This location has been around since my childhood days and I'm glad to see that it hasn't changed much. You get an assortment of flavors to choose from, both classic and novelty flavors. I brought my preschoolers here as an afternoon treat and they were also promoting their fairty tale creations, which is a single scoop of an ice cream of your choice, topped with sprinkles, and comes with a cookie that matches the theme of your creation. We chose the elf one and it also came with a paper elf crown which my daughter refused to take off for the rest of the day. They were out of strawberry flavor when we came by so we settled on getting cookies n cream which was a hit with the kids. There are only a couple of tables inside and they could be more consistent about wiping those down after each customer use. I was there on a Saturday, around 12:30, after attending a restaurant grand opening a few doors down. As I entered, the young lady greeted me as she served another group. I ordered 3 scoops in a cup- Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Fudge, and jamoca. Now, I have been to several other BR locations in the past year. The high prices vary slightly, but what's different is the scoop size. Maybe it depends on who is doing the scooping, but I received fairly good sized scoops. I compare this to the "golf ball size" scoops I received at the Millbrae BR location (Broadway Ave). There's some tables for enjoying your ice cream there. Free parking in the shopping center lot. Located in San Bruno's Bayhill Shopping Center, this Baskin Robbins is my family's go-to spot for ice cream since it's just a few minutes drive from our house.  BR is probably my current favourite ice cream parlour chain, just not necessarily this specific location. While you can count on ample parking in the lot and the assurance of authentic Baskin Robbins ice creams, inventory of flavours isn't guaranteed...nor is good service.  They tend to run out of Jamoca quite a bit and/or don't carry new/seasonal flavours like Ube Coconut Swirl.  Quality of service is just as unpredictable; sometimes the staff is as cold as their freezers and then within a snap of a finger, they appear to catch themselves and warm up.  In short, team members behave like they have chips on their shoulders or don't enjoy dealing with customers, thus friendliness doesn't feel genuine. Heads-up: scoop sizes are also undeniably smaller than expected - my husband and I found that they consistently serve kids scoops for Banana Royale Sundaes.  Very disappointing.   Sometimes tables are clean, sometimes they are not. In all honesty, I would prefer to give my business to a different Baskin Robbins (Millbrae is more welcoming and offers better flavour options), but since this locale is the closest to our residence, we come here with low expectations...   Customer experience can be under par and jipping on scoops is common practice...but you can always depend on the true Baskin Robbins taste to turn your frown upside-down, especially if you are in and out in a jiffy.UsefulFunnyCool read more

I always forget there's a Baskin Robbins at the Bay Hill Plaza. I love going to this Baskin Robbins versus the Daly City one because it's typically less crowded and more calm or quiet in the area. I also never have issues with parking. According to the reviews, this Baskin Robbins location gets the best overall rating within the surrounding area. Do we pay the price with long lines that barely move? With COVID restrictions enforced, they're only allowing 1 family or 3 people in at a time. Line was wrapping around the corner and took about 20 minutes for us to get to the front. For what ever reason, it didn't work and the cashier and another associate were rude and told me I was wrong and the coupon was not good bc the pre pack was already discounted. I was looking forward to picking up my daughter's cake that always seems to be something she looks forward to every year from Baskin Robins. This particular store was a great disappointment from entering through the door. There were three people working and not one of them greeted me which was a shock to me. It took literally 2 minutes before a young person asked me if he can help me. It was as though I was bothering them by going into the store. I let him know I was picking up a cake and gave him my name. He came back with the cake and basically mumbled. I let him know I could not understand what he was asking and he then once again needed to validate my name for pick up.... The cake was beautiful; however, the writing looked like a blob and was unlegible. A great disappointment! They could have contacted me to let me know it would not fit, but they did not. This Baskin-Robbins location gives the smallest scoops that are literally child size for adults. $8 for a double scoop sunday with 2 tiny scoops of ice cream that would barely even pass for a single scoop at other locations. You can literally get a whole tub of ice cream for half that amount they charge. Rip off imo. And the checkout screen has the nerve to ask how much you want to tip them LOL!!!!! If you want a tip how about giving customers the proper size scoop they are paying for & instead of teaspoon size scoops. I don't blame the employees as it seems they are trained to do it this way. We had a great experience we usually have! Today the server are extra rude! We order 3 creations for the kids, 1 scoop cup and 2 scoop in the cone! We cant hardly hear her since their music is blasting loud! This server dont know how to say hi even after we greeted her, she rushes us and kept pausing with her hands on the table looking away like shes so mad and impatient! I cant help but told my sister i dont know whats her problem! My sister was being understanding on the way the server is acting but she too got impatient and couldnt wait to get out of there. Every time my family and I go to this location, the service is terrible and the quality of the ice cream is bad. We're ice cream lovers. We tend to order a lot, two or three scoops or a big sundae. If you want your money's worth, stay away from this location. For example, a while back my dad ordered a three scoop, and the worker used the KIDS scooper for the scoops instead of the regular scooper. My dad asked them why are they doing that, and they replied it was to help "save money." What is the point of ordering a three scoop if you're just gonna use the kids scooper? And charge for a normal three scoop? Absolute scam. Not only that, but they extremely skimp out on toppings and overall size of the scoops. They'll use a big cup for your ice cream, fill it up halfway and leave tons of empty space on the sides and barely any toppings. I've stayed away from this location for as long as possible (the one in Millbrae is much better), but last night my mom and I were craving some BR. We ordered it for delivery, and sadly the only location available was this one. So we took a chance. I ordered a two scoop sundae with a brownie and extra hot fudge. She ordered a two scoop of chocolate peanut butter with caramel topping. What we got on arrival was unbelievable. My mom's chocolate peanut butter ice cream was just plain vanilla with a little squirt of caramel on the side of the cup. My brownie sundae was two child sized scoops, a cold brownie, and literally a drop of melted hot fudge (not even hot) on one of the scoops. No whipped cream either. Absolutely unacceptable. I wish I had taken a picture but at that time I was so over it, ate half of it and threw the rest away. Yes, I know we ordered delivery, but the driver was able to make it to our house in less than five minutes. The ice cream should not have looked the way it did in that time. This location has done a really great job in terms of COVID-19 precautions; only one customer is allowed in the store at a time, so on hot days you can expect a line outside, but there are usually two-three staff working and the line moves pretty quickly.
