two glasses of wine on a table

Wanted to get out for a drink. So this was nearby. Ordered a bottle of wine and some fires. Wine was $42 but it was so bad. I bet you get this wine for like $10 outside. The fries were also half burnt( if you can check in pictures) I wanted to complaint about the fries but the server was not there. Only reason to rate 2 is free parking and no rush even at peak times. But you def don't get the restaurant experience here. It clearly is an eatery inside a hotel. So know this before going. I would not go again. Too expensive and def not worth it.

When your by the airport make sure to stop by ALoft hotel. My first time having drinks here and I am glad we stopped by. Good vibes and friendly faces. Food too was delicious . The drink is called Viva!

We wanted a place to chill for a bit before the flight, and were not looking for a sports bar or chain. The bar is in the hotel lobby, bit it is actually pretty cool. There is a free pool tables, games scattered about, TVs with the games and food available. The drinks and food were OK, and fairly priced, so I count the stop a success.

After an event next door at the Westin SFO, we walked across the street the w xyz bar inside the hotel Aloft. It was only 11 p.m. or so but it was last call for my husband and me. One more drink for us, and if we were lucky, a little bite to eat. Totally got lucky! We walked in and the fun reception area led to a large, open room with lots of seating, a pool table, and a bar with pulsing lights on its surface. The bartender didn't take long to notice us and brought some menus and water (at our request). He wasn't really paying attention to us and missed the beer that I ordered with the waters. We finally got his attention again but he was never really that attentive. I ordered a $9 Caesar salad (by coincidence, my second Caesar of the day), and husband reluctantly ordered the $10 cheese plate. The last time we ordered a cheese plate was at a beer place in Walnut Creek and we would have preferred the pre-packaged single-sliced American to what we received there. However, this plate came out with a variety of delicious cheeses, both hard and soft. It had a couple types of crackers and a handful of red grapes. Definitely better than what we were expecting. My salad was also good, minus the boxed garlic croutons on top. Croutons are so easy to make and last a couple days.... I just don't understand why any business wouldn't take the 10 minutes to season and bake up their leftover bread. Also, I asked for hot sauce and I was given three packets rather than a bottle. Even though it's a pretty small amount of waste, I feel this is really wasteful. Why put all those tiny packages into a landfill, rather than just buying a Costco sized glass bottle that can be recycled? (Okay, this granola-hugger will stop there, but... seriously?!) Overall, we were really glad they served food late into the night. We finished our plates and my drink and headed back to the Westin for bed. A friendlier bartender could have talked us in to another round, but it was probably for the best that ours was too busy with the group at the other side of the bar.

This bar is in the lobby and has a wide variety of bourbons, impressive actually. I had the model to go along with my carnitas which were surprisingly very tasty. Atmosphere is your typical hotel bar scene.

Mocktails for those who choose -- always a plus.

Looks like a congenial spot for those on assignment -- part of the aLoft chain. Also convenient for meeting up when friends say they have layover at SFO. Bar food, good well drinks. Live entertainment. Tonight a harpist covering rock tunes.

Just here for XYZ bar pit stop. The barkeep / mixologist is very good at it. The Sassy Manhattan Martini is very strong and tasty. The ambiance is in keeping with the Aloft brand You can take your drink to the outside courtyard with fireplaces. Easy walk from the Marriott.

I think I wiil visit this place again

It was my first time in the WXYZ Bar Lounge. The lounge is open and welcoming. The customer service was excellent and attentive. The wine, beer, and appetizer were great. I notice that there are not too many gluten free choices. I will definally returned and I recommended it.

The place is quite pretty. We opted for a small table outside , which is much quieter. Our waiter was a bit stiff around the collar. I suspect he is an old timer, and clearly, we are not regulars. Regardless, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. The Food: Zucchini Cake, $15 - 4.5 Stars Menu: crispy zucchini cakes with cucumber & mint-yogurt dressing These cakes are ball shaped, deep fried, and made a healthy veggie taste naughty type of good. Very yummy. Lol Tzatziki, $9 - 5 Stars Refreshing and delicious, the tzatziki is an excellent complement to the meal. Octopus, $19 - 5 Stars I really need to stop eating octopus, but when I am in a Greek or Spanish restaurant, I am weak. Grilled octopus legs are soooo good. Their version is grilled just right, not too much char, plus they smartly removed the hardened tips (common) before serving. See photo. Lamb Shank, $34 - 5 Stars Menu: aromatic braised lamb shank with orzo & myzithra cheese The lamb meat is tender and falls off the bone. It is cooked just right. Mykonos Souvlaki, $31 - 5 Stars Menu: herbs marinated tenderloin, shallot & rosemary skewers I enjoy a tasty protein and produce meal, and this dish is perfection with tender pieces of tenderloin over a pile of veggies. It is everything I want.

There seemed to be quite a few parties indoors, which feels more like a club. Service was more leisurely than on previous visits due to the heavy amount of guests dining on a weeknight. Started off with the zucchini cakes and they were quite tasty. They were super flavorful and had a tasty dipping sauce that complemented this dish. The grilled octopus was gigantic and cooked to perfection, while not being rubbery. The lamb riblets were tasty as they were tender and served over a bed of arugula. The brussel sprouts were tasty, albeit a touch on the smaller side. Opted to share the chilean sea bass as the main course and it was gigantic. The sea bass was very fatty and buttery. I loved how this dish was served with some super soft potatoes and creamy spinach. The skin on the sea bass was also quite satisfying. The Galaktoboureko recommended by our waitress was merely so so. I find the version at Evvia much better. There is a 4% hospitality support charge added to the bill.

I went with their namesake drink, the Mortar and Pestle. Great and served in an actual mortar, with a lit cinnamon stick, which was a fun touch. Server was fun and friendly; loved his hat! The real standout for me, though, was the Summer Whip which I got to drink as my friend ordered one too many. It was amazing with the coconut cream making it super smooth. A mabye "dangerous" drink where you can barely taste the alcohol but feel it a few minutes later with how well rounded the taste is. We really wanted to try the After Hours at the Teahouse, as it was recommended, but sadly it wasn't available for our visit (out of pandan). Our server mentioned it doesn't even taste like alcohol (like the Summer Whip), so I'll be back to try that one. Cool bar, fun atmosphere, and solid drinks. Feels like it's best for drinks in a small group as the tables don't go too large.

Let me just say... wow! The Chicken Tandoori was one of the best I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor. This was actually my first time trying Chicken Tikka Masala, and I completely understand why it's such a popular dish. It was rich, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and not greasy at all. Paired with the garlic basil naan, every bite was absolutely delicious. I'm Middle Eastern Americam Afghan, and our cuisine is known for using a lot of herbs, spices, and bold flavors. Because of that, I'm very picky and skeptical when trying new restaurants. Rasoi exceeded every expectation I had. Every dish was seasoned to perfection and bursting with flavor. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the manager, Axel. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. He has outstanding customer service, an incredible personality, and so much passion for both the food and the restaurant. To the owners: you truly found a gem. It's hard to find someone who treats a restaurant like it's their own, and Axel definitely does. I'd also like to recognize our wonderful server. Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was working behind the bar making drinks while also taking care of our table. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and such a sweetheart. The entire staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. The IPA was fantastic ice cold, crisp, and incredibly refreshing, especially on such a hot day. It paired beautifully with the food. To top everything off, they surprised us with complimentary ice cream, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. It instantly reminded me of Afghan Qaimaq Chai. It was creamy, refreshing, and the perfect ending to an already incredible meal. I'm already looking forward to coming back with my family. Next time, I can't wait to try their biryani! Thank you, Rasoi, for a great dining experience. You've definitely earned a loyal customer, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine paired with exceptional customer service.

When I found out Stella was participating in " Flavors of the Peninsula", our suburban version of Restaurant Week in the city and that the 4-courses included a truffle gnocchi course, I made a Monday night reservation for two. The $65 prixe-fixe menu offered some of our favorites. Of course the best came first. Their version of truffle gnocchi is simply perfect - four delicate hand rolled pillows swimming in butter with fried sage leaves and truffle oil. I always have to stop myself from canceling everything else I've ordered and piping up " eight more gnocchi please". I opted for the salmon and my kid really likes Stella's chicken parmesan. The Stella salad features a yummy champagne dressing, candied nuts and cranberries in a nest of butter lettuce. The salmon was delicious, though the thinnest parts of the fish were a tad overcooked. The broccolini', spinach and carrot combination were fantastic, as were the perfect mashed potatoes. Kyle loved his chicken and made me take a bite if his pasta- yummm. Generally we are not dessert orderers but we were delighted with the lava cake and caramel gelato. It was a lot of food, especially for this restaurant and a true bargain at $65 for a four course meal at one of our neighborhood favorites that we generally save for special occasions due to the price tag.
