This is a tiny boba spot in Sequoia Station next to where Site for Sore Eyes used to be. You order with a cashier who is behind a plastic wall. There is no seating and only about two or three customers can fit inside, but there is plenty of parking. The milk tea is ok, and pretty artificially flavored. I ordered the honeydew milk tea with boba and probably won't come back, but it's good to know this place is here.

Not bad! Peach mango black tea 8/10 - I will definitely opt for 75% sugar in the future - ok tea flavor and they definitely go heavy on the peach and mango syrup - great value! Jasmine milk tea 8/10 - very milky and creamy not so much tea but I don't mind it - it's very desserty and not as refreshing but I don't mind it - childhood milky flavor Overall, it's a hole in the wall with no seating. 2 baristas are there so if there's a line drinks will definitely take a while. Nothing much to say about the service but the drinks came out pretty decently fast. I would come back!

2.5 stars. Craving boba all week, Mom and I made a quick stop at Teatime on the afternoon of Saturday, August 26, 2023. Located in Redwood City's Sequoia Station, there is plenty of parking for patrons in the lot. As we walked up to the tea spot, I thought that there was a long line out their door. Upon arrival, though, we realized that the people loitering around the shop were the customers awaiting their drink orders. The venue is TINY. Maximum capacity for the room wherein you place your order can't be more than half a dozen persons (this explains why everyone was standing around outside). This place is solely for to-go orders as there is no seating available for eating and drinking. Printed 8" x 11" sheets of paper are taped to the wall to serve as the menu and jars along the clear window showcase most of the drink toppings (grass jelly was not shown anywhere). Mom ordered a Taro Milk Tea with boba which, to our surprise, was made from a powder and was completely dairy free. I ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea topped with boba and grass jelly. When I asked if they had oat milk, the dairy free milk was recommended for a better, more full-bodied drink, so I happily went with the suggestion. Our drinks were made very quickly. At first sip, we both noticed that the beverages were on the sweet side...which is when I realized that we weren't asked about preferred sweetness nor ice levels. After a few sips, I got used to the sweetness level, but did wish for a stronger Jasmine floral taste. The boba were perfectly chewy, though, so my craving was satisfied. Will we return? Sure, if we are already at the Sequoia Station and craving boba again. I wouldn't drive out specifically to go here, though.

Corner location next to where Max's used to be.

A pretty good place to get a refreshing Watermelon Fruit Freeze! I got mine with boba AND rainbow jelly. I always order something similar at every boba-type place so that I can compare them. Then I venture out to the bubble tea varieties, etc. This is a small walk-up window-type place, but I will come back again. Tea Time is nestled in the corner of the Sequoia Station Shopping Center. It is kind of weird that it does not come up on Yelp as the first choice even when I am literally in front of it. I always seem to get the Palo Alto location. The drinks can at times take longer than expected for a drink so it does miss a star for that. Employees don't seem very happy to be there nor do they display any smiling for the customers.

It's a tasty boba spot with unique flavors. Recently they've been making their drinks on the sweater side even when ask with 0% sugar. Their drink with fresh fruits are excellent. Service is pretty fast when ordering and receiving a drink. Excited to try other flavors next time. Note it's at Sequoia Station and it is a to-go only spot, so no place to sit.

Guava green tea

Got the guava green tea here. Good fruit flavor but the tea could have been a little more strong. The tiramisu tea is also good. Definitely more dessert than tea.

Stopped by Teatime the other day while picking something up at the nearby Safeway located in the same plaza. Found this place on Yelp, and discovered that it's rather hidden all the way at the corner of the shopping complex, on the side opposite of Safeway. The store itself is very small, so you basically wait in line outside while 1 person goes in, orders, and steps back out to wait for their order. The staff was very friendly, and I opted for my usual Passion Fruit w/ Green Tea and boba. The drink itself definitely did not disappoint, and was very refreshing and full of flavor. The boba balls themselves were nice and chewy, and not all clumped together like at some other places. Although I don't live near RWC, if I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely make sure to make a stop at Teatime!

Black milk tea with boba
YJ L.

Ordered a classic black milk tea with boba, no adjustments. Super sweet, but that's how I like my boba! It's a super tiny storefront (can fit one party at a time at most), and their menu is smaller than most other shops I've been to. I like to get drinks that are "special" to that particular store, but Teatime didn't seem to have any drinks like that. Definitely worth coming back if I'm in the area, but not a place I'd go out of my way to get boba from. Maybe if they had a unique pitch or drink. As a local stop, it's a 5/5; for non-locals, I'm sure the boba shops in your area are just as good.

Horchata Snow with boba and aloe 25% sweetness Strawberry Freeze with boba 25% sweetness
Elle G.

My favorite boba spot !! They have everything here from classic milk teas to, green teas, fruit teas, fruit freezes and unique drinks. My all time favorite is the horchata snow but I don't like anything too sweet so I get 25% sweetness with aloe and boba they have like 12 different options of jelly's. Service is great but this place tends to get busy and typically only two staff are working at once so if you see line expect to wait a few minutes. Also it's a very small place there's no seating it's just a walk through to go atmosphere. I went today and ordered the horchata snow and the strawberry freeze both equally great and I had my drinks within 5 min of ordering. Be patient when they are busy its worth it if you want to enjoy some delicious boba tea !

Tiramisu milk tea
Sophia B.

Good boba tea in a conveniently tempting location. I usually get a medium tiramisu milk tea with boba ($6.95). It's creamy and a nice twist on classic milk tea. The boba is consistent and pleasant to chew.

This smoothie doesn't taste like avocado or mango. It's gross.
Claire M.

We ordered 5 drinks today..I had an avocado mango smoothie with boba....our drinks tasted powdered and artificial flavor. I couldn't taste avocado or mangoes. More than anything, I hate the lingering artificial flavor on my tongue! I wasn't sure why this place has good reviews.

3.5 stars rounding up I was sad they didn't have lavender milk tea so I got my next favorite which is rose milk tea Yay to adjusting the sweetness It taste just like t4! I was pretty impressed 24oz only and around $4 I'd recommend if you're in the area

Fine grounded black sesame but still a little grit for texture. Very strong natural black sesame taste. Matcha roll - 10/10 stunning flavor. Taste just like raw ceremonial grade matcha. Not excessively sweet a bit more on the strong matcha flavor less sugar. Delicious. Very strong flavor though. One roll is enough Coffee roll - 9/10 not bad standard mocha cake similar to paris baguette cappuccino cake. Classic mocha flavor Pink white sesame - 7/10 not my favorite. White cream is the white sesame and the pink is an artificial strawberry flavor. Overall taste like pocky.

Decor is cute but sleek, vibes are calm, bar seating by window and a few small tables with seats. Ordering is fast at the kiosk front desk which doesn't seem to have a cashier. Lots of tasty drink options with milk choices and customizable sweetness and ice level - much appreciated! Cakes were delicious and filled with freshly whipped cream. We had the hojicha and biscoff ones. Not incredibly busy - a lot of orders were takeout. Cons: A lot of things were out of stock by 1pm but maybe this is due to Mother's Day. Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order). Parking is very difficult- it's on el Camino so the cars are unforgiving if you're trying to parallel park, and the road parallel by a block is not much better. It has an alley and a very cramped space in the back for a lot. Expect to walk.

However, there is plenty of parking across the street at the school, which I presume, was ok to park in over the weekend. The seating area is outside, with plenty of seats, chairs, lounges, etc. Good for roaming toddlers. The service was also warm and fast. They were super nice and humoured my toddler who wanted to order by himself. Cappuccino was really good - had nice latte art as well. The pastries are from Onki, and taste amazing. The kouige aman was my favorite - crispy and flaky, and just the right amount of sweetness. The almond croissant was also really good - crispy and flaky as well, and stayed that way even hours after we ordered (we brought it home). My kid really enjoyed his chocolate chip cookie as well. Nearby, there are tennis courts at the school, and the kids liked watching after our cafe outing. Looking forward to coming back again.

I found their latte bitter and it was not hot enough. The cold brew was equally bitter. Their pastries were delicious but they are brought in from a bakery and not made in house. It was limited on time (I think you can sign up to use it for 2+ hours and there were few outlets available unless you were lucky enough to sit at a seat next to one.
