Bring your Tito/Tita and Lolo/Lola because Ongpin's Weekend Brunch is back! AYCE on Saturdays and Sundays from 09:30am to 12:30pm. It's $18.99 per person (plus 15% service charge). I don't know any other AYCE that's under $20 so I felt like it was worth it. They had a lot of food. Everything on the menu (see posted) in Breakfast AND Brunch Favorites was available, except for the Arroz Caldo. They however have other items not listed so it was still a full fiesta! Come for nostalgia or have a taste of classic Filipino breakfast of longanisa, tocino, dried fish, champorado and more. Lolo and Lola are surely gonna enjoy!

This is for the buffet. The price is reasonable and there were a lot of choices. However some of the options doesn't have the great taste like before the pork in the Sinigang soup was a little odd? The sisig had a bitter taste to it. The tocino was good the Langonisa was regular. The adobo was really tender and tasty. liked the menudo. The picadillo was average. I remember that the food here was amazing and it was so good that we made it a point to visit and celebrate our special occasions here. The Jefroxs were really crispy. . The Kalamansi juice was watery. Ill come back when it is not really busy , and not a holiday, maybe the food will be better. The service was excellent they made sure everyone was well entertained and we were all notified when a seat table became available and was promptly sealed. The place reminded me of home. The place was a little bit crowded and it was hard to walk around.

Authentic Filipino food. Tall prices but huge servings. My place for silogs and all the flavors of sinigang!

My kids and grandkids came the day after Thanksgiving and it was hard to find Filipino restaurants that were opened on Black Friday for take out platters. Thank goodness Ongpin was open and they didn't charge an arm and a leg like a couple of other places in the area wanted to charge me. When I went to pick up the order, it was ready to go, fresh and hot, and they even helped me carry the trays out to my car. Everyone loved the food. I will definitely use Ongpin again for family get togethers! What we ordered: Pancit Bihon (delish), Lumpia, Bulalo(delish and large serving), Beef Caldereta (so tender) Pork Tocino(also delish and tender), Garlic Rice

Went to try their Filipino brunch buffet at 10 am today. It had an enormous variety of food which included all our favorite food to order from Ongpin- pork sinigang, sisig, pansit, pinakbet, adobo, longanisa, tocino, fried bangus, jeprox, champorado, fresh fruit, calamansi juice and coffee included, etc etc. A great value at $21.50 plus tax and tips. The friendly staff was constantly refilling the dishes and the owner was so nice and welcomed us like family. Being here felt like going to a Filipino party. Though the place was small and packed, everyone who ate left happy and satisfied. Come early or you will have to wait. Thank you Ongpin for creating this great Filipino foodie community! Felt like home!

I tried this place because of the Filipino breakfast and brunch buffet. I arrived there, and the folks were very friendly and seated us very quickly even though there was quite a line. The Filipino food was basic, although quite delicious. They served garlic, fried rice, white rice, tocino, longanisa, Monggo, and other assorted Filipino dishes. The chicken and pork adobo was good, but I've had better. They had Kalamansi juice and coffee also. The price was fair and the restaurant was fairly packed when we ate there. I will definitely be going back to enjoy more of this Filipino buffet.

Solid Filipino food, lots of options. They have some dish variations here that I've never seen before so we ordered the Seafood Kare-Kare and Bistek Bangus Belly - super excited about this since I'm pescatarian. Everything was tasty. Friendly service. Would come again!

Come here somewhat regularly & am a fan of the tocino. Food is overall pretty solid, some things better than others. Portion is a good size & service has been good the last few times i've been.

The staff was friendly and attentive. It was a quiet evening to pick up some takeout. The ambiance is casual and quiet. The food was served fresh and to eat. I would recommend for takeout Filipino food.

Bottom right (two items - half tray lumpia & half tray palabok)
    Dessa R.

Ordered party platters about 3 days prior to Christmas, for pick up Christmas morning; they were open right on time; super friendly staff and they offered me coffee while I waited for my lumpia to be completed. Ordered half trays of lumpia and palabok....lumpia very good. Palabok o the other hand may be the worst I've had...the noodles were the thin noodles and there extremely little sauce. Just skip the palabok from here folks! Lumpia is a definite. I want to try their weekend breakfast buffet sometime!

I found this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did! They have their own parking, which is already a plus. As soon as we walked in, I loved the ambiance and the interior--it felt warm and inviting. When I looked at the menu, everything sounded so delicious that it was hard to choose. For appetizers, we ordered the chicharon bulaklak and squid balls--both were amazing, especially when dipped in vinegar. For our main dishes, we had nilagang baka, and the broth and meat were incredibly flavorful and comforting. The garlic fried rice was perfect, and the chicken inasal was absolutely delicious--marinated so well and cooked just right. We also ordered halang-halang na manok and ginatang crispy pata to go, and I can't wait to enjoy them at home. To top it all off, the server gave us free leche flan, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I will definitely come back!

Everything paired perfectly with their garlic fried rice, which was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The sizzling chicken sisig was packed with flavor, and the portions were definitely enough to share or take leftovers home. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. I actually don't eat pork, but even I knew those were bold words. We had dinner reservations for a table of 10 at Patio at 7pm on a Friday. The place was busy, and most guests came with big parties of 8+ people. Half of our group arrived on time, and the restaurant went ahead and got them seated at our reserved table. We ordered several things off the menu including the appetizer sampler (fried calamari, fried shrimp, wings, and lumpia Shanghai), garlic rice, pandit bihon, bangus sisig, chicken adobo, pork sisig, bangus sisig, and crispy pata. I ate the fried calamari and shrimp, bangus sisisg, garlic rice, and a piece of chicken adobo. I also ordered a side of fried egg to make my dish a silog. Loved the fried rice and bangus sisig. I apreciated that the fried egg was perfectly overeasy with a runny yolk. More often than not I get the yolk cooked nearly all the way through. The other dishes were satisfying as well. I can't vouch for the pork sisig, but it was unanimously agreed by the other guests in our party that Patio's is the best. We shared desserts among each other including the fried flan and frozen mango. The fried flan was fun to try once. The frozen mango dish was so unique. It had a chopped mango topping and mango ice cream over a meringue base, which we realized had the texture of the cake part of brasso de mercedes. Lastly, I thought the service was fine. I waited a few years and ordered food last week hoping the taste and quality magically went back to what they served in their early years, but sadly it's still terrible. Their Kare Kare is so watered down you can't even taste any peanut butter. The dinuguan is 1% meat, 49% inedible parts (see photos), and 50% sauce. Huge ripoff! This is the last straw for me and I won't be returning ever again. The prices are insanely expensive for the tiny portions. There are much better Filipino restaurants in the surrounding areas. We had heard such great things about Hula Hoops and were excited to come for Mother's Day brunch. When we arrived Sunday morning, we were seated right away, which was great. However, our party of six was seated with only three food menus and five drink menus. I asked our waitress if we could get additional menus for the rest of the table, and she explained they had run out and were waiting for other guests to finish with theirs. We ended up asking if there was a QR code version we could scan, and she brought one over. I was mostly confused why the QR code wasn't offered immediately, knowing half the table didn't have menus to begin with. It just made the start of the experience feel a little disorganized. That said, there were definitely some positives. The sparkling cider for Mother's Day brunch was a really nice touch, and the Shanghai lumpia was fantastic. I ordered the two-protein silog breakfast with eggs, and while the flavors were good, the single scoop of rice just didn't feel proportionate to the rest of the plate. Any Filipino knows you need a little more rice to balance everything out, so I ended up not finishing my meal because it felt off portion-wise. My son ordered the cheese omelet and said it wasn't his favorite, especially the potatoes. The ube waffles were really yummy though, and my husband enjoyed the sisig tater tots. Overall, I'm glad we finally got to try Hula Hoops after hearing so many good things, but unfortunately it didn't quite live up to the hype for us, and I don't think we'd return.
