We were walking around in the shopping plaza and decided to check it out wanting a sweet treat. It seemed like a lot of the customers were regulars bringing out their stamp cards and they had some interesting drink options on the posters like the Mangga Con Yelo. I liked that it was a build your own kind of menu with so many options to choose from and the drinks came out very soon after we ordered. Mango Green Milk Tea w/ Lychee and Boba - It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me with a balanced level of mango flavor and they filled it with so much toppings. The boba was soft and chewy as well. I originally got the 16oz size but they were having a free upgrade on Monday & Tuesdays, which they were very kind about letting us know. My sister got the Mangga Con Yelo which she enjoyed with shaved ice with rich mango flavors. We would go back to try more of their unique drinks!

90 Eureka Square, Ste E Pacifica, CA 94044 (nextdoor to City Arms) Tea World is a "hole in the wall" place located in Pacifica's Eureka Square shopping center. The storefront looks big, but the counter is surprisingly small. It sort of looks like they set it up for the "Covid pandemic days" and never changed it back to normal. There's no indoor or outdoor seating. There's a bench and seats for waiting, but the tiny lobby gets crowded fast when a line forms. After having lunch with family, I decided to cruise around Pacifica a bit. Using the Yelp app, I noticed Tea World offered coffee/tea and ice cream. Okay, I didn't get much sleep, so maybe coffee and ice cream would be a good combo to try. After waiting in line, the nice young lady took my order. I ordered: - Vanilla Latte, 16oz, Cold, $5.25 - 2 Scoops in a Cup, Chocolate and Coffee Ice Cream, $7.75 (Total: $13.00, no tax) How was it? It was just okay..... The Vanilla Latte tasted like it came from a carton and was pre-mixed. It had no caffeine kick to it. It's okay as a cold beverage. The chocolate ice cream was excellent. It was rich, creamy, and soothing. The coffee ice cream was grainy and gritty. It tasted okay, but had a weird texture like it had sand in it. So overall. a fair experience at Tea World. Free parking.

Tried Tea World's ice cream once again and still the same $6.25 for a single scoop is highway robbery. On top of that, the customer service was rude and unwelcoming. Definitely not worth the money. Not recommended.

    Malted Thai Tea 16oz

As we entered the shop, I thought it was neutral and very simple with little decor plastered on the walls. I wanted some tea after my meal in a neighboring restaurant and really didn't expect much since I had never heard of Tea World before. The young lady was friendly as she told us to ring the bell whenever we were ready. Decided on malted Thai milk tea after asking her how malt changed the drink's taste. She said it added a roasted flavor. Sure, why not?? Especially since this is the first time I've ever seen malt as an option. MALTED THAI TEA: At 50% sweetness, this was just right for me. The Thai tea flavor ends up being a little muted but the malt clearly does its part. If you like the inside of Whopper candies, it tastes just like that with a hint of Thai tea flavor. I expect that the chocolate milk tea with added malt would taste exactly like a whopper. I actually really enjoyed the drink and would go back to try the malted milk tea shake next time I'm in town. Note: It's 50¢ extra to add malt to a drink. They also sell Mitchell's icecream as well. I would usually comment on the tea quality at boba shops, but I didn't try any of the brewed black/green/oolong teas this time. Don't sleep on the malted drinks though!

This is like an airport kiosk boba shop. Small hole in the wall boba shop. Lackluster and hard boba. Very chewy and I don't think it was cooked through. They don't have cream on top of their tea drinks to add. So, you're basically limited to milk and tea, or just tea. They have Mitchell's ice cream here, too. Not my type of tea shop, but if you're stuck in Pacifica then I guess it's this or nothing.

The service was quick but the associates weren't very engaged with helping with the menu. The tiger milk tea was delicious but the taro milk tea was pretty bland. The taro ice cream was delicious. The boba was fresh.

After spending the day catching nothing but water and seaweed at the nearby Pacifica Pier with some friends, I decided to at least end the day on a sweet note with some boba. Using my trusty Yelp app, I found that Tea World was pretty close by, so decided to give them a try. Located in a small, outdoor strip mall, this location is a bit unassuming and easy to miss. The interior was clean, and the only employee inside I saw was wearing a mask. They offer several different cup sizes to choose from, and prices were all VERY reasonable. In fact, for the majority of topping types, the 1st topping was included in the drink price at no additional charge! Not feeling like experimenting, I opted to go with my usual go-to flavor of passion fruit oolong tea, with honey boba. For only 1 girl behind the counter manning both the register, and making drinks, the turnaround time was pretty decent. Stood around for maybe 10mins, before she had already completed all the orders in front of me, and had my drink ready as well. While there are certainly boba joints out there that exceed Tea World's quality of either boba, or premium tea, the drink itself was fairly good in both respects, and certainly had a generous portion of boba topping included. I never knew of a good boba stop in Pacifica until now. But will definitely be stopping by more consistently whenever I'm in the area!

They sell Mitchell's ice cream here! Ube flavor is great with some ube pieces as well. Color looks not artificial and great creamy and flavor. 1 Scoop is $5.50 so I recommend getting 2 scoops for just a bit more or get a pint would be the best bang for your buck.

Wanted to try this place after an afternoon walk. Got the tiger milk tea with boba and Oreo malted milk tea shake Tiger milk tea - it was fine but the tea was lacking something. Sweetness was perfect. The boba was chewy and flavorful/sweet. Malted milk tea shake - this really intrigued me so I wanted to give it a try. The malt flavor was very light. I couldn't really taste the tea but the husband said he could tell there was tea in it. Overall, it was more of an Oreo milk shake with a hint of malt. Not bad, but not sure it was worth 4.75! They serve Mitchell's ice cream here. The store itself is pretty small, you walk in and there's enough for 1-2 parties to be inside. I appreciated all the mask/social distancing signs. Parking lot has plenty of spots

Service was excellent! Boba place to go and must try their Halohalo. Well recommended.

Tiger Milk Tea with Honey Boba 28oz

Another day another boba shop. Tea World is a small, but solid boba shop in Pacifica with plenty of parking also. I went here after getting food nearby and I got a 28oz Tiger Milk Tea. It wasn't too expensive as it was over $6 total. Their Tiger Milk Tea lacked much tea flavor and I was mostly tasting sugar in my drink, but overall it was still good. Some of the boba were sticking together and some were not as chewy as others. Their drinks just aren't anything noteworthy in my opinion. It might sound highly offensive to compare a boba shop to Quickly, but their Tiger Milk Tea definitely tasted like something I would get from there which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Also when I went there they didn't use sealed lids like I saw in other review's photos. I'm typically not a fan of boba shops that don't use sealed lids, but it's okay as long as the lid was closed well to avoid spilling. Unfortunately it was not so my hoodie enjoyed some of my boba also. The customer service is pretty good and everyone working there is very friendly. Personally, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if you live in Pacifica and are near the area then this isn't a bad option for boba at all. It was also pretty busy when I went too which was around 3 on a weekday where students just got off school nearby.

24 oz (L), 28 oz (R) Actual- both cups are about the same size

It's easy to say I'm in the Bay when you don't live in San Francisco. The Airports can be confusing for a visitor looking to travel from and to SFO Airport in San Francisco on the same place where you can enter the Golden Gate Bridge or Bay Bridge. Then there is the Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport which causes more mass confusion especially for those catching BART from and to the Coliseum in Oakland. There is one BART stop along the way which you can go to SFO and Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport it's the San Bruno BART station. This is a good place for a pit stop along the way . When traveling by car there is plenty of parking and the shopping mall . Inside you will find a place with sweet and sour ice treats. It's located inside Tanforan Mall and it's called San FRoYo On my last stroll to Barnes and Nobles bookstore at Tanforan which is closing this Saturday on May 2 for good, I went to San FRoYo because the Starbucks and Cheesecake Factory mash up inside Barnes and Nobles is shut down forever. Inside San FroYo you can choose to get sweet and sour lemonade , smoothies and self serve frozen yogurt in a cup. I got fancy vanilla froyo topped with purple taro. The fancy vanilla was not too sweet but the top of purple taro was a bit sour. All that was missing was the cherry on top ( they ran out of cherries). Since I just watched the Michael Jackson movie I selected from the Smooth Criminal Smoothie Menu and got the Mango and Peach Paradise. It was refreshing and tasty with a bit tarty. This place is good to hide from the rain or sun and enjoy something refreshing. Remember San FroYo is located in San Bruno ( not the Avenue in SF) and not in SF. Visit Tanforan mall before it closes and come by car, motorcycle, bus, BART, feet , and"scooters" you can even catch Lyfts and "Ubers" I miss those days when the mall was thriving and busy seeing people hanging in groups and even spot some "Army recruiters" and I miss the days when they use to have a "Hooters" Barnes and Nobles by next week will be gone in Tanforan and this happened to a Creamery called "Cold Stone" so I went to to get FroYo at San FRoYo its only serve in a cup and not a "cone" Tanforan in the future will turn into a Biotech office , retail, and housing also known as a "Flex Zone" but you will see airplanes in the sky from SFO like the one recently which dodged a "drone"

I was in town, and I was a little curious why this place has a low Yelp score. When I walked in, the air in the place seemed stale. There was short line, so I had time to look over the flavors. I asked for: A medium with coffee & coconut ice cream, with shredded coconut. This older man who was helping me didn't smile and lacked energy. He just went thru the motions of blending everything on the stone. He was very knowledgeable as I asked him questions about the business. Price $6.99, takeout, no tax. There's no tables inside, so everything is takeout. How was the ice cream? My ice cream was served to me soft and melting. It wasn't a hot day. When I was at the Cold Stone Creamery in Hayward ( A Street), the ice cream was served to me hard as a rock. The ice cream from the Linda Mar location tasted great. But the shredded coconut he mixed in was old and hard to eat. It was like pieces of string were in the ice cream. Okay, I guess I won't be coming back to this location. Free parking.

I placed my photo cake order on Thursday for Saturday pickup, which meets the 24 hour advance requirement. The issue was communication. The Cold Stone website does not list an email where photos can be sent, unlike other locations such as Tanforan. On Friday noon I began calling the store to get an email address to submit the image. I called multiple times throughout the afternoon but no one answered. They finally picked up in the evening, at which point I immediately sent the photo and followed up asking if the dimensions were acceptable. I never received a confirmation. When I picked up the cake on Saturday, the photo was printed very small instead of full cake size, which completely defeated the purpose of ordering a photo cake. When we called to address the issue, the manager was rude and dismissive, told us there was nothing he could do, and refused any refund or resolution. He also claimed the issue was that I should have ordered 24 hours in advance, which I did on Thursday, and I attempted to communicate as soon as they opened Friday but no one was answering the phone. Mistakes happen, but the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service was unacceptable, especially for a special occasion. I would not recommend ordering custom cakes from this location.
