This is a really nice bar that has good beers and mixed drinks at very fair prices. The bartenders are always pleasant. Incredibly, they have quality musicians playing on the weekends and they don't have a cover charge. I love this place and can't imagine anyone not having a good time here. Lots of Grateful Dead style and jazz played here! Tip the musicians.

A classy dive. As soon as me and my homeboy Clarence walked in to the tunes of Frank Sinatra playing on the jukebox. Instantly this dive turned into an sophisticated drinking establishment. The crowd albeit a little bit older than that of the 23 club down the block, was real mellow. Couple tables to hang out by the bar, a pool table, a dartboard, you know - the usual. The patrons reminds me of the crowd of Joe's of Westlake in Daly City. Some real og's. The bartender, I didn't catch his name, but he had the presence of a bartender of old. Probably one of the coolest bartenders that ever served a drink to me. If you're a fan of Carl from the Ha-Ra in the TL or a fan of the movie "Cocktail" with Tom Cruise, then yeah, this guy is up there. Lot of personality. The brothers that own the bar are serious hunters and have all sorts of trophy beasts on the wall. They even had a jackalope. You stay classy, Brisbane.

    Full bar!

Just want to update my review, this is definitely a hole in the wall stop; and You'll drive right by it if you don't know where your going. But don't let the redneck vibe scare you off, because this bar has some of the friendliest staff you'll ever meet! It has a crowd of all ages, and defiantly the best spot in Brisbane to grab a drink! Love the new management! And the cute tall blonde told me the whole history of Brisbane, and makes some of the best drinks!

Used to serve anything that's both American and Italian, until Vanessa had made it into a family run small business restaurant which was absolutely welcoming for both locals and tourists alike since 2004. It's the only reason I come to 7 Mile House during Asian History Month that aims for Filipino fun. My specialty drink: Ube Colada (non-alcoholic). I want to try the Lambanóg, but it's few years late and I wouldn't mind since I prefer any drink that's zero proof. This creamy purple smoothie is so refreshing, I wouldn't mind getting a brain freeze. Main course? Actually, I take something out of the lunch menu, which is Beyond Burger; pickles at the top, lettuce, tomato, and cheese; old school American style with a plant based patty! I eat the fries first since they're fresh and chewy. Wish I stick around for an appetizer or a salad; but given that there's several people dining indoors while few of us outdoors, I'll have to pass. Before I walk a couple of blocks toward 7 Mile House, I noticed the gas prices for both gas stations are just as high as near my neighborhood. I'll be wondering how long will a famous family run restaurant can go an extra mile before it runs out of steam. My best bet is that we must support each other as local communities, just like how the 7 Mile House of today had kept us together for generations.

The atmosphere is what stands out right away. It has that authentic sports bar vibe without trying too hard. TVs going, people locked into games, and just an overall relaxed energy. It feels like a place you can come to regularly, not just once. It didn't feel like a tourist spot at all, more like somewhere locals actually hang out. Food-wise, it's solid bar food done right. Wings, burgers, and the kind of stuff you actually want when you're watching a game or just kicking back. Nothing fancy, but it hits and fits the environment. The drinks were on point too. Good beer selection, solid cocktails, and plenty of options if you're just trying to chill for a while. The setup with TVs and bar games makes it easy to stay longer than you planned. The staff and the crowd both added to the experience. It felt welcoming, people were comfortable, and you don't get that awkward feeling walking into a new place. Only thing to keep in mind is it's very laid back and first come first served. Depending on when you go, you might have to wait or stand around a bit. Overall, if you're looking for a real sports bar with good food, drinks, and a local feel, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

Arrived about an hour after opening and immediately loved the interior! From the bricks to the orange cushioned bench seating to the nostalgic movies playing in the rear seating area's background, and the picnic tables on the patio, this place knows how to decorate! The sandwich, waffle fries side, salad, and cocktail totaled $60 and filled us up. Really crispy fries and awesome crispy edges to the smash burger! The salad left something to be desired despite a large portion size. I think I'll ask for dressing on the side if I order that item again. I did have to get up a couple times to close the door, but the staff caught on and paid attention to when it was ajar. The servers were friendly and checked on us three or four times but didn't try to convince us to order more, which was appreciated. The restaurant has a full bar and dining area. The place has the feel of a family Italian restaurant. It is quaint and comfortable. We both ordered the calamari steak which came with both soup and salad included. The soup was a minestrone - 9/10 - which was delicious, hearty, and felt like it was simmering all day. I think I could've easily just eaten the soup and salad and would have been very happy. The house salad - 8/10 - had a wonderful homemade Italian dressing. This was the best house salad I have ever had. Calamari steak - 7/10 - this was cooked very nicely and was piled high with garlic. The garlic wasn't overpowering at all and mixed well with the tartar sauce. The mash potatoes - 8.5/10 - were amazing and creamy. The menu had a wide variety of dishes. Given how good everything we had was, I would guess everything on the menu is likely just as good. Last but not least our server Audrey was great. She was attentive, pleasant, always there when we needed something, but never there too much. Audrey made the whole experience just that much better. I would highly recommend.

THE FOOD * Paper Plane ($13) - 4.5 stars. My partner thought this was really good - zesty, sweet, yet the whiskey still shined through. I dont usually like whiskey drinks and even I enjoyed this. * Matcha-Jito ($14) - 2 stars. Doesn't taste like matcha or a mojito much at all, overly strong. * Lavender Gimlet ($13) - 4 stars. Lovely, well balanced drink. * Kid's Mac & Cheese ($7) - 3 stars. Fine, quite salty. * Kid's Grilled Cheese ($6) - 3 stars. Also fine, cheese tasted like velveeta though. * Seared Ahi Tacos ($14.50) - 3 stars. Tuna had just a hint of pink. The toppings were a bit boring, could have used more variation/sauces. * Crispy Buffalo Chicken Burger ($17) - 4 stars. Chicken was very tender & moist.
