I came here last Friday to try some of their highly praised Filipino dishes. This place is located off the road in Brisbane within this industrial type area. It looks random at first but at the same time, very unique. It reminds me of a dive bar for truck drivers from the outside and heading inside, it also gives you that feeling. It's a pretty small restaurant sports bar with majority of the seating being outside. I ordered their Sisig Manila Style, Sizzling Pork Adobo with rice, Lumpia Sampler, Calamari, and Ube Cheesecake for dessert. The Sisig is our favorite pick because it's fatty with that nice sizzling taste and texture. It's bold with a good flavor and pairs nicely with the runny egg. This dish is a must. The adobo was just ok. Honestly, it wasn't my type of adobo and was too watery, thin, and slightly bland. It just tasted like watered down soy sauce and light vinegar over shredded pork meat. The calamari was a big portion and went great with the garlic aioli sauce. I also didn't like the lumpia's. The lumpia was soggy and way too bland with little filling. It didn't have that authentic taste to them which was a bummer. I'd avoid this sampler. We thoroughly enjoyed their Ube cheesecake though! It was sweet, tasty, and had a nice cream cheese texture. The makapuno coconut shreds paired great with the cheesecake and made it so unique. We'd definitely order this again. Overall, I thought it was just ok. I listened to the hype and yes, it was too much. For those that aren't Filipinos or didn't grow up having authentic homemade Filipino food, you could tell the difference. It's almost as if the dishes are "Americanized" and lacks the real ingredients in the dishes. Truthfully, I wouldn't come back but hey, there's a lane for everyone and I know this place is beloved by many. That's important.

Pretty solid Filipino-American sports bar near the Cow Palace venue. We went around 5pm for dinner right before the event and it was a very lively atmosphere - both the Knicks championship game and FIFA World Cup were playing in alternating TV screens so it was crazy. We got the espresso martini flight, beef and chicken lumpia, and sizzling pork adobo. The espresso martini flight was pretty good - I never would've thought to try different variations like ube churro, salted peanut butter, and banana pandan - a small deviation from the classic, but it boasts wonderful fusion flavors. The lumpia was good but they mixed it so it's a gamble if you got chicken or pork, and I wish they separated it out so we all get an equal share of each. The sizzling pork adobo is good but could be better. The rice is a bit overcooked. Service is very slow - it's fine given all the sports playing, but it is quite inefficient. Definitely plan a lot of time here, and a very long waitlist if you don't make a reservation.

Have you been here yet?? A nice variety of food. Kind a hole in the wall but the food is super yummy. I love Ube and if you love ube, you need to go. I ordered the ube waffle and fried chicken. Really good. The ube wasn't too sweet. I also had an espresso martini which was very weak and wasn't worth the money. My friends always get the adobo and love it. Will I go back? Yes!

The last mile house that is only in Brisbane, still close to Cow Palace, never far off. The last mile house that last for over 168 years is an amazing sight, with many stories of old to tell, along with survival stories like COVID that 7 Mile House stronger and better than ever. Used to serve anything that's both American and Italian, until Vanessa had made it into a family run small business restaurant which was absolutely welcoming for both locals and tourists alike since 2004. It's the only reason I come to 7 Mile House during Asian History Month that aims for Filipino fun. My specialty drink: Ube Colada (non-alcoholic). I want to try the Lambanóg, but it's few years late and I wouldn't mind since I prefer any drink that's zero proof. This creamy purple smoothie is so refreshing, I wouldn't mind getting a brain freeze. Main course? Actually, I take something out of the lunch menu, which is Beyond Burger; pickles at the top, lettuce, tomato, and cheese; old school American style with a plant based patty! I eat the fries first since they're fresh and chewy. Wish I stick around for an appetizer or a salad; but given that there's several people dining indoors while few of us outdoors, I'll have to pass. Before I walk a couple of blocks toward 7 Mile House, I noticed the gas prices for both gas stations are just as high as near my neighborhood. I'll be wondering how long will a famous family run restaurant can go an extra mile before it runs out of steam. My best bet is that we must support each other as local communities, just like how the 7 Mile House of today had kept us together for generations.

We tried a variety of items from 7Mile House! The lumpia was hot and fresh and so delicious! The fried zucchini sticks were also a star and the Ube tres leche as well as the boba drink. We ordered some other entrees that were ehhh, but over all this place is a vibe. A staple to locals right at the edge of the city and a great place to watch the game. Service is attentive and friendly.

To go order! Had the adobo and it wasn't as vinegary as I expected. But the flavors were nice and very filling. Thank you for the thoughtful packing. The chicken pesto sandwich was dry with little pesto... so stick to the Filipino plates :) Friendly service; Street parking Thanks!

My Uber driver was a fellow bay native, and recommended this spot for good lumpia. What I didn't realize was how amazing it was going to be with drinks, desserts, appetizer, vibe, and everything else. Little corner spot off the road with decent parking down the street. The inside has a dive bar feel, with two outside patio areas, one was striped and simple and the other area has glitter reefs, a TV, and a little more upbeat. We sat there and took a corner table on a day where the weather was perfect and it was a vibeee. This spot has alot of bay history which you can feel, and we loved that. I highly recommend outside time when weather permits. We ordered lumpia sampler, ube martini, ube colada, lychee martini, ube coffee, lumpia sampler, adobo, beef salpacio, fish tacos, ube cheesecake, and funky monkey. Wow. We went in. Alllll of it was incredible, minus the fish tacos. Those were in tostada cups with melted yellow cheese and could def be better from the tortillas To the fish marinade to the toppings...However, the rest of the menu was nothing short of incredible, we left nothing behind. Only other feedback was they were out of quite a few things, only made certain things later on in the day like the brazilian soup, and it was 12pm. We were all ecstatic for the ube tres leches and were sad we didn't get to try. Ill come back and try again soon nonetheless! Had a great time.

Finally got to check out this place! Definitely worth the try. Place has plenty of seats inside and outside. Parking is closeby and isn't too bad. Oysters were fresh, nice with the sauce pairing. Ube boba was tasty, not too sweet and had popping boba! Ube cheesecake is made by the owners mom, which we enjoyed! Not too sweet. Got the grilled mushrooms which were so flavorful and juicy, but a little salty after a while. Sizzling adobo was sooo tender and flavorful. Deep fried pork chops were delicious, reminded us of katsu style. Brazilian fish chowder was flavorful and loved that it came hot in temperature, just didn't expect it to taste more like Thai curry. The lumpia sampler was a hit, loved the delicious variety. Service is 10/10! Host and server were kind and attentive. Had the honor to meet the owner, Vanessa, and her niece for Easter Sunday today! Played a fun mysterious egg activity! Vanessa was so kind, friendly, bubbly, and positive!

3.5 star We visited on a Saturday night and ordered the fish lumpia, sweet chili garlic wings, Manila-style sisig with rice, and sizzling pork adobo with rice. For drinks, we tried the Ube-B-Boba and the Mango Margarita. The fish lumpia came out fresh from the fryer and was crispy, although pretty oily. The flavor was decent, but it really needed the soy sauce vinegar dipping sauce that came on the side to add some acidity and balance. The sweet chili garlic wings were good, but the sauce reminded me a lot of Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce. Both entrees were flavorful, but overall they leaned too salty for my taste. The pork adobo was tender, but I wished it had more vinegar and black pepper flavors. That's just how I enjoy my adobo though. I also found myself wanting more acidity in the sisig to cut through the richness. The drinks were fine. The Mango Margarita can be ordered blended or on the rocks. I chose it blended, but it was a little too sweet for my preference. The Ube-B-Boba was enjoyable but didn't particularly stand out. Overall, the food was fine, but nothing really wowed us. It's a decent spot, but I don't feel a strong need to rush back.

Location: parking can be hard Zucchini sticks 4/5: huge, crispy, tender zucchini Chicken wings 3.5/5: should have gotten the sauce with the wings, crispy, not dry Sisig with lettuce wrap 3.5/5: great portions, great char taste, needed more tanginess, acidity, and crispiness Adobo 4.5/5: extremely tender, amazing portion, slightly sweet, needed more acidity and black pepper Service 4.5/5: wish our appetizers came before our entrees but the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming Ambiance 4.5/5: it's small and a little run down but as expected with the rich history of the building, amazing playlist, seemed like everyone has have great conversation

So glad we went here. We came here after Cow's Palace from the Great Dickens fair, and they had a kids menu. We found parking pretty easy. My son was napping when we came in as we tried stretching his nap due to our itinerary during the limited time we were here. The interior was cutely decorated for the holidays and articles about this place decorated the walls of the sports bar. What I was curious about was that this was a filipino sports bar! Ordered our food - lumpia was bomb (filipino lumpia has normally been bomb by default) and my husband and I shared a Cows Palace burger. They helped us split it onto two different plates which was very nice! The burger was delicious. And our son's pasta was humongous! It wasn't super salty for his. His dad enjoyed the soda and ice cream on his behalf (my son is currently 13 months, has been eating solids since 6 months, and has 14-16 teeth , which is why we went with what we chose). They had two bathrooms, no changing area for kiddos, and a back patio as well as seating before you enter. High chairs were available upon request. And sounds like if you were local, you do get a bunch of coupons/incentives to be a return patron. One of the patrons at the tables shared their free coupon with us, and my husband got to enjoy the mango margarita. They said they often get coupons in the mail here. When paying, they have a QR code where it links quickly to pay. I thought that was super efficient in case the waiters were busy. Hearty portions for a decent price. The place filled up shortly after we were mid meal eating. We would definitely return if we are in the area!

Came to watch the disappointing Niners game, and luckily the vibes at 7 mile house made up for their loss. We had a 4:30 reservation, and we stayed for a majority of the game and didn't feel rushed at all, which I really appreciated! We ended up getting a bunch of apps and some main dishes during our time here and everything was great! They have a wide variety of food, so there is something for everyone. The vibes were still great, and I will definitely be back to watch another game here!

First time here with the wifey and daughter during our weekend trip in the Bay Area. And we love it! Parking, the location is interesting but it had plenty of parking which is surprising for a restaurant in the Bay because typically it's hard to find parking. Nice mom and pop restaurant. It small inside with limited tables but they make up for it with outdoor seating. Outdoor was actually very warm with the heat lamps and sealed properly to prevent wind draft entering. It was also karaoke night so it was a treat to listen to brave folks sing. Food is excellent. Highly recommend the sweet chili garlic wings and fish lumpia. Fish lumpia is like a delicate better version of fish and chips. Not greasy, excellent texture, soft and crispy. Server was excellent, friendly, humorous, and hardworking. He was seating people, grabbing waters, taking orders, bringing out the food, checking on people, and taking away finished dishes. Definitely would come again! The UBE tres leches was amazing!

Crispy, chewy crust was Yummy! 5/5 BUFFALO WINGS with RANCH DRESSING ~ These wings don't look homemade. If it was done fresh, you'd get a glaze of Frank's Hot Sauce on the wings. The sauce looked fried into it, the wings were small, and the meat was dry. We've had better. 3/5 CAESAR SALAD ~ romaine, crisp capers, parmesan cheese, croutons. The salad was already wilting because they put the salad dressing on the romaine. It would be better if the dressing was on the side, so it stays fresh. The dressing was nice and zesty. 3.5/5 We enjoyed the pizza the most and would come back only for that. Highly recommend getting the Brooklyn if you like a little bit of spice in the pizza.

I think there's even a karaoke night, to boot. though I still miss the Last Stop, Recovery Room has nicely filled in its absence and continues to be one of my favorite bars in this part (Excelsior District) of town.

This is such a gem in South City -- it's the perfect meet up spot for lunch, happy hour, or dinner…read more Recently had lunch here and the food, service, and ambiance were all lit. Let's start with the service. Our server was incredibly attentive from the moment we walked in. We were handed menus and then asked if we preferred still or sparkling waters - we opted for the latter. Next, he politely made some recommendations to the more popular items on the lunch menu. We went with his suggestions and he did not disappoint! For two people, we shared the following two items: * MEZZE PLATTER - hummus, babaghanouge, falafel, tabbouleh, and pita ($19) * BEET SALAD - roasted heirloom beets, carrots, goat cheese, honey thyme vinaigrette ($18) For our entrees, we had the following: * BEEF SHAWARMA WRAP - lettuce, sumac onion, pickles, tahini sauce, mixed greens ($19) * ROASTED SALMON - pacific salmon, turmeric rice, grilled broccolini ($29) Food was absolutely incredible. Fresh ingredients, simple preparation, Mediterranean fusion, and assembled thoughtfully without compromising nutrition. I am a fan. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with an inviting style for large groups, intimate fireside chats, or bar seating. They even have a pretty neat happy hour menu that I hope to check out one day. All in all, this is a top fav in South City. Looking forward to a future dining experience here!

Our work group comes here for events often, so I've tried a lot of dishes here. The mezze platter is delicious, the falafel is okay, but everything else on the mezze platter such as the babaghanouge, tabbouleh, hummus, and pita are 5/5 stars. Other wins are the prawn pasta and the branzino. One of my favorite restaurants in downtown SSF.

We went here to have dinner while waiting to pick up a family member from San Francisco Airport…read more This place is about 10 minutes away which made it an easy drive. The restaurant has a full bar and dining area. The place has the feel of a family Italian restaurant. It is quaint and comfortable. We both ordered the calamari steak which came with both soup and salad included. The soup was a minestrone - 9/10 - which was delicious, hearty, and felt like it was simmering all day. I think I could've easily just eaten the soup and salad and would have been very happy. The house salad - 8/10 - had a wonderful homemade Italian dressing. This was the best house salad I have ever had. Calamari steak - 7/10 - this was cooked very nicely and was piled high with garlic. The garlic wasn't overpowering at all and mixed well with the tartar sauce. The mash potatoes - 8.5/10 - were amazing and creamy. The menu had a wide variety of dishes. Given how good everything we had was, I would guess everything on the menu is likely just as good. Last but not least our server Audrey was great. She was attentive, pleasant, always there when we needed something, but never there too much. Audrey made the whole experience just that much better. I would highly recommend.

We went to the first door we saw from the parking lot but it was locked mid-day. We thought maybe this location wasn't open or available to all but we did see some people inside so we walked around the building a bit and found an unlocked door. The space is modern and very open. There were a lot of people using it as a work space, seated in all different areas of the bottom floor. There was a spot to grab a beverage and snack and we almost did but as we approached the snack bar, the menu for the upstairs restaurant caught my eye. It listed a dessert I just had to try so we made our way upstairs. That experience wasn't great as they told me the menu at the bottom of the stairs was old and then made no effort to change it out. I think we would have had a better time here had we just grabbed a drink downstairs and relaxed like most of the other patrons were doing. I really liked the space. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. There was a good vibe downstairs and I would definitely spend time here again. It's a bit out of the way but worth checking out of you are looking for something other than a one dimensional lunch spot or just need a nice place to hang for a bit or get some work done.
