Kudos to any small business that is bold enough to open their doors during trying times... Wishing you all the best! I believe Tea Juice has some sort of partnership with the next door Chinese restaurant: New Canton Restaurant. My receipt confirmed my suspicions... Perhaps it's the same owners? Not that it matters... I decided to stop by based Tea Juice based on the handful glowing reviews. I also love to support little local mom and pop spots and try new places as well. I'm glad to report the reviews weren't misleading! The inside was closed...adhering to SIP protocol; there was no indoor dining. There is an open window facing the sidewalk where one can order and pick up items. A friendly lady running the show told me my drink would be ready in two minutes...wallah!! She wasn't kidding!!! My drink was ready in two minutes!!! ~ C5 - Rose Oolong Tea Salted Cream [SEA SALT CREAM] OH...so very well balanced! Not too sweet, like some other places. It didn't need any adjusting...like when some other places ask you for 50% sugar or 50% ice etc. Really good flavor; a balanced combination of Rose and Oolong Tea. The Boba was not hard or too chewy, soft and supple. Finally the Sea Salt Cream was also perfect!! Not too cheesy or creamy...just brilliant!! Can't wait to try other things on the menu...especially the WheelCakes!

Love local boba spots. The interior and logo scream "Quickly's-era traditional mom & pop boba", but the drinks are super "iNsTaGrAm AeStHeTiC", with matching quality to boot. Don't sleep on Tea Juice! I was pleasantly surprised to find great boba out in Redwood City. For COVID safety purposes, the staff wear masks & provide ample hand sanitizer. Service is speedy & courteous-- we ordered and received both (relatively complicated) drinks within 5 mins. Menu is a great combo between classic favorites and recent trends. OOLONG TEA SALTED CREMA (less ice, 75% sweet, with boba): If you're a fan of tea-heavy drinks like me, you'll love this. The oolong is richly earthy, but doesn't overpower the crema. With the drink leaning more sugary, I recommend lowering the sweetness level with your order. Boba was cooked well & lightly sweetened. SUPER FAMILY MILK TEA (less ice, 50% sweet): DEF sweet af here, wow. With red bean, boba, egg pudding, AND grass jelly, the drink will definitely run pretty sweet already-- at 50%, I found this a little overpowering. on the other hand, my bf, a sweet tooth at heart, loved it. Weird location that can be easily missed-- Tea Juice is between the main street & residential blocks. Had we not been actively searching for boba, we might've easily missed it. Would recommend making a stop here if you're in the area.

H6. Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk

My friends started posting photos of their boba drinks for the weekend making me want one too so... I did a quick search on Yelp and found Tea Juice. This place used to be called Tea Hub and I remember it being so-so so opted to try it again under a new name. Parking is pretty easy - a bunch of street parking with no meters. The inside was fairly clean and the worker wore a mask the whole time. I opted for their fresh brown sugar boba milk and it was ready in a couple minutes. First look - pretty impressive, the brown sugar was mixed thoroughly through the cup and it looked really promising. It wasn't too sweet and the amount given was more than enough to fill you. Only real issue was the boba wasn't chewy like fresh boba. Overall, worker was nice. Safety measures in place. Menu was easy to navigate. Don't have to pay for parking. Worth another trip?

Nice little find. My kids and I ordered their house boba milk tea and strawberry smoothie. My house boba was rich tasting. Heavier on the tea side than the milk side. Kids smoothie just right. Will be back again!

Salt & Pepper Calamari - Sooo good in smell and taste, crunchy texture, but overly seasoned!!
    Gabrielle D.

Cute & cozy, little boba shop- milkshakes, smoothies, super fruit teas, shaved ice, and boba snacks. It's also easy to miss this boba shop downtown! Sadly, even though everything was delicious, I did get "salt-sick" from the calamari, which prompted me to research the reviews New Cantonese Restaurant next door (they're connected and one woman managed both stores). Weekend Sunday, and all the boba places nearby are packed. It's so convenient that there are plenty of parking here and it was just us inside the store. Super relaxing and cute interior. The woman was very kind, the drinks and food came out super fast. Super Fruit Juice Green Tea - Fresh fruit of watermelon, melon, blood orange, orange, blueberry and mint. My favorite; cold and refreshing! Mango Shaved Ice - Creamy, Fruit Jelly on Top, Milky, and Flavorful. Calamari - I could tell it had Louisiana seasoning, which was doused in the entire to-go box. Smelt so good, just out of the fryer, crunchy on the outside, and chewy delicious squid! The problem was that it was so salty, and I love seasoning and spice so much, but it was too much for me and my Asian fiancé. I wouldn't order again because it made my stomach hurt from consuming that much salt and seasoning.

The location is a cozy corner in the wall. It's connected to a restaurant so understand the staff is doing both. The staff was very nice and the drinks all looked so good!! I went with the Taro Smoothie which was amazing. I'll be coming back to try the other drinks on the menu.

I was a little skeptical at first being that it was inside of a Chinese restaurant but the boba was really good, soft and chewy. We ordered the super family milk tea and omg it was MASSIVE!! It came with red bean, egg pudding, grass jelly, and boba. Definitely was big enough for 2-3 people.

    Mango Passionfruit Sparkling Juice
    Amy G.

Stopped by for a post-hike Mango Passionfruit Sparkling Juice, which was a refreshing drink for these days that seem to be transitioning all too quickly to summer. Aesthetically, all the drinks are beautiful! My juice seemed to glow in the sunlight. Flavor-wise, it tasted fresh and included real mango and passionfruit, including its crunchy seeds that added a pleasing texture. Still a tad sweet for my taste, but I do appreciate the fresh fruit ingredients. The drinks are also on the pricey side, ranging from $5-8 each. Tea Juice seems to be part of New Canton Restaurant, and doesn't have its own name displayed outside. From the drink pictures alone, one would picture a new hipster-y joint with artistic decor, but it's actually a very normal, homey looking food establishment. They have convenient covid friendly takeout windows for order and pickup.

Strawberry avocado smoothie I ordered first two times
    Amy C.

Their drinks are really good, fresh and unique definitely recommend them but just a disclaimer their Strawberry Avocado smoothie is not made consistently. The first two times I ordered it it was green blended with strawberries and strawberries on top with whipped cream. I ordered it for the 3rd time (with 2 months) and the only difference is I asked for no whipped cream. This time it just looked like a Strawberry smoothie so I was thrown off and thought she mistaken my order. She said it was and I told her the first two times I ordered it was green with strawberries on top. I really don't care how it looks all I'm saying is the drink should be made consistently. She said next time to ask for more avocado but when I ordered it the first two times I didn't make any special requests. I wasn't upset I was just saying they should be made consistent and she was just being defensive and rude. I'm glad I took a picture of how it looked the first two times. So take a picture to keep for reference in case they make your drink differently.

    Front signage - 09/15/2020
    Kai D.

This used-to-be another tea place called Tea Hub, you can still see Tea Hub's sign imprint outside. There's also some tables in front but I think it's mainly for the restaurant right next to it, seemed to be owned by the same person. Staff wore masks and gloves, and there's hand sanitizer available too. The staff who took my order is new, she admitted this and also struggled taking my order. She wasn't familiar how to use the card reader and had to go on the restaurant side to process payment. Their menu is pretty straightforward. I love how they have a good selection of toppings that aren't usually offered at other tea places such as blueberry, passion fruit, taro, and matcha boba. Ordered the following drinks below. Drinks were ready at a reasonable amount of time. Rose Oolong Tea Salted Cream (C5) with Taro Boba - drink wasn't cold, not enough ice - salted cream was a bit too cream cheese-y taste - we couldn't taste the taro much in the boba - rose buds were too much, bf struggled drinking since they're about the same size as the taro boba - but the tea itself is great, it wasn't too sweet Passion Fruit Smoothie (S2) with Passion Fruit Boba - I asked for passion fruit boba but got regular boba instead - regular boba was pretty good, it has the nice chewy texture and right sweetness - smoothie tasted perfect, not too sweet and has a nice flavor In reality, I'd like to give them a 3.5 star review instead of 4 star for the mistake and also with the Rose Oolong not being super awesome. With the cashier being new, and not sure how recent they've opened, I'd definitely give them another try and see if anything improves.

It's fucked up at all Only one person work at the restaurant I did wait for one hour to get my order And the employee is super super bad at all she doesn't even know how to deal with the costumers

Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk and Oolong Tea Salted Cream

Ummm...wow. I was not expecting to find such legit boba in this area. My friend and I were in the area and found this place via Yelp. When we stepped inside the shop, there was no one. It looks like they're connected to the Chinese restaurant next door? After ringing the bell, a woman came to take our order and was very quick to make our drinks. My friend got the Brown Sugar Fresh Boba Milk and I got the Oolong Tea Salted Cream. I have to preface this by saying that so far, my fav place for salted cream drinks has been Happy Lemon. I was expecting something similar, but holy moly. THIS PLACE BLOWS HAPPY LEMON OUT OF THE WATER. Not gonna lie, I struggled with the lid for a while before I could finally get it open to the point where I could even think of attempting to drink it at a 45 degree angle to get an equal amount of salted cream and drink. I ended up getting a mouthful of salted cream. In Happy Lemon's salted cream drinks, I guess they dilute the cream so that it pretty much starts dissolving in the drink right away. NOT THIS PLACE. The cream was so thick that I pretty much had to give up on trying to drink it the usual way because I just kept getting mouthfuls of salted cream. My friend was kind enough to go back for a straw so I could manually stir the cream into the tea. IT WAS DELICIOUS. The oolong tea flavor was more potent vs. most boba places and it was perfectly sweetened for my taste (I usually like it a little less sweet). This place is the bombdotcom and I'd totes come back here if I was ever in the area. Some of their other drinks and snacks (esp the wheelcakes - I don't really know what they are but they looked delicious) looked pretty tempting.

H6. Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk aka Tiger milk boba. Super YUMMY

This boba and drink shop is fantastic and parking is easy to find. There is outdoor seating and the shop is clean and modern. We love the H6. Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk aka tiger milk boba drink and drop by whenever I am close to the area. Definitely give this place a try and see what type of drink you end up loving. Staff is super friendly, nice, and follows all safety protocols.

Far from a blended smoothie. There is no ice flakes in them. I'll tell you that . Their cups are the cheapest cups too. I mean you sneeze, and your cup caves in.
