughout the ice cream and it had a freezer burn type of flavor where it tasted like the freezer it was in if that makes sense. Anyways, really poor quality drinks & ice cream. Go the extra mile and try Bobaville in Daly City if you want that boba fix. read more
