    Irish stew $23
    Jeff H.

We came for a Friday dinner. I didn't see the old tall waiter guy. I hope he is OK. The restaurant was sort of full with the Warriors game on every TV. We had Guinness and Stella beers, both are $8. The appetizer platter $25 is highly recommended. It is sausage rolls, potato skins, onion rings, wings and quesadillas. Although tonight, no sausage rolls were available. The waitress checked with us and we replaced the rolls with fried mushrooms instead. The fish and chips $23 were filling. It is rare, but I had to ask for a to-go box for the last piece of fish. The traditional Irish stew $23 was excellent. It is hearty with big pieces of beef and carrots with mash potatoes in the middle. Bonus, staff didn't have Irish accents. I remember I was in the UK and could not understand 1/2 of what people were saying to me.

We needed a place to relax while waiting for our flight out of SFO, and this spot ended up being perfect. The bartender and servers were fantastic--super friendly and attentive. The food was just okay, which pains me to say. The corned beef was very dry, and we barely touched it, which was disappointing for an Irish bar. However, the fish and chips and the shepherd's pie were much better and more in line with what we expected for classic pub fare. That said, we still had a great time. We hung out, watched the NFL games, enjoyed some cocktails, and chatted with the locals. The vibe is fun, the prices are reasonable, and it's overall a really cool place to hang before a flight.

we stumbled upon this spot while looking for a quick lunch, and what a delight it turned out to be. the service was impeccable -- we were greeted at once and attentively looked after, even as the only guests sitting outdoors. they're wonderfully dog-friendly, too; my pup received plenty of pets and even a treat, which was such a charming touch the food was excellent. we had the spicy corned beef sandwich, and it was a solid 10/10. truly five stars -- highly recommended. do stop by this establishment if you find yourself in millbrae. thank you for a thoroughly lovely time.

Came here on a chill Saturday afternoon and although the bar was full, we were able to snag a table in the back. Parking is very limited so i suggest circling around the block if you cant find anything right in front. Their draft beers are crisp and delicious. Our group ordered a round of car bombs and they were wonderful. Service was great! We didnt eat anything. just came for the beer and vibes!

Fiddler's Green, Millbrae A cozy gem with charming outdoor seating that's perfect for a sunny afternoon. Their fish and chips are hands-down the best in town--crispy, golden, and generously portioned. I also tried the bangers and mash, which were hearty and satisfying, with rich gravy and perfectly seasoned sausages. A great spot for classic pub fare with a welcoming vibe.

I was given the task to find a place for 22 people to dine and only had two days to make it happen. To my delight, the first place I looked was Fiddlers's Green, and Sarah answered the phone and made it happen! Sarah, to my delight, was also our server for the evening and was amazing! She handled the entire party of 22 all while serving other tables! Not a single mistake, as every plate of foid, every drink was placed in front of the correct person! Even a few special requests were handled deftly! The cocktails were great, beer was cold, and the food was tasty! All enjoyed it. Cool vibe, lots of tvs for sports and it's a great spot for any sized party. Outdoor space, too!

    Spicy Irish Nachos, Guinness

Came in at 8pm on a Thursday and they were pretty much full house. I was seated outside, (they have heat lamps) and service was pleasant and quick. I got the Spicy Irish Nachos, United Irish Breakfast, and the Shepherd's Pie, and most importantly a glass of Guinness. They were all delicious and I would recommend it. Thumbs up

Fun Irish pub with a good atmosphere. The food was ok. I tried the Irish stew and it was pretty good except they put a sweet balsamic glaze on it that wasn't needed. Fish and chips were decent.

Fantastic menu, great selections, and damn good food. Very good service and a most enjoyable meal.

Walked into what is clearly a local institution - the kind of place where regulars know the staff's kids' names. Weekday evening crowd skewed silver-haired, which in my experience is always a good omen. These people have been eating out for decades - they know where the bodies are buried and where the good food is. Server was legitimately excellent. Paced the order so apps didn't collide with entrees - a simple move that most places fumble. Checked in without hovering. Knew the menu cold. Then this happened: I asked for a Pliney. He asked, "Elder or Younger?" That's when I had to pause. In all my years of ordering Plineys, no one has ever asked me that. Because no one has ever randomly had Pliney the Younger on tap. These guys did - apparently a locally advertised special that had been going on that day. They had a Keg of this rare stuff, and it was depleting quickly. I got the Younger on repeat till I was barely stumbling out of the place. Life is good. Ordered the Cheesesteak and it was legit - not playing around. The family went burgers, hot dogs, and wings. Zero complaints across the board. Bar fare done right, priced right, with zero pretension. Sometimes the best finds are the ones you didn't plan for.

American Bull is a solid sports bar serving up refreshing drinks and tasty food! This recent trip…read morewas actually my second time here, though the first time feels like forever ago (some time pre-pandemic). LOCATION: Its home is within the Burlingame Plaza, next door to a Lunardi's grocery store. It's located directly across from the Mills-Peninsula Medical Center on the corners of Trousdale and El Camino Real. PARKING: There generally is enough parking, though you may have to walk a bit further depending on the time of day and how busy it is. The lot and area seem safe, even at night when other things in the shopping center have closed down. INSIDE: We went on a Sunday evening, around 6pm to watch the Sunday Night Football game. It was actually pretty busy, though there was some bar and highboy seating as well as a couple tables still available. We went with the traditional table because the older we get, the more we appreciate back support. There are TVs EVERYWHERE. Most of the walls are lined with TVs, playing a variety of sports, but mostly whatever's local or the "main game". It's also pretty loud-you're still able to have a conversation amongst a smaller group of people, but you definitely have to be listening intently. There is a lot of cool, mostly local, sports memorabilia. They have a whole Giants corner, in addition to lots of Niners autographed jerseys, helmets, and footballs. There's also a wall with dozens of autographed baseballs. We took some time to look at the names, and noticed the likes of Mickey Mantle, Willie McCovey, and plenty of other Hall of Famers! DRINKS: Their drink menu consists of 10+ white wine, 6 red wine, and 2 sparkling wine options available by the glass or the bottle. They have bottled beer (domestic, imports, and microbrew) and cans (White Claw, High Noon, Wyder's Pear Cider, Ace Joker apple cider, and Guinness). They also have a couple non-alcoholic beer options, and other non-alcoholic options (coffee, tea, Pepsi products, juice, and Arnold Palmers). They also have over a dozen beers on tap, as well as a full bar that can provide shots and likely make most cocktails. Prices for most drinks are actually quite reasonable for the area--on par with a sports bar more than a fancy restaurant. FOOD: Their menu is surprisingly big for what seems to be a shopping center sports bar. For apps, they have a lot of typical bar food options (fries, onion rings, potato skins, mozzarella sticks, wings, chicken tenders, sliders, quesadillas, tacos, and even Lumpia). There is a section with half a dozen tasty sounding salads, available in full or half sized portions. There is also a separate section for their chili, which is served in a cup or bowl, with shredded cheese, chopped onion, sour cream, and fresh jalapenos. The sandwich portion of the menu runs 10+ deep with options such as burgers, a patty melt, Philly cheese steak, grilled and Buffalo fried chicken, salmon, BLT, and even a hotdog or polish dog (technically not a sandwich)! The entree section has some bangers too, with items like BBQ ribs, NY steak, grilled or blackened salmon, linguini, chicken parm, ravioli, and meatballs. I love that this section has an Italian flair, and want to come back to try things like the chicken parm! This most recent trip we went with friends and split a few things amongst the groups. I got the patty melt, with a side of chili. The melt was solid, not spectacular. I would have liked the grilled onions cooked a little more. The chili was also good, not great. We got all the accoutrements on the side, which allowed us to try it on its own first, then add as we go. Our friends ordered a Chinese chicken salad, and a burger basket with onion rings. They both finished their meals and noted that they enjoyed them! OVERALL: While this is basically a bar, it's also a restaurant. There were several children under the age of 10 running around screaming that were part of larger groups. Not sure if there's a specific time when minors are no longer allowed? The service was friendly enough, and the bathrooms were clean when we went. This is for sure a great spot to grab a drink, bite to eat, and watch a sports game or 3! IG: @bbnem.eats

There is a free well-maintained parking lot on the side and back of the casino, and it was easy to find a parking spot. I also saw a free shuttle bus taking people to/from the San Bruno BART station. There is only one restaurant which serves both American food (helmed by an American chef) and Chinese food (helmed by a Chinese chef). There is a direct entrance to the restaurant on San Mateo Ave, although you can walk through the casino from the main entrance to the back right area labeled "Bar". You order & pay at the counter and find a table and they will bring out the food to you on a cart when it is ready. There were plenty of tables on a Sunday evening ~6pm. All items already have tax included. They also have 4 different types of cakes (chocolate, carrot, tres leches, etc) and other desserts you can purchase. You get your own free water by the bar area of the restaurant. No need to bus your own table; there is a busboy who occasionally walks around cleaning up the plates and wiping down tables. Within the context of everyday no-frills cuisine, I would rate the food a 3.5/5. NY steak $28 - there was a nice grilled flavor and it was cooked perfectly medium but the meat itself was a little tough/chewy (which is why I prefer other cuts, but I can't be too picky here). It came with decently flavored mashed potatoes & gravy and a good-sized portion of sauteed vegetables. Chicken Parmesan $19. Generous portion. Came with fettuccine with tomato / marinara sauce. The sauce was a little too sour for my liking, and the chicken itself was a little dry. Shrimp with lobster sauce $22. Sauce doesn't actually have lobster (it's more of a thick Chinese black bean sauce with bits of minced pork, sauteed onions, and bell peppers). It's served over white rice. It was surprisingly hearty. I liked how there was enough sauce to coat each spoonful of rice. I personally would not return because I don't have a reason to gamble here and I don't like getting carded when entering (which I guess you could consider a compliment), but if you did spend the day here at the tables, the restaurant isn't a bad choice to have lunch/dinner.

We usually go with family or friends, though I've also seen a lot of company team-building events hosted here. The main downside is the cost. The hourly bay rates can get pretty expensive during peak hours, and once you add food and drinks, a visit can easily become pricey. We sometimes buy the gift cards from Costco, which basically works out to about 20% off. We've also purchased the summer pass the last two years, which gives unlimited visits for the pass holder and guests. That said, on weekends you still need to arrive early to grab one of the bays reserved for summer pass holders.
