    twister bowl
    Lisa W.

The employees are nice and the shop is always very clean. They're always fast with the drinks or açaí bowl. Also they do DoorDash for anyone that doesn't want to get out of bed to drive there like me haha. I always come here for the JJ Tropics smoothie or their OG Açaí Bowl. Those are my go to if I'm craving something sweet. Their acai bowl is the best in my opinion. The OMG is also very good. I tried a bunch of drinks here and only two of them is delicious to me to drink it within two minutes(joking but not really, because it's the good!). Their OG AÇAÍ BOWL tho is so freaking delicious. It comes with granola, freshly sliced strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. I also like to add a touch of honey drizzle on top or agave. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone that is craving something sweet but also kinda healthier.

I've only tried their original açaí bowl before through DoorDash but it was SO good. Top-tier. Added my own glob of peanut butter and it was perfection. They gave a ton of toppings. I will definitely come back to try more of their menu but the only downside is that it's pretty pricey.

I was melting in the heat wave and needed something cool and refreshing, so I decided to give Sidewalk Juice a try. I'm more of a smoothie person, but I tried the twister bowl at my mom's recommendation. All I can say is moms are usually right because the twister bowl was delicious and I've been converted. The half acai/half pitaya base was unique and delicious. The bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, and coconut shreds added a variety of flavors and textures to the bowl. Everything tasted and looked fresh. Because I went during a heat wave, the place was packed, but the line moved fairly quickly. There's no seating inside, but it's right next to the mall food court with plenty of seating. The employees are also friendly and helpful. They offered a bag before I had a chance to ask for one.

Kiddo was in a mood for açaí bowl and she's a huge Nutella fan. I know there's lots of Sidewalk Juice located all over. This one is conveniently at the mall but pretty steep for the price of $15, although it was a hefty bowl: Nuts About Acai 100% organic acai puree, strawberries, granola, bananas, and double Nutella.

Green energy juice was nice to get some greens flowing in the body! Chai banana smoothie was unique and surprisingly blended - complimenting flavors with each other. Healthy vibes here!

Sidewalk is great and they have some of the best acai bowls I have had. I have tried a few of them and they are consistently yummy and healthy. I wish they had more locations in the South Bay. They can run the table here, there are not of good acai bowl locations here.

Love Love Love Sidewalk Juice. I've been to the one in SF and I am pleased to find one here at Daly City. What I enjoy the most about Sidewalk Juice, is how pure and healthy their smoothies and food selections are. The real uniqueness is how thick and full the smoothies and açaí is. It's almost as if it's half frozen yogurt texture. i personally love their açaí selections. Today I am going to put the peanut/ almond butter açaí in the limelight. I love my açaí bowls and this one is perfect after a gym session. There is banana, granola, and i added honey as well. Very filling, I'll include pictures. Come try out Sidewalk if you want some quality smoothies/bowls.

The worker is making the bowl right in front of you so you have a lot more control over how the bowl turns out. You can ask for more or less of each base and topping according to your preference and you can also see the fruit quality to not pick certain fruits if they don't look good. I also appreciate that they have a lot of bases. My partner always just gets açaí so he can go anywhere but I much prefer the other bases like ube and mango that the majority of restaurants that serve açaí bowls don't offer. We were lucky to walk in when no one was in front of us so we were served immediately, unlike other places where you may have to wait for a backlog of orders in front of you. While we were ordering, about 10 people came in behind us. It would've taken quite a long time to wait in line behind them because there was only one person working and the bowls are completely custom, no bases pre-layered in the freezer. We walked across the street and enjoyed our bowls on the beach. Thanks for a great experience!

I want to be clear that this is not a reflection of the staff. They were polite and were simply following the rules set by management. My disappointment is with the policy itself. I'm currently pregnant, and because of my nausea, there are only a few specific drinks I can tolerate. This particular drink has been one of the few things that actually helps, so receiving the wrong order wasn't just a minor inconvenience. I simply wanted the drink I had ordered and paid for. After posting my review, I received a response saying that if I had mentioned my pregnancy and that I couldn't tolerate another drink, they would have replaced it. While I appreciate the response, I don't believe customers should have to explain personal circumstances to have an incorrect order corrected. Whether someone is pregnant, has dietary restrictions, allergies, or no special circumstances at all, if a business makes a mistake and prepares the wrong order, it should simply be replaced. I've been to many other drink shops, and even when a customer simply doesn't like a drink, they're often happy to remake it. In this case, the mistake wasn't mine, yet I was expected to pay again. That level of customer service was surprising and very disappointing. I hope management reconsiders this policy, because every customer deserves to receive the correct order without having to justify why it matters.
