We came here on a Saturday night after our anniversary dinner so that we could get dessert here. Great place for desserts. The customer service is good. Free lot parking, good amount of seating. The ambience is amazing. All were good. Staff is very helpful and nice. Recommend it!
Sweethoney Dessert is a solid spot for getting something sweet and enjoyable. They're open fairly late, which is a bonus. We stopped by with friends spontaneously on a late Friday night, and it was busier than expected. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a table and were seated promptly. I liked how the menu has a wide variety of items with different options and toppings. Although, it may be tough to decide on something due to number of options. I usually go for a mango-based dessert, and thoroughly liked the mango pudding dessert that I ordered. Service was alright, a bit slow and inconsistent, as they might've been understaffed or it could've been due to the amount of customers. One of our desserts took much longer to arrive, and we initially thought they forgot about it before confirming with a member of the staff. Luckily, this location is within a shopping plaza in Colma, so parking is more available. Overall, Sweethoney Dessert is worth visiting if you're looking for a good, local dessert spot.
4/5! The sweet ginger soup with black sesame ball was a nice and cozy dessert. The soup is a tad bit sweet for my liking though, but the tang yuan has a soft texture! The mango pomelo sago was also very good! I would probably not get the vanilla ice cream next time to have a stronger mango flavor.

I got the one with mango, grass jelly, sago, and pomelo. It didn't taste that good... it was either the pomelo or mango that didn't taste right :/ also the place is really loud bc there are so many people talking inside, it's def not a place to relax and chill with friends. This is a cozy little place for Chinese HK style desserts (mango, grass jelly, pomelo, strawberries, topped by ice cream or a ton of other combos, eggettes and MUCH more ). Basic savories like fries, onion rings, curry fish balls are also on the menu. - good too. Extremely popular and always busy, but fast friendly service once seated. But it gets crowded here fast especially after 9pm on weekends! You get a tablet where you scroll through the humongous menu. My recent favorites include: Y10 - Yuzu Yogurt Parfait from their parfait series. It's the perfect healthy-ish treat for me here. I love the crunchy rice bits in it and the fresh chunks of grapefruit and strawberries with the yogurt and yuzu. V7 - Toddy Palm & Vanilla Frost - Excellent! I love the icy texture of the frozen ice cream in contrast to the soft Toddy Palm seeds. Again, the dessert menu is so huge here, you are bound to find something for almost every taste.. Pro tip: Shop or browse at the Ross clothing store next door while u wait! Lol! Verdict: Yup.. this is a regular stop for us!
A very cozy late night dessert spot that's open pretty late! My siblings and I love coming here for a sweet treat! Their desserts have never failed to make our day better!

I really enjoyed the order I got with grass jelly, mango, chewy taro balls, and snow/milk. Watermelon sago was nice and refreshing. I was close to giving Sweethoney 2-3 stars because over the years, I have seen how their portions shrunk and quality decreased (hard sago, mushy glutinous balls and icy mango desserts). From using actual bowls and utensils to shrunkened portions using smaller take out containers after the pandemic. I kept forgetting to post my review so here I am with the latest update. I typically doordash from Sweethoney, but I forget how small their containers have gotten and I regret wasting money instantly. Recently, I have seen a change in their togo containers and it is now the appropriate size for the pricing. I even dined in a couple times recently and not only did the quality improve, so did their portions. No more small take out containers anymore! I love their vanilla frost with mangoes and black glutinous rice and a scoop of matcha ice cream and their mango sago pomelo! Recently ordered their watermelon ice with tofu pudding and that was good as well.
I'm sitting here chuckling to myself; a picture I posted years ago reminded me that the only other time I came to Sweethoney, I ordered the same drink I had this most recent visit -- an iced Purple Yam Sago Milk. I'm nothing if not predictable. Slightly earthy & not sweet enough, which I usually like, but this needs a skosh more sugar. Perusing the massive menu of Asian desserts is a daunting chore to tackle. Aside from my drink, I had their Mango Pancake which comes two to an order & is not a pancake in the traditional sense. Wrapped in a thin crepe is way too much whipped cream & a too-small piece of mango. It looks like a yellow brick, & if you consume the entire thing, it'll feel like one in your stomach, too. Close-together tables. Two servers -- one lovely, one not. I'm in no rush to return.
First time here for some snacks and dessert. The Thai curry fish balls were yummy, had a good kick! I would get those again. The coconut milk sago came cold and was good. I asked at the end of my meal if can come hot and they said you can request it. Wish it was offered cold or hot when I first ordered but now I know for next time. The chocolate filled eggettes were crispy. The chocolate was a little overly sweet and bitter for my taste. But I'll definitely get the other eggettes next time. Overall, will come back to try more desserts hot now that I know you can request it. Especially since hot Chinese desserts are hard to find!
The customer service is good and the food there is very good. the workers are kind,patient, and kind talking. the atmosphere here is nice and I love the decorations. Even though this place is packed the floors were clean and everything was just neat and easy to walk past the tables without it being too packed.

Sweethoney has always been a comfortable classic to me and the default spot to grab a sweet treat while catching up with friends! I came recently with a friend and it felt like old times. The menu was on a tablet and it was helpful that each item included a picture so you can preview what you can order. Their mango pancake is one of my favorites but I decided to try their mango coco tofu pudding this time. I'm a huge mango lover so anything on their mango lovers series always hits the spot! It wasn't too sweet and the mango was refreshing. read more

Sweet honey has been around in Colma for quite some years and always a good staple here for a nice dessert hangout. They have unique drinks that are Chinese-themed (not boba) and many other traditional desserts + snacks. Seating is a little tight inside to expect a wait during rush. Good thing is tho, that they are open during public holidays! Have always had great service here as well. My only complaint would be the price being a bit high, but there's also a lack of similar options nearby. Always happen to come here a couple times a year though read more

Sweethoney is one of our go to dessert places! I love their Mango Coco Tofu Pudding (but only when mangoes are in season)! Their Twins Snow Mountain Grass Jelly is another great one! When I am craving for something hot, their Sesame Paste, Tofu Pudding, and Almond series never disappoint! Their menu is so extensive, I haven't had the chance to try everything that they offer. I always stick to same few desserts that I know because it is just that delicious! This time around, they changed their bowls and plates! The service never disappoints either! read more

Came back to try the Y1. Purple Duet Y1.紫色雙重奏 $8.71 and sadly this one was not as good. I ordered it cold but it was like room temperature. I think there's supposed to be some kind of taro in here but didn't taste very much. It's mostly purple rice clumps, coconut milk and tapioca. Meh read more
One of the few places I know of to get peach gum and snow fungus soup. What a sweet dessert treat that is also very healing and medicinal. I've tried some of the sagos and they were ok. I love their black sesame glutinous rice balls! They are warm and a great balance of sweet and savory. The place is well lit, spacious, and there is soft music playing so it's not overstimulating like some other dessert spots. Service is great - upon walking in was greeted with eye contact, and seated. The order came quickly too. read more

Had no idea I'd drive past 5 cemetaries to get here, but you know... it was really tasty! My personal favorite is the Mango Pomelo Sago Tofu Pudding, which has fresh mangoa, silken tofu, pomelo, and a generous portion of sago! The base is a thick creamy mango milk. Really good! The quality of ingredients impressed me. Some other fan favorites amongst my frinds were the Purple Yam Snow and Thai Curry Fish Balls. read more

Desserts are always yummy here! When ordering fruit, just make fruit is in season or else it's sour. Usually a waitlist at night, waited about 15 minute. Menu is on a tablet, a lot of variety from snacks to fruit desserts to traditional Chinese desserts. The store is modern, comfy seating. All the desserts are pretty good, not too sweet! Mango sago with matcha ice cream ($7.85), the mango was fresh but quite sour! The red bean grass jelly was good, a lot of grass jelly. Toddy palm had a lot of toppings too. They have many different varieties of desserts, beverages, snacks and much more! Every time I come here, my usual would be purple duet (HOT), Thai curry fish ball, Chicken wings. The service is always up to par and super fast. Today we ordered and the food and beverages came out three minutes after we ordered. They're finally using beautifully designed bowls, plates, utensils, and cups. (For the longest time, they were using plastic cups and bowls) which there's nothing wrong with that, but I was super excited and surprised when they came out with new bowls and things to serve our delicious snacks and desserts on. read more
Nice, clean, bright Chinese dessert and quick bites shop located in the Colma Metro Center near Home Depot. Plenty of parking in this location. We had the hot Ginger Steamed Milk, hot Black Sesame with Dumpling Balls, and cold Mango, Grass Jelly and Almond Ice desert. All were good. Staff is very helpful and nice. Stopped by and tried the **Mango Coco with Grass Jelly** and **Mango Coco with Glutinous Rice**--both were fantastic! Super refreshing, perfectly balanced sweetness, and the toppings added the best texture. The grass jelly is smooth and cooling, while the glutinous rice gives it a satisfying, chewy bite. Definitely my new go-to drinks for a sweet treat! read more

I believe they are only available between 11am and 4pm.
