The black sugar in the banana snow is purely for aesthetics, I do not recommend mixing because the coldness from the snow freezes the black sugar as it's meant to be mixed with hot espresso. Was ordering some boba for delivery but a little hungry so decided to tag on some food. Drinks are good but I think the boba could use work. Food was interesting, not what I expected and a bit underwhelming in flavor. I would skip on food and get drinks here. Overall, the prices here are fairly low so that increases the overall value but from a taste standpoint, drinks are above average and food was below so it hits an average mark. Pretty big menu. At 50% sugar, the drinks were still pretty sweet. Was unable to adjust ice levels but they seemed to be fairly light already (costs extra to get no ice, but they don't overdo the ice). Drinks are good. Wasn't a fan of the boba or the rice bowls. Overall average given two average elements and two above average elements. Panda Milk Tea - the panda refers to the mix of white and black toppings from boba and crystal boba. Liquid seems to be some black milk tea. Boba was extremely soft and chewy but overcooked to that texture. On the bright side, it had a hint of sweetness. Much preferred the crystal boba here though. House Special Milk Tea with Grass Jelly - a classic house milk tea made with black milk tea but stronger. Grass jelly was standard, light and cool. Crispy Popcorn Chicken - not your standard popcorn chicken, it's much leaner. I think it just went through a quick air fry as there wasn't a crunchy exterior. I wanted the latter, but I'm satisfied with this lean-ish chicken. Decent quantity. However, no basil! I'd order a side of chicken again. Supersized Popcorn Chicken Bowl - not sure what supersized means but decided to tag it on for $2. Presentation leaves a lot to be desired. Can't tell if they added more chicken, more rice, or both because I have no control to compare with. However, I wouldn't order this again simply being a bed of rice with chicken. Was expecting a bit more maybe a tea egg or some vegetables for a classic Taiwanese bowl. I'd rather order the popcorn chicken on it's own. I also think it's just a bed of rice with a serving of crispy popcorn chicken on top, no more. I don't think the supersize did anything. read more

I've tried just about everything but their hot drinks, their food is a little weird but a guilty pleasure for a quick snack, generous with the popcorn chicken. When it was still Quickly's, all I would get was a Taro or Almond milk tea, but their menu is massive, I HAVE to try everything. Patient bobarista, kept the same attitude for years, we appreciate you very much!!! I've been coming here since it first opened They start late around noon or 1pm. The drinks are great with wide selection of flavors & cup sizes, with 2real fruit. If you're like me and hate the taste of sugar in your real fruit drinks since there's already natural sugar in the fruit but want just a little sweetness, choose 25% sugar. I love their watermelon & peach & berry & mango slushes. Their mixture slushes are great too like the mango & peach. Their matcha drinks are good too!! Their Matcha2ound of creamy umami taste, wonderful if you're studying - refreshing while increasing your mental strength They have high seats near the window to the sidewalk, seats with tables, and even a small couch for you & friend(s) to relax & chat. The owner is very courteous, easy to talk to. They accept CC. It's next to Sweet Delight the dim sum bakery/restaurant, so after I buy my food at Sweet Delight around noon, I move here to buy my drinks and relax & chat with friends. https://tpass.co is their website about their virtual "rewards card" on their app which is like the starbucks app and you can order ahead to pick it up rather than wait in the long lines. Hit the top right DOWNLOAD button OR scroll down to the bottom for the google & apple links to their app. If you come a lot like me AND/OR just don't like standffing in lines to order like me, then it's best to download it. Not directly connected but associated with restaurants & boba/smoothie shops, there were times when I couldn't decide where to order online for restaurant delivery because the restaurant had no drinks or no good drinks or no fruits(good for nutrition), but Doordash solved this problem. When I buy food from any restaurant on Doordash online for delivery, after the end of placing the order, Doordash lets you buy from other shops nearby(but you have to be superfast) so I buy my drinks here as my 2nd order (choosing/scrolling fast among the shops given to me) OR order drinks and cut-up fruits from Safeway and it's only a few bucks extra as part of DoorDash's "Double Doordash" Service, so if you're sick of being forced to a SMALL combo fast food meal, double doordash frees you. Or say you only want your all-fruit smoothies and/or matcha at a favorite boba or smoothie shop (rather than settling for an over sugary canned soda) -- your restaurant food can be double-doordashed thru those shops IF they should pop up. If not, Safeway usually pops up and- I can at least buy their pkgd fresh cut up fruits. Count me a double-doordash fanatic!! read more
