Iced coffee with Original and Maple Glazed Doughnuts
    Richard H.

On a whim I decided to come here using the coupon that came with the weekly advertisements for $5 for a medium hot or cold coffee and 3 doughnuts. I ended up with more since the maple glazed were more firm to my liking in which I informed the manager. She stated they were made earlier that morning which explained why they tasted more dense and without asking, she gave me 3 additional doughnuts. I was truly surprised and thanked her. On a separate note, this location used to be one of our customers regarding assessing their food safety and quality assurance and this location always met our standards for protecting the KK Brand.

If you were thinking about going to Krispy Kreme.... Don't. They closed due to insect/rodent infestation

Always fresh donuts, got a dozen glazed via the Mobile Happy Hour promotion. Plaza has a Krispy Kreme & IN-N-OUT , and it's almost always busy but parking can be found. Clean spacious store with seating, the line can drag a bit so patience is a plus. Also has a drive thru that I have used with no issues. Easy access via 280 South.

Quick to go order of some classic glazed donut while also picking up something else nearby. Haven't had Krispy Kreme in a looong time, and honestly, I don't really ever crave donuts. But here I am... every once in a while never hurts. Assuming most people reading this have been to Krispy Kreme, this pick up met expectations of what you'd typically expect. Solid glazed donut, classic flavor, the OG. Sweet but actually not overly sweet. Texture was also good. Not overly dense and had a solid donut-y chew. Krispy Kreme continues to deliver what the do best.

Order: Maple iced glazed: on the sweeter side and heavier than the original. Didn't taste much of the maple flavor Original glazed: light and fluffy. classic and cheapest donut they offer. Staff got our donuts and helped us navigate the app to redeem a coupon. However, the conveyer belt was down on a Sunday and the employee said it could blow up! Donuts were not fresh nor did they have the glossy glaze appearance. Lots of tables for dine in with paper hats on each for people.

Clean, quiet, and transparent operation (you can see them make the donuts as you wait in line). I haven't had the original glazed donuts in so long and am happy to see that they have a 16-count mini version to bring home for the holidays. Def hit the spot after trying one. I'll come back if I make my way to daly city again.

The doughnuts are light and Crispy. It is a fresh approach to Donut making. It is fun to pick out the different types and toppings. The service is good .

Ordered 2 boxes, one was the regular krispy kreme donuts and the other dozen was the flavored special ones.. When I got my order the special ones was completely wrong.. The only correct there was the Oreo Donuts, the rest was wrong.. Didnt order

    24 for $8.49 10/3/2025

After getting lunch from next door, now it's time for something sweet. Got myself a little box of doughnut dots. Just needed a little bitesize of sweetness. A box of 24 cost $8.49. TBH, the doughnut dots looked nothing like the photo outside. They looked like chopped up doughnut pieces instead of doughnut holes. Also, there seems to be less variety of doughnuts here unlike before and it was fairly quiet. I guess Krispy Kreme's are sold everywhere in supermarkets as well which maybe why it's so quiet. Still, nothing better than fresh doughnuts.

Why did the donut go to the dentist? To get a filling LOL Service is not speedy here, recommend going through the drive-through. Somehow they are more attentive with those who drive-thru. When going inside, don't be too indecisive, holds up the line. I usually get a dozen glazed or two, quick in and out. The donut holes have an odd size order to them., must be a Krispy Kreme thing. 'Til next time ~ cheers and see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

I drove all the way to Daly City from San Francisco but they ran out of the Harry Potter donuts. I was only able to buy the Ravenclaw one. My friend really wanted to buy the Slytherin or Sorting Hat donuts, but they ran out so she bought some other flavors instead. I wanted to buy the Gryffindor donut too since I'm a Ravenclaw but have some Gryffindor traits too. Also the Gryffindor donut description seems like it'll be delicious.

Came here to try the cookie dough donut and was relieved to find it still in stock even at night. The filling was rich and indulgent, and I could tell it was made fresh. Definitely had to put in extra time at the gym to justify it, but totally worth it! The operation inside is well-run--everything looked spotless, and the staff was welcoming and efficient. They kept the line moving while still being attentive to each customer. I got extra lucky and was offered a sample of a freshly made glazed donut straight off the line. That first bite--hot, sweet, and perfectly fluffy--was everything I love about Krispy Kreme. It's that signature melt-in-your-mouth texture that keeps me coming back, whether on the East Coast or here in the West. They've nailed consistency, and I've never been disappointed. One thing I do wish they'd improve is their coffee. Their donuts set the bar high, but the coffee just doesn't match up--it could use a better-quality bean to complement the experience. But when it comes to donuts, they always deliver.

Stale cut up donuts to pass as their advertised "donut dots". DO NOT GET IT!
    Anita C.

I pre-ordered to pick up but they haven't packed it yet when I arrived 15min after my original pickup time (the store was empty, not busy whatsoever). Besides my glaze dozen I'd ordered their 24ct doughnut dots & it was a box of STALE cut-up donuts, WTH? I hope the owner & management sees this, bc this is false advertisement! Too bad I didn't open the box and see this right away, otherwise, I would have complained on the spot and ask for a refund. I can't believe, they would serve old cut-up donuts, GROSS!

Drove after work to get my kid some donuts I promised. They were closed at 10:30 standing outside smoking. Do you normally close early?

I found the same issue, same location about the same time of evening. Wow a quick review about it, normally don't give 1-star, but not show what their issue is. Poor customer service indeed.

How to speak to the manager regarding rude customer service?

You may wanna go to that Krispy Kreme store that you went to or call Krispy Kreme to speak to the manager!!!

Is the drive-thru open 24 hrs during Covid-19?

8/3/21- it was closed by 11 pm :(. Drove from dogpatch for some midnight donuts but went home with in-n-out instead

    Is the drive-thru 24/7?

    Yes

Their ordering system is entirely via two kiosks, which can be annoying if the customers ahead are slow, ordering a bunch of drinks, or both. They really should have a policy for cashiers handling smaller orders (2-3 drinks or less) and forcing kiosks only for larger groups. The estimated wait times vary pretty wildly, so take their posted estimates with a grain of salt. It stated 15-20 minutes when I was there, but it took about 25 (and we were just the 2nd group in line, though there were clearly tons of queued orders already with people standing around or sitting waiting). When we finally got our drinks, the Classic Ding Dong Oolong Milk Tea and the Milk Tea with Taro Balls and Taro Paste, I was expecting really prominent tea flavor like you get from the best milk teas in Taiwan and HK, especially given their hand-brewing process for each cup (which partly explains why wait times balloon). Sadly, I got very little tea flavor from either drink. That said, the fresh taro paste and taro balls were very tasty, with the balls having fantastic QQ chewiness. Prices are a bit much though, at almost $10 for that drink alone. I honestly think they could cut costs on gimmicks like the rope carriers (cute for influencers, but pretty useless and likely jacks up the price for regular customers). One silver lining from the long wait is that we spilled over into a free tea tasting slot. Miranda was fantastic as our guide as she was super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. She walked us through how their Lishan Oolong Tea (sold separately, not used for in-store drinks) is harvested and sun-baked into 5 different varietals, each with unique colors, aromas, and tastes (and following the sun both literally and figuratively in terms of names and descriptors). Overall, it's a fun experience if you enjoy that sort of thing (and your wait happens aligns with a tasting slot or you can always a reserve ahead of time as well), so 5 stars for Miranda and the tasting, but the actual milk teas were lacking and a disappointment given the hype, cost and wait.

The drink took about 25-30 minutes to be prepared so don't come in a hurry!! I inserted the straw into the bottom of my cup and sucked. Nothing came out. I had to suck with more strength, due to the thick consistency of the drink. Finally, a gelatinous, slimy and sort of sweet substance came out of the tip of the straw. You do have to work for it due to the thickness of the drink, it's not liquidy. The actual matcha had a strong and smooth taste but to be honest was a little too concentrated which made it a bit astringent. This drink was truly a journey for the mouth. Usually a drink is about taste but this one was much more about tactility, or at least that's how it felt. Unfortunately the substance seemed to leave a strange metallic, unpleasant aftertaste that lasted for quite a while after finishing the drink. Texture: interesting taste:2.5 , it was new to me but i wouldn't have it again aftertaste : gross The next drink ordered was some sort of blue mango coconut concoction. Every menu item had a grandiose name so i'm not sure the exact one but it was a mango coconut slush. They white jelly substance was back and taking charge in the bottom of the drink. Along with the strange substance was a plethora of white tasteless balls. Not like traditional boba, but not bad. the flavor of the drink was good, a bit too coconuty for my liking but it was fine. The real problem was the radio of (balls + substance) : drink... way too high! i barley had any sips that had more drink then texture additives. The taste was good, but texture was off, and my stomach was not too happy after ingesting the whole thing in about 10 minutes.

You order and pay at the counter and they'll bring you your dish if you want to dine in. There is metered street parking at the front, but you can find residential parking on the side streets. The ambiance of the cafe was simple, warming and welcoming; a quiet and relaxing vibe. Service overall was great and dish came out decently fast. They cleaned up pretty quickly as well when a table was finished. I wanted something a bit light so I opted for: 1) American Omelette(6.5/10)(~$12) - A decent and light breakfast plate. The omelette was a thin egg omelette a bit of a departure from your usual diner fare. The ham wasn't diced either, it was just 1-2 deli sliced ham placed in between with your choice of cheese(provolone, cheddar or swiss). For sides, you can either get a salad or potatoes. I went with the potatoes and they were grilled really well and seasoned just right. It also came with a sliced wheat bread. It was an okay dish, but if you want something more filling, I would try something else. 2) Drip Coffee(Small)(7/10)($2.75) - Just your usual house coffee. Overall, taste was good without it being overly bitter. A adequate cup of coffee that will wake you up in the morning. Price was very reasonable as well. 3) Pupusas(5.5/10)($4.50) - I ordered a pupusa to go as I wanted to give it a try for lunch. It was an okay pupusa; I ordered the chorizo one....but couldn't really find it in the pupusa when I got home. Just refried beans. It was freshly made though since it took awhile to get it. The pupusas aren't on the menu in the cafe, but it is written on the board outside. It came with a bag of mild salsa and a bag veggies on the side. Overall, I've had better pupusas on the Mission and would skip this. A decent neighborhood spot to grab a quick bite if in the area!
