    Mango milk tea was delicious
    Ry T.

I came in to try a new drink. They have so many options, it's difficult to make a choice. I didn't want any of the elaborate drinks with 4-5 items in it, so stayed with the mango milk tea. It was delicious. Soft chunks of mango and not too sweet. Staff was nice. It wasn't busy in the early afternoon so service was quick. I might try one of the more elaborate ones next time but they're 350 calories. That's a meal.

Ordered 3 cups of Che and a waffle. Spent over 40 dollars and I guess they ran out of pandan jelly which was fine but she totally skimped the drink that she said she "had enough for" Normally idc but at 10 bucks a cup packed w ice and not much topping I personally think the one on Geary does a better take on it lol The pandan waffle was good

I came at noon & it wasn't busy at all. The boy at the cashier was funny and super helpful. It's bright inside and there is seating. I got bambi's favorite w half the portion of the toppings. I usually love it, however the coconut milk was overly chunky & chalky. I took two sips & threw it out bc it threw off the entire drink.

If you ever find yourself in Stonestown, do yourself a favor and scurry over to Bambu for your refreshment desires! Ordered a coffee milktea with boba and loved how they use crushed ice--didn't need a lot to keep the drink cold. Mmmm. (They also make pandan waffles and halo halo :0) There's a nearby banh mi shop in the same building that doesn't have seating, so our logic was to eat our banh mi at Bambu and complete the meal with a drink and some dessert while we were at it. It only made sense. The person working the front was very kind and welcoming. Also fyi, they have a buy 4 drinks, get a free pandan waffle promo on Wednesdays. 10/10 - already looking forward to our next visit :)

Loved trying Bambu! So many great drinks and combos to try soon. We were blown away. Wish we drank it slower though bc at the end it was mostly just ice and jelly lol lesson learned for next time

Closer to home, finally. Glad to have Bambu open on this side of SF. It was packed when I went on a Monday afternoon. No lines but all tables - not that there were a lot, were occupied. Nice to have people actually sit down to have their Bambu fix. The lady working the register was really nice. They did not have some of the toppings due to a shipping delay however she was very kind to offer replacement even when I was not even her asking to. I will be coming back a lot for sure.

A hot day, calls for an ice cold drink from Bambu tucked away on the corner of Buckingham way and 20th Avenue. Ordered a large Bambu Favorite $9, has pandan jelly, red boba with water chestnuts and grass jelly with coconut milk. At 50% sugar, it was hardly sweet, 75% will be preferred next time. A great dessert drink to cool down with.

Love that a Bambu opened up closer to our home. Bambu Favorite #10 is my go to. Kiddo ordered Bambu Special #1. Good treats on a warm day. We also picked up taro and pandan waffles. I think these ones are bigger (thicker) than other Bambu spots that have them. They both arrived hot and have that mochi chewiness. Not too sweet and quite filling. The owner and staff were friendly as well. I'm sure we'll be visiting quite often.

This once banh mí sandwich shop near Stonestown Galleria was secretly replaced by Bambu, the same Vietnamese milk tea café that I used to check out in Geary Blvd of Outer Richmond. Thought I wait to buy just one banh mí sandwich, but never lost when I had a chance to try something new at Bambu. I have no words for its interior, but its customer service sounds sweet and easy going. I was better off choosing number 6, which was Chè Trái Cây. Every cup of chè requires a spoon rather than a straw alone. Mine had over eight surprising ingredients. Of all the following: coconut flesh, coconut milk, red tapioca, pandan jelly, jackfruits, palm seeds, agar agar jellos, and longans/lychee. That took about a frustrating 20 minutes wait before I absolutely head off inside Stonestown Galleria. Even after I had a nice cup of chè, I would expect a brain freeze. Spoonful after spoonful, I experienced a carnival of flavors. The next time I visit to have a different cup of chè, I choose vegan options or a smash avocado.

My friends and I finally got the chance to swing by Bambu in Stonestown. This seemed to be the old subway location but is much brighter than before and more welcoming. You can park in the garage on the second level if you need parking and just exit at the main entrance. Their store is located in the outside so you have to walk past the banh mi love place first. We were greeted immediately by the staff when we walked in n. You can either order from the kiosk or from the cashier. I didn't the cashier because I felt it was faster instead of just searching for what I wanted . I got the pandan waffles and my friends got the egg coffee. We sat down as we waited for our orders and the owner/manager Betty, came out to talk to us and even offered us a sample of the uve waffle. She even offered us water as we waited. For a second I felt I walked into a fancy restaurant. The pandan waffles was made to perfection and I loved the pandan flavor. I could've added chocolate syrup or fruits to this but I wanted it to be simple so I didn't added anything to both my waffles. Best to eat this warm ! The egg coffee was so good. I loved how strong it was! My friends found it strong too, so if you can't handle it , try to add more ice. This drink alone is worth coming back for! Overall, the service is top notch. And the place is super clean. I saw them cleaning the tables agree the customers left. We will definitely return!

Really nice staff and helpful! Delightful place and really good Vietnamese style drinks/desserts. My kids had big eyes when we were at this place. A comfortable vibe and good place to chill and chat over a halo halo. I really liked the texture differences on the halo halo, guit free gummy worms is what I attributed some of the jellies. Really fun dessert!

Forgot this location wasn't actually in the mall but at the corner near Pet Food. Went at 7pm on a weeknight almost during their closing time, and they were still able to accomodate making a pandan waffle. Drinks were good, fresh, and their waffle was big, crispy, but less chewy than the pandan waffles from Millbrae which I prefer more. Staff was friendly and super chill, tables are all new and clean.

My halo halo was perfect not too sweet an it had a lot of jelly and mango ice cream. Joanne helped me and she was so friendly and helpful. She made my dessert so fast and delicious. The place is clean with lots of sunshine. I really enjoyed and I would recommend that you try this place.

OMG! Worth the wait,…read moreworth the hassle of the city. First of all...they are: * Well and reasonably priced. * Beautiful interior. * Bomb and delicious food and drinks (and wine)! Every single thing tasted and touched was amazing. I consider myself a pho lover and Connoisseur - their pho - my goodness, it's flavorful, fresh, amazing broth, meat and NEEDS almost NOTHING added. It may be theee best Pho I've had in the city (sorry Turtle tower). Bun Chua was also amazing. I gotta get back here. It's the spot. Drinks were GOOD. Waiter was pleasant, on his stuff. Just an all around amazing experience. I'll be back!

The surrounding streets were filled with people living on the streets and leaving the car even if we managed to find an empty spot felt unsafe. The restaurant recommended us to use 233 Ellis to park, they mentioned we could get a discount there. We only learnt later that there is no discount on the $20 per hour ticket on Friday and Saturday. **AMBIANCE: the inside is a stark contrast to the going ons outside. Place is cosy but feels hip and well done. Makes for a cosy date place if you ignore the situation outside. **SERVICE: very friendly and they didn't force me to order and let me sit at my table for more than 20 mins or so while my dining partner was driving around trying to find parking. **FOOD: Modern elevated Vietnamese cuisine. *Lemongrass grilled wings-3.5/5- can be better especially with infusion of flavors, *Shaking beef:5/5- best dish on our table. Indulgence especially with the amount of butter used but well worth it. Flavors are splendid. *Hoi an chicken rice-4/5- broth was amazing. Rice was great. Chicken was cold and flavorless! *Vietnamese chicken salad-3.5/5-sweet dressing which I didn't fancy much. Veggies were sufficiently nice and crunchy. Chicken was boiled and cold. *Dry hu tieu-3.5/5- not a memorable dish but the same chicken broth as before which we loved. *Spring roll-4/5 Overall a good menu and some memorable dishes. Prices are decent as well.

Glad we came earlier in the evening. The decor in the restaurant was beautiful! Loved the bamboo chandeliers. Our host was really nice. We told him that since it's our anniversary that we will go all the way and order the Phozilla!!! We also ordered peach green tea lemonade. As we waited, one of the server handed us a Lychee Coconut Freeze, a complimentary drink to help celebrate our anniversary. That was really sweet of them. This drink tastes like a dessert. Yummy!!! Wow, when our Phozilla came, it is huge! The lobster, beef rib, bone marrow, filet mignon and brisket was beautifully arranged in this big round bowl. Bowl is big enough to feed 4 people. We started with filling our bowl with the soup and noodle. The beef broth was flavorful with the green onions and cilantro. Next the rib was full of meat and tender. The lobster was cooked perfectly, sweet and delicious. Then dip made with butter and sweet chili elevated your taste buds. The bone marrow was savory and velvety in texture. The filet mignon melt in your mouth and the brisket was tasty and tender. It was a lot, but we devoured all the stuffings except the noodles. We had a lot of noodles left. It was just too much noodle for 2 people. Overall this was the ultimate meal. We loved it and enjoyed our dinner. The lychee at the end cleansed our palette and we left the place satisfied. This is our second time and we will be back!

The mixed chicken/dry noodle blew me away, it was so addicting. I love shallots so all the dried shallots on top made me feel like I was in my own personal heaven. After visiting my first time, I was already craving more. I have since visited a few more time and every time the food quality has been consistently great. I am very particular and picky with my chicken and typically don't order chicken pho because the chicken tends to be pretty dry. Their chicken here is so delectable and tender, doesn't have a weird "chicken" taste, and absorbs the pho broth very nicely. Normally chicken pho is neglected as most people opt for beef, but their chicken pho was absolutely the show stopper. The broth is flavorful and deep and doesn't make you feel heavy- like you've overloaded with salt afterwards. Also the tableside pickled onions and peppers are also delicious in the broth. The service has been great every-time. It's usually just one man (which I believe is the owner?), and he has been lovely and helpful at recommendations. The food runners are also very nice as they've always greeted us with a smile! 10/10 I would give this place a try if you can! (:

This older man walks around very ambitious with his little credit card terminal ready to charge anyone who is anyone. He gives no receipt. He is the owner and the waiter. But he does not give any service and just expects tip. All he does is walk around and collect money & does the very minimum. I've given this place multiple chances over the years, but unfortunately each experience has been uncomfortable in one way or another. The first time was around 2022. My family and I arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and the owner told us he would still serve us. After seating us, though, he immediately pressured us to order quickly and told us we had to eat fast because they were closing. I was with my elderly relatives too so just turn us away? If that was the case, it would've been better to simply not seat us. Don't be greedy just bc you want a few bucks. Another time, my husband called to order Hanoi-style pho to go, and the owner responded with unnecessary attitude, saying that's the only kind they serve. LOL, ok. The interaction felt rude for no reason. Most recently, we came on Mother's Day. The dishwasher/staff member was also unfriendly. The bun cha was decent according to my mom, and my husband said the beef stew noodle dish was okay, but my pho lacked flavor entirely. I wasn't expecting it to compare to pho in Vietnam or even San Jose, but it tasted very bland so I didn't finish it. The service from the owner continues to be the biggest issue. When we paid, he stood over us while I counted cash, so I felt pressure to count fast and add tip quickly. He left then came back a few seconds later then quickly grabbed the money without even asking whether I needed change and disappeared faster than the wind. The whole interaction felt awkward and pushy. He has a very strange personality. He's honestly very sleazy and has bad energy After several experiences like this, we won't be returning.
