Coffee milkshake with almonds and brownie pieces was it really good treat after a good hike in Pacifica. The problem was a service here was horrible. When I saw the girl scoop just a few almonds into the milkshake blender I asked for a little bit more and she charged me for two extra scoops. Yet, when I watched a couple of teenagers that she knew come in later on and ask for extra Cookie Dough Bites I look to see if she charge them extra and she didn't. If you're going to charge people for extra items make it consistent and don't play favorites.

Chocolate Truffle w/Carmel & brownie mixed in!

I love this location - it's convenient, great service and plenty of selection. The ingredients always seem fresh and I love all the mix-in options! My only suggestion would be to have more dairy free options other than sorbet/sherbet. They have remained open during this time of "Shelter in place" which is awesome, and I was happy that they take Apple Pay so I didn't have to touch anything!

The food was amazing. The owner is super friendly and resourceful, way better menu than the Daly City location.

Tea world is the best Boba in Pacifica. No question about it. They've been in business for over a…read moredecade and the quality has remained roughly the same. The quality will vary a bit depending on who the boba-rista is as well as time of day because the boba may be sitting if you come at the end of the day, but essentially it's the same product. I have completed a stamp card here, which is kind of an expensive journey, about $7 to $10 per drink. I have had no issues with the service here. The ambiance is very much take out, there is a small bench to sit on and two chairs next to a trash can. In my opinion this business is best enjoyed along with a walk!

Wonderful staff as always. Today I came in because I was having a rough day from work, so I decided…read moreto treat myself to some boba. Not sure what the guy name was but he was wearing an orange shirt that says Arizona with a star on it (top right corner) of his shirt, he was young Caucasian male, he over heard my conversation with my mother about how I was stressed out about my day. And he asked me if I was stressed out about my father adding ice cream to his Thai ice tea. I thought that was funny, he turned my really bad day into a wonderful day. I felt way better. Simple kindness acts like that is what matters. He's great. He deserves a raise. He's always working when I come. He's absolutely awesome. Drinks always turn out to be fresh and very delicious. Establishment is always super clean and well put together. Staff members are always kind. Very helpful. Quick and efficient. Thank you Tea world staff for being the absolute best!

The term Bay Area has been a confusing term for outsiders. The Bay sounds like it's close to San…read moreFrancisco but it could be miles away. It's easy to say I'm in the Bay when you don't live in San Francisco. The Airports can be confusing for a visitor looking to travel from and to SFO Airport in San Francisco on the same place where you can enter the Golden Gate Bridge or Bay Bridge. Then there is the Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport which causes more mass confusion especially for those catching BART from and to the Coliseum in Oakland. There is one BART stop along the way which you can go to SFO and Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport it's the San Bruno BART station. This is a good place for a pit stop along the way . When traveling by car there is plenty of parking and the shopping mall . Inside you will find a place with sweet and sour ice treats. It's located inside Tanforan Mall and it's called San FRoYo On my last stroll to Barnes and Nobles bookstore at Tanforan which is closing this Saturday on May 2 for good, I went to San FRoYo because the Starbucks and Cheesecake Factory mash up inside Barnes and Nobles is shut down forever. Inside San FroYo you can choose to get sweet and sour lemonade , smoothies and self serve frozen yogurt in a cup. I got fancy vanilla froyo topped with purple taro. The fancy vanilla was not too sweet but the top of purple taro was a bit sour. All that was missing was the cherry on top ( they ran out of cherries). Since I just watched the Michael Jackson movie I selected from the Smooth Criminal Smoothie Menu and got the Mango and Peach Paradise. It was refreshing and tasty with a bit tarty. This place is good to hide from the rain or sun and enjoy something refreshing. Remember San FroYo is located in San Bruno ( not the Avenue in SF) and not in SF. Visit Tanforan mall before it closes and come by car, motorcycle, bus, BART, feet , and"scooters" you can even catch Lyfts and "Ubers" I miss those days when the mall was thriving and busy seeing people hanging in groups and even spot some "Army recruiters" and I miss the days when they use to have a "Hooters" Barnes and Nobles by next week will be gone in Tanforan and this happened to a Creamery called "Cold Stone" so I went to to get FroYo at San FRoYo its only serve in a cup and not a "cone" Tanforan in the future will turn into a Biotech office , retail, and housing also known as a "Flex Zone" but you will see airplanes in the sky from SFO like the one recently which dodged a "drone"

If you're unsure of which flavor to get, there is no limit to how many flavors you can try. My personal favorite is the Strawberry Coconut Water Sherbet. Light and creamy, lots of strawberry and coconut flavor, and It's dairy free. The customer service is always great and friendly. Their attention to detail for allergies is top tier. In store they also use a new scoop, wash their hands and even get a fresh scoop from a new pint to avoid cross contamination. It does get busy at times, but it's worth the wait. Trying new flavors is an experience in itself. If you don't feel like waiting in line, you can always go in and just get a pint from the available flavors in the freezer by the door. Nonetheless, it's always a good time at Salt & Straw.

The texture is incredibly creamy, which balances out the bold, unique flavors perfectly. I tried the Pot of Gold and the Freckled Mint. Both were delicious and well-crafted. I've visited both the Burlingame and Hayes Valley locations--be prepared that there isn't really seating at either, but the Burlingame spot has a very hip, high-energy atmosphere. The Highlights: * Staff: Incredibly patient and friendly (crucial when you're trying to decide between wild flavors!). * Dietary Friendly: Great vegan options that don't sacrifice creaminess. * Value: Very decent pricing for the quality and creativity you get. If you want ice cream that's "different" and daring, this is your place.
