I got a sandwich delivered, this review does not note the juice. While the sandwich was tasty and delicious, a sandwich is only as good as it's weakest link. The contents exploded with flavor but the bread got a bit soggy but it does make sense. Probably not the best thing to get delivered (or maybe it depends on the sandwich). Freshly, I'm sure they're good but I also imagine not everyone has the time to sit down to eat. Toulon BBQ Sandwich - too much sauce. I mean the taste was great, sauces and solid contents blended together well, but the amount of sauce led to the bread getting soft and soggy and I think that's a sign. Snagged this one because of the chicken and pesto - was like, sounds like a great pasta dish so it must be good between bread. Tomatoes and other vegetables tasted very fresh. Chicken was tender and juicy, but couldn't tell if it was just the chicken or because of the sauce. Was craving a smoothie while walking around the area, so decided to go to this cute little place at the end of Burlingame Ave. The menu was taped to the window and they have a variety of smoothies as well as other food. The young man who took our order was nice and friendly, the other person working there kept staring at us awkwardly and it was very uncomfortable. I ordered 2 smoothies that totaled $19 and figured they would taste amazing, especially for that price. They were just average, at best. And too watery for my taste. Our favorite smoothies in the area. Reasonably priced compared to other options near by. They have a lot of choices for the smoothies, each one I've had being really good. My go-to is the Aloha, classic strawberry banana. You get the option of frozen yogurt or ice cream in the smoothies--I always go with frozen yogurt, the ice cream is a bit too sweet. Living in Burlingame for the past couple years and I regularly visit this place if I'm craving for an acai bowl or a smoothie. Food and beverages taste OK and not worth the $9 for a (tiny) medium açaí bowl. This looks more mini to me than medium. The owner though.. He's so rude to his employees and I feel so bad for them :/ if he's rude to employees in front of customers I can't imagine the abuse they're facing when there are no customers. Heard no complaints nor compliments so hmmm I guess it's okay. Not sure if we go there again. There were no lines at the store, we were the only customer. Parking was hard to find especially on the weekend. I gave 3.5 stars because if you use your credit card, they charge you an additional fee. There were no signs of this nor did the cashier mentioned this to me. Well at least I didn't see the sign. Anyway, I wasn't happy with that especially during the coin shortage. Many places are requesting we use cc, debit card, or exact change to pay while this place on the other hand charging me extra for using my credit card without telling me. ITS SO OVERPRICED. I paid 11$ after tax for a TEACUP worth of acai. The whole bowl was practically fruit on top... there were maybe 4 or 5 bites of actual blended acai. It tastes good but i'll be caught spending over 10$ on such small portions again. I have been here a few times just walking in to get a smoothie bowl. They have a huge menu to choose from - such as bowls, juices, and smoothies. They have three sizes (small,medium and large).i have gotten the medium bowls and the bowls I have gotten were pretty good. I would say I live only a few minutes away but by the time I get home with it, it always seems to be pretty melted. Other than that I definitely hope to try one of their smoothies and juices. I did see they are still open during the shelter in place at this time. They do have a delivery option which is nice if you don't leave your house for a pickup. read more

The guy who served us the drinks left so the other 2 newbies I guess were left at the store .. We waited for the sandwich and it was only 1 sandwich and 20 mins? I mean how can you operate fast if there is a long line then you can't keep with the demand.. The young lady there was just busy looking at her bf who got his order first before ours ( not surprised!), and instead of her helping the young dude with the sandwich, she chose to look at her bf from a far while he was standing outside.. I mean you were at work lady, attend to your customers first and deal with your personal life later or better just take a day off if you're not into work.. And when we followed up with our one sandwich that took more than 20 mins to serve, she couldnt even look at us but just squirm no apology whatsoever but just gave the sandwich. Girl, if you don't wanna work and just wanna be with your bf, Make it easy for you, leave, anyway your customer service really fails big time! Again I'm not sure if people understand what it is to be of good customer service it just doesn't exist anymore. I think associates at establishments need to really understand that if customers are not coming in! there is no revenue! which means they cannot pay you. I was there at this establishment today at around 4:45 PM and the guy at the register just had a horrible horrible attitude I will not go back there particularly because of that. Update so I just drove into my food as I got home and the açai bowl is nothing but toppings it's like literally 15% of 70 and the rest is toppings I will not be going back to this place. Alas, it had banana and granola on top. My total order with delivery was $30. Called the restaurant and the person who answered sounded like a preteen person working there. She didn't know how to work with grubhub. I asked for a manager and she said to call tomorrow because there wasn't one there til then. He said, "I'll make one for you, but it will take a long time." I probably should have declined and tried my luck elsewhere, but I ordered a medium Hawaiian bowl. While I waited, a group of teenagers came in and he seemed to be quite friendly with them. The first person ordered an acai bowl...and he didn't say anything about being sold out or it taking a long time to make. In fact, he glanced at me and smiled. It took 5 minutes to make my acai bowl and when he gave it to me, I asked when the best time to order a bowl was, and he said to try at 9 am. The acai tasted like it was made from concentrate.
