There's usually 1-2 staff manning this little shop. I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my drink, which is super impressive considering how long the lines can get. Drinks run very sweet; we like our drinks less sweet so we always get 25% sweetness, but it tastes equivalent to 100% sweet at other boba shops LOL TARO MILK TEA WITH BOBA: always our go-to order. Standard taro tea flavor, boba is chewy and has a touch of sweetness. THAI TEA: yummilicious ALMOND MILK TEA: hint of almond flavor, wish there was a stronger flavor MATCHA RED BEAN SMOOTHIE: at first, the drink tastes very icy and lacked flavor but once it melts a bit, the flavor is great! read more

My husband and I were in the area and tried out this spot for boba. We almost missed it since it's in the middle of the square, but honestly a good spot right by everything. The guy taking our order greeted us with a smile and was super friendly. He even offered water for our dog. I got the oolong with tapioca pearls and my husband got the mango shake with popping strawberry pearls. My drink was good! It hit the spot. This shop is just so delightful. Their prices are so fair and not overpriced like a lot of new, trendy boba shops. I paid just under $12 for 2 drinks (which I feel like is usually over 14 at other places) for me and a friend, and we loved it! I got an almond milk tea with boba at less sweet, and I wouldn't change a thing! The tea flavor was prominent, which is a good sign, and it was perfectly sweetened without overpowering the tea. The worker was so sweet, this little shop is worth appreciating! It's tucked away near the museum, so the shop itself didn't have seating out when we were there but there are lots of places around to sit and hangout or walk around downtown! So when I arrived after seeing the good reviews, I was a bit wary. But the owner seemed very friendly and cheery. I ordered my go-to comparison drink... Peach fruit tea. Peach is a light flavor so I can taste the tea flavor while still having a nice taste. I usually get the least sugar (25%) and less ice, so I can get more tea! I like it very much! Not as strong a tea taste as I normally like, but there is still a fragrant jasmine flavor. The peach wasn't too sweet either. All in all a nice drink. Add in the friendly face, I will definitely be back. Just be warned, parking is a pain! read more

When I arrived, I was initially a bit confused, and had a bit of trouble locating this place, until I realized it was an outdoor kiosk located right at the corner of Middlefield and Broadway. They appear to have a pretty exhaustive menu, and there was no line when I arrived in the middle of the week. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the Bay Area, and the gentleman inside was sincerely nice, and cracked jokes while I was checking out. The line grew quickly behind us with about 5or 6 people and there was only 2 people working but I could tell they were pros. They were fast, efficient and multitasking. It's a cute tiny joint- just a little stand literally- no frills or tables- but everything you need for a quick stop of boba or a fresh fruit drink- while enjoying the downtown area. This one is pretty good. The tea strength is slightly more on the mild side. Personally I prefer a slightly stronger tea flavor but this could work for others. I recommend 50% sweet and less ice. I was craving some boba when my bf suggested Cha time in RWC. The only Cha time I have ever had was in Chinatown so I thought I'd give it another try. This place is located in downtown right next to the Museum and old court house. Parking is hard to find, however I stayed in the car at the Chase nearby when he walked to get the boba. I really wanted a sea salt creama tea and they happened to have it however they call it mousse. I got an oolong creama tea with 30 % sugar and 30% ice. At a lot of locations, the 30% ice means nothing to them, they still load up on ice. So I have to give a big shout out that they didn't give me all that ice. The mousse, I loved it. I have it when people mix it for me I like to drink a bit of the mousse and work my way into the tea. They serve 2 different sizes - regular and large. A regular is a little under $4 whereas a large is around $4.35. I came here recently again and let me tell you - the man that works there is SO AMAZING! He always says "my dear", "easy", "okay" like talk about attitude and customer service. He makes the place deserve a 5 STAR. Absolutely love his energy! Definitely deserves a 5 star. read more

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much as I just had a terrible experience at another Boba in Walnut Creek the day before. What a pleasant surprise! They do not treat you like a number like most of the quick stop Boba places. The manager, James was super cool guy and believe it or not, he is so good and experienced that he seems to be able to read my mind as I was a little undeceive of what to get .
