Found this quaint coffee shop while I was getting my smog check. They serve Lavazza coffee and cookies and loafs to go with them. The owner, Adam, was friendly and welcoming. Glad to support small businesses. You should too.

Small Mexican mocha. Variety of cookies!

If you don't know what to pick or want recs don't be afraid to walk up and speak to one of the kind folks working the front cashier. Super organized, screen scares where you are in the cue and a steady pace of of people coming through and a few seating spots that you can hang out while you're enjoying your drink. They even have some games like Uno, Cards against Humanity and chess etc to play amongst friends/family. Came once before with my daughter that she insisted we come back before the end of summer and make sure we had her little brother with us this time (awww). So if you're into this tea and boba and more scene, stop by when you're in the Serramonte area. Prices are fair for what it is, ranges between $7.95-$9.95 depending on how many extras you want to include. Sweetness options go from perfect, light, to none and Ice options go from regular, light, none, or hot! Also just one size. They are in the strip mall where Sprouts and Sketcher's are.... Parking is plenty and time getting your drink is reasonable and worth the wait even if it seems crowded inside.

Pro tip: ORDER AHEAD Heytea is a chain I've always liked,…read moreand I am pleased to get another consistently tasty drink from this Daly City location! It's located in Westlake shopping plaza so there was ample parking, even on a weekend during dinner time. I had ordered online ahead of time as I had a coupon expiring soon. 10% ain't much but ykw it's honest work. I have been meaning to try their guava drinks forever, and finally today I got the guava grape, which can be made with or without jasmine tea. I got it the recommended way, with the tea, as well as less ice and less sugar. The drink was ready when we arrived. The store smells delicious as all Heyteas do. We waited a few minutes for a worker to be freed up, and were on our way, drinks in hand, 5 minutes later. The guava grape drink tasted just as I hoped it would. The guava and jasmine tea gave each sip a delicately earthy, floral flavor, and the crispness of the grape and the chunks of fresh grape brightened up each sip. This drink was just as good the following day as it was fresh, an important metric for me as the slowest drink-finisher I know. I will definitely be back to this Heytea if I am in the area. I saw that they brought back their blue coconut matcha with coconut jelly, which is my favorite matcha drink from them, so I will for sure get that next time!

We ordered their Ferrero Rocher Latte and Pandan cold brew. The Ferrero Rocher latte tasted malty and slightly like a cold frozen hot chocolate. I didn't really taste the hazelnut but it was still delicious. I enjoyed my Pandan cold brew; it's sweet with that Pandan syrup. Next time, I'd like to try their seasonal drink, Guava Matcha Latte with a cream top! They also carry baked goods from Neighbor bakery in SF. We loved the Ube twice baked croissant! This one does taste like the actual purple yam which is a plus. I want to come back for this again. Overall, we enjoyed this coffee shop and what it offers. It's the best coffee shop in town!

I never remember to ask what beans they use, but they do favour the more fruity beans. The espresso pull is alright, but if you're not into the more tart and fruity profile, you might not be into it (which is the case with the mister). There is plenty of street parking and a nearby garage, but it's definitely more geared towards locals to happen to be in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way for this particular place, but it's pretty nice if I happen to be grabbing brunch around here.

Tried the pistachio cream Vietnamese coffee and it was good and strong. They even added some crushed pistachios on top. When I mixed in the cream I could taste the hint of nuttiness. Now I just order my drink with less ice :) My original favorite was the coconut matcha, but recently I tried their banana cream matcha and whoa. The banana cream tasted so fresh and was a good addition on top of the matcha, it easily became my new favorite. I appreciate how they used real banana for the cream instead of just banana flavored syrup. The crème brûlée matcha is really good too. The strawberry matcha wasn't my favorite only because the strawberry purée wasn't sweet enough, and the strawberries were too chunky to sip through the straw. Maybe I'll have to try it again This is a really cute cafe with a good selection of drinks to choose from. I definitely want to try more stuff on their menu, especially the Vietnamese coffees I've noticed how Vietnamese / matcha spots have become really popular recently in the bay. I like to think of this place as a hidden gem because of its location and their yummy drinks. It would be interesting to see if they were to do some seasonal or rotational flavors like egg coffee, pandan, ube, cookie butter etc, even though they already have a pretty solid menu to choose from! Just an idea because this cute little cafe that's tucked away has a lot of potential
