Black Brown Sugar Milk Smoothie
Lily S.

This place has become a must stop for us whenever we're in the bay. I can't vouch for the drinks, but this ice cream is soooo good. It's so simple, but I can't stop thinking about it. Just a note that there is no seating here. It's a small pick up and go shop.

Banh Mi deals

Came across this place on Grand Avenue during my lunch break. Under new ownership and is now serving Vietnamese takeout! Saw a sign for buy 4 get 1 free banh mi so had to check it out! Ordered the combo banh mi and shrimp/pork spring rolls. The banh mi bread was a little hard as it may have been toasted too long? I think if there were more pickled veggies it would be better. I would give it a 7/10. The spring rolls came in a box with peanut sauce and chili sauce. The spring rolls were freshly made upon ordering. The spring rolls were pretty basic but the peanut sauce was the star. Very good mix of peanut butter and hoisin? I think if mint leaves were added it would give the spring rolls a little more texture and taste. 7/10. All in all I love that there's a Vietnamese takeout spot in this area that is not Ben Tre and Kevin's noodle house. Will be back to try their iced coffee and rice plates!

Love the Signature Boba Milk tea

Hight recommend !!! The pearls are perfectly chewy, fresh, and flavorful, unlike anything I've had elsewhere. You can really taste the difference

Oreo milk tea with cheese mousse and dark rose oolong milk tea with cheese mousse
Tina R.

I ordered the dark rose oolong milk tea and oreo milk tea both with the cheese mousse and crystal boba. I absolutely love the cheese mousse. They put a nice layer on top. The tea wasn't strong enough for me as a preference but you can taste the oolong in the first drink.

Cookies & cream milk cow

Yay Milk Cow!!! Milk Cow is a milky soft serve from Korea. I'm not sure where the milk is coming from (US or Korea?) but every time I've tried different locations and cities, I love it for how it has a strong milk flavor with creamy consistency. I loved the first bite with the same great milky dairy-forward taste, but this time, I could taste grains of fat in the ice cream. It got a bit gross after. Not sure if the milk was frozen at inconsistent temperature but I remember the creaminess being smooth previously. This is also a more togo place - not much seating inside or outside. Parking is also not easy.

Chicken Vietnamese sandwich with peach tea- our usual

Perfectly sweet and refreshing peach boba tea and yummy marinated chicken sandwich. We've been coming every week here since they re-opened.

I love this location! This shop always smells like fresh cut fruit and delicious. Service is good, I was able to get my drinks fast. My kids got the strawberry slushes and jelly. They used fresh strawberries. I got Vietnamese coffee with salty cheese mouse. I thought it'd be so strong but they make everything so balanced. My husband got the fresh fruit tea.I love their boba, it's still soft and chewy until the next day. Parking is always easy at this location on the weekend but not sure about weekday with all the office people. I forgot to mention about their banh mi, rice plates and bun. I only got to try the banh mi. It was very crunchy and flavorful. We will definitely be back for the rest of the menu.

Grass Jelly Red Bean Milk Tea

It's nice to see a boba place in a place that weirdly lacks sweets and dessert options. BeauTea is easy to miss and small, but has decent drinks and snacks that you'd expect from a boba place. Do watch out for their sweetness though, I got 75% sweet and it still felt comparable to many other places' 100% sweetness. It's also a bit odd to me that their counter ordering is cash only and have a tablet to order with card next to it. Milk options were also a bit unintuitive. Otherwise though - pretty decent spot!

Soft service wasn't anything super special. My daughter said it reminds her of the Costco one but smaller. Drinks were good. I like the panda milk tea that comes with the 2 toppings so it came out or less than $7. My son's drink was $8 with 2 toppings. One size drink only. Street parking can be tough and frustrating. Pay on the tablet with credit card or at the counter is cash only. Small place and no where to sit. But if we are eating in the area, I would stop by. The only thing is they close at 7 so if you aren't having an early dinner, it's not an option.

New expanded menu with tasty Vietnamese to-go. Great service from the staff and welcoming atmosphere.

Cute little shop in downtown South San Francisco. Sunday afternoon and despite it being tough to find a free parking spot, I didn't have to wait long for the boba. Got the lychee strawberry fruit tea with boba and it was delicious. The boba were cooked well but lacked that nice chewiness/bounciness in the texture. A bit on the pricey side as well.

Small calamari
Anthony B.

This review is just for the calamari. Tastes good but for $6 it's not worth it. Look at that portion size! I would get it again if they would just give more.

William S.

Went there again last night and while the ice cream was good it was the end of the night so the product quality suffered greatly. The ice cream was gritty and full of little grains which I later figured out was milkfat that separated from the cream. They melted against the roof of your mouth like tiny grains of butter. We still ate it all because it didn't detract from the flavor but be aware of this if you serve the last of the ice cream (another customer after us was told there was no more ice cream. I wish I could contact the owners but don't see any contact information on their website. I need to give some feedback which I don't feel is necessary to post publicly.

The drink took about 25-30 minutes to be prepared so don't come in a hurry!! I inserted the straw into the bottom of my cup and sucked. Nothing came out. I had to suck with more strength, due to the thick consistency of the drink. Finally, a gelatinous, slimy and sort of sweet substance came out of the tip of the straw. You do have to work for it due to the thickness of the drink, it's not liquidy. The actual matcha had a strong and smooth taste but to be honest was a little too concentrated which made it a bit astringent. This drink was truly a journey for the mouth. Usually a drink is about taste but this one was much more about tactility, or at least that's how it felt. Unfortunately the substance seemed to leave a strange metallic, unpleasant aftertaste that lasted for quite a while after finishing the drink. Texture: interesting taste:2.5 , it was new to me but i wouldn't have it again aftertaste : gross The next drink ordered was some sort of blue mango coconut concoction. Every menu item had a grandiose name so i'm not sure the exact one but it was a mango coconut slush. They white jelly substance was back and taking charge in the bottom of the drink. Along with the strange substance was a plethora of white tasteless balls. Not like traditional boba, but not bad. the flavor of the drink was good, a bit too coconuty for my liking but it was fine. The real problem was the radio of (balls + substance) : drink... way too high! i barley had any sips that had more drink then texture additives. The taste was good, but texture was off, and my stomach was not too happy after ingesting the whole thing in about 10 minutes.

I would recommend ordering online 30 minutes prior as there is always a line…read more The coconut mango boom is a very refreshing, but light drink to satisfy the sweet tooth Highly recommend

That was an unfortunate discovery. But this bustling area seemed to have a few tea shops at our disposal and seeing that TP Tea was the busiest, I thought to try them. Natural sunlight filled this spacious tea shop as the sun was setting! Though for some reason, they have a fly problem in the center where at least a half dozen flies were circulating. That was a bit of a turn off! But I continued to order through their kiosk anyhow as I was taking this drink to go. The menu is pretty big, so as a first timer, it took a few minutes to figure out what I wanted. I ended up ordering a TREASURE TARO MILK TEA (With taro and pudding). I believe the base for this drink was a Tie Guan Yin tea. It was strong, yet the sweet taro helped mellow the tea's bitterness. I had this drink at zero extra sugar, but I think it could have used just a little more sweetness (10%). I mixed the drink up so the taro would sweeten the tea more, which helped. Service was speedy and I got my drink quickly even with many other customers in the shop. All around, it was a 4/5 experience.

They have a kiosk in which you can order or you can do so at the counter. I got the mango matcha latte w/30% sweetness and lychee jelly. Area is kept well clean & tidy and also teeny tiny! I got the lychee peach tea that almost tasted tisane equivalent (in a good way haha), the right amount of sweetness to tea ratio for me. We were probably thirsty from our 2 1/2 hour drive from Monterey, grubbing on the rich and tasty food from Original Joe's, and walking around the bumping shopping center. Wifey is always in the mood for boba, coffee, or flavored tea. We turned to our trustworthy Yelp app and found Pit Stop Boba Shop. Pretty cool to find a boba shop inside a Arco gas station. Besides the uniqueness of its location, Pit Stop served arguably one of the most refreshing and tasty drinks we've had. I knocked it down to 4.5 stars because one of the gas pumps has a skimmer and I was alerted by my bank of a fraudulent charge. Buyer beware buying gas from this gas station. Pit Stop is on the corner of Gellert Blvd. and Westborough Blvd. It's across from another gas station that houses a Subway and Chase bank is across the way. If you're bewildered pulling into an Arco gas station to buy boba, you are not in the wrong location. Pit Stop shares the Arco convenience store where you would normally buy snacks, sodas, and candy, which you also could purchase. The convenience store and Pit Stop are independent businesses, so if you want a boba, you'll need to place your order at their register. Parking consists of what any gas station usually has, so we just parked at one of the gas pumps since we had to get gas. There aren't any tables to chillax and I'm sure most of their business is to go orders. The decor fits the gas station theme with its order counter looking like an industrial tool box, auto service ads plastered on the wall, and other knick knacks. The young lady behind the counter was friendly and got our drink order out pretty quickly. This would be a true statement for Pit Stop. I went to get gas, but came home with some boba. The menu consists of specialty drinks, instructions to make your own drink, and they also sell snacks. This was our first time visiting a boba shop hidden inside a gas station and you might be thinking there's no way quality drinks can come out of a gas station. I can assure you that you would be wrong. I highly recommend you order their #4 specialty drink, the TooTea FruiTea, because it was refreshing, sweet, and tasty. This drink comes with strawberry, peach, mango, organic green tea, and actual strawberry, mango, and pineapple bits. I really enjoyed the combination of the different fruit flavors and the chewy treats of the fruit pieces. My wife ordered their #2 specialty drink, the Lychee Peachberry, and just like me, she really enjoyed her drink. I would have never thought that a boba shop inside a gas station would serve memorable drinks. The Pit Stop Boba Shop is not only a memorable place, but it has drinks that makes it worthwhile for you to make a pit stop. Just make sure to check for any skimmers if you're buying gas at the Arco.
