I love me some good coffee!! Found this place randomly while visiting and glad I stumbled upon it. The line was a little long but it moves pretty quick. There's a few tables and chairs to enjoy your drink and/or pastry and it's shaded. The patio is pet friendly. We ordered the iced filter coffee and it was nice, strong and smooth. We also got their seasonal flavor orange cream latte and it was so delicious. The orange was light in flavor but enough to taste the orange notes and the consistency with the whole milk was decadent. I love this location! I came on Easter Sunday in the afternoon and I was shocked they were open! There were people sitting outside and a couple people in line, but it moves super fast! There are pastries from The Midwife & the baker, some had run out but they still had some choices. I just got an ice coffee, you add your own milk that is off to the side. I also like how there is simple syrup you can add and some yummy looking thick sugar. I was in need of coffee on the way and happened to find Saint Frank Coffee! I have tried Saint Frank Coffee before, so when I saw that Menlo Park had a location I immediately knew I had to stop by. I ordered the Café Miel and the Honey Lavender Latte and both were excellent. The flavors were well balanced and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The drinks tasted very smooth and high quality, just like I remembered from their San Francisco location. The baristas were super friendly and welcoming, which made the quick stop even better. The shop is conveniently located right by the Caltrain station, making it a perfect place to grab a coffee if you are commuting or just passing through the area. There is no indoor seating, but there is plenty of outdoor seating. With the weather being so nice this time of year, it was actually perfect to sit outside, relax, and enjoy the coffee. A lot of my friends said this place is one of their favorites but everytime I come by, the line is super long. I finally committed to the line and I will say, it goes by really fast. You order in one window and when you go around the corner to pay, they have your drink ready. That being said, my husband and I ordered flat whites and they were amazing. Stopped by Saint Frank Coffee in Menlo Park and wow, easily one of the best coffee spots I've ever tried in my life. The quality is next level. My dad got their coffee flight and I was excited to try it since it was my first time experiencing one, brewed coffee, iced coffee, cappuccino, and espresso, and every single one was impressive. I personally got the Café Miel and it was incredible, smooth with that perfect balance of sweetness and coffee. You can really taste the precision in every drink. The place itself is small, but the long line says everything about how good it is. Only downside for me was no real indoor seating, especially since it was a cold day, but if I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely stopping by again! read more

I visited Saint Frank Coffee on a Sunday morning and found it pretty busy! There's no interior at this location - just a window to order at and some (dog-friendly) outdoor seating. I didn't see many seasonal specials, so I chose the Cafe Miel (latte with honey and cinnamon) and a Ginger Molasses Cookie. Both came out quickly and the staff members were friendly. This place clearly gets plenty of regulars because they knew many of the patrons by name. The Cafe Miel was pretty tasty and strong, but didn't have the strongest flavor. I really loved the Ginger Molasses Cookie, which was from The Midwife and The Baker. The texture was perfectly soft and chewy. Overall, I think this is more of a spot for coffee-connoisseurs interested in trying different beans, rather than a craft beverage-lover like me. Would still return though! read more

We came here for their coffee flight which was my first time trying something like this. The place is located near the Caltrain station and they only had outdoor seating. It was actually pretty packed for the time we went as it was one hour before closing. It's a nice place to chill and relax but it might be better to go in the spring as opposed to us going in the winter. The baristas were all pretty nice and answered all questions about the coffee flights. They will tell you the order to drink it in and I would follow the order. Such an adorable quaint little spot! I almost passed it up, and I'm so glad I found this!! I got a coffee flight, almond croissant, and ginger molasses cookie! The barista was incredibly friendly and outgoing, and the gentleman waiting behind him was also very patient as I got a coffee flight, and the barista gave me all the details regarding all four of the coffees, two of them were similar one was iced, and then hot, but all of them had so many different notes and flavors. I love this coffee flight!! I will definitely be back again!! The molasses ginger cookie was so spicy and perfectly soft with a little bit of chew, I loved it!! To top things off and actually started raining and it was so pretty to sit outside with the umbrella overhead and thank goodness I had a pee coat on, but I was drenched!! This has nothing to do with their coffee. This review is based solely on service only. For those that have been to this particular establishment, they have two open windows. The first window closest to the street is where you order your drink of choice. The second window is the cashier. This is where you pay. Check the photo out. They are not directly next to each other. Window two is front of the person in the grey shirt. Pretty simple process. I appreciate simple. Today, I went simply to buy a bag of coffee beans. There was a long line of people at window 1 to order their preferred coffee drinks but no line for the cashier at window 2. I grabbed a bag of beans out on display and went to the cashier window to pay. I was told to wait in the other line. Lets think about this... I am going to wait in a line where people place an order for a drink... to not order a drink, only to walk to the cashier to pay for a bag of beans. Stopped by Saint Frank Coffee in Menlo Park several times now, and it's become one of my favorite little coffee spots. There's no indoor area (just a walk-up window and outdoor seating under the trees - super cute by the way ) but that's part of its charm. It's cozy, dog-friendly, and always smells like freshly roasted beans. I have tried a few drinks here; the Cafe Miel, chai latte, and their pumpkin spice latte, and they all have their own pros! Their drinks are consistently smooth with just the right coffee to milk ratio. They have good pastries selection too, and they go by fast! Service is quick and friendly even when there's a line, and the quality is good.Thankfully its not too sugary, which I appreciate. Away from the busy thoroughfare of El Camino, this modern coffee kiosk is located in a beautiful courtyard located right across from the Menlo Park CalTrain Station. Outdoor seating is available under the canopy of Sycamore trees and California oak trees in modern cobble stone tile pavers and gravel. I was really excited to try my first coffee flight. The flight was presented by the barista in 4 on shot glasses on a wood tray; starting with a shot of espresso, piccolo, drip filtered coffee and lastly iced filtered coffee. I forget the name of the exact source and blend - although the initial encounter is acidic, a full bodied flavor takes over and lingers in the palette in a beautiful balance. Saint Frank is one of my favorite coffee spots. My favorite latte is the maple pine. Unfortunately that is a seasonal flavor so it is not currently there. However, the beans are so good that it can be paired with pretty much anything. There usually is a line but it goes very quick. You order at the window then walk around the side to pay. I know another cafe/coffee window serving midwife bakery, and they at least heat up the food to make it edible. I am not one to complain if something was just ok but honestly have the croissant cold made it inedible. My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try this spot but since seating is outside only, we waited until the weather warmed up. Got there around 9:30, only 3 people in line. After 10am the line was pretty long and started going down the sidewalk. Outside seating area is very cute but can be limited for how popular it is. We tried the ham & cheese croissant and the chocolate croissant. Pretty good but wish they were heated (maybe they can do that if you ask). For drinks my boyfriend got the competition cappuccino and a special pour over coffee. He was very excited about both and loved them. I had a chai latte which was also good. Unfortunately I accidentally spilled almost the entire thing all over me. I went to order another one and the staff was so nice to remake it at no charge! I'm not a coffee connoisseur so this was the right amount of darkness, richness & sweet for me. You order in line, pay, & they make the proper coffee drinks right in front of you. When the drinks are ready, grab them from the side window for a sit down, and enjoy your coffee & pastries. There were a few small white round tables outside and most were taken when we got there. Don't underestimate this kiosk cafe! It's like the little engine that could! The fastest service. You order and the barista starts making it. By the time you get around the corner to the register to pay, and then you pay, the other barista is already pouring your drink into a cup and it's ready to go! Fresh! Delicious cafe Miel. They make their own in house non dairy Mac/almond milk. Yum! And they always have these special unique drinks. Small menu, but a good menu. Cute coffee stand located behind the Caltrain station. It's a bit hidden from El Camino so you have to drive or walk down Alma to reach the stand! There is a lot of outdoor seating and it feels nice to sit outside on a nice sunny day! I got a mocha and asked for less sweet. It was a little less sweet than I was expecting but they had some simple syrup outside so I used that and it helped. I think next time I would get regular levels to see if it's to my liking! I feel like this place keeps getting better. The baristas here take their craft seriously, which means you see a wider range of more challenging designs peering up at you in your latte art. I'm generally a standard cappuccino person, but Saint Frank's has turned me to their specialty drinks as well. I especially like their limited-supply competition cup (cap made with a special blend of milk, a2 milk powder, and a touch of coconut powder) and their cafe miel (an 8oz latte with house made cinnamon honey syrup - I prefer "not too sweet" and this hits that mark perfectly). Hard to beat an excellent espresso drink here, enjoyed slowly under the dappled shade of trees and wafts of jasmine in their little courtyard. read more

I also love their vanilla late and honey latte. All of the baked goods are from Midwife and the baker and are delicious. The pumpkin muffin is insane. Saint Frank's location is great-- small spot near downtown Menlo. Even though it's small and they only have one person taking orders, the line moves really quickly. This is a place across from the Caltrain station and very close to Stanford. Only outdoor seatings and sometimes it gets crowded and you need to spot a table whenever someone leaves. Sometimes it gets windy too. We ordered lavender latte and coffee flights. Love the lavender latte because it tastes natural and not artificial. This was the very first spot I went post partum on my fist solo outing with baby. Parking was pretty easy out front on a Friday late morning. I ordered an iced cafe miel with oat milk and a hot honey lavender latte to go for my husband. It wasn't particularly easy to see the menu. I actually had to look it up on my phone as the person working wasn't particularly kind or helpful. With that said, I really liked my coffee, I'm a huge fan of anything cinnamon. My husband also liked his so the coffees were good, albeit very pricy. Overall, it's a solid spot to meet up with friends, but if you are hoping for a friendly server who will make a recommendation or even just reciprocate a smile or "have a nice day" your way, this isn't the spot. read more

This is such a cute outdoor outpost if weather is nice - it gives you a different feeling than going to a standard coffee shop, even though it's right across the street from Caltrain. It also is a bit sentimental for me because it reminds me of when I lived in San Francisco and frequented their Russian Hill storefront. That said, my matcha latte with almond milk was not amazing - it wasn't the quality of pour though, it was just the almond milk itself, which is maybe why they checked with me if I was ok with macadamia nut being in their milk. I saw everyone in front of me order the same thing and it seemed like the best thing on the menu: Their orange cream latte and the cafe miel. Perhaps it was just an accident, but the color of mine and my bf's latte was comically pale compared to what the people ahead of us and behind us got -- yes, I heard their orders, and yes, they got the same thing. Also, it straight up tasted like milk. Why, you might ask? Because we pretty much got a cup of milk. I was surprised to see how popular/well loved this spot is. I wanted to bring my wife back a hot coffee drink, so when I paid, I asked if it would be OK to pay for it and then ask for the drink to be made before I left. He said no problem. When the server brought me my drink, she made a speech to me about how it isn't their policy to put drinks "on hold" like that in advance, but because it wasn't busy, she was going to make an exception. Umm, first, is it THAT big a deal? Secondly, if you don't want to do it, just say so in the first place. Don't make me pay for your expensive coffee and then go this speech for me about how I was being a pain in the neck. Anyway, I won't be going back. Ever. read more
