Matcha Plover and blackberry almond pastry- Yumm
    Kay O.

This was my first time at this particular coffee shop, and goodness, didn't make a great impression!! I love the quaint little feel of the neighborhood as well as a beautiful outdoor spacious seating area. There were a bunch of flower vignettes nearby so everything smelled delicious! The barista serving were very patient with me since I could not figure out what I wanted, but ended up settling on one of their specialty Matcha drinks! I had to try one of their pastries, and I'll definitely be back next week!!

A stop to Andytown is a must whenever I'm back in the Bay! Between you and me, I go more-so for their unbeatable breakfast sandwich... but their coffee is pretty darn good too! The Original Breakfast Sando is made to order their on house made bread and features a soft egg, ham, and cheese. So simple, yet done so well and perfected. A must must try! P.S. be sure to ask for some hot sauce on the side. As for their drinks, I got an Iced Americano with a hat on top- solid. I love adding a hat to any drink I get from here for some extra sweetness and creaminess. It's their house made whipped cream and trust me, it's unlike any other whipped cream you've had before.

I was so excited to move within a short distance of an Andytown Coffee Roasters location! I first visited on a Tuesday afternoon, when it was half empty. The interior was cute with pink accents, a small mural, and limited indoor seating (they do have more table outside though). They had a small menu of seasonal lavender drinks, so I had to get the Iced Candied Lavender Latte. This was phenomenal! I've had many lavender lattes, but this one was the best of the bunch. The flavor was so strong and I loved the dollop of house-made whipped cream with candied lavender sprinkled on top. I couldn't get it out of my head and ended up returning for another one two days later. I also tried the Jalapeño Cornbread Muffin, which was tasty and surprisingly filling. The staff members were friendly and the ambiance was pleasant and peaceful. Will be retuning for more seasonal drinks!

    Soda Farl (do not recommend)

Checked out Andytown as it's all over SF but also was recommended by an influencer that I adore. I ordered a Brown Sugar Iced Latte with a Soda Farl (buttered toast). I was sold at buttered toast but was immediately let down as I later googled Soda Farl. A thick flattened bread that just does not taste good. I was hoping to get a thick sourdough slice with butter. This just didn't cut it. The latte, on the other hand, was smooth and decadent. I just wish they would carry other syrup flavors as I am sure they would make an awesome vanilla latte. They have ample seating outside of shop. All in all, good vibes throughout the shop (except the blonde cashier who assisted me and when questioned about syrups, I received the driest response.). Cheers.

They do NOT charge for dairy free milks!!! Easy going spot in Menlo Park with a variety of items on the menu. We got the matcha latte and iced latte, plenty of caffeine and the ambiance was nice interior and outside plenty of seating.

While I'm sure the coffee is good, I was quite satisfied with my matcha latte (hot, with a "hat"). On cold fall morning, t'was quite nice. Only way it could have been better is if I was wearing a quarter zip.

I know that my review is going against a lot of people. This was just not my cup of coffee. The store is cute. Walking in, there were people and people were coming in and out with their drinks. I had never been before and I looked at reviews and figured that I'd try their signature drink, Original Snowy Plover. At first, I thought it wasn't bad, but then as I kept drinking, I could understand why people may have enjoyed this drink, but I don't think sparkling water in my coffee is for me. My brain cannot comprehend sparkling water with coffee. I'd like to come back and try something else off of their menu when I'm nearby again.

Honestly was not a fan of this particular coffee (the pumpkin spice) but even more not a fan of the customer service here. The person working behind the counter didn't look at me once when they spoke to me, they continued to make drinks while asking me what I wanted and I had no idea he was even speaking to me. After I paid he walked away without a word and that's my biggest pet peeve. I wish I hadn't left a tip because the customer service was horrible. It's in a cute area with some outdoor seating so I wish I enjoyed the coffee and experience more but I will likely not be returning.

Very solid coffee shop! I grabbed the birthday latte a couple weeks ago (unfortunately, a seasonal drink) and it was great! I've always had a great time coming here. The employees are kind and the service is quick. Lastly, I LOVE the location. I love the comfy outdoor seating for some reading. The inside is also super cute.

Confession: in all honesty I probably come here 80% for the whipped cream. It's so darn good...kinda like a creme fraiche but less tart. Perfect little coffee shop for a quick to-go order or outdoor meet up. I have biked to the shop or met up with friends and sat outdoors on sunny days. I've visited a few times and really loved their seasonal winter flavors. They don't always have flavored syrups (and that's ok) but when they do they are done just right - not too sweet. They also get the music volume just right here. I have a thing about the music often being too loud and intrusive at restaurants and bars so love to see it done right at Andytown. Today was a whole vibe with coffee, rain, and Jhene Aiko gently streaming from the speakers. The staff is friendly. Any time I have some questions they're always willing to be patient and answer. The pastries look amazing although I have not yet tried them. As I'm writing this, I have regrets that I did not pick up a three pack of cookies today! One note: I would love to see some more gluten-free options on the menu in the future.

Work of art, this pumpkin spice latte. This is what I expect if I'm paying $6+ for a latte! And it tastes even better than it looks!

I heart this place so much! Yes, coffee is an expensive habit and "we have coffee at home" as my husband loves to say, but it's not THIS coffee. If I'm going to pay upwards of $6 for a coffee, it certainly has to be Andytown! Their coffees are delicious, consistent, and use fresh ingredients. None of that weird film on the top of your mouth from their whipped cream (IYKYK). No sir, their whipped cream is as fresh as they come. And their seasonal drinks? Wowsa. I have never experienced a pumpkin space latte like theirs. It's so good, I get it well into winter (really tough choice between that and the peppermint mocha!). I also really love their staff. They all seem happy to be there, knowledgeable about the coffee and food, and willing to explain any drink to you; I've never felt rushed by them at all. I recently figured out I can do mobile orders here too, which is great for a quick stop in on the way to the park with the kids. Can't recommend this place enough, 10/10 in every way!

I've been to other locations, and have had good experiences, but this time was a bust unfortunately. Improving the drink quality + wait time could have made my experience better! Matcha latte: This was a very loose interpretation of a matcha latte. Even after mixing, the matcha had no flavor other than the brown sugar syrup that they add into the drink which essentially made this sweet milk. I really tried to look for a hint of matcha, but the milk and syrup really just overpowered it and left me disappointed. Service: I visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was slightly busy. There were only 2 employees, thus, I ended up waiting 25 minutes for my drink. I appreciated their earnestness as they apologized for the wait. They were very polite and served with a smile, but I just felt bad they were so understaffed. Ambiance: The interior is minimalistic and embraces Californian design. I enjoy looking at it, but it's not the best for working in. Most of the seating is dedicated for those waiting for drinks. The couple of tables that they do have inside are small and would only accommodate 2 people each. Outdoor seating is there, but not much. If you're coming here to work, I'd come on a full charge as there are limited outlets available. I'd say this is more of a pick-up-and-go type of shop, but you can also sit and chat outside. Parking: The parking is underground! Very nice/convenient since it's free. Spaces are a little tight, but there's plenty to choose from.

One of my favorite coffee spots! I first discovered it in San Francisco and it's been one of my favs ever since. I've put a lot of my friends and family on andytown. My friend discovered this one was closest to where I work. I always get an iced latte extra sweet with extra whip. Their whip is like a cold foam and the only syrup they carry is brown sugar but it tastes so good! The workers are always super nice and efficient! Street Parking can be difficult if you're in a rush but there is a parking garage next to the coffee shop. In the morning it's not too busy but I've been in the afternoon around 12 and it can get packed. I always do mobile ordering and they text you when it's ready.

Lots of tasty drink options with milk choices and customizable sweetness and ice level - much appreciated! Cakes were delicious and filled with freshly whipped cream. We had the hojicha and biscoff ones. Not incredibly busy - a lot of orders were takeout. Cons: A lot of things were out of stock by 1pm but maybe this is due to Mother's Day. Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order). Parking is very difficult- it's on el Camino so the cars are unforgiving if you're trying to parallel park, and the road parallel by a block is not much better. It has an alley and a very cramped space in the back for a lot. Expect to walk.

The French toast was fluffy, buttery, and easily one of the highlights. The omelette with cream and mirin really hit the spot, and the breakfast wrap was also excellent. No complaints here. Drinks (3/5): The drinks tasted good, but we ordered them extra hot and they arrived cold, which was disappointing. You are also responsible to pick them up so stay close to the barrista id you need coffee. Ambiance (4/5): The atmosphere is lively and energetic, which gives the place a fun brunch vibe. That said, it can feel overcrowded. The seating is very tight, tables are pushed close together, and the line can get quite long. Service (2/5): This was unfortunately the biggest issue. One of our items was missed in the original order. When I went back to fix it, staff initially entered it as a separate order and told me there wasn't much they could do and that I'd need to pick it up as a to-go order. After multiple conversations, I asked them to simply combine it with our original order and bring it to our table, which they eventually agreed to. When our food arrived, the missing item was still missing. After checking with staff three separate times, we were eventually told they were "doing us a favor" by giving us someone else's to-go item. By that point, we had already finished most of our breakfast and were ready to leave. The staff seemed more focused on explaining how busy they were rather than taking ownership of the mistake, even though the issue started with the original order being missed. Overall, this is a solid 4-star if you go on a quieter day and you don't need much customer service because the food is absolutely worth trying. On a busy day, though, be prepared for a potential 2-star experience, mainly due to customer service.
