I stopped by Ralph's hoping to recreate the memory of the latte I had at their New York location. Unfortunately, this cafe is much smaller, has a more limited selection, and they don't even carry the sandwich I was looking forward to. I ordered my usual iced vanilla latte, but the vanilla flavor was surprisingly weak. It was so flavorless that I had to ask for an extra pump just to taste it. Even after the second pump, the drink just didn't hit. The overall experience was underwhelming as well. The staff was polite but fairly quiet; they simply made the drinks without much interaction or warmth. Ralph's is the kind of place you visit for the ambience and aesthetics, but great service should still be part of the experience. Compared to the New York location, this one falls short in almost every way. I'd skip it and visit one of the many other coffee shops in the shopping center instead. Cheers. read more

The line for Ralph's Coffee is amazingly long on weekends. We saw the line wasn't so bad on a weekday. There were a few people ahead of us that were all trying out Ralph's like us. We saw affogato on the menu and that was what we ordered. I did ask what was popular and it's the special on their placard and the soft serve. It's a nice clean area. Seating is limited inside and out because there's so many people. It was nice outside and we got a little table. They serve the soft serve for the affogato and the espresso separately in two cups with a wooden spoon. Soft serve is exactly that. It didn't taste different from other vanilla soft serve. Espresso was a bit bitter not smooth. I poured it over the soft serve and yum. It was good, not exceptional. If the line isn't bad and I'm wanting a coffee drink, I would be back. read more

My daughter and I recently visited Ralph's Coffee at Stanford Shopping Center and had a wonderful experience. We loved the coffee, and the chocolate croissant was delicious. The only small suggestion is that the croissant was a little soft and soggy--we would have preferred it to be a bit crispier. Coffee was surprisingly decent! I ordered the salted honey cream top latte ($9.50) and husband wanted the cold brew ($6.50). His was sold out though, so ended up getting a refund for the drink. We waited a while for my drink and it seemed like people after us were getting their orders, so I checked in. Either they forgot the order or misplaced the ticket, but they offered me a complimentary soft serve to make up for it, which I gladly accepted. I asked for my drink to be less sweet, and it was perfect. Usually drinks with cold foams are way too milky or sweet, so I was pleasantly surprised. The soft serve was also really good. I got the twist with a blend of vanilla and espresso. The store is super cute, but bathrooms were a bit dirty when I visited. read more

The store is connected and was closed off by a stanchion. All the outdoor and indoor seating was taken but by the time we got our coffee, seats opened up outside. Service was fast. My iced vanilla latte is good but hello?! I never had a Ham & Cheese croissant with ham LOADED. Wow!! Great place to chill. But I recommend coming here early. Ralph's Coffee is one of my go to's whenever I'm in a city that has a location. I was super excited to finally get one in the Bay and had to check them out while I was at Stanford Mall. The line wasn't too long and moved quickly despite only having one cashier/register. Immediate red flag: the cashier and staff were not friendly. Unsure if it was because of the busyness of the store or what but I didn't appreciate the attitude of the cashier and lack of communication from the baristas. They were all chitchatting amongst themselves and would slam the drinks down hard at the counter and walk away. I ordered an iced latte with regular milk, decaf and 2 pumps of vanilla (usually they put 4 pumps). I definitely think they put more than 2 because it was borderline too sweet. The espresso flavor was almost nonexistent, a stark contrast to what I'm used to for Ralph's standards elsewhere. The cups were also standard plastic with a generic sleeve when they usually have branded merch. Not a big deal but just an observation. Pretty poor experience today and very disappointed in one of my usual favorite spots. read more

Ralphs coffee was all the rage recently and I had to try it out to see if it was real. This cafe is attached to the Ralph Lauren store in Stanford Mall and is in a very tiny space with about 4-5 tables inside and outside each. I went here on a weekday so there was not a line (thankfully!). I went with the most popular drink - The Salted Honey Cold Foam Latte with oat milk, however the cold foam top was not non-dairy and it tasted very very milky like it almost overpowered the entire drink so I was not a big fan of it. I have heard that the draft oat latte is pretty good but I don't think this is a place that I will go a second type :) This visit was purely due to the hype and to check out the place and interiors. It is a Ralph Lauren cafe so it is obviously very expensive and they are making it attractive with the green gingham and polo bear logo/ graphics. PS - this is definitely not the right place to visit if you are looking for a laptop session. It is pretty packed usually and buzzing with family/ dogs/ kids. But it would be the right kind of place for a quick coffee break if you are shopping in Stanford Mall :) read more

I made it to the grand opening of Ralph's Coffee in Palo Alto and had the best time. I enjoyed an espresso and a chocolate cookie, which made for the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. The espresso was smooth and bold. The grand opening atmosphere was exciting, and it was especially fun to attend my first ribbon-cutting ceremony. Wishing the team much success in Palo Alto. Is this a super cute spot w a nice vibe? Yes! Is the coffee mind blowing or worth a super long wait? Imo no lol. Tried Ralph's last week to see if it was worth the hype - there was a line out the door when we arrived but it moved pretty fast, we waited for less than 10 min before placing our order. The cashier (Ericka) was very nice & customer service was a 10/10. The interior was super cute & they had some nice merch, somewhat limited seating inside / outside (though we did snag a seat outside). I ordered the salted honey latte w cold foam & my husband got the draft oat latte. I'd give mine a 4/5 - I enjoyed it & the cold foam was good but nothing insane or super unique. I'd give his a 3.5/10 - strong (in a good way) oat flavor and overall nice but not stand out. I love that these designers are expanding from apparel and now catering to our caffeine habits. I'm seeing a lot of retailers following the recipe that Nordstrom had done by offering shoppers with it's own in-house cafe. It's welcoming and a great way to add to the allure of your shopping experience. Ralph Lauren did just that by designing a cafe that feels like you're walking into someone's personal kitchen. The countertops, the tables each adorned with it's own bouquet of flowers, the deep green tones throughout - it's definitely well designed. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and stood in line for roughly 15 minutes so the wait wasn't that long. I ordered a latte and my husband got a flat white. We thought it was alright. Considering there are a ton of cafes and coffee roasters in the Bay Area this definitely would not compare. This is pretty much your standard mall coffee but there are way better options at Stanford mall or even university Ave. We brought our pup and sat inside. There is a time limit on the table but not a lot of people stuck around that long anyways. This is a relatively new coffee shop . It is located next store to the clothing store Ralph Lauren. The space inside and outside is very aesthetically pleasing. The colors and decorations are very cute . The is a great place to meet with friends and chat . There is a small sign on each table ( no lap top and please limit on the table to 45 minutes so others may also enjoy sitting ) We came on a weekday around 5 pm . The line was not long compared to weekends. We got a hot latter and an iced tea lemonade. The drinks are ok but not amazing. I hope they can improve their taste beyond so many coffee shops around . There is a gift shelf section and the merchandises are very cute . The premium outlet mall in Livermore has some of the cute gift items and they got sales from time to time . The interior is very aesthetic with nice wood seating and elegant framed photographs. I love how everything is a dark green and they offer a cute Ralph's car shaped punch card. The drinks/treats are pretty good but a bit pricey: Honey Cream Top Latte ($9.50), Mocha ($8), and Vanilla Ice Cream ($8). The coffee quality is good. Also, Ralph's offers a 10% discount for bringing your own reusable cup. After having the best coffee of my life at Ralph's in NYC, I had to give their Palo Alto location a try. The coffee absolutely lived up to expectations--incredible quality and just as good as what I had in New York. The service wasn't great, but on the bright side, the space wasn't super busy thanks to the soccer game going on, which made for a nice, relaxed spot to enjoy a drink. Finally got to try the first Ralph's Coffee in the Bay Area! I've had Ralph's Coffee many times whenever I'm in NYC, and my go to drink is always the Draft Oat Latte. I was really excited to have a local Ralph's coffee! I enjoy their NYC and Chicago locations, but I was honestly disappointed by my experience. I've come here on 3 occasions, and they only had cold foam once. If that's the case, they should remove their sign that advertises the special drink with cold foam. Even without the cold foam, their lattes are good/ you can tell they use quality beans. Their pastries are underwhelming. The croissants are soggy and don't have the crunch or flakiness of a quality croissant. The cookie was also nothing special. The interior is small, but clean and vibrant. I absolutely love the aesthetic and decor. The staff are friendly and make drinks very quickly! Items overall are on the pricer side. Even though the pastries were a disappointment, I am interested in coming back to try the soft serve. Hopefully things will be more consistent as we move away from opening day. read more

Visited Ralph's Coffee on a Sunday around 2:40 PM and waited about 45 minutes for a table, so definitely expect a wait during peak hours. The café itself is small, but very clean, cute, and aesthetically pleasing. It's connected to the Ralph Lauren store, which adds to the overall experience. We ordered the latte, iced salted cream honey latte, and a pain au chocolat -- all were really good. The regular latte had a strong coffee flavor without being bitter, and the salted cream honey latte had the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee. The pastry paired well with both drinks and had the right amount of chocolate. I also ended up buying one of their caps for around $60. They had branded beanies, mugs, thermoses, hats, and other items that made the experience feel a little more unique. We got lucky and found a table inside, but seating definitely feels like pure luck. I do wish they only allowed customers to grab tables after ordering. The maximum allotted time at tables is 45 minutes. One thing we really appreciated was that it's dog friendly. We brought our very small dogs and also saw a medium-sized dog inside during our visit. Staff were friendly, there's a restroom available for customers, and overall the atmosphere felt relaxed. Once seated, it's a nice place to sit back and enjoy your coffee and treats for a while. Super cute Ralph's Coffee storefront here in Northern California! My friend and I decided to check out Ralph's on a Sunday morning around 11 AM, several days after their grand opening. It was busy with a line; I'd say about 20 people ahead of us. Our total wait time was 1 hour and 20 minutes -- understandable. While standing in line, the store had employees bring samples of their Kouign-amann to patrons waiting, which I thought was a very kind gesture considering the wait. ORDERING/CUSTOMER SERVICE The interior is tastefully decorated and exudes a welcoming atmosphere. Naturally, I expected nothing less from Ralph. The staff at the counter was very friendly and efficient in managing our orders. I inquired about purchasing merchandise and whether I could pay next door, at the RL clothing store attached. Several employees noticed my question and clearly explained that I could check out using a POS system while waiting, eliminating the need to rejoin the line. I ended up buying a charming RL mug with 'Palo Alto' on it as a keepsake. DRINKS - Iced Dirty Chai Latte: I substituted this drink with oat milk, and it was perfect. The drink was balanced and so good. - Iced Latte: My friend ordered this with oat milk and enjoyed it very much. Lines tend to boggle people's minds as they inquire if it's any good or loudly express how "it's not that good" to the people waiting in line but as always I like to form my own opinion. We came on a Friday around lunch time and it looked like a short line but the wait was over one hour long. When it was our turn to order it was fast and seamless. I ordered a honey cream top latte and a cold brew with a splash of milk. While waiting for my order we noticed that the coffee being used is La Colombe. Our drinks took about 10 minutes as the line of workers busily put orders together. There was no plastic lids and had to be refilled so we could cover our drink. We were able to find seats so we enjoyed our drinks inside. The honey latte was very sweet by default. The cold brew tastes like one of those canned La Colombe coffees. The space inside and outside is very aesthetically pleasing. It's a very cute area to enjoy a drink with friends. Few tables inside and outside. Everyone is hustling to get a place to sit. One of the things I noticed is drinks tend to stay out unattended in the open with no lid on while the other drinks for that order are being made. The area where drinks are put for customer pick up is very small. Everyone is huddled up waiting to hear their name. The line takes up a lot of space on the walkway outside the shop and is pretty long for busy. We waited over an hour in line and the line was not as long as I imagine it can be. The experience is cute and the service was pleasant. The coffee drinks were not memorable enough to return. read more

Checked out Ralph's Coffee after hearing the buzz. They just opened at the Stanford Shopping Center, so I get that they're still working things out. There was a line when I got there, but it actually moved pretty fast. They have a QR code posted outside so you can look at the menu while you wait, which was helpful. Got an iced latte and honestly, it tasted pretty watered down. Not terrible, just not something I'd come back for. Also tried the triple chocolate chunk cookie. It was $7 and kind of small... I was expecting something a bit more substantial or chunky with chocolate, but it was flat and grainy. I was at least expecting a more memorable flavor for the price, but it didn't hit. Overall, probably not worth waiting in line for right now. If there's no wait, it's fine to check out, but I wouldn't go out of my way. Stopped by around 4pm on a friday and there were about 20 people in line. It moved fairly quickly and the drinks came out even faster. I had a hard time deciding so I ordered both their oat milk latte on tap and their special salted honey cream top latte. The salted honey top was exceptionally good, however the rest of the drink was way too sweet for my liking. The oat latte to me had almost no coffee taste at all, when I got home I ended up mixing the two drinks together. The space itself is very clean but can feel a tad claustrophobic. There are about four small tables inside and a few out front as well. They have a nice merch wall inside with a separate worker handling payment so you don't have to stand in the long line if you aren't getting a drink. A lot of people were ordering the coffee soft serve, will have to try that next time. read more

I had fun checking out the opening of Ralph's Coffee attached to the Ralph Lauren shop at Stanford Shopping Center. I didn't have to wait in line too long since my friend did the hard work of arriving early - highly recommend! Once we got through the doors, Polo Bear greets you for your photo op. I'll definitely be back with my son for a cute photo with the life sized bear. The menu was what you would expect at a coffee shop. I tried the iced salted cream honey latte which was a nice afternoon treat, but a little too sweet for me. In addition to the standard coffee bar options, there are a few treats including soft serve ice cream and pastries. I'll have to try their chocolate cookie at some point. Even though the cafe was packed, the staff were on top of everything including restocking the Palo Alto exclusive RL merch and keeping things clean. I am officially the first 10th customer for this morning's grand opening! They opened the doors @ 10am and there was already a long line. The staff was dressed to impress for today's big day. They all look like they came out of a magazine. I will say, they did open a little after 10am and also had a few issues within their cashier system but that's the usual case for grand openings. I believe they will clean up quick. Before I begin my review, Ralph's coffee is NOT their official roast; they are using beans from La Colombe Coffee from Philadelphia! They have several coffee shops in LA for those in the west coast and the rest are in the east coast. I highly recommend visiting a location and trying their coffee! The coffee shop is just like the Newport location but better. There is an outdoor seating area in addition to the 4-5 tables inside the cafe. Because it's a grand opening, I didn't expect the baristas to be on point or the service, but they did a pretty good job this morning. There were about four managers on site making sure the baristas were running things smoothly. They also checked on customers and made sure orders were read and served properly. It definitely helped a lot because of course; there is pressure. I'd like to thank Tommy, one of the top guys, for being friendly and giving us a great introduction to his position and feel for the coffee shop. He treated us like family and made sure our drinks were tasty. I ordered the new salted caramel cold foam latte which was bitter and bland at first but the whole time, the lid was blocking the experience. To me, the coffee drinks should be served without the lid so that people can drink properly and taste the entire layer of the coffee drink. If people want a lid, there should be a case full of stacked lids for people to just grab and go. The mocha was also pretty good; it has a nice authentic chocolate taste and not that generic stuff. Expect drinks to range anywhere between $6 - $9. I am excited to have Ralph's here in the Bay especially right where I work! I can't wait to come back and just relax inside the coffee shop while enjoying a nice cup of espresso. I'll be back! read more

Ralph's Coffee in Palo Alto is a new addition to Ralph's collection, and I just have a chance to visit it recently. Have to say my first impression is that it has very luxurious interior, and the store looks so aesthetic with a white and green theme, and a signature bear mascot at the front door. The store was right next to Ralph Lauren if you want to go shopping after. They have a few coffee, tea drinks and bakery options, but I only try salt honey cold foam latte, the new seasonal drink. Drink was okay, a bit pricey but I wished I lower the sugar, because mine was like a sugar bomb. Nevertheless, drinks were never their strength to begin with, so let just focus on how pretty the store looks. The cutest little coffee shop I've ever come across as I went to check it out today! I ordered the popular salted iced honey latte with a croissant and it tasted rich creamy and delicious overall. If you're a coffee lover this definitely a good choice to get when you come here. I would say it has strong coffee taste so I would recommend something else if you're not a huge fan of coffee. I was surprised at how small the actual coffee shop was. There was two tables outside. It was a bit cold and the line started at the door. We ordered a vanilla latte and a hot chocolate. The decor is beautiful like the brand. It is small so you're just standing around. They do sell some items there like hats and coffee mugs but hard to see since everyone was standing in front of there. When you finally do get a seat you're literally almost sitting next to someone else table. We finally got the coffee and it was burnt. Aesthetically the place is made for Instagram.
