Great drinks, service, prices and environment. Perfect for sports or just hanging out. If you like weak drinks, don't go here. Cash only! Cheers

I discovered this place thanks to my friends Faco and Stolowitz who've got me doing trivia there every Monday. I was fresh off a flight from Hawaii so it's perfect. This is the only place I order fancy drinks . Every week I try something new . I tried the s'mores it was good. That grasshopper tho who's that was really good. They make a great Hawaiian blue and volcano too, I love the mai tai too. I miss Joey. He was a great bartender. Hey man they've still got some super great ones . Well the one guy there is awesome, dang I forgot His name. They've had some great comedy here too at times. Shout out to Honoton. The parking is great . There's a beach close by to walk it off if you're tipsy too. The drinks are priced great and they give you Your moneys worth. The crowd here is great too. I knew none of the customers but they've made me feel like fam.

What an absolute gem and a hidden treasure that reminded us of how the San Francisco Bay Area used to be! The Surf Lounge is a fantastic throwback for those of us who loved the Bay Area when it was grounded and friendly, when people were civil to one another, and when we all knew how to have a good time together! It was at the tail end of a visit to see friends and family in the Bay Area when a friend suggested we meet at the nearby Camelot fish and chips shop in Pacifica. We thought we'd escape the city after she was due to meet a client in Pacifica. After we were thrown out of yet another place for staying past closing and wanting to keep talking, we were referred to a bar along the mall. Upon entering, it looked slightly rough on the edges, but we were put at ease immediately when we saw a group of folks who were clearly having a great time, as we heard songs that took us back to our childhoods. We happened to stumble in on Karaoke Tuesday and everyone was getting involved. The drinks were reasonably priced, everyone was supportive of those singing (regardless of how suited they were or not for America's Got Talent) and there was an expansive back patio area. Adding to the fun mix of people, the interiors were a warm combination of the local charm and a tiki lounge. Since it was a school night for us, it took every ounce of discipline to keep from singing, getting completely hammered, and making a night of it. For the next visit, this will be a fun stop and we can only imagine how fun it'd be on a weekend with nice weather. A thumbs up for a lovely venue in Pacifica that's got a fantastic San Francisco vibe for those who remember when the Bohemian city was at its height.

This place is INCREDIBLE!! The BEST michelada I've ever had at a bar, they have a grasshopper mint chip milk shake that's to die for! They're priced well & they pour heavy! The vibes are amazing, it feels like home here I absolutely love it here so glad I found this place

Nick's Seafood Restaurant

If you're looking for a spot in Pacifica with a view that actually makes you forget--if only for a…read moresecond--how much you're spending, Nick's Seafood is the place. I came here for a special birthday meal, and while the bill at the end gave me little heart palpitations, the overall experience was great although I would have appreciated a birthday nod like free dessert or a something. I felt bad about the lack of bday recognition but you live and learn. The vibe here is interesting--it's a bit of a "tale of two rooms." The bar area is dark, moody, and has that classic lounge feel, while the dining side is bright, bustling, and alive with conversation. But let's be honest: you're here for the view. Looking out at the ocean is truly breathtaking and adds a layer of magic to the meal. We started with the prawns appetizer which was a solid setup for the main event. We loved the tangy tartar sauce that paired well with the fried prawn and did not make us feel bloated or greasy. The Crab Sandwich is the star of the show. At first glance, it's a simple "no-frills" situation--just a massive pile of fresh crab and mayo on bread but it is definitely a winner. Theres a reason why the prices don't stop these baby's from flying out of the kitchen faster than the boy's can serve them. Our server, Armando, mentioned that the sandwich is big enough to share. However, since it was a birthday, I figured we deserved our own! It is absolutely huge. I added avocado to mine, but fair warning: it was nearly a $4 upcharge, which felt a little steep. Speaking of the service, Armando was a gracious host and an even better server. Even though we were there close to closing time, the staff remained incredibly attentive. We never felt rushed, and the service stayed top-tier until the end. Now here's my take, for two people (sandwiches, avocado, prawns, and $4 sodas--not sure if refills are free!), the total came to $144 before tax. It is definitely an investment. Between the "market price" crab and the premium add-ons, the costs add up fast. I won't be a weekly regular at these prices, but for a special occasion where you want great service, delicious seafood, and a world-class view, I highly recommend it. I can't wait to come back for the next big celebration!

I got your most basic sausage and cheddar omelette and it did not disappoint! Ample cheese, ample sausage! Toast was great, but very buttery, so beware if you don't eat butter. Friends wanted to sub their sides for biscuits and gravy, and server said she would ask. Any alterations we wanted (extra hollandaise sauce, no bell peppers, etc.) we asked for, our server was kind and showed no annoyance at all, which was greatly appreciated. Coffees are great, drinks are great, and pricing is decent. Went in on a Sunday, got seated in the lounge immediately for a group of 5. I'll be back here for sure if I'm ever in the area!

It's clearly a popular spot, and for good reason. The quality of the meats stood out, especially the ribeye, which was flavorful and well-marbled. One of my favorite touches was the self-serve drink fridge in the back, offering a wide, unlimited selection that adds to the overall experience. The broth was rich and satisfying, complementing the ingredients nicely. The atmosphere strikes a great balance--casual and welcoming, with the feel of a classic Chinese hot pot restaurant. It's an easygoing spot that still delivers on quality, making it perfect for a laid-back dinner with family or friends.

Definitely one of those spots that grew on me over time ! Service has been solid on recent visits. Food comes out in a reasonable time, and everything feels much more organized compared to that first experience. The ambiance is classic and casual, a bit busy and lively, but that is part of the hot pot experience and adds to the overall energy of the place. Walnut Prawns Crispy with that signature sweet creamy coating. Always one of my go to dishes here. Green Onion Pancake Flaky, savory, and nicely crisp on the outside. Simple but really well done. Crab Rangoons Crunchy and satisfying with a creamy filling. Easy appetizer that always hits. Hot Pot (Beef, Pork Belly, Veggies) Great variety and consistently fresh. The beef cooks tender, the pork belly adds a nice richness, and the veggies balance everything out well in the broth. Overall, this place has been reliable for years now. Glad I gave it more chances because it has become a spot I keep coming back to :)) !!

One thing I really loved was how easy it was to make a reservation online. Being able to choose your exact table and preview the view ahead of time was such a cool feature and made it easy to pick the perfect spot for a special dinner. The service was amazing from start to finish. We started with the smoked salmon appetizer with grilled baguette, mascarpone, onion, and capers, which was delicious. For my entrée, I had the Dungeness crab cakes with fall vegetables, mashed potatoes, marinated fennel, petite frisée, and caper aioli, and it was incredible. My partner got the lobster mac & cheese, which was rich, flavorful, and definitely did not disappoint. You can have the same view outside but it's not the same as chilling over lunch and waves from the comfort of being indoors. The food is 3.5 stars relative to other seaside tourist traps, for decent value. The service is 3 stars, good luck hunting down your server. The clam chowder was pretty loaded with seafood and not too viscous (I.e. not too thick with cream). The crab cakes weren't too thick or too floury. Pleasantly surprised on the depth of flavor on seafood pasta too. Would skip prawn cocktail and raw oysters. Oysters oddly had no flavor. Not sweet not briney etc.

It is with sadness that I write this update…read more My visit there this past weekend was without a doubt the most depressing restaurant experience of all my many years of dining out. It's always been a dated space, but it has crossed over into musty and dirty. It didn't help that the place was also deserted. I felt like I was in a movie scene where the protagonist wanders into a deserted roadside cafe to order coffee and a sandwich from a rough-talking waitress and the only sound in the otherwise empty restaurant is the incessant droning of a ballgame from the ancient TV (hmm...that's kind of almost exactly what happened). This was mid-day on a Sunday when it used to be a hopping time for them. Granted, it was between Christmas and New Year's, but I suspect another part of it is that they no longer serve breakfast. Their breakfasts were hearty and delicious and a big weekend draw; sadly, the breakfast chef (I think he may have been one of the owners or the father of the current owner) passed away two years ago and breakfast was taken off the menu. I gave two stars because my sandwich and fries were still good, but I highly doubt I'll be back, ever. There doesn't seem to be any effort at all to create an inviting or even clean atmosphere. I remember being surrounded by other diners and hearing the happy chatter of families celebrating birthdays. Is it different at dinnertime? Possibly, but I just can't see how.
