Terrible service I got off work late at about 3:30am and placed a mobile order. They took my money and accepted the order I arrived at 3:57 and because it was almost 4am they said they couldn't serve me as it was breakfast time. I wasn't able to cancel my order as it said it was being prepared. Now I wasted 6$ and 35 minutes going to McDonalds after a 13 hour shift.

Its McDonalds. The drive thru seems to always be busy. There's plenty of indoor seating depending on what time you get there. The food is always served hot and fresh fries never disappoint.

Good and fast service. Clean tables and lots of room for sitting. They have 3 windows whme pulling up so make sure to ask which window to go to

This is the driest "chicken strips" for $8 what the....oh this place needs to go. do not come to this McDonalds chicken is dry and stringy waste of money just threw it away. Terrible service as well. We asked for ketchup and bbq sauce and the man giving us our food was going to charge us extra. Since when does mcdonalds charge for sauce?

    There was no effort !

There was no effort on my McRib which I was excited for. Sad !! Like were is the quality it still cost money.

? I'm confused. What's going on over here?

Today's visit seems to be a 2 just because I noticed this garbage or compost on one of their countertops. I don't think it should be there. What's with the chicken tenders? Is that to be discarded or are y'all still serving that to the customers next to the garbage can? Makes me suspicious of the cleanliness. Come on now!

The Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese. Probably their best item (value-wise, with coupon). I do love my nuggies, but these hit harder

When people have a good experience here, the last thing they think is "Wow that was great! Let me write a Yelp review!". But when something goes wrong, the first thing they do is come on here. Which is probably why there are so many more bad reviews than good ones. As a delivery guy, I've been to pretty much every food establishment in the area - and this McDonald's is among the best (seriously). Turnover is very high in this industry (the job is not easy. Newcomers often don't make the cut) - so there are many many times when the team is short-staff because someone leaves and the managers have to step up. That being said, this McDonald's does a really good job of keeping up with the surge of orders (it's also pretty much the last 24hr eatery in the area). The food is great, the service is usually fast, and if something does goes wrong, they're very professional and quick to fix it. (There are other McDonald's in the area that will literally make you wait 15min for their error and then tell you you're on your own. Good workers are REALLY hard to come by, and when they do, they often are hired by other places that pay better.) I really appreciate this place - again, never had a problem with the quality of the fast food, and it's also super convenient that it's 24 hours and so close to me :)

3 pieces instead of 4 as per paid receipt

I went to the drive thru and ordered a Big Mac meal with large fries and large Diet Coke plus a four piece chicken strips. When I was home, I found out that the large fries was Medium in size and what was worse was the 4 piece chicken strips was only 3 pieces. On the order board it says 4 pieces as well as in the receipt, it says 4 pieces but we only got 3. The box container even says 3 pieces which is different from what is posted and what is on the receipt. Hey, McDonald's is this one way of shortchanging your customers. By giving a downgraded size and so with wrong number of pieces on a drive thru order, how many customers have you scammed doing this? I have pix to prove these. This is not a good practice. Now it's time to stay away from this giant and go to a competitor which I believe has a better quality and an honest approach to the business!

The lady manager here is really nice. I see her interact with customers and making sure her restaurant is clean and running in order.

There's a limited number of seats inside, but they also have a small outdoor patio as well. Good place to hang out and chill if you're able to grab a seat. I ordered the Gui Hua Oat Latte, since that sounded pretty unique. There was other drinks that I was interested in trying like some of the matcha drinks, but I rarely see an osmanthus-inspired drink at coffee shops. It is made already with oat milk, so I didn't have to ask for any milk substitutions. I thought it was pretty good in terms of a latte, however, I wish the osmanthus flavor was a little stronger. The barista mentioned that the latte would have more of a floral taste, but it felt pretty faint. Cost was pretty similar to other coffee shops in the area, since it was $8-9 for my drink with oat milk already included. Other than that, would come back if I'm ever back in the area. I like the cozy vibes and fun drinks that they have!

No shame in declaring Kaizen as my favorite coffee shop in the Bay Area!…read more Kaizen is a coffee shop located blocks away from the Hillsdale shopping center. It does not have a dedicated parking lot, so be sure to grab the first street parking slot you see! It's a modern, small shop with some seating options (if you come early enough, you will be able to get something!) My usual here is typically a black sesame latte and I will say, probably the best one you can get in the Bay Area. It's toasty, nutty, but not over powering. I have been having a hard time finding a comparable contender. Besides that their vanilla latte is delicious and bright. For me their miso is a bit salty but that might be a preference. They also have some amazing selections of pastries you can get. I always get something new while I'm here, most recently, I got a pork floss croissant but I did enjoy the ube croissant when they still carried it. Their baristas are always very kind, and are willing to help. Despite coming in some busy times, I always get my drink in a reasonable time. I will continue to rave about this spot to my friends! It's a gem. :)

Kinda went quickly but the place is so small that we were sure where we were going to take drinks and food. We managed to snag a table that was just leaving so that was good! I got the black sesame latte as I love black sesame but in coffee was just not my thing. I did get it iced so maybe it would've been better hot? Just tasted like a thick mush that I had to stir and whenever I took a sip, was extremely grainy, For the price, the quantity was much less than I was expecting, since they served it in a tall and narrow glass. Person I was with got the mocha and one of the toast items but no comments on either.

Regular HK-style ones are just okay too, nothing standout. Not cheap either (around $3 each these days?), but I guess you're paying for convenience on the Peninsula. That said, it's not bad at all, and when you're in San Bruno/Millbrae and don't feel like driving into SF Chinatown, this is one of the better local options. Not too many solid Chinese bakeries around here, so it fills the gap without being a total letdown. Best egg tarts are still at Golden Gate Bakery in SF Chinatown--no contest.
