Iced Chai Latte ($5.90 for Large)
Alden C.

I love this Peet's Coffee location. I've been coming here for years and it's in a convenient spot in downtown Millbrae. The service is always friendly every time I go and the atmosphere is usually pretty comfortable. Not much to complain about when going here every now and then. Using the Peets app or any store that utilizes any mobile app is also a faster process too. My go-to is the hot Oatmilk Vanilla Latte which gets a little pricey, but it's basically similar to Starbucks pricing wise. Recently I also got the Iced Chai Latte ($5.90 for Large) and personally I like it more than Starbuck's chai lattes. The team also finishes the drinks very quickly and efficiently which is nice as well. If you are looking for good coffee options to get you through the day while you're in Millbrae then Peet's is a great choice.

Holiday Blend

Clean, cozy place with a good staff. I liked work, calm atmosphere inside the place. Also, I chose the Holiday Blend Cold Oat Brew with Jelly, but asked for it to be made hot and without jelly. No problem! It was tasty. Minus a star because of their bathroom. Even though they have a password, it's dirty and there is toilet paper lying around everywhere, which is pretty nasty.

Condiment Area - well stocked

Monday morning- ugh. Definitely needed a pick me up and something strong. Decided to use the Peets app and ordered right when I found parking. By the time I made it inside and waited maybe one minute, my order was ready!! This location is alway on top of things, makes good coffee drinks and is faster than most coffee places in the area. Consider free parking in the street and all in all - a perfect visit.

We were passing through the area and stopped in to grab a quick coffee. This location is located on the corner of Broadway and Hillcrest. There is easy parking right in front. I have been to many Peet's Coffee locations (and other chain coffee spots) but this review is specifically for Danny. In our brief interaction at the register when he took our order, he gave us the best customer experience. He has such a glowing personality and it's very rare to find someone so genuinely happy and positive in this type of setting. This location is lucky to have someone like him. 6 stars for Danny!

Monday pick me up! I started going to Peet's after working in the city and recently found out I still had a balance on my Peet's card. I decided to stop by my local Peet's and start my week off right! I came by around 8:30am on a Monday and there was only one person ahead of me. I was able to find a parking spot across the street. I know it gets busy in downtown Millbrae so just something to be aware of if you're getting coffee during lunch hours. I ordered my large Matcha Latte sweetened and with 2 extra shots! I give 5 stars solely for this drink because they made it perfectly! I usually always get this drink at work and it's a hit or miss sometimes. So I was especially happy they got it right! It was piping hot and I didn't have to ask for it to be extra hot. After this experience, I will definitely be coming back more often! Everyone was super cheerful and friendly in the morning and this was such a nice start to my work week!

Iced Maple cold brew latte and their iced chai. First off, I can't believe how slow they were. They were busy laughing and joking instead of making drinks for the two people who ordered. They couldn't find any straws or napkins and the woman at the cashier couldn't figure out how to scan my Peets mobile card. Secondly, the chai was soo awful and so was their iced maple latte. The Chai tasted like wet stale feet and their maple latte tasted bitter. Definitely didn't like both drinks and the slow service.

Got a pricey ham, cheese, tomato croissant but it was yummy and worth it. The tea was good too. It was a pineapple citrus shake fruit tea.

There's a limited number of seats inside, but they also have a small outdoor patio as well. Good place to hang out and chill if you're able to grab a seat. I ordered the Gui Hua Oat Latte, since that sounded pretty unique. There was other drinks that I was interested in trying like some of the matcha drinks, but I rarely see an osmanthus-inspired drink at coffee shops. It is made already with oat milk, so I didn't have to ask for any milk substitutions. I thought it was pretty good in terms of a latte, however, I wish the osmanthus flavor was a little stronger. The barista mentioned that the latte would have more of a floral taste, but it felt pretty faint. Cost was pretty similar to other coffee shops in the area, since it was $8-9 for my drink with oat milk already included. Other than that, would come back if I'm ever back in the area. I like the cozy vibes and fun drinks that they have!

Contemporary interior with only some seating in the front, but they also have a back patio with more seating. Very clean bathroom which is always a plus. There was also a red bean/mochi bread that was interesting. I probably wouldn't get this again, but good to try. I'm curious to try the other steamed buns that are $8-9/per container of four. Portuguese egg tarts were $3.75/per which is a little expensive imo. We'll be back some day.

Regular HK-style ones are just okay too, nothing standout. Not cheap either (around $3 each these days?), but I guess you're paying for convenience on the Peninsula. That said, it's not bad at all, and when you're in San Bruno/Millbrae and don't feel like driving into SF Chinatown, this is one of the better local options. Not too many solid Chinese bakeries around here, so it fills the gap without being a total letdown. Best egg tarts are still at Golden Gate Bakery in SF Chinatown--no contest. Theirs have that perfect silky, jiggly custard and buttery crust that makes you want to go back immediately. Suzanne's is fine for a quick fix, but if you can make the trip, skip this and head to GG Bakery instead. Solid neighborhood spot if you're lazy like me and want something nearby, but don't expect it to blow your mind.

I am not a fan of tipping before you even get your food, especially because if you want a drink or refill, you do have to get up and pay again... The food itself was good, portions are huge! It will definitely put you in a food coma for the rest of the day haha. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with sunny side up. I wish there was more gravy on the biscuit as it was just the top layer that had gravy. The eggs do have a heavy butter after taste. The chicken and waffles was my favorite. It's pretty much half a chicken, and fried well. All pieces were juicy and I love that they give you gravy on the side in a cup! Too bad they didn't give that for the biscuits. Waffle was light and fluffy. We couldn't finish the chicken so there was a little to take home. The mimosas were with freshly squeezed orange juice which was nice. It was a bummer when we went to get our second drinks the cashier told us we should have just gotten the mimosa kit. We didn't know that was a big bottle with OJ...but too late. I would definitely come back to try some other items. Food came out quick too.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.

Also, most of the time, the service is just service, no smiles and nothing special or friendly about it. The fruits lack freshness. Recently we bought a cake and it was covered in moldy raspberries. They have a bunch of cream filled pastries on display at room temperature, which also seems sketchy. One time I bought a cream filled croissant in the afternoon and it tasted spoiled and had to be thrown out.
