I usually order the Roasted oolong milk tea with less sweet and less ice. Perhaps the only store that offer the option with less ice in this area. The roasted oolong milk tea and popcorn chicken are by far the best in town. Tried their grass jelly milk tea this time and its delicious. I will be back for some more. read more

I usually love T4 but I had the worst experience to date today. First off, I ordered a snack and two drinks during happy hour when there was absolutely no one in line. Apparently you have to mention that it's happy hour to receive the discount. Finally, when I got my drinks one of them was missing the boba I had paid to for despite it clearly being labeled on the cup. Buyers beware: confirm the cost of what you order and if it's correct when you get it, especially during happy hour or else you'll pay more than what you actually get. read more

i guess i dont get to millbrae enough. i never knew there was a t4 here. i used to go to san leandro for this place. now i dont have to cross the bridge. its pretty good boba place. i know theres so many but this place stands out. not exactly sure how. but if im ever in millbrae downtown, i will always stop by here now. better than quickly. its funny that they think its science to make the drinks.their boba is pretty good, chewy and soft the way i like it. drinks arent too sweet although i never ask for 100%. employees are really nice which is surprising for boba places. read more

Got a free drink reward. So I went here to grab my free drink and when I enter in I ask the cashier girl what size and drink can I order to redeem the free drink. She said anything and any size. So I order my drink and then I order another drink. When it's time to pay, the cashier girl charge me the expensive one and give the cheaper one free. In the beginning she didn't say or mention about the free one will be the cheaper price one. Should of saying something. Didn't say anything until I ask why and then she said the free one will be the cheaper one. This is the first time that they don't explain to customer. Terrible customer service. If she at least something or explain it to me then I will be like ok but no I need to ask and she was like just stand there like a wood and look at me back. Stupid girl don't know customer service. I'm so excited to have finally found a decent boba place that 1) lives up to my Socal boba standards, 2) is within 10 miles, and 3) isn't in San Francisco. I've tried the T4 in Walnut Creek and really enjoyed their drinks, so I was super excited to find out there was one here as well. Came here yesterday and ordered the Roasted Oolong milk tea 50% sweetness and no ice with boba and popcorn chicken. Sweetness and ice level can be adjusted and you can upgrade to a larger size. They have student discounts and I'd recommend checking in with their Fivestar rewards for future points and offers...I just got an offer for BOGO drink by a certain date in December and am so excited (inner boba fiend coming out). The drink came out as soon as I finished ordering and paying. I was amazed at how fast it was made (but to give context, there was no one else in the store at the time) and it was perfect. Creamy with a good amount of tea flavor, chewy tapioca balls, just great. I finished half my drink in 5 minutes because it was just so goood. The popcorn chicken came out quickly as well and it was fresh - actual chicken pieces with a crispy outer covering that was delicious without any additions...but of course you have the choice of adding red chili pepper, black pepper, sriracha, or ketchup. T4! A place in this Millbrae location, that I have visited numerous times. Times where I have ordered drinks in bulk for my family, because of their happy hour times, from monday-friday, 5:30-7:30pm. Their snacks are pretty good too. My favorites are the basil popcorn chicken, and the fried calamari. You can also get a 15% off discount, with school student ID. Ordered a kumquat lemon with boba, 50% sweet and 30% less ice, along with a taro smoothie with boba. The taro smoothie was okay, but it was somewhat heavy in liquid even when i first drank it, versus a thick texture, like a smoothie. The kumquat lemon was pretty tasty though! Board games are located inside, they have a point reward system for free drinks, after you hit 10 stamps, free wifi, street parking outside, or near the millbrae parking lot in the rear, etc. Lots of drink [and quite a bit of food too] variety on their large menu to the right, as soon as you walk in. T4 is my FAVORITE place boba place in the peninsula. Friendly employees, clean space, and very chill spot. The drinks are made fresh right in front of you and almost always made to perfection. woohoo boba! decided to give this place a try especially after seeing reviews about their roasted oolong milk tea. we came in pretty late on a weekday so the place was pretty empty when we got in. The staff is very very friendly, and was very eager to help explain some items on the menu we weren't sure of. I ended up sticking to a roasted oolong milk tea, added boba and only requested for 50% sweet. I was a bit bummed when I took the first sip and the drink tasted like .... oolong flavored water. I'm not sure if it's because they were almost closing and I got the ends of the brew, or if their roasted oolong always tastes this light. either way, I'm not sure I would come back here again. maybe if i do, i'll try a different flavor... :( read more

The pricing is decent and the atmosphere is nice. However, most of the specialty drinks are pretty whack imo. Stick with the standard rose milk teas and thai teas with boba and you'll be fine. Giving it 3 stars instead of 4 because the food quality isn't great. Got a stomach ache eating their fried chicken and fries. The service was okay - nothing memorable, nothing lacking. The okinawa milk tea lacked flavor although I wasn't expected much for 80% sweetness and 80% ice. It is very close to water. The boba has good texture though. Would prefer boba from Boba Guys, T-Pumps, or Sharetea. T4 should be able to find its way in Millbrae. read more

I usually get their jasmine milk tea here, and for the snacks their popcorn chicken is pretty good as well as the cheese sticks! Its not like mozzarella sticks! I was obsessed with this place when it first opened, specifically with their 'Elegant Rose Royal with large boba' tea, which was love at first taste--became my addictive undoing :-) It's the nectar of gods, an extract of crushed rose petals mixed with water, syrup, and boba, sprinkled with dried rose petals (never such a thing as too much rose)! I get Large 0% ice and 0% sweet, cuz you get to specify how much sugar and ice you want. At the height of my addiction, I'd get 0% ice, take it home, dump it in my own massive tankard and add my own ice. This stuff has to be tasted to believe . . . it's insanely swoon-worthy. The flavor is fresh, clean, clear. It's not fake sugary and artificial tasting, as many of the cheaper boba places are. T4U is pricier than competitors, but the flavors are honest. The place is sparkling clean, with super friendly staff, making drinks at breakneck speed. I find it refreshingly cute that teenagers sit here with their drinks and fried snacks, actually talking to each other, making eye-contact, playing board games (supplied by T4U), not staring at their phones. It's a place for socializing as much for selling their amazing concoctions. I go here less often now (kicked the rose habit :-), but still LOVE their unbeatable Elegant Rose Royal. read more

Ordered a matcha with real milk tea (warm) and it was delicious!!!! Sat in the store working on my computer for an hour (waiting for someone to arrive at sfo). On a Monday afternoon, the place was fairly quiet and then business started to pick up around 5pm (I think they have some happy hour specials). My favorite to always try first at a new boba spot is Jasmine Milk Tea. If you Jasmine milk tea ain't good then you are in trouble. Short line the first time I came and I ordered Jasmine Milk Tea. I though the milk tea was a little watered down but the boba was cooked to perfection! It was a busy day so I will be back to try again. My boyfriend on the other hand got the passionfruit smoothie and it was delicious! A must get when it is a hot day! I came here with a friend and we each ordered a drink to go. I got the hot ginger milk tea and I love ginger tea so this ended up tasting pretty good after several sips in. At first when I tried it, I thought it was too sweet and it probably is too sweet but after a while you kind of get used to it. My friend told me his drink has a detergent aftertaste so I expect his experience is different from mine. read more
