Writing this so I hope the owners see. I just came back from a trip to Bangkok and was excited for this new Thai dessert spot. I think it's still quite new so they're developing the space which the interior is quite bare but has a lot of potential. Feels like a restaurant layout but I wish it was more chill like a lounge/cafe. Unfortunately there aren't many outlets and worker said no wifi, if there was I would totally come to work here. Items on the menu were okay but maybe my standard is high from just being in Thailand lol. They could really hone in on the Thai experience (asam tea and kanom krok etc) to differentiate from the boba/matcha places. I like you can adjust the sweet level. Kiddo loves pandan so he was excited to give Kanom a try. More tables and chairs added since the last time I visited. They had a Winter special - custard bun and hot drink for $7.95. He ordered the pandan custard buns and Thai green tea. The buns were a bit small but he liked the pandan custard and wished there was more of it. The pork skewer and fries came out piping hot. Liked the coconut milk of both the red ruby and taro ruby desserts. This time also ordered the Coconut pancake which we enjoyed too. I really like this place as it's so clean and they are still expanding their menu. I normally get Thai pancakes with corn, but today we go the ones with pandan. My friend got the matcha drink and they said it had a hint of pandan . As a pandan lover , I highly approve this dish and drink. I loked my Thai coffee and they can make it hot. We got the popcorn chicken today and that wasn't bad. I wish they had the chili powder for it. I hope they have more savory items. Step into this small Thai drink place and they have boba and differrnt Thai teas. They have the unique lesser known green Thai tea, as well as the regular Thai tea. They have a special where if you buy $10 worth of stuff they give you a small lemon tea for free. Coconut bites: served hot and fresh, these were a hit with everyone 5/5 Green Thai tea: 2/5 just didn't like the flavor and too much ice even though I asked for less sweet and less ice. Steamed bread with Pandan dip - The dip wasn't too sweet, which paired well with the steamed bread. Fried bread with Thai tea dip - The dip was lacking in flavor and the bread was too crispy so we actually prefer the steam version. Green MT - It was okay. We stopped by on a weekend afternoon after eating a meal in the plaza for a quick dessert. We opted for the Thai coconut custard bites (6 for $5.95) and enjoyed these a lot! The order was made fresh and we liked the pandan and taro flavor more than the Thai tea custard. The Thai tea custard was the one I thought I'd like the most, but it was a little grainy tasting. Good thing we were able to mix and match the flavors to check them out for our first visit here. Would love to come back to try more of their bites and maybe a drink as well! After dinner my friend and I were thinking, where are we gonna go, there's not many dessert options around here? And we just happened to pass by this lil shop and discovered they're new here! We popped in to get some boba, but also ended up getting shaved ice. The shaved ice was great, each combination includes a few toppings such as grass jelly or sweet corn, and it was good-the ultimate Asian compliment of "Not too sweet!" I got a Sweetie Matcha because look how cute! This one was very sweet, but yummy! Matcha flavor was good. My friend got the Milky Taro, which I felt was a perfect richness. They have a few tables with cute colorful chairs, it may be a nice place to have a little coffee date! An ad on Yelp about a free dessert sample from this place caught my eye, so I came by to check it out! Turns out this a new Thai dessert/drink spot that replaced a dessert place I used to go to frequently before they closed down. Until August 31, they're giving out free samples of their Thai Coconut Pancakes and Kanom Krok (Crispy Custard Bite with pandan filling). I've never had this dessert before but it was a real treat! I was the only one there at that moment and the store owner made me feel very special by coming up to me to make sure everything was okay multiple times. We talked for a while and she told me that they opened only 10 days ago. So cool that they're giving out samples of a menu item that hasn't been officially released yet to gauge customer opinions on it first. The owner was so kind that I wanted to try another item, so I ordered a Green Tea Latte. They have a decent amount of drink options and I was having a hard time deciding so I asked her some of questions to narrow it down. Don't get me wrong, I'm a matcha girly through and through but after she told me that the Green Tea Latte is specifically Thai Green Tea, I knew I should try it since this is a Thai dessert place. I've never had a drink like it; the flavor is pretty subtle (not as strong as a matcha latte) and has a floral sweetness to it. I do wish they had more milk options for their lattes - I usually like to sub for oat milk. This place is still new, so the interior feels quite bare for now but they have ample seating. I have never been to a Thai snacks place and wanted to try. I liked the Thai custards (pandan and Thai tea) served over little pancake shells. They were warm and gave me a sweet and soothing feel. I also tried their shaved ice, which I did not like unfortunately. The ice was chunky and rough, the red syrup tasted like an artificial cherry-bubblegum flavor, and the toppings were buried deep underneath the rough ice (1 star off). This place is relatively new and still seems to be working out its operations. Since I was not familiar with Thai snacks, I had questions on what some of the menu items were, but the staff could not explain, leaving me guessing on what to order (1 star off). I chose the custards and shaved ice based on photos only. I received the shaved ice quickly, but it took awhile to receive the custards, when there were only two other people in the shop. I think this shop has potential, and I would be happy to return when some of their operational kinks have been smoothed out. read more

We were heading to try King Katsu Land when I caught a glimpse of the moo ping (pork skewer) poster outside this shop. So after we finished dinner, we came back to give it a try. I got the Thai Tea Latte. It was like a creamier/milkier Thai iced tea, but the tea was still fragrant and strong. The moo ping was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. It's still in soft opening, so some items are coming soon. The owner was super friendly and asked for feedback on our drinks to see if there was anything to adjust. The dining area is not quite finished yet, but it looks like it will be a colorful and cozy place to enjoy Thai sweets and snacks. I'll be back to try the desserts next time! read more

Walked in after nearby lunch as we were curious about the new place - the location used to be one of our favorite boba shops and we were excited to see that another drinks and dessert spot had taken over! They only opened about 9 days ago so they still have some menu items in progress. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and helped customize a drink for my mom. They offered us samples of their upcoming new item, Kanom Krok - so tasty and we will definitely order next time we're back. We ordered a Thai Coffee Latte (one hot and one cold), a Classic Thai Coffee, a Matcha Honey Lemon, Coconut Thai Tea, and the Thai Custard Set with Steamed Bread. Everyone was impressed by the strength of the Thai coffee, the flavor was very nutty, sweet and savory like a burnt caramel. The Coconut Thai Tea was unique, having no dairy or sweetener, which meant the flavor and quality of the Thai tea really shone through and wasn't overwhelmed at all by the coconut water. The Matcha Lemon Honey had a great lemon flavor but a little less of the lemon honey part would've allowed the matcha flavor to be present. We ordered the Thai Custard Set with the pandan custard because it seemed similar to the pandan bread fondue from U Dessert Story but much cheaper. It didn't seem like the bread was made in house but it was still super fluffy and they warmed it up prior to serving. The pandan custard was also warm and on par with the one from U Dessert Story, but slightly more custard-y in flavor. We crave it once in a while and after trying the one here, I think this will be our go-to for it! The space has some tables and chairs but is still about half empty. I'm sure they'll fill it out once they're open longer. Hope they can get some business and looking forward to our next visit! read more

What a quaint little spot! This is newly open shop runs by the lovely Thai lady and a man. She's so sweet and kind . Having a spot like this in Bay Area is huge for me as I get a piece of my home right here in the neighborhood The food reminds me of night market stalls as there's variety of Thai local flavor drinks and late night snacks. You can always count on Moo Ping sticky rice to do the trick if you need a quick bite on your busy lunchtime meal! I recommend their Kanom Krok. A new dessert/tea shop that opened up. I decided to swing by to give it a try and got the coconut thai tea and the coconut matcha, both with 25% sweet. The drinks were made fresh and you can taste the coconut water flavor come through despite the strong flavors of the tea. As this place just opened up, it was a bit bare bones inside but I imagine they will build out the decor as time goes on. I also wish that they had more snack options available. Love their potatoes balls. Crunchy and reminds me of Thailand. Their crispy crepe is also very good. Unfortunately you need to eat it quick. They don't stay crunchy for long. Their lemon tea drink is so refreshing too. I went a little nuts on ordering. Unfortunately their pork skewers are not impressive to us. Not what we are used to. The meat is grounded and we like our pork to have that crispy fat. You will not get it from here so skip it if you can. The other items are good though. Love the cleanliness of the inside. Airflow is great and plenty of parking when I got there. Love the girl that tend the front counter. Such an attentive person and very kind towards everyone I see came in. I saw that this spot just opened a little over a month ago and decided to give them a try. It's not common to find a dessert/snack shop based specifically around Thai cuisine. We got a little bit of everything to try out. We got the Thai matcha tea. I thought it was ok, but needed more Thai tea flavor and less matcha. The pandan and Thai tea flavor custards were pretty good. We got one order with steamed bread and the other with Chinese donut. I liked both options, but the pandan was a bit better. Same for the carb option, the Chinese donut was slightly better with the custards as well. We also tried the fried chicken skin and moo-ping (pork patties skewers) with sticky rice. The chicken skin was ok, can use a little more and the moo-ping was light and tender and nicely flavored. We also got the shaved ice with the red Blue Boy with boba and condensed milk and that was simple and nostalgic. They are still adding new items to their menu so I will make sure to stop by again and try some other thangs! read more
