Ate here for lunch and was surprised at how packed with meat the tacos came in. You really get your money worth. However it definitely could use more flavor but nothing sauces can't fix.

First time trying El Super Burrito and shouldn't have went. I came by with friend on Friday night at 7:30 pm. Prices are average. I got the super al pastor burrito and it was bad. 5 bites in and only rice/beans. The meat was dry. The burrito fell apart and all the oil dripped out. Very oily. There were people but not crazy busy. No salsa bar but free chips and a salsa. The salsa is watered down and no flavor. Small parking lot

We love getting food here because they really do make the perfect burrito. However, we ordered and paid online yesterday to only found them closed for construction!! Why did you take my order then?! We will be in contact for a refund. Please update your Yelp. Thank you.

That was an incredible find 450 miles from home! I was looking for something to eat after a long day(about 30 minutes before closing). I found this restaurant on Yelp because of its close proximity to the place I was staying. It was located on a Main Street. Parking was ample for the time I was there but I can see how it could get overloaded. The location is small but it worked...again at the time I was there. They had videos on loop so you would see the food on the screen. I ordered wayyyyy too much food as I was dining alone while on a business trip. Their Cali Burrito was a giant! It was absolutely delicious. Coming from Los Angeles, I've had more than my fair share of these. The meats were excellent. It was filled with fries, fresh guac, and pico de gallo. I'd guess it blew past a pound in weight and it was definitely appreciated! I also ordered the Carnitas Quesadilla. I was so full from my burrito that I barely touched it but it, like the burrito, did NOT disappoint. Another giant of a quesadilla and surely could be an item to share among two or more. If you enjoy quesadillas, this may become your favorite. If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would. The simple reason is that it gave me a little taste of home 450 miles away where I was willing to settle with average fast food. Prices are fair to low considering the size of their portions. Give it a try!

Greetings to all, this is my first time back to El Super Burrito in 7 years, our first experience here wasn't great at all, but this time I am happy to say that they have improved over time. The outside of the restaurant stayed pretty much the same, as well as the inside which has enough seating for a small lunch crowd. The service was great, and it came from an assembly line of beautiful ladies working at a generous pace to put out their best products as possible. I decided to test them though, l ordered a large Veggie Burrito with extra queso , they nailed it; it was very tasty. So after a 7 year hiatus, I will continue to come back for more of their tasty dishes. For me, this restaurant is a solid 3.5 with only room to get better. Nice comeback El Super Burrito So to be continued

I'm not sure what the hype was but not the best spot. Feels like you have to speak their language or be a regular to get a good order. Makes me a little sad to see that because I wanted some good food. If you have a spanish speaking friend I'd highly recommend coming here with them or they'll be a bit more lack luster with service. Interior is small but cute. Some seating for 2 or 4 people. No large groups. Probably won't come back.

The cashier wasn't friendly at all and made us feel uncomfortable/unwelcome. But the food was delicious and very affordable.

Their birria here was to die for. It was so delicious! The staff was friendly and efficient. The decor and vibes were excellent!

Cute and clean dining area with some booths! Large parking lot seems very safe. Across from Safeway. Lots of drink options, large menu that's good for all. My husbands burrito was fantastic. I loved my cheese enchiladas. Great chips and salsa too! Check this place out. Not far from airport.

Not that good. The taco shells are store bought and extremely hard. It's not authentic Mexican food.

"Great hole-in-the-wall Mexican near SFO airport"…read more Came here for dinner at 6pm on a Monday night, based on good Yelp reviews. The place is unassuming-- has a thin stretch of outdoor seating and a handful of tables inside. Not super bright in lighting, and a TV inside was showing a baseball game. Seemed like a lot of the business was takeout, as people would come, hover, get food, and leave. I was GOING to order the fish tacos or a fish quesadilla, but I was swayed by the picture of a breaded fish plate special. My son got the carne asada quesadilla, and others at the table got a veggie burrito and a chicken bowl. Food came out pretty quick-- maybe around or just over 10 minutes (the fish plate and veggie burrito came out slightly after the other two). I was very impressed that the fish plate looked even BETTER than the photo (see photos of both). The fish was HUGE. There was a generous helping of guacamole, lots of fresh avocado slides, some onion and cabbage, etc. There was a nice bed of lettuce on the side with sour cream over it, and the rice & beans (covered with a thin layer of cheese) on another side. The fish plate was just delicious. The batter wasn't overpowering or too heavy, and the fish was excellent inside (and very flat). I really liked the sauce in a little cup on the fish, or having it with avocado or guacamole, or even straight. The rice and beans were yummy too. Such a great dish, and it was under $20 before tax and tip. My dining companions all liked their food, though my son said the carne asada meat was "just good" (he had a bite of the chicken and said that was better). The person at the register was friendly. And as mentioned, the prices were very reasonable. I'd happily eat here again if in the area. Great portion size, great quality, good value, etc. Enjoy!

The burrito had potatoes, but they weren't french fries. They were boiled potato strips. Kind of somewhat annoying when that's what I was looking forward to. Also, I ordered a super burrito, but it was more like a taco. Burritos here are really small so if you're hungry, forget about it.

I've been having such terrible luck with Mexican restaurants lately, so I decided to give this food…read moretruck a try. I ordered the tostadas de ceviche, shrimp tacos, and quesabirria tacos. Based on some other reviewers claiming they were overcharged, I paid close attention to the total. In my case, I was not overcharged. The prices listed at the time of my visit were $13.75 for the tostadas de ceviche, $6 each for the shrimp tacos, and $4.50 each for the quesabirria tacos. The tax charged also appeared consistent with the expected 9.25%. Unfortunately, my experience raised some serious food-handling concerns. The first thing that caught my attention happened before I even received my food. I watched the woman who took my order step out of the food truck, walk over to a pickup truck, and retrieve something from the back. I couldn't clearly see what she was getting because she seemed to make an effort to keep it out of my view. She used her apron almost like a bag to cover whatever she had picked up before returning to the food truck. She then looked at me and smirked as she walked back inside. Almost immediately afterward, I heard her and the cook begin preparing the food, including seasoning the birria and shrimp on the grill. I obviously can't say exactly what she retrieved or how it had been stored, but seeing seafood apparently being brought in from the bed of a pickup truck was concerning. Seafood needs to be kept at proper refrigerated temperatures, and from what I could observe, I had no way of knowing whether the product had been properly temperature-controlled. Even if it was in a cooler, I would still have concerns about whether the proper temperature had been maintained. Another issue was the handling of money and food. The same person collecting payment was also preparing the food. When I paid with cash, I could see pieces of cilantro and onion still on her hands while she handled the money. Watching someone go directly from handling cash to preparing food without an apparent handwashing or glove change was disturbing and, at minimum, gave me serious concerns about sanitation. As far as the atmosphere goes, this is a food truck, so expectations should obviously be different from a traditional restaurant. The operating truck is parked on the street, while there appear to be two additional food trucks stationed on an adjacent property. That property appears to be a stationary setup rather than trucks parked along the street. There was also one picnic table with an umbrella where customers could sit and eat, which was a nice option if you want to eat there. Now, despite all of those concerns, I had paid more than $40 for the food, so I ate it, and this is where things get complicated. The ceviche was phenomenal. Honestly, I've never had ceviche this good. The flavors and textures were better than anything similar I've eaten recently. The tostadas had an excellent crunch, and the ratio of ceviche to tortilla was perfect. There was enough topping on each tostada that I could get a little bit of everything in every bite. Based strictly on the ceviche, I would absolutely return. The shrimp tacos, on the other hand, were just okay. They weren't bad, but they weren't particularly memorable either. The bell peppers mixed into the shrimp threw off the flavor balance for me. I think the tacos would be better without them, or at least with less of them. The quesabirria was also just okay. I've had better elsewhere, and I was charged extra for the consommé, which was something to keep in mind. So overall, I have very mixed feelings about this place. The ceviche alone was good enough that I'd want to come back, but the food-handling and sanitation concerns I witnessed would make me think twice. The food itself has some real potential, particularly the ceviche, but I'd like to see more attention paid to food handling, temperature control, and basic sanitation practices before I could feel comfortable recommending the place without reservations.

The issue is that I was definitely pushing it on time if I planned on making my flight. As I was driving here, I had the thought that if there was an annoying parking situation or a line, I would just have to pivot and forego patronizing. But as it turns out, there was one spot available right next to the front door and no one inside. But then when I requested a nitro, the owner (I assume?) was extremely apologetic that their coffee machine broke. I asked for a few alternate types of coffee, but it turned out said machine controlled it all. So we shifted to the pastries. I read on the website that they had something with guava, so I asked for two of those: one for me, one for the wife. He even offered to heat mine up, which I will say yes to 100% of the time. I then jumped back in the car and was back into "don't' miss your flight mode." Of course, when you're in a hurry, you manage to hit every red light along the way, so I was doing a lot of yelling at electricity and God. But then I figured I might as well take the time to try the pastry that I'd originally planned on eating on the plane. As it turns out, it brought me into a nearly immersive experience of zen. The only bad thing is that I devoured it within seconds and then it was merely a thing of the past. My wife is fortunate that I have the amount of integrity that I do because I am sitting on the plane as I write this and I could easily inhale that 2nd pastry with her being none the wiser. If you're reading this, wife, remember that you hit the spousal lottery.
