A shop that specialized on Philippine bibingka( coconut rice cake) at Milbrae. The shop is nice with seating areas. It was not busy when we arrive as the just opened. There are different topping of bibingka you can choose from like Dubai chocolate, Nutella, etc. They also have coffee, latte, halo halo drink, smoothie, boba, and food too. Most of bibingka the are in shape of cup cake with different topping. I ordered Vietnamese ice coffee and Dubai chocolate pistachio bibingka and they are good and yummy. I wish the vietnamese coffee a bit stronger. I wish they have buco pie but they don't have it today. It is nice store as it has many choices to choose from. Will try other stuff next time. read more

Binka Bites was good, but not something I'd go out of my way for. I tried a few bites and they were decent and filling, with a nice texture, but the flavors didn't really stand out to me. The tres leches is honestly the most expensive I've ever come across... and for what $8/small pc? It's super sweet and not in a good way. Their bibinka tastes fine, but definitely not for the price they're charging. $6-$8 a piece for tiny cupcakes? At that point, the box better come with stamping of silver or gold. Coz if you are charging $96 (not taxed yet) for a dozen of tiny sweet rice cake, that's extremely insane. We came here for some dessert after a late Easter lunch. The restaurant we were at ran out of dessert and my wife wanted some. We did a quick search on Yelp and found this Filipino gem. When we walked in, we were greeted by very nice employees and live music. We ordered a variety of Filipino delights: Ube Flan Binka Bite, Dulce Salted Egg Binka Bite, Regular Taho, Strawberry Taho, Mango Shake and Halo Halo. Everything we had were good. Ommmggggg. This is a must try. Best Binkas I've had in a long time! We got the binka with cheese, binka with coconut, guava dulce and Dubai chocolate-- and that was the order of our favorites. Though it says "cupcake" it isn't a traditional cupcake it is more baked mochi consistency and it's just the perfect amount of sweet. We also got the Vietnamese coffee (hot) and ube with espresso (hot). We loved both and highly recommend trying them! Justine was so nice and friendly. The store was clean and orderly. Took my mom here for merienda for some coffee and Binka Bites over the weekend and had a great time. I was able to find street parking just a short walk away. Got the Ube Latte and a Mocha Latte with Oat milk. Unfortunately, the Ube Latte isn't able to have modifications to the milk. Got two classic Binka Bites, Salted Egg & Cheese to enjoy with our drinks. The drinks were delicious and the bites were as good as I remember, great chew and the perfect combination of sweet, salty and savory! They offer many things besides baked sweets such as the babingka bites and buko pie, from empanadas to rice bowls and even Taho and Halo Halo. I find that they quickly run out of flavors especially the Ube Leche Flan, so early mornings are best for pickings. Service is always fast and friendly. The space is also spacious and a good place to chill or even work a bit, as it isn't too busy inside. Price is on the steeper end, but these are small batch treats and don't have too many places specifically churning these out. Definitely a good one-in-a-while kind of treat. read more

Binka bites is a cafe rooted in Filipino pastries and influences in all their items, in particular, Ube, mango and dulce flavored sweets and coffee. Having passed by the spot on numerous occasions, I've decided to finally order here after moping around all morning in the area without caffeine, I mustered up the idea to yelp some options and binka came up. Conveniently, they also sold pastries so what better pairing on a Sunday morning? I ordered the Uber vanilla latte which had a mild Ube and vanilla flavor, while not being overly sweetened (preference). This paired really well with the guava and in particular, the biscoff bite I ordered. On top of that, we also ordered a nice beef empanada which was made to order. The empanada had a nice baked crust with delicious, perfectly seasoned filling. The service at binka was one highlight in particular. The staff were bubbly, and very helpful to any questions I had on items, and they were informative as far as recommendations after I mentioned being a first time patron. The store itself was very brightly lit, very clean and offered a relaxing environment for any folks looking to chat with friends over some cafe items. Parking is plentiful between the plazas underground lot and street parking, although it can get a little hectic. my friends and i decided to come to this cafe for their matcha after reading a lot of great reviews about this cafe. we came in on a friday morning & there was no wait to order, with one person doing both the front and back of the house duties. my friend ordered the matcha latte & my other friend ordered the ube latte. when the girl came out with the matcha latte, we knew something wasn't right. the color was super dull and not vibrant like how good matcha should be. the drink itself tasted like milk mixed with green tea NOT matcha. my other friend who ordered the ube matcha was also extremely disappointed. it tasted nothing like ube and tasted like sugar mixed with milk. she decided to ask the cashier to make her another drink (thai tea) & was also super disappointed with it. it was way too sweet and tasted nothing like thai tea. after my friend complained about her matcha drink, i decided to order a black sesame latte. we waited around 20 mins before the barista came out to tell us she was unable to make it. i wish she would have told us a bit earlier instead of making us wait for that long. overall, i don't think i would come back. the drinks were very mid. read more

Binka Bites is a cute little restaurant in Millbrae. Parking is fairly easy depending on the time of day. the people that work there are really nice. The food was just OK. We got Elizabeth's favorite muffin and that was really good as was the Nutella. The spam musubi was microwaved so the saran wrap was really stuck to the rice and the spam. There was not enough teriyaki sauce and way too much rice. It was out of balance. We ordered the Japanese style egg salad sandwich and to me, Japanese style means no crust, but there was crust on it. There wasn't much filling as you can see from my picture and it was expensive. that being said the bread and the egg salad was delicious. We loved it. The problem was that they told us we had everything but then when we got home, we found we did not have everything. they hadn't given us the sandwich so I had to drive all the way back. It's sort of was fine because I needed to drive back anyway because the Thai tea was terrible. they hadn't put any sweetener in it and it just tasted awful so that was a disappointment but once they fixed it, it was really good. Absolutely delicious! Binka Bites is a must-visit for anyone who loves bibingka with a creative twist. We chose the flavors we wanted and there was so many good ones to choose from, I mean, that was a challenge, because they all looked so good. I also opted for their black sesame latte to try, but it wasn't the best in terms of flavor so I'd skip it next time. The binka bites and empanadas were good, though, and so was service. Interior is inviting and spacious with green plants and artwork on the walls, and seems like a nice place to study or work. For drink, I ordered the Manila ube espresso and both coffee and ube flavors were strong but I wish there was less ice. For a snack/dessert, I chose the ube flan and guava cupcakes. Although they tasted good flavor wise, they were cold and didn't taste as fresh as I hoped. We are always warmly greeted and have ordered dozens for family functions multiple times! Very bad customer service. I went there at 1 pm desserts are half way gone. There are only cup cakes size binka bites left. I ordered 2 halo halo & one boba but I had to wait for 20 minutes for this. The owner is extremely rude. I have service dog but she doesn't want him inside the store even they have a sign of service dog accepted. She doesn't know how to talk to customer. The employee greeted me and told me about how the store started as a stand at the farmers market (super awesome!) and she also told me about the menu. The menu is influenced by filipino desserts. Saw these on IG and immediately had to try them out. They have two locations, but Millbrae was much closer than South SF. Tried the classic salted egg & cheese and Ube flan flavors. Of the two, Ube flan was my favorite. It was just more flavorful of the two in my opinion. I wish the classic one had a stronger salted egg & cheese flavor. Otherwise it didn't really standout to me. Obsessed with the cupcakes here. There are a variety of different flavors and I'm a sucker for anything that is unique and not what you would typically find at your chain grocery store or bakery. I decided to try their ube flan, mocha cookie crumble, and nutella flavors. All three were delicious but the ube flan in particular, really stood out to me. I like that they use mochi flour in their dough which makes the cupcakes more spongey and dense than your traditional cupcake. I also tried a couple of their savory bites - a mini spinach and cheese quiche and a mushroom empanada. Actually, 2.5 stars IMHO. I had been Jonesing BB for some time after seeing them on IG. I guess I had built them up too high with anticipation, however. From what I can tell, all (except for the Ube ones) of the cupcakes start with the original/base bibingka. It is the toppings which impart the "flavors". Once those are gone, you know what remains right? My original intention was to just pick up the cupcakes. However, I ordered with my hungry stomach which led me to get a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and the Strawberry Matcha Latte, as well. I paid $7 for a lackluster sando the size of a hotdog with bun. It consisted of just meat and cheese. Where were the peppers and onions. The SML was just ok. They should have pureed the strawberry as the 1/4 and 1/2 sized strawberry pieces could not make it up the straw. read more
