    Current cup sleeve collab

Very interesting setup for ordering. I admit I haven't been to as many boba places as I used to, so maybe it's the trend now to move away from human interaction when ordering. There was one person in the kitchen working on drinks and no one at the counter. Ordering is done through two kiosks with a self serve utensil and whatnot at the counter for when you pick up drinks. Because no one is at the counter, based on the three printer paper sized signs on the wall, stealing drinks is rampant. I ordered a hot Hokkaido Milk tea with no sugar and agar boba. The boba add ons are all an additional $0.75. It came out hot, so hot that my agar boba was more like soft jelly than chewy. The milk tea tasted more of milk than tea. It's not bad but not something I'd seek out again. They have the omori collab cup sleeves. I'm aware this brand does a lot of games collabs but I find their tea nothing special.

Was in the area for lunch and this milk tea spot is walking distance so we decided to try it. Walked in and they have kiosk to self order. They have a really well balance menu with good amount of options but not overwhelming. We ended up getting the hokkaido ceylon milk team and matcha oolong. Both 75% sweetness and they were both delicious. The hokkaido ceylon was mind blowingly good and have not tried anything like that before. Totally worth visiting this place if you want some good milk tea!

Mango frost was gone in 5 min by the father, Oreo chocolate frost loaded with Oreo bites made tbe youngest dance , then two Boba milktea inhales by older sister and mother. Everyone got everything we ever need and want for afternoon snack [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little " alley" store, like you're walking into a straw itself hahah no chairs or tables to hang out. My fault for not checking before going[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Sunright Boba Milk Tea

I love Sunright and I'm so happy that there's one in the Peninsula. This is located in downtown Burlingame. I've been to multiple Sunright locations, and this one is probably the smallest out of all the ones I've visited. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is more of a grab-and-go. They do have one long bench on one side of the wall for you to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are two kiosks for ordering. After I placed my order, my drink came out pretty quick. I ordered the Sunright Boba Milk Tea at 25% sweetness, and my bf got the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea with cheese foam and boba. The boba was warm when the drinks came out. I loved my drink; it was delicious. The boba had the perfect balance of softness and chewiness. The drink was still sweet even at 25%, and I'm sure some of the sweetness came from the boba. If I had gotten anything higher than 25%, it probably would've been too sweet for me. I will definitely be back in the future!

Sunright is just not right for me. Of the three drinks I've tried over three separate visits, I've enjoyed & finished exactly zero. Strawberry Jasmine Tea tasted extremely bitter & had a foamy top layer that was unpleasant & unexpected. Both their Crème Brûlée Boba Milk and Mango Frostie were cloyingly sweet, even at 50% sweetness. Simply not enjoyable. (Sidenote: before tossing my drinks in the trash, I offered them to my companions in case they found them acceptable; nope, they confirmed the drinks weren't good. Couldn't give these away.)

Burlingame has about 3 boba shops right now and Sunright has the most and highest overall rating so I decided to give it a try. I couldn't decide between a hot taro milk tea $5.20 and a matcha latte w/pistachio cream cheese foam $7.20 so I got BOTH! Since I don't like my drinks sweet, I chose 0% sugar for both drinks. The hot taro was disappointing -- not much taro flavor and basically tasted like steamed milk. The pistachio cheese foam on the matcha latte was super delicious and paired well with the refreshing matcha. I chose agar boba, supposedly a healthier option You can order through store kiosk or QR code. Wednesday at 5pm order took only a few minutes. Lots of people coming by for drinks. Overall Sunright is more light boba quick drinks type of place.

Matcha Oolong Milk Tea & Strawberry Matcha Latte

Got the matcha oolong tea (75% sweetness & less ice) & strawberry matcha latte (normal sweetness and less ice). They currently have a buy one get the second one 50% off) from 1/20-2/13, with the code: Matcha50 for online order. Remember to put this code in before paying. Their matcha drinks are decent, it's not bitter but it can be smoother. The sweetness was just right for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment is clean and staff were friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was easy to order online and pick up the drinks.

Honkai Impact 3 collab cups - Mei and Elysia drinks

Dropped by for their Honkai Impact 3 collab and was slightly disappointed that their promo freebie items were already unavailable for the day. The drinks were good and had to be ordered in person only (collab drinks were not available to order online or through 3rd party). All drinks, no matter if it's a collaboration drink or not, come in random Honkai Impact cups. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I find that this location doesn't put in extra effort into decorating during collabs whereas other locations really go all out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Mango Milk Tea w/ Boba
    Miranda L.

Headed over at around 7:30 pm and there wasn't a line when we ordered from the kiosk. My friend said she really enjoys their drinks, especially because of their boba. Mango Milk Tea w/ Boba - The mango flavor was very strong, tasted fresh which I enjoyed and masked out the bitterness of the tea. The boba on the other hand was pretty hard and didn't seem fresh but could have been because it was nearing the end of the day. It had a decent chewy texture but wasn't what I was expecting. Overall, I would come back to try some of their other drinks and see if the boba was different compared to the day I went.

If I'm in the area for dinner and craving boba afterward, this place is usually my go-to! There are two ordering kiosks which makes the process super quick so it's perfect for a grab-and-go, [[HIGHLIGHT]]but there's also a long bench inside if you want to hang out for a bit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My friend and I stopped by after dinner and ended up sitting and chatting for an hour with our drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Sunright Boba Milk Tea (went with the recommended 100% sweetness which isn't usually my thing, but it wasn't overly sweet at all!) and my friend got the Mango Jasmine Tea with agar boba. Both were delicious and hit the spot.

A few years ago, my friend and I used to go all the way to the South Bay for Sunright. But now, we have one right here in Burlingame! It is located in downtown Burlingame, near a ton of restaurants and shops. I usually come here after working out at Barry's (guilty as charged) or after lunch/dinner with friends. The interior is bright yellow and they always have k-pop playing, which is fun! I usually get the White Peach Oolong Cheese with honey boba, 75% sweet. I really enjoy the light fruity flavor of the tea paired with the sea-salt cheese foam. The honey boba is always bouncy and chewy. It can get busy at times but the service is efficient and there is bench seating inside while you wait.

Order # gets texted to you and label on your cup

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's an entertaining place lit up and fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The flat screen at the front tells you all the drink options. The title says to shake 17x or something like that which I forgot to do lol. You order on the touch screens next to the front counter - Ice amount portions, sweetness level - it does take a little time to get though all the options and pay if you are new to the place. I ended up with the Mango Milk Tea. It was ok but because I failed to shake it up 17x, it was quite tasteless at the bottom 20% of the cup lol I would try strawberry or Matcha next time.
