Lychee and Strawberry
Crissy G.

Went here on the weekend. It gets busy. We were able to find a table and hangout! The drinks are yummy! You'll probably have to wait for the drinks, but well worth it! Great place to hangout! Service is great! Very easy to navigate the computer system to order!

I could say one of our favorite Boba place. Since they open in Millbrae been going there many times our office is very close and usually group order thru DoorDash. Personally I love the TGY -3T. My team said fresh milk is good and fruit teas

TPTea- 12.25.2025- not sure what the first drink is, strawberry milk smoothie w egg pudding, passion mango blend no milk with boba - Three bubble tea beverages with various flavors and toppings are displayed on a white surface, featuring tapioca pearls and fruit pieces.

Needed a sweet treat after dinner and the kids wanted boba. Thankfully TPTea was open. Very few patrons inside. Extensive menu and again another kiosk ordering establishment. I ordered the mango passion blend, no milk, with boba. Exactly what I wanted, it fulfilled whatever sweet treat craving I had. D1 ordered the strawberry milk smoothie with boba and she really liked hers. 2D2 had the passion fruit tea and liked hers as well. Not sure what my son ordered, some sort of milk tea, but he was very satisfied with his drink. The drinks came out fairly quickly, however the "dining area" could have used some cleaning/ sweeping. But really the previous patrons just needed to clean up after themselves. Entitled much? Literally the garbage can is next to the door when you leave. TPTea was never on my radar before but I will have to say it was very good. I didn't have any expectations prior to this but if ever will definitely keep it as an option.

A cute and delicious spot for your boba fix! There are some tables inside but definitely more of a grab-and-go. The kiosks made the ordering pretty efficient and I didn't have to wait too long for my drink. I tried the Velvet Lychee Fresh Milk Tea with 50% sweet, and boba, and it was quite yummy! The lychee came through quite nicely and tasted authentic. I'm glad I adjusted the sweetness because it might've been a little too sweet if I hadn't. Quite a few drinks that my friend and I looked at didn't have the option to customize the sweetness level which was a little disappointing but I understand if this was intentional or that some drinks simply aren't possible to be made less sweet. A ton of variety here and plenty of non-caffeinated options as well. I'd definitely come back again to try more drinks!

Taiwanese tea shop. Higher quality tea than starbucks and peets. Different flavor profile and cost structure. Nothing less than 5$ but constant business.

One of my to go place for Boba tea in Milbrae. First time I came when they were on grand opening. You order using 2 of the touch screen kiosk. This store is more roomy compare to other near by TP tea store and this one has restroom. My regular order are pineapple, winter melon, and fruit tea. I never order milk tea. They have special topping which usually you can't find at other boba tea shop. It is quite noodle. It has unique texture and not round shape. I like they have promotion of buy one get one once a while when they introduce new drink. For sweetness I always go with 50% or below but for some drinks you cannot adjust the sweetness

One of my favorite boba chains. I've frequented the one in Berkeley and love it, and this one is just as good. My partner and I got 2 drinks to split this time: tie guan yin milk tea and velvet osmanthus milk tea. Both were so tasty - the perfect amount of tea flavor and balanced with milky creaminess. I will say that they were both a little sweeter than expected even though we got less sweet percentages for both (50% and 70%) so if you're a bit sensitive to sweetness I recommend getting a very low sweetness percent. Even with it being sweet, it was still delicious. The shop itself is pretty spacious and clean - basic table setups but there was enough room to stand around while we waited for our orders. It was fairly busy since it was a Saturday afternoon but the workers were nice. Overall, I continue to love TP Tea and recommend it to all my friends!

The drinks are good here, and it is on par with their other locations. They also make them quickly. This location has seating which is great ...and not so great. The times I've come here, the tables have always been a little sticky and wobbly. The floor was also sticky. It seemed like they put no budget in the seating area. Moreover, the trash cans were often overflowing, and there were receipts on the floor and tables. Once, I went into the restroom and honestly wish I didn't. It looked like it wasn't maintained at all-wet floors and with toilet paper on the floor. It makes me question the hygiene of this spot. I think the management here needs to do better with staffing to make this location a safer and more enjoyable place for guests.

Oh TP Tea, thanks for coming to the US and bringing tea goodness so close to home. This location is very large vs San Mateo and has lots of seating! The team works super hard and fast - you can watch the hustle while you wait for the drink. The drinks come out quite fast considering how busy it is! There's 2 self order kiosks or you can use the snack pass app. Love it when the process is frictionless! I came here after being disappointed on a matcha craving up the block and was a bit wary of getting a matcha drink at TP tea but it was actually decent! I got the strawberry matcha latte with 0% sweetness added and the flavors were nicely balanced. It's not the same matcha depth as the Japanese matcha chains but truly not bad! I still prefer TP tea fruit tea drinks but nice to know I could do a matcha here as well.

TP Tea offers a good variety of tea drinks that I don't usually see at some Asian tea places. Good size location with a few tables to sit. We ordered the Golden Osmanthus Milk Tea with Boba. Not a lot of places offer this choice with Osmanthus. Osmanthus offers a bright flavor and floral aroma that you don't find with your run of the mill Jasmine tea or Black Milk Tea. The aroma was clearly pronounced. We ordered 80% sweetness and thought it was actually the right amount of sweetness and we usually don't like our drinks that sweet. The boba was solid, nothing special. The tea flavor could have been a little stronger but overall satisfied with the drink.

Egg waffles ; overcooked too crispy - Egg waffles with bubble-shaped bubbles are placed in a red paper cup on a car dashboard, with a blurred background of a parking lot.

TP Tea offer a variety of drinks as well as toppings that I've enjoyed. My favorite so far has been their Osmanthus with cream top. I've also tried to same drink but with the Ube cream top and that was yummy as well. I would normally give them a 5 stars but unfortunately their Egg Waffles are disappointing. They are over cooked; too crispy and when you're chewing on it, every bite is crunchy. I prefer Egg Waffles that have a crispy crust but the inside is soft and chewy almost mochi like. I hope they will improve on them.

Great place for a post meal tea! Easy ordering on the wall tablet. Drinks didnt take too long. There was some seating, tables were quite wobbly though. The tea was good, my favorite was the orange milk tea (slushie texture)!

First time at this boba shop. It was super busy on a saturday mid afternoon. Had to wait at least 20 mins for our entire order. The drinks are so good & their boba is so soft to chew. My favorite about this place is the sweetness fragrance from the store since this store can offer to customize your sweetness all the way to 120%. Parking can be hard, the ambiance inside is very modern. They have automated machine reading the orders outloud, and they jusy have a spot by the counter where they place the orders. Overall, if the drinks come faster, this place can for sure be my go-to.

I ordered the Gui Hua Oat Latte, since that sounded pretty unique. There was other drinks that I was interested in trying like some of the matcha drinks, but I rarely see an osmanthus-inspired drink at coffee shops. It is made already with oat milk, so I didn't have to ask for any milk substitutions. I thought it was pretty good in terms of a latte, however, I wish the osmanthus flavor was a little stronger. The barista mentioned that the latte would have more of a floral taste, but it felt pretty faint. Cost was pretty similar to other coffee shops in the area, since it was $8-9 for my drink with oat milk already included. Other than that, would come back if I'm ever back in the area. I like the cozy vibes and fun drinks that they have!

That said, it's not bad at all, and when you're in San Bruno/Millbrae and don't feel like driving into SF Chinatown, this is one of the better local options. Not too many solid Chinese bakeries around here, so it fills the gap without being a total letdown. Best egg tarts are still at Golden Gate Bakery in SF Chinatown--no contest. It will definitely put you in a food coma for the rest of the day haha. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with sunny side up. I wish there was more gravy on the biscuit as it was just the top layer that had gravy. The eggs do have a heavy butter after taste. The chicken and waffles was my favorite. It's pretty much half a chicken, and fried well. All pieces were juicy and I love that they give you gravy on the side in a cup! Too bad they didn't give that for the biscuits. Waffle was light and fluffy. We couldn't finish the chicken so there was a little to take home. The mimosas were with freshly squeezed orange juice which was nice. It was a bummer when we went to get our second drinks the cashier told us we should have just gotten the mimosa kit. We didn't know that was a big bottle with OJ...but too late.
