I finally tried the tea after a long time of seeing so many gather in line for this place. its a long wait for the drinks since they are super busy and popular. The staff worked furiously we never seen so many workers at a Boba place. The tea was good forsure but nothing all that special in fact the menu was limited and more simple then other boba places. I got a hot boba which was good and my friend said hers was just ok.

Only gripe.. the wait! I highly would suggest ordering via mobile because in person on a Monday afternoon it still took 30min. The inside is small so most people spill out onto the sidewalk to wait. Theres a small sitting area inside bit not a lot of chairs. There is a number screen for order numbers being prepped and who is next. The drink itself was decent. Not bad at all and for the price it was reasonable unlike some other places. We got the Coconut Mango Boom and it was enough to share between two people. At 75% sweet it was perfect sweetness. The drink itself was okay though. It was good but mot amazing good. Something you could get at other places. The cup.is near amd innovative with a topper that can be spun open or close alto fit a spoon insode or sip straight from the cup.

The brown sugar boba was delicious. The line is shorter now. The place looks very modern and clean. The people are still excited and happy about having a hey tea in our area. I love that you customize your drink. I am going to try their other drinks soon.

Walked by and saw people waiting in line. Opted to download the app and order drinks there. Ordered 4 drinks and pick up was easy. Had the cloud crisp grape with 0 calorie sweetener. I actually enjoyed this drink, I had forgot to order boba but I was told afterwards that they ran out of boba via the app, so I was saved from my boba hungry family. Took a sip of the hubby's guava green grape drink and it was delicious as well. Loved the visual of the pink and green. Will definitely be one of the places that I can alternate for boba.

It's been a while since they've opened and the lines can still be quite hectic. Save yourself the headache, download their app and order ahead. There's a tablet off to the side that you can use to order your drinks. If the line gets too long, a cashier tends to jump in to help with orders. I do appreciate the screen in the corner that shows your order number so you're able to track it. I usually opt for their Coconut Mango Boom and it's never too sweet. Overall, I think the experience is decent if you order ahead. It seems less worth it when there's a long wait. There's also not a lot of seats inside so it feels more of a order and go kind of place.

Line for BOGO April 9th all day

BOGO free today only for their new Yuzu Jasmine tea. As you can see from the line at 11am when they opened it was quite a wait. About a 40 minute wait with my coworkers. No online ordering or kiosk orders to get this BOGO just an FYI. Drink was refreshing and even with ZERO sugar (my choice), it still tasted great. Jasmine was light and the Yuzu was bright. Hey that rhymes! My preference is their coconut water drinks and their kale drink if they didn't have this promotion.

I would recommend ordering online 30 minutes prior as there is always a line The coconut mango boom is a very refreshing, but light drink to satisfy the sweet tooth Highly recommend

Guava be kinding me , who says there are no King in DC ( Daly City)

Going shopping for groceries and food in San Francisco on a hot day can be busy and sometimes chaotic. So I took a trip to DC ( Daly City). I decided to go to Westlake Shopping Center to do some shopping in neighboring Daly City. You will find hella restaurants such as Tiny Sushi -Oh Baby , KanKiin Restaurant Thai, or grab some pho at Pho Huynh Hiep 3 - Kevin's Noodle House. There is a place to beat the heat with a refreshing drink. These beverages come in all flavor. It's called HeyTea ( not Haiti). Since I been waiting for the Stonestown location of HeyTea to open I decided to go to the closest HeyTea location in Daly City. Inside there was an electric crowd of Boba lovers waiting to get some cups of joy. I decided to try the Supreme Matcha since Don Juan De La Matcha enjoys trying different types of matcha. It was smooth and not too sweet. Every sip was tasty. I then I got the Cloud Mango. It was juicy and delicious . It was not too sweet and it was very refreshing. Overall this place is a good place to get some boba all four seasons. Next time I have to find out where to get Westlake beef soup at Westlake. They say Boba a science I say it's more like a work of art like a "Van Gogh" with a different "angle" with flavors dance in your mouth like the "tango" with flavors like Don Juan's de la matcha HeyTea Supreme Matcha and HeyTea Cloud "Mango" HeyTea is one the best electric Boba places "around "at Westlake Shopping Center in Daly City it can be "found" and it's located less than mile from San Francisco County "ground", Now I am waiting for the HeyTea to open in San Francisco location at "Stonestown"

I went to Heytea in Westlake. It's a small storefront, and the shop was busy, which shows it's pretty popular, but the staff kept things moving. There was a decent big line when we got there, but thankfully we noticed the QR code and ordered through the app, which made things a lot easier. Even though the wait was still about 10-15 minutes, I think the drink was worth it. I ordered the Coconut Mango Boom, and it was super refreshing. The fresh, warm honey boba was a nice touch and paired really well with the drink. Overall, I'd come back!

    Triple supreme matcha latte
    Isabelle V.

I willingly drive from SF to Daly City just for this -- I love the rise of tea-forward boba shops like Heytea, where each of their drinks is well crafted and the high quality teas are the star of the show. This place can get a bit busy, and orders can take on the longer side, but I think it is worth it! Drinks I'd recommend: Triple supreme matcha latte -- Very, very indulgent and rich, and really more of a dessert than a drink, but absolutely delicious. Homemade warm matcha mochi ("goo", as we call it) is my favorite part of this drink, aside from the high quality matcha latte it rests in. The matcha mochi creates such an interesting texture to the drink, especially with the matcha jelly bits also included. Jasmine milk tea with boba -- Always a good choice, jasmine flavor is strong. Jasmine milk tea with matcha cloud -- If you're craving Molly Tea and can't make it out to San Mateo, they do it quite well here too. Though, I like the jasmine flavor at MT more.

King Jasmine Gauva and Cloud Matcha Latte

Second time at Heytea and it's always pretty consistently good. Tried the new jasmine guava and the matcha latte. Jasmine Guava was a bit light on the guava flavor for me but the matcha was excellent. Not too sweet and a great earthy matcha flavor that really came through. Overall, the drinks here are not super sweet with the default option which I appreciate and there is an option for zero calorie sweetener. However, I think their boba is a little on the soft side without much chew, which is not my preference. In addition, the lines here are super long so definitely order ahead. They are pretty fast with the drinks. Lastly, the drinks are expensive. Almost $20 for two drinks after tax and tip so this place is on the expensive side for drinks but the quality is high. Overall: 4.3/5

    Cheese brown sugar boba milk
    Tiffany W.

Very popular boba tea spot in Westlake Village. We tried the cheese brown sugar boba milk which was very tasty and a nice mix of salty and sweet. The brown sugar boba itself was delicious and perfectly soft and chewy. Highly recommend ordering using the HeyTea app since waiting in line can easily add another 10 minutes to your wait--we came in a busy Saturday and waited about 25 mins or so for our order to come out after placing the initial order. The team at HeyTea was firing on all cylinders and managing over eighty orders--they did an amazing job at staying calm and being as efficient as they could be. The place itself is cute and clean. Be ready to grab and go as there is not really any seating available. We're looking forward to visiting again!

    Mango coconut boom

One of my favorite fruit smoothies is the mango coconut boom from Heytea. The mango is so refreshing and the coconut jelly complements so well. Fair warning-this location can get quite busy. I would order ahead on the app.

Given that, it doesn't escape me that it took just a matter of months for my next visit to happen again. No real rhyme or reason as to why it didn't take nearly as long this time, but I'd be lying if I said that the Ube Halo Halo we tried didn't have something to do with it. While it ultimately wasn't what we ordered, the memory of what we had definitely got us excited to try more when my friends suggested coming here! Compared to the location over on Geary (and the one in Westminster, for what it's worth), this Bambu is better in just about every way. Sure, it helps that it's still relatively new (they opened about eight months ago?), but it's undoubtedly cleaner, feels a whole lot brighter, is a bit more conveniently located, and, most significantly, has way more parking available nearby. As for the menu, it had pretty much all of the usual offerings that you'd expect to find at any of their locations - che desserts, milk tea, fruit teas, waffles, macarons, and Vietnamese coffee. -- MANGO HALO HALO - Green Jello Base with Coconut Meat, Coconut Milk, Red Tapioca, Jackfruit, Egg Pudding, Crystal Boba, Mango Jelly, Pandan Jelly, Nata de Coco, and Topped with Mango Ice Cream While it didn't impress quite like the Ube Halo Halo did, this was still really good. Between all of the mangos (vs ube) and jellies, this felt a lot fruitier and lighter. However, it also didn't feel quite as creamy as the Ube one did, which I kind of missed. -- VIETNAMESE EGG COFFEE Sadly, the coffee is a pre-made mix, so they weren't able to modify the sweetness, but I appreciate that they added plain coffee to help dilute it. Even then, though, this ended up being really sweet. Loved how creamy the egg foam made this, though. Despite how I genuinely like this particular Bambu, I don't know how often I would come back since I don't typically crave che desserts and other places usually come to mind first when I think of where to get milk tea. However, should the urge or occasion arise to go to a Bambu again, I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this one, especially so that I can give their Yoonami Drinks, Smoothies, and Ube Mochi Waffle a try!

I appreciate how they used real banana for the cream instead of just banana flavored syrup. The crème brûlée matcha is really good too. The strawberry matcha wasn't my favorite only because the strawberry purée wasn't sweet enough, and the strawberries were too chunky to sip through the straw. Maybe I'll have to try it again This is a really cute cafe with a good selection of drinks to choose from. I definitely want to try more stuff on their menu, especially the Vietnamese coffees I've noticed how Vietnamese / matcha spots have become really popular recently in the bay.
