They also have pretty solid kids options as well as we come here pretty often with the kids they have the Boba milk and couple different flavors such as strawberry Boba milk, which my daughter loves. My favorite is the mango slushy where they blend fresh mangoes with dried mangoes and also put jasmine tea jelly. It is super flavorful taste like very creamy mango and it's just the perfect drink in my opinion. Service is great. Sunright Tea Studio has been one of my top places for boba because the quality of their drinks have been consistently good. I usually frequent the Union City location, but I come by this location occasionally since it's close to work. Parking is a bit difficult. Usually, I street park a few blocks down and walk to the shop. The shop is smaller with some seating on the side but no tables. Whenever I order, I do a pickup, so I haven't interacted with the staff here, but my drinks have been pretty good so far. I've tried the Oreo Brulee Boba Milk at 25% sweetness. This drink is very decadent and filling by the time I was halfway through my drink. It's lightly sweet and delicious, but not really something I would pick all the time. I've had the Jasmine Milk Tea at 25% sweetness. This drink has a light floral taste which is good! I will say it's on the milkier side, so the tea flavor is a bit light. The Oolong Milk Tea at 25% sweetness is something I would also get, and I think it has a stronger tea flavor compared to the Jasmine Milk Tea. I recently tried the Hokkaido Milk Tea at 25% sweetness with boba. It has a light butterscotch flavor. It's very creamy, smooth, and decadent with a black tea taste. It's definitely on the milkier side. I did feel that I had a bit too much boba relative to the drink because I had 10-15 boba pearls left by the time I finished. Very interesting setup for ordering. I admit I haven't been to as many boba places as I used to, so maybe it's the trend now to move away from human interaction when ordering. There was one person in the kitchen working on drinks and no one at the counter. Ordering is done through two kiosks with a self serve utensil and whatnot at the counter for when you pick up drinks. Because no one is at the counter, based on the three printer paper sized signs on the wall, stealing drinks is rampant. I ordered a hot Hokkaido Milk tea with no sugar and agar boba. The boba add ons are all an additional $0.75. It came out hot, so hot that my agar boba was more like soft jelly than chewy. The milk tea tasted more of milk than tea. It's not bad but not something I'd seek out again. They have the omori collab cup sleeves. I'm aware this brand does a lot of games collabs but I find their tea nothing special. read more

I love Sunright and I'm so happy that there's one in the Peninsula. This is located in downtown Burlingame. I've been to multiple Sunright locations, and this one is probably the smallest out of all the ones I've visited. This location is more of a grab-and-go. They do have one long bench on one side of the wall for you to sit. There are two kiosks for ordering. After I placed my order, my drink came out pretty quick. I ordered the Sunright Boba Milk Tea at 25% sweetness, and my bf got the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea with cheese foam and boba. The boba was warm when the drinks came out. I loved my drink; it was delicious. The boba had the perfect balance of softness and chewiness. The drink was still sweet even at 25%, and I'm sure some of the sweetness came from the boba. Burlingame has about 3 boba shops right now and Sunright has the most and highest overall rating so I decided to give it a try. I couldn't decide between a hot taro milk tea $5.20 and a matcha latte w/pistachio cream cheese foam $7.20 so I got BOTH! Since I don't like my drinks sweet, I chose 0% sugar for both drinks. The hot taro was disappointing -- not much taro flavor and basically tasted like steamed milk. The pistachio cheese foam on the matcha latte was super delicious and paired well with the refreshing matcha. Sunright used to be my boyfriend and I's favorite boba place (we go more than twice a week) until this recent visit on Aug 26,2025 at 5:48pm. This review is purely on service, which there is none!!! We ordered two different types of half gallon teas, and waited over 20 minutes for it, even though there was only one group ahead of us. We accidentally ordered Ceylon tea but wanted Ceylon milk tea, after realizing it, we asked the blonde guy if they could spill some out and pour some milk in it, and he straight up replied "No." "You can order another one if you want" WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT? During this 100° fall heatwave, Sunright was busy, but their busyness didn't take away from their quality! I have enjoyed Sunright ever since it has opened in Burlingame. Off the bat their milk tea tasted of quality. I order a Thai tea where ever I go and this place has been one of the better ones on my list. But for me their strengths come from their house boba which is wonderfully made with great taste and texture a little different from your normal tapioca pearls. Their online order and their kiosk order option make it easy to get your drinks in a timely manner even when it's packed. Their staff is always helpful and sweet to talk to.
